Absolutely horrible false advertising. Guest relations is extremely rude and will never resolve any issues. My family has been visiting this park for many years but this past year was completely different. Park hours were incorrect on Google. Only 3 rides were open all the times we went this summer. A lot of very upset kids and families. Six flags hurricane harbor Arlington is also an extremely unsanitary park, be prepared to get some kind of sick or fungus or rash everytime your family goes. We will definitely be taking this to the news with all the other families that were affected by Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Arlington. They will also be dealing with all of our attorneys which dont take these kinds of things so lightly. Save your family of all the trouble and sickness dont ever go here.

Went with my sister, niece and nephew and had an amazing day! We love the wave pool and lazy river and the black hole was worth the wait in line. Food prices as well as parking are a little pricey but eat before and get dropped off and picked up and you save a ton of money. Either way its a wonderful choice for a family getaway!

I hadnt been here in years, but I was very disappointed. Quite a few rides were closed, and im sorry, but the price to get in plus parking is ridiculous. You, as a company, should honestly be ashamed of yourselves, you charge so much money to get in, and for parking as well, and lets not forget food, and drinks, and you are not allowed to take an ice chest in, or bring your own food, Alot of people who have children especially multiple children wouldnt be able to afford the prices for this, and I think it is totally unfair that because of how expensive it is, only select people can afford. I am sure Six Flags is the same way. Wish I had money to open a water park or amusement park, I would make it so everyone, every child could enjoy it..

Its a great water park, hands down. I consider it my schlitterbahn alternative. Problem is, on a holiday weekend, half the rides are closed. Wave pool is not running. Lazy river is closed. 45min wait for slides. My bestie got his ticket at the gate. Big mistake. He paid full price for half a park. $100. Next time we will just go to Hawaiian falls or just plan the drive to austin. Managers there said they were short staffed. Website claimed $25 tickets for labor day weekend. At checkout they were bumped by a $13 convenience fee. Makes me feel special.

Hands down the worst Waterpark in the DFW. It s rundown and filthy. $230 for 5 people for only the wave pool and other large pool to be open. No lazy river, no slides, nothing was open and they don t even give you a heads up about it before you spend a couple hundred bucks. They need to be sued, this is absolutely egregious and should be considered consumer fraud. Will NEVER return in a million years and definitely would never recommend. If you want to cool off from the Texas heat, you re better off sticking to your community pool.

Not great. Not even good. We are pass holders and have been really disappointed with all of the parks we ve been to. Hurricane Harbor was no exception. Sticking to the theme of having a large number of rides out of commission, long lines due to the decreased number of rides available and the overall rundown feeling you get, we won t be back. Considering the cost of admission and parking, hurricane harbor missed the mark.

As a Six Flags Plus pass holder me and my son come here on days when its too hot for Six Flags, fun water park but lines are a bit too long for the thrill rides and during our last visit they had a quarter of the park shut down and closed 2 hours ahead of schedule. We werent too happy about it seeing that our new favorite ride was the boogie board waves :( also had a bit of an argument over my sons height on one of the rides during our first visit. I understand safety but my son was clearly tall enough to ride the ride and had rode it earlier in the day but a trainee wouldnt allow him to, even after showing her he was clearly inches above the height requirement. Some people just cant admit their faults but it is what it is. Otherwise when the whole park is open we do have an awesome time!

We come for years woth the kids. At least 4 times. Once in another state. But he said hes done with them. The major food court people didnt turn our buzzer on. So our took an hour before I flipped out on them. And not just me another guy took longer and just went and got his money back. So I lost an hour on rides, waiting on food. Couple weeks before the end of summer. I will admit the ride workers great but the others are there to ride the clock.

I am a season pass holder, but I think this year will be the last year I buy one. Same issues this year as last year, over half the rides closed bc they are short staffed, but all the concession stands were fully staffed, guess that makes sense bc they can make more money from people buying food since you already bought your ticket to get in. Also had employees supervising? (Not lifeguards) standing around literally picking their nose. I really think if you know you don t have the staff and don t have enough people hired for the season, they should lower the cost of tickets.

Went to Hurricane Harbor to celebrate a birthday. I only gave them 2 stars because the entrance lines were fast and the friendly staff. The ticket prices should be lowered because only half of the park was operating. The best rides weren t even open. Lines were long because of the small selection. Food was expensive! $32 for 2 large drinks and beef nachos. The nachos being $18 and making me sick to my stomach the same day and the day after due to the mystery beef being used. Also, if a ride is going to be shut down at least remove the green colored water from it. No one wants to wait in line for 45 minutes for a mediocre ride and have to look at green water. Other than buy your tickets ahead of time, you will save a little $$.

Found the pricing of the cabanas and shaded priority spots an absolute rip off in price 350 dollars one area and over 400 dollars for a more superior area...... but there were plenty of spaces in the shade for what we needed. Overall enjoyed our time there, many food and drink outlets, providing a buy a cup for 20 dollars which then allowed you free further drinks thereafter..... Many major slides.... I didnt personally go on, I enjoyed the main swimming wave pool.

If I only wanted my grandkids to be able to splash around in some water we could have went to thr splash pad for free. I understand most of your staff has gone back to school but you should have that advertised that some rides could be closed due to that reason so people dont waist their money on an already over priced place. Made my first trip to Hurricane Harbor yesterday (8/9/24) since my senior year of high school with my 12 year old son. Was thoroughly disappointed in our entire experience. Here are my thoughts. 1. Too expensive - well over $100 for 2 tickets and 2 crappy meals. $40+ dollars to park, and another $18 to rent a locker to keep our items safe. $15 if you want to rent a tube to float. Entire visit felt like I was being taken. 2. No outside food. If you want to spend the day you re forced to buy their overpriced not very good food. 3. My biggest complaint though was half the attractions were closed. Not sure if it was a staffing issue or what. But with so many attractions closed, it made the lines on the open rides way too long. If you re going to shut down half your rides, it should be reflected in the price. We made the best our trip there, but I would not go back any time soon. Can t imagine if I would have taken our entire family of 6, we would have had to take out a second mortgage.

If you re in an upper level management or executive position and taking full price for half of the experience, you should adjust the ticket price or at the very minimum take the steps to staff your facility prior to opening the gates. Some cosmetic maintenance would also go a long way at this location as well. In summary, do better or let someone else take the lead.

Everything was overpriced obviously but they don t accept cash. In addition they were out of stock of certain food items. 4.1 stars is a joke of a rating. This place doesn t even deserve one star. If I could but 0 stars I would. It honestly baffles me how little rafts they had for their rides for such a large and expensive park. This place is laughably awful. I spent more time standing in line than I did actually in the water. Splashing around in the puddle outside my house would ve been a better use of my time and brought me much more joy. -All of the large single rider slides were closed. All of them. Only four large slides were open (and they were all multi-person rides). None of the slides in kid pool were open either. Asked mgmt and they could only say they were short handed. -With the exception of one fairly polite young lady at a food shop, ALL of the lifeguards, security guards, and slide attendants were indifferent at best. One ride attendant was allowing his friends to cut in line. -Food is ridiculously expensive and quality was poor. $23 for a small Burger, small portion of fries, and a small drink. Quality was subpar as well. Icee and pretzel were good ($9 each also though). -The attractions we were able to ride were really fun. Overall we were very disappointed. It had been a long time since we ve been and we won t be back. I have much fonder memories of the old wet and wild from my childhood. I m guessing ownership and upper management of Six Flags are very well paid? How about we invest some of that in your ground level employees who are out there doing the work. Pay them more and demand more of them. Probably help You hire enough people to fully open the park too. Please - be more transparent about how many slides will likely be closed or open. You should not be charging us full price when have of the park is closed. Friends - spend your money elsewhere. We will be going to Hawaiian Falls, Epic Waters, or any other water park but this one. This place is 100% not worth the money.

Go to NRH20 or Hawaiian falls or anywhere else. This is Hurricane Horror. I went for my first time on Saturday 8/3. Complete disappointment. First and foremost, the all day eating pass needs to be better. I had an all day eating pass and not once did an employee at the park tell me that I get a free cup or a wrist band for it. But rather when I asked they said I have to carry the paper around all day. Second, everything is crazy expensive so just don t plan on eating and paying for the mediocre food. You have to pay $15-18 for a meal and then you have to separately pay for a drink. If you bring your own water bottle. You can refill it for free at one of the hot water fountains. Third, I ve never been to a place where I ve had to rent tubes for the lazy river. $15 is absurd. It felt like I giant money grab. Fourth, one of the rides there (the Arctic wolf I believe) is a raft ride that can fit 2-3 people. On the sign at the front of the linen it says 2-3 people under 600lbs. So me, my sister, and her bf, thought we would ride it together. After a 50min-1hr wait. Finally we got to the front and the staff member said it s 2 adults only. I respected it and didn t fight with her. Then when the next raft came up she said i can t go down alone. Again I m not going to fight because it s not worth it. But I m fuming. I walked back down and finally after walking back down I then see someone get sent down as a solo rider Finally, this place was gross. Just trash and kids vomiting. The only reason I even gave this place a single star is because some of the staff workers were nice. But other than that I wish I could give 0.

I am a big fan of the Six Flags franchise, but I was disappointed with my visit. Lets talk about the good first. It is a clean park. The restrooms were maintained throughout the day, and people cleaned up constantly. Plenty of places to sit down and rest. We rented a cabana, and it was nice as well. Its nothing fancy, but its a nice place to relax; however, it is not worth the $148.00 (1/2 off since we are season pass holders). Now lets talk about the bad. Most of the slides were closed, and when that happens, the ones that are open are packed. There wasnt a wide variety of price options or variety for the food. Also, the food looked very fast food like for the price. We ended up leaving, getting a bite to eat, and then returning to the park. I couldnt get myself to buy a $20 cheeseburger for 3 people ($60!) when there was a fat burger a mile away. I had an issue where my season drink cup had melted and you arent supposed to drink out of that cheap plastic once it has been melted. So I politely asked for a new cup as I had spent $40 on that one. The customer service people were extremely rude and unwilling to try to reach a conclusion except for me being screwed. You cant expect me to believe that those cups cost a lot and I was very polite. Eventually, I told them that I wanted to file a complaint, and when I started filling out the paper form, another manager type came out and gave me a new cup. All of that work for a replacement cup that they couldve handed me, and I wouldve been on my way. Overall, most of the employees didnt seem to care, and all had an attitude like I was inconveniencing them by needing a refill or asking a question. My suggestion is to close down 1/2 of the food vendors, since there was never a line, and take those employees to run the slides.

Don t recommend wearing your fav shoes or any cute shoes. My crocs that had a bunch of croc charms and were my favorite were stolen and I couldn t get them back. I recommend wearing simple basic sandals that don t attract attention of a thief. Sadly I had to go home shoeless.

I usually don t leave reviews like this but after my last visit it s needed. The lifeguards need a full training or have an age limit on who can be a lifeguard. They have zero regard for safety, they re rude, and zero social skills. I know it s hot and I know it s probably your first job but as a former head lifeguard they really need to step it up and pay attention. Shouldn t expect much from them as they re literally just kids.

We went into the day knowing the limitations so had a great time anyways. We were there on Friday, 8/2/24. Our wait times for the rides ranged from 15 minutes at the end of the day to 1 hour in the middle. *note that the wait time question Google reviewers are asked is wait time to enter not wait time to ride * The good: -Rides were very fun -Place was clean -Lots of seats/tables in the shade to chose from -water bottle fillers at water fountains (but the water is cool, not cold) The bad: -half the rides were closed that day -they started shutting down rides around 6 pm, when the close time is 7 pm. By 6:15 pm, all the pools were closed. By 6:30, all the rides were closed. By 6:45, the bathrooms were closed. -minimum $40 (including tax) for parking -$15 for small locker, $20 for large locker -of course the food/drinks are overpriced -pavement was VERY hot. Wear your shoes as much as you can We might return one day but will try other water parks before returning here

The Lazy River was extremely filthy. Most of the drink stations were out of cups as well as drinks. The wave pool didnt start waves hardly ever. Very disappointed. For the money you spend you would think they would at least have drinks available. And clean their lazy river. It was murkey and had debris floating all in it.

First of all let me say most of the staff was great, except the guy the was by the pool refiling drinks. When my so went up there he yelled at my some what do you want proceeded with not adding ice slamming the cup on the counter. We paid 32.50 for ea ticket on a Friday I was oh nice. Parking was $40 I thought that was weird, but I was okay with it. It was kind of empty should have been the first red flag! When we go in everything is good noticed not a lot of people my kids were excited because that meant shorter lines! We start going towards the slides and I am.so serious when I say this only 3 of the big slides were open! I took my younger kids to the little kid pool and those were closed! We basically went to the water park for wave pool that, I would not even consider those waves. If you ever went to surf and swim in Garland, those are waves. The lazy river was okay, not to crowded but still. If I would have known only 3 big slides were going to be open I would have gon to Hawaiian falls!! We did as why they were closed and the young guybwe asked rolled his eyes and said I dunno. People save your money and dont go, or call ahead and ask ahead of time if the what slides are open!

Park is small compared to the one in California. The lazy river isn t that long to go around. They don t have enough seats to sit down and eat your food. The selection of food they have isn t great. I thought this park being that it s in Texas would be bigger and better but it definitely doesn t beat California s hurricane harbor whatsoever. Y all gotta go and see for yourselves

PLEASE READ!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! $40 for parking, plus tickets, plus food, plus $20 for lockers just for half the rides to be closed because of staffing. We were waiting for nachos a saw the worker add 5 cups of tap water to water down the nacho cheese. We were about to go down a ride when they decided to close it due to murky water. The worker literally said out loud no sweat of my back if we close! So much everywhere and you can tell they have no desire to maintain the rides or hire enough people to let customers ride all the rides that should be available. We went to customer service just for them to not even hear my concerns. They just kept saying the same sentence over and over again. I then asked to speak to a manager and he also didn t care to hear my concerns. We wish we would have chosen a smaller park, with no parking fee, with cheap prices that included meals because we would have rode just as many rides with the amount of rides hurricane harbor had closed. Update- they comment to contact them like they care about your experience but they never respond to you.

This is a rip off. I came in on 08/02/2024 and upon walking in they told us all their rides were closed THEY WILL RUIN YOUR KIDS DAY! That s right lolll the park that claims has the most rides has no working rides due to staff shortages. Pay your employees more! It was a waste of 200 and parking and time Thankfully we were refunded after fighting with them for 30 minutes. The main supervisor was kind and made things right but by then I was extremely upset. Upon leaving I could read the sadness all over the face of the two kids so I had to bite it and rebuy day tickets but this time I didn t add anything extra. Upon walking in they sure were right. ONLY about 6 open rides out of the many they have. ALL the kids rides CLOSED! So we literally paid 100.00 for 3 tickets to get on basically 4 rides in total. You guys should be ashamed of your yourselves! Specially after claiming it s a place for enjoyment. I asked for a refill and the employee dipped my WHOLE cup in the ice box. Do you know how unsanitary that is? Be foreal! So disgustingly sick! Apparently they were out of buffalo sauce, ranch sauce and basically anything else. Don t come here and waste your money. Hawaiian falls will do you so good! This place sucks!

Ive been coming to Hurricane Harbor since I was a kid in the 90s. Season pass holder for years, but I think Im ready to move on. Over the past few years, they have removed classic rides( bonsai boggins), reduced staff to the point they cant fully operate, and increased prices for everything inside the park. I went with my daughter the other day (mid-week), and nearly half the attractions were closed. Because of this, all the lines for the open rides were long. I witnessed concession customers being ignored to the point they gave up and walked away... it was strange. After 2 hours we were over it and went to six flags to enjoy the rest of our day. I am including a map of the park marked with closed and partially closed rides.

My first time at Hurricane Harbor. A lot of the attractions were closed. I dont like the big slides cause Im afraid of heights...only one of the smaller ones were open so I wasnt able to enjoy one slide. Food and drinks were horribly expensive so I waited till we left to eat. The place was nothing special. I liked NRH20 much better. If my ticket hadnt been 1/2: price because my family had passes, I probably would have never visited the park. I did enjoy spending time with my family.

Even on a weekday there was a lot of people. Theres too many rides closed for the amount of people there. For the younger kids there was 4 slides not open, along with other various rides being closed. Thats the biggest reason for the 2 stars. Tickets and parking are pretty pricey to get inside and only have a few rides open, add in the abundance of people and the wait times, for the rides that are open can be close to an hour. Its like paying over almost $100 for one person just to swim in a big pool or two. We went on a Wednesday expecting it to be less crowded to enjoy more rides. Not all but some of the employees are rude, we bought the meal deal for free meals every so often but you have to keep your phone on you. I tried asking the customer service about getting a band and their response was youll live. Ofcourse I will, it was just an inconvenience to run to the locker anytime we needed the phone scanned but the free refill cup came with a band, youd think theyd do the same when youre paying $40 already for the deal. Wasnt a huge problem but the response from the guy that only cared about his phone was a little annoying.

This place is AWESOME! The rides are tons of fun! Do not expect all of them to be open. We come here often and at least one ride is always closed, but there are so many more to go on. They do have a couple restrooms scattered around the park. It is usually packed (even on weekdays) which makes it so you have to wait in a line for rides, but it is worth it. They do have rides for kids and small teens and adults. They do have weight limits and they do weigh you on most rides. The weight limit is usually 250 pounds for one person and 400 for two. They do have food stands but be prepared to spend a TON of money for food. A chicken strip basket with fries is around $20. We have brought a small backpack the last few times and they haven t checked them, which they do at Six Flags. We have brought some unopened water bottles with us and they have a refill station which is free! The weekends are crazy busy, but again, it is tons of fun. I would wear some sort of water shoes because the ground gets HOT but if they re crocks or sandals you just have to take them off before you get on the ride. We ve never had an issue on someone stealing our shoes. Overall, fantastic place to have fun! We have season passes because it is cheaper if you re going to go a few times.

Ive been going to Hurricane Harbor for about 25 years; had season passes as a teen. Today, Im saddened by many of the changes that have been made, as theyre NOT for the betterment of customer experience. I see everywhere the addition of things to generate more revenue (cabana & chair rentals, etc), but it seems very little of that revenue is being used to upkeep the park or pay the employees enough to not be miserable at work. Out of every ride we rode, not one employee even interacted with us in any way. Many rides were closed (at least 4 of our favorites). Some rides that were open had half the slides unavailable for use despite them clearly being in working order with water flowing just like the others (Shotgun Falls, for example). This unnecessarily increased wait times DRASTICALLY and severely impacted the experience throughout the park. For some slides, the process has clearly changed over the years which has caused each ride cycle to take 3x longer than it did 20 years ago. For example, at Geronimo & Der Stuka the lifeguard at the bottom presses the button, walks over to the side of the splash pool, then Geronimo rider comes down, gets out, then both Der Stuka riders come down, get out, and once theyre past the red line away from the pool, the lifeguard walks (VERY VERY SLOWLY, mind you) back over to the button, visually scans the pool, picks up their cup, takes a drink of water, sets their cup back down, stretches, and then presses the button again, to repeat the cycle. As I type this out, this sounds petty as hell, but WHY is there not only no sense of urgency, but it seems like the employees have been told to go as slow as possible every step of the way?? Keep in mind that there is a huge line of people up at the top of the slide waiting, once excited to ride, and the lack of enthusiasm in the ride cycle process has customers complaining to one another in line. Years ago the attendants would interact with the queue, regularly, they seemed to be having fun and chatting it up, ALWAYS- without fail. I could probably write a small novel on how this park could improve, but I guess its not really my job to determine that My job is just to determine if its really worth my money to keep my familys memberships active when both SFOT and HH are falling apart in all directions...
