Love this place, friendly staff, nice people. I was with the band Derringer the night they performed. Great outdoor area, plenty of seating. It did get pretty cold that night but a nice man Loan me a jacket, How sweet!!!! To keep warm

This is one of the few local places that have legit patty melts on the menu... and they are excellent. I really wish they carried Avery White Rascal... but thats no reason to lose a star. The occasional live music and random peacock appearances (yeah, theres a peacock... as in the bird... that roams the grounds) makes this a great place (even if they dont carry my favorite craft beer).

Nice saloon to visit on 281 drive. Pet friendly, good food and you might see some live music. Theres all the bar games. Pool, shuffleboard, darts and more. I recommend the Reuben or Braut & kraut.

Absolutely disgusting! We have been there a few times but last night was the absolute last. We were there a total of 5 min because of the ROACHES!!!!! We sat there and watched as multiple huge roaches crawled across the bar top right in front of the bartenders and on top of all the condiment packets in baskets. These werent little roaches either, they were the big nasty flying kind. The door to the kitchen was wide open so I can only imagine that they were back there as well. 0-5 stars

I havent been since during CoVid. Its just a great now as it was then. I had a bison cheeseburger with Pepperjack cheese and added jalapeños, mushrooms, and onions. It was great!! Played some pool with my wife, son, and his son to be fiancé.

Nice little bar with a big outside courtyard. They do have live music but its hard to tell that when youre driving by. Right at the intersection of 306 and 281. Order your beers and food at the bar and enjoy the locals in the pool tables. Bathrooms are outside so dont be surprised about that. The food is pretty decent but I have had better and I guess it just depends on whos cooking it.....

Nice low key bar and grill, looks like a nice place to go have fun on a weekend. The bartender was a nice guy, and was always available for questions. Had a gal at a bar last week when I ordered a drink she immediately wanted my credit card to run a tab, she was unpleasant, this bartender got my food order my drink and never said a word, when I was done, I paid. Now thats what I like.

Love Shade Tree! Just saw the most amazing rock band there this week called Haywire. Going to see them again on the 19th. Great dance floor, great food, and great locals, most of all the bartending staff is friendly, attentive, and highly experienced! Wheelchair accessibility: It is excellent!

Our motorcycle group went as a stop on our ride. They were informed that we would be stopping by but didnt have staff enough to handle it.. They have a full kitchen but have no idea whats on the menu. There was 1 person working. He was the cook, server, bartender and host. While we waited in line he was worried about where the remote was so he could channels. Next time I go I will hopefully be able to leave a 5 star review but not this time.

Difficult to rate. Not for everyone. Rustic, but clean. Great place to visit with friends. Open and roomy. I am not a drinker, but do not mind others doing so. It is a place that allows people to visit, and talk. Brings back old memories of the beer joints, I grew up in.

Dive bar. However, the bison burger was good. They ask if you would like to keep your tab open, but you have to get back in line to order drinks, whats the use in keeping a tab open? Also, a group of people sat at the end of the bar, and they never got back in line to order drinks, and the bar tender served them while they sat.

What a great time!!!! My second time there proved my great experience was NOT a coincidence. We were looking for comfort food/Bar burgers and we hit PAY DIRT!!! The Rueben is in a class of its own. We are permanent fixtures now. I have to warn anyone looking at this rave review, that thus is an off highway, Texas Saloon. You wont find white tablecloths and finger bowls here. Theres an open ceiling and a barn feel to the main bar, which is what we were looking for. What you Will find here is super friendly staff, ice cold beer and above average food. I cant say enough about the rueben!!!! I am a very picky Reuben connoisseur. And on the weekends, Im kind of a sewer of cold beer! I cant wait for summer as the outside venue looks like lots of fun. I dont always give such positive reviews, however, when an underdog place delivers, I will shout about great service and atmosphere from the mountain top! Im glad I live close. We will be there often. Thanks Shade tree for a great time!!! Kid-friendliness: Its a place where there is something for the entire family to enjoy.

Very nice biker bar It is a restaurant-bar now but still retains the majority of its original feel, they do permit children and there is no smoking inside any longer, however I would not recommend bringing children as it is primarily a bar regardless of its rebranding several years ago, they have live music 3-4(I dont frequent the bar but I drive past it on my daily commute)out of the week and karaoke nights the staff is and always has been very pleasant and the food is restaurant quality it is not typical bar food I am particularly partial to the bison burger they serve.
