My husband and I just completed our estate planning and we are so happy that we chose Hailey-Petty Law Firm. After scouring the internet for local firms to do a trust, we settled on Hailey-Petty because of others reviews and the way they responded to their clients. We initially met with Courtney who explained the process and set us up for a revocable trust. After reviewing the different types of trusts and having them explained to us by Sharrissa, we opted for a more detailed generational trust. We never felt rushed or that our questions were too dumb to ask. Between Sharrissa and Fausto, we had all of our concerns and needs addressed, to include my small business and our less traditional division of assets. The fact that they also offer a military discount spoke volumes. They appreciate service members in a practical, tangible way and not just with a Thank you for your service. sent an inquiry from the firms website last Tuesday requesting a call back to set an appointment to have my spouses and my will updated. I received an automated response from Lisa saying it was received but call the office if it is during business hours. Ok, so I called the SA Office and left a message the same day. Two hours later, still no phone call or email response. Since I have worked with the public for many years as an intake specialist for law firms and other businesses I understand the importance of making contact with a PNC because you are just one business of several that that particular person is reaching out to. I for one, on the other hand research businesses by their reviews. I even went as far as to email Lisa AGAIN and inquire if their office in SA was in search of part-time help. Never heard back for an appointment or a courteous response. If a business has too much work to take on more why dont they let people know that in the automated email or even better attach a referral list to their automated email and just take it down once they are in a better place to take on business. It is difficult enough to find businesses that specializes in the LGBT Family Services but when you go as far as to advertise it and then drop the ball it is really disheartening because it is not like we have an unlimited amount of specialty businesses to pull from. Back to my search

We have gone to this firm twice--once for our original estate documents and again for an update. The update came during the pandemic. We originally tried to go through firms covered by our employers legal coverage plan, but after they scoffed at the idea of signing outdoors, we decided to pay and go back to Hailey-Petty. The process was incredibly easy, and we were able to safely meet on the offices front porch, with masks and available hand sanitizer. All transactions were either by phone or computer exchange except the final product which was done face-to-face with masks and documents signed inside my vehicle. Every person including legal aides and lawyer (Jessica) were polite and were responsive to all questions. I would not hesitate to use this firm again.
