I honestly have no idea where to start when speaking about how amazing HotWorx - Atascocita is. I have worked out my entire life but as I have gotten older (currently 40 years young) my body is not able to take the high impact of running and weightlifting like when I was in college. In 2018, I had back surgery and was knocking on the door of my second back surgery when I came across HotWorx. (Full disclosure; I have degenerative disc disease and had a laminectomy for my L4-L5 disc. Now I have an extremely herniated disc at the L5-S1 level). The low impact workouts that included massive calorie burn was just what the doctor ordered.....literally. When I went back to my neurosurgeon he was very impressed with my core strength and overall physical strength that he said I no longer needed to go to physical therapy and I dont need a second back surgery for now as long as I continue keeping my core strong. My body has become more toned, my skin has improved, and I have noticed a difference in my eating/drinking habits too. As much as I love the physical changes that have happened to me, thats not the best part. I am a high school teacher, mom to twins (currently in college), and a coachs wife. Need I say more about my stress level. We are all stressed in ways these days that no one ever thought was possible. HotWorx gives me the daily stress relief I truly need. It is hard to describe but every time I walk out of that sauna, I have a calm sense about me and I am ready to tackle the stressors in my life. 15 minutes....thats all you need for one HIIT workout. 30 minutes for one isometric workout. Open 24/7. All you have to do is show up and the workouts are ready for you with the virtual instructors. It is super quick! Trying HotWorx changed my life. HotWorx changed my husbands life. HotWorx changed my twins lives. We are all HotWorx members now and it has become something we do together or I do alone because they are annoying me and I want to get away lol. The ladies at HotWorx are truly amazing and I look forward to seeing them as often as possible. Give it a try.....you will not be disappointed!

Great workouts that prove fast results. I may be slightly addicted to hotworx. Lol. The infrared saunas detoxify your organs while you get a unique experience- something no other gym offers. Plus you can go ANY time of the day or night for a workout. Staff are friendly and attentive.

I do not understand how a place that is supposed to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles can stand by and let their manager and her daughter (who are also family members to the owners) to bully and harass somebody else... ESPECIALLY in regards to their weight. 0/10 recommend.

Before I go places I always read the reviews. Just about all of them were positive. The couple negative ones really looked to me like ex-employees or family of. I went and had a very exciting experience. The young lady that helped me was extremely sweet and very professional. I will be a member very soon. So be sure you go and form your own options!

I visited Hotworx Atasocita earlier today where I met both Alex and Ashley, they gave me a wonderful experience and tour of the studio, all of my questions were answered and I left with a new membership! I am beyond excited to start my journey at Hotworx! They were also really helpful when showing me how to schedule a class and work the apps. This studio is very up to date and super clean I was highly impressed and recommend Hotworx especially the Atasocita location to everyone!

Summary: The equipment is adequate for workouts, I cant speak to things that require the special mat to use. The sauna workouts get me sweating but are not necessarily too exciting. Value for access to equipment and space is not great; I can really only access 2 types of cardio machines in a sauna room and some free weights without buying the special mat. I was under the impression rowers would be in by now; hopefully I get to experience using them. I am disappointed about how a situation was handled and believe that poor communication is to blame. I will do my contractual 90 days and move on because of that. I would not recommend this gym. Equipment: The free weight section is the basic selection of dumbells you would expect at any fitness location. They have a rope, a pull up bar, and a cable machine. I mostly will use dumbells as I wait for the unit to warm up. The saunas are adequate, although they can feel a bit small with the cardio equipment. Unfortunately, they can take a bit of time to warm up. I try to arrive 15 minutes early to turn the unit up; but sometimes it takes closer to 20 to 25 minutes to get to full temp. I dont know how much of an impact this has towards the workouts. The rooms can feel a bit cramped for tall people. I only do the cardio workouts because I can not justify paying $100 for a supposedly specialized yoga mat that is required for other rooms. I wanted to try the mat before committing to the gym but then the 3 days of grace period passed and now I am committed for at least 90 days. I cant really comment on the workouts that need a mat. The cardio workouts currently include cycles. One of the cycle rooms allows for a more upper-body-centered set of exercises. The traditional cycling has 2 rooms dedicated for the equipment, 3 cycles per room. I much prefer room 8 because room 7 has two units that cannot be adjusted fully and therefore workouts are a pain if the locked in settings are not a fit for you. The workout videos change every month or so, I think. They can get a bit repetative after a few times. The hot blast is similar to cycle with a bit more upper body dynamics. Only one room has these modified cycling machines. I was told there would be rowers a few weeks back, but they are delayed. I will update the review if I get to use these. 2 Bathrooms, they seem clean and maintained most of the time. Value: I only do the cardio workouts and free weights to warm up because I did not want to pay $100 for the required yoga mat that I did not know about until after I signed up. There are only 2 machines that are a style of stationary cycles that I can use at the moment. I wish there were rowers. The concept of working out in a sauna is neat and does make me sweat, but its not really revolutionary. I dont think there is much special about the place that you cannot get through another gym. The price is not too amazing and I dont like being locked into a contract for 90 days. You can get a decent workout, but this is true of most gyms around. I did not realize my daughter would not be allowed on the premises after onboarding. Especially, since she was allowed to sit at the tables and color/read while I did my first workout the day of my onboarding. Experience: Onboarding seemed like it went good, but maybe that was just to get me to sign on. Unfortunately, I was a bit surprised about the 90 day commitment during sign up and gimmicky sounding $100 mat that is required. There was a miscommunication regarding being able to take my daughter onto the premises. I did not really enjoy that or how it was handled. Most of the staff is nice and helpful, although I think Ive only seen 4 different employees. I started my rating and received an accusatory email about bad reviews. I was disappointed with an aggressive voice-mail from a disgruntled employee that decided to make a big deal about a miscommunication the day before Thanksgiving. This ruined my experience here for the remainder of my contractual period.

The staff was VERY knowledgeable and answered every question promptly. They deeply care about their members and they show it through their service! It s a new gym with safe and very clean equipment and cutting edge technology(red light therapy and infrared saunas). There are some other reviews that contain untrue information about the service and quality of the gym, yet I recommend HOTWORX to ALL my friends. People just need to learn to FOLLOW THE RULES. I would HIGHLY recommend HOTWORX in Atascocita to anyone interested.

I was told before signing up that I could bring my daughter while I work out. I brought her once and she sat in the front at a table. The 2nd time I brought her she sat outside the door of the room I was in and read a book. As I finished a worker told me she couldnt sit there..which is fine. I understood and was happy to oblige. 10 workouts later, I brought her early the day before Thanksgiving with my husband who is also a member... she sat at a bench where my husband could see her while we cycled. She read a book. Hours later while I had family over helping prepare for Thanksgiving.. I received a phone call from Alex saying she saw on video I brought my daughter and that I was already told she couldnt be over there or in the place unsupervised.. I explained my husband could see her and said thank you, ended the call calm and tried not to cry. Alex then called and left me a rude voice mail saying she wasnt done talking on the phone and that it was my 2nd warning before they kick me out. All over their poor communication and misinformation! I balled my eyes out for half an hour over the situation. So embarrassed with family over for Thanksgiving. I decided despite everything I wanted to work on my health and not go with my daughter and avoid this lady Alex. Now she emails me trying to say I left multiple 1 star reviews and she didnt appreciate it. I left one review... this one. I am a mother trying to get healthy. Let me finish my 90 day membership in peace! Please! I dont have a lot of time to workout, otherwise I wouldnt go here. The machines are wobbly. Staff is rude, most machines dont adjust like they should, the temp takes forever to get set and the rowers are months behind on order. Why pick on me anyway! My husband has been there everytime as well. This is not professional! Ashley is nice.
