Avoid Helping Hands Clinic as your PCP if you can! I was in the ER last Friday with a broken leg. They instructed me to follow up with an orthopedist and because I have an HMO I needed a referral. I spent three days with multiple phone calls, multiple hours on hold, and several messages left for the referral person (Mandy) and office staff there. To this day I have not received a callback. I went ahead and cash paid with the orthopedist because I needed to be seen and get further instructions. They tried to help me get a referral and the primary care will not give me the referral because they have to see me and prove that I have a broken leg. I am non weight-bearing so it is hard for me to around and all they want is my co-pay and to bill my insurance. It is absurd it took 5 days for them to respond, and they only responded to the orthopedist office, not even me!

Please BEWARE of this place!!! We were referred to them and were excited to go there. Such a huge disappointment. The doctor cancelled our appointment 3 times. They never tried to help us see another doctor there. When you call the office they dont answer the phone, it just goes to voicemail. They dont return calls when you leave a message. They took money from us for a blood test and never told us the results. This by far is the WORST place, we never had the opportunity to see the doctors beside manner. It has been a month dealing with this nonsense. We ended up going to a REAL hospital and got the info we needed and referred to a good primary doctor. I definitely will tell people to stay clear of here. Just AWEFUL... AWEFUL... AWEFUL.

Be careful here. Paid alot of money to get x-rays for my injury. I never received a call back its been 3 weeks. Ive been here twice and both times were awful. I heard a patient complaining and having issue the office assistants were mocking her and laughing. Im surprised this place hasnt been shut down yet.

The staff at this clinic is amazing. The front desk staff is very patient and kind.. The positivity of Amanda and her staff makes it not scary for my kid to come to her regular visits. These are people who truly care about their patients!!! I would recommend them to everyone.

Amanda was great but the front desk sucks. I called 8 times to see what time my sons appointment was but every time the phone just rang and rang and rang till it went to voice mail. Place needs to get better at answering their phones. The doctor was telling me last time that she wished more people brought babies there. But who would want to take their baby to a doctor who can Not even answer the phone. If i was having to see my sons doctor right away well oh well the front desk isnt answering

Seriously didnt expect my experience to be this great. Amanda is truly amazing! She was so attentive and so informal. I instantly felt better after my visit with her. Every phone call with her has also been so great. Once, I had an emergency come up when Amanda was not in office and her colleague helped me instantly and also made sure I was fully taken care of. I am so blessed to have found this clinic! I would definitely recommend coming here!

Amanda is great! Ive only been in once and she saw my baby, Im sure the other nurses/ doctors are great too. The only thing I have a tough time with is contacting the clinic! It seems that almost every time I call theyre busy and just dont answer. And I can never leave a message because their inbox is always full (which means theyre not getting to their messages anyway). Ive searched their website for another mode of contact (email, text message...), but they have none. Which is just frustrating. I like having this clinic as an option for medical care, but if I cant contact them to make appointments, is it really even an option?

This place has been incredible. The staff are patient and kind and extremely professional. They have all the resources to find a solution to your medical concern. The wait time is incredibly short in the 4 times I ve been there and every time I ve received quick lab results, and fast remedies that have been effective. I m grateful this place exists for people like myself who can t afford a private practice, but you know what? This place has been better than any private practice I ve ever been to. I fully recommend this place to anyone and everyone who seeks medical help. And if they can t resolve your concern in house, they will find a place that can. 10/10 would recommend this place to friends and family before any others.

Sandra is the worst receptionist. I have never in my life have had the worst customer service!!! Sandra was very rude to me over the phone when I was just asking simple questions. Sandra made my children cry because of her attitude. She s a very ugly person on the inside and I will not be giving this establishment my money until they do something about her.

First off the doctor that saw me Amanda was awesome! Couldnt of asked for any better for my initial visit. She diagnosed me with strep throat and prescribed antibiotics. I took the entire cycle and it seemed to go away. Less than 2 weeks later same symptoms again. I called on a Friday they said to call on monday when Amanda was in and she would send a refill to my pharmacy. So i called this morning and spoke with Sandra .Probably one of the rudest receptionists ive ever spoken with. She persisted that i was lying and that i would have to pay the full price be seen again for the same thing and be prescribed the same thing. She would not let me speak with or leave a message with the doctor. Rude staff but awesome doctor .

Ive been coming here for a while now. I always felt the front office staff were the sweetest people ever. They always go out of their way to be kind. I cant even understand these other reviews. Ive never been to a Dr.s office with front staff so kind until now this office. My only complaint is the wait time but Im sure its because they always have to work me in because they give me same day apt. And I appreciate that. Love this place!

This place is awesome. Every time I have visited this clinic, each and every staff member is attentive and quick to respond for any questions I have. Amanda is the doctor I see and she is the sweetest, most caring lady. Even if I go in for a slight fever, she always makes sure I am taken care of 110%. This clinic is my go-to place because they are not expensive, very quick, and I walk out feeling like Ive been in good hands.

Back in October 2017 Laura Cerventas, is who I seen there she is Great, she helped me out alot, medical wise. But her Office Staff is Horrible, they are Rude, every time you call to ask for Laura if you have any questions like shes asked us to do, they always tell me shes not there shes never there or hasnt made it in yet. They never let you make an appointment. One lady was so ugly to me on the phone to me. I Would never go back. Her office staff is bad for business, and she needs to know.

I went to this office for a pap smear and Laura Cervantes told me if i didnt hear from them everything is fine but if i would like to see my results to log into the patient portal.Well i decided to log into the patient portal after a few weeks just to look assuming everything was fine since they never called.When i log in i notice my pap results are not there so i called the office to let them know and they put Lauras assistant on the phone to let me know my pap was abnormal.Im like why did nobody call me and let me know this and she had no answer only that i needed to follow up with a doctor in Arlington.She said you sound concerned would you like Laura to call you and i said Yes.This happened on April 13 and here it is April 23rd and she still has not called me.Ive called everyday of the week and still she will not return my call.Also my pap results are still not on the patient portal and they are telling me she has to push them through which if she cant return a call what makes you think she will push them through.Im now gonna have to see another doctor since i have no idea whats going on with my health after paying this place for their service and they have provided me with nothing...All they did was take my money.Dont ever go here worst place i have ever experienced.THEY HAVE THE WORST PATIENT CARE POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!I filed a complaint with the medical board and hopefully something will happen and this place will be shut down.

Doctors are enthusiastic, but some of the front staff arent thorough with running purchases on insurance or by credit card. I was overcharged as a new patient when I have been there before, and old patients are charged a little less. Luckily the lady realized her error, and was apologetic, and returned the false charges back to my account. Also the other front desk women treat me like theyre annoyed at my presence, are dismissive to my needs. My most recent experience was after an appointment. I was scheduling an appointment and received an appointment card. I was supposed to get a reminder call about the appointment and I didn t. So I called them to ask Why. They said I was never scheduled. I went down to show them my appointment card, but the receptionist just shrugged and said sorry. She offered to schedule me for a few months down the road and I said no. I took my business elsewhere.

My son & I have both been patients of Dr Amanda Underwood for several years. She has always been so kind, helpful, & understanding. No complaint on the doctor whatsoever. BUT, as we all know, the front office staff in a doctors office is where the entire experience starts. & KAREN (the peach behind the front desk) is the absolute OPPOSITE of kind, helpful, & understanding. I think I have literally seen her eyes roll to the back of her head, & even take a moment to come back. I am a very patient person, but that lady brings out the CUSTOMER COMPLAINT in me that I do not normally have!! She needs serious training in respect for others. It is the most common courtesy & she is lacking in it so badly. Show it & receive it in return, Karen, it s as simple as that. You re not the one with the license or authority. You are simply the middle man between the patient & their doctor. I have to fight this lady for the most simple of services EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I will be finding a new physician for my family & will not return to this office. Ever.

This doctors office is horrible. I am having serious thyroid issues and they cant get me in until June!!!! June people. Its beginning of April. Thats a tad ridiculous. I always have a problem getting in to see someone and no one in the office space smiles. You really feel like a low life going to this clinic the way you are treated.

The staff is very caring and sweet! They always get you in when you are sick and really care that they are helping you get well. Very good with kids and adults. Wait times are less than at my kids pediatrician and they will work you in same day if you are sick. My pediatrician does not do that. I have been several times and have been very satisfied! Give them a try!

Been going here for about 4 years since we lost our insurance. Staff is always helpful even when you can tell its crazy. Doctors are through and enthusiastic. I expect a wait like all Drs offices but they have even worked in my son when hes sick and we had no previous appt.

Sat for 30 minutes waiting for my well woman check up and they call me up to the counter past my appt time to tell me that I cant bring my kids back with me. Even though theyve been to every kind of visit Ive had for the past 13 years at all doctors offices. They tried to give me speed at my last appt because I was concerned that I couldnt lose weight while on the depo shot. Not the solution I was looking for. I have one last shot to get this month because I dont have time to make other arrangements before then, but after that I will not be back.

Unorganized, office staff is RUDE, Office manager is never available, office staff had no idea if manager would even be in. I was told she would be in at 7:30 and still not in at 9:00 am, Provider told me to come in any day at 7:30 for blood work, I take off work & arrive at 7:30 only to be told cant have bloodwork done until after 8 (maybe),
