This is consistent with other reviews after reading them. Our table was lied to about happy hour and overcharged. It was a Friday with $5 well whiskey during happy hour. Ordered a whiskey coke, specifically said well was fine and got charged the full price. Regardless of how great a spot is, lying your customers is never acceptable. When we asked the staff about it, all they said was sorry with no explanation. Seems like a spot with a lot of potential, hopefully they can turn their ship around on that front.

We came here asked for the happy hour menu. Once our waiter Heber told us the options we chose one and proceeded to order about 15 in total for our table. Once our bill came they were not charged as happy hour prices and he said he never said that even though multiple of us all heard the same thing. Horrible service and we were 100% lied to.

We had out of town guests and they wanted to eat at Troys so we did. Nice set up but food service was slow, fries were cool and my burger was not very hot which leads me to believe food was sitting. We got waters right away but had to wait for drinks for 5-10 mins. Did not get water refills until we were almost done. Our server was nice, seemed like she may have been new. Usually managers check on your table but no one ever did. Food was Ok bar food. Not terrible but would not make an effort to eat there again.

Troy is one of the best bartenders I ve encountered in a long time. If it were not for him I would have left after 1 drink and dinner but I stayed for a few hours. Junior also cleaned up a bunch of glass some patrons dropped so good man as well.

The food was decent. However they have a ridiculous rule. In order to be seated, you need to agree that each person in the party needs to spend $50 each. Thats ridiculous. The vibes were so boring in there. I wouldnt recommend.

Went here to watch the World Series. We had a fantastic waiter and the food was great. The atmosphere was also really great. The only problem was the host. Apparently there was a minimum to be seated at a booth for the game (which is ok) but we were not informed of the minimum until the bill came. We were asked to pay $30 more than our bill to hit the minimum (again not told about until the bill came). Our server was great and allowed us to talk to the host. When we talked to the host, this young man was very snarky, kept arguing with my wife and I, and was very unprofessional. He kept arguing that he had told us of the minimum (which was a blatant lie) to cover his own mistake. Great restaurant, but not a good host.

Burgers were very tasty as was the giant pretzel. The waffle fries were rock hard but maybe they were going for a chip vibe? Either way couldnt eat them They dont have a kids menu so be prepared for that. Kid friendly location inside the Live Arena, next to a major ballpark with no kids menu doesnt seem wise. Waiter was extremely inattentive on one of their slowest nights. It was our family and 3 other patrons and I still had to go to the bar to get my own drink because I was tired of waiting. Live music they had was great. It will be awhile before were back here though. With all the options at Live this was the backside of worth it for us.

This place was fun! Once it got kinda busy the service was slow but the food was pretty decent. I think I enjoyed the service more than the food. Our waitress was great and friendly. I loved the perfume she was wearing and she happened to give us the bottle to take back with us since we were from out of town. I liked how close it was to the baseball stadium so we just went to the game directly from there.

General Manager at this location is a rude individual. She is a bully and when you get back with her and stand your ground she becomes a victim. We had a party of 10 we agreed to break our group up and she asked who was the first six as I was getting the first 6 she asked again was all parties here. I said you asked that alelready and I confirmed they were. It was a aggravating situation. As we went back and forth she then said I was speaking to here staff in a negative manner and I could leave. I did leave but as me and my family was standing out side the door a young white lady walked in and asked for a seat she allowed her to go get the rest of her party up stairs and started seating the other group. Seems a little suspicious to me a black man gets attitude and a blond lady gets to gather her group. I will never eat at this location if it were free as who knows what this GM is capable of doing. Beware of this location as a cowboy fan. Oh yea season ticket holder as well as a frequent texas live attendee. Not just ranting here.

Great atmosphere for game day. Yet so packed and crowded that getting any kind of actual service is not gonna happen. The menu isn t that great. We had a pretzel appetizer that was dry and bland. They brought no plates. No napkins and no silverware with our pretzel. Several minutes after we received it we were given some kind of shredded cheese as a dipping option. I ordered the pimento burger being the plainest burger on the menu. It was brought out to temperature and seemed fine but had a strange odor. I chalked it up to the pimento. My small plastic cup filled with ice and 4oz of soda was never refilled. We were there an hour. One drink. No refill. Dry pretzel. Huge burger and waffle fries. And 4 oz of soda to wash it all down. I had one bite of the pretzel. Ate 1/3 of the burger. Paid. Tipped $10. Then went up to Loews and puked my guts out for 20 minutes. Live music was great. Server was either aloof or just too busy. Not her fault. She can only be as good as she is trained. I wanted to ask for a manager but felt the sickness coming so I just left. This type of establishment strikes as the type to get by off of location and name solely. Id rather have day old Burger King.

Food was ok. Didnt like whatever it was that they added to the ketchup. The burger didnt taste like it was seasoned at all. The waffle fries were too crispy for my taste. And again, whatever they seasoned them with made them taste a little off. The server was nice, but rarely checked on us or asked to refill our drinks even when they were noticably empty. I was also expecting a menu with more variety. Its basically a burger joint with some salad options, appetizers, and several burger options. Overall the environment is nice, but not impressed by the food here.

I cannot recommend this place due to issues with the staff. First poor communication. Second, staff forgetting the customer comes first. First, it s important to note that I had a large party. There were 8 of us for Lady Gaga concert. 1st time I engage the staff the only tell me that they can t reserve a table for my party. No problem I tell them I ll be back in less than 5 mins. 2nd time I engage the front desk staff I advise that my friends are at another establishment in TX Live complex and will be joining me shortly. I wait at the front desk my the same concierge person begins seating 3 other tables. Only then does he tell me that others from my party must be present 3rd time I show up with 5 of my party with 2 friends parking their car do I learn that they won t seat us unless all 8 of us are present at the time we are to be seated. When I grew agitated the out-of-control staff threatened to kick out me from ENTIRE complex. They threatened not only me but my party as well. The pedant staff ruins any fun one might have. Went to the ballpark yesterday for a Tuesday night game. Started the evening at Troy s. Sat down at an open table. Waitress passed us over 6 times. Decided to go to the bar for drinks and a pretzel for our party. Spending $70+. As soon as I sat back down the manager rudely made us get up from our table because we had not followed their seating protocol. How are we supposed to know? The place was empty with seats when we got there clearly and only after I spend money at your establishment do you finally decide to interact with me easily could have told me the procedure while your waitress was actively ignoring us and instead you stick me in the 100 degree heat. Troy s will never see a dollar of mine again.

My husband took his Supervisory crew along with their significant others. We had a group of 14. The restaurant had good reviews so we felt okay dining there. Our original drink drink order and all the appetizers came out on time and tasted great. Thats about where it ended. Wednesday is steak night and since they only have it one night a week we figured it would be good and several people ordered a steak which came with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. Every steak had cold potatoes, the steak was very tough and the brussel sprouts were under cooked. For those of us who ordered a burger, most were okay but several people got the wrong toppings on their burger. The waffle fries were so crispy and over cooked it felt like you were eating garlic toast. The waitress was doing the best she could and because they were understaffed, she had a couple additional tables. Im not sure what happened but a second drink order took over 30 minutes. Many people couldnt even eat. My husband talked with the manager and expressed his disappointment. We did get our drinks complimentary but we ended up ordering food at the main bar so people could be fed. I doubt we will be back.

Went to Troy s this past Thursday before the rangers game. Had a burger and fries. Burger was okay, a bit over cooked. Fries came with some of the bag used to package the fries in the bowl. Guess some of the bag ended up in the fryer and into my bowl. Other than the screw up on food, the service was decent. Place is a bit overpriced for what they offer, but certainly overpriced when you receive food with physical contaminants.

This was our second time at Troys.. we love the Texas Live atmosphere and enjoy a walk around the place, we decided to sit and eat at Troys for the super bowl.. when we get there we are told that we must spend $100 to sit in there restaurant.. we agree to do that .. it was not packed and had plenty seating available unlike other places there.. so we thought great.. but SERVICE was BAD! After we got seated we waited 20-25 minutes before I had to get up and speak to the hostess ( who end up being the manager) about how no one has attended to us.. we spotted about 3 waiters and mine came to attend us.. the manager didn t apologize but she did get us a waitress and said that our first round was going to be on her, I said okay cool.. we finally get our order in and drinks .. the food was okay not bad but not worth the price.. and the drinks were okay, took a while to make the drinks every time though. . Over all I don t think we had a god experience or good service .. oh and the manager NEVER paid for the first round AS SHE stated she would. . But we left and paid our $120 bill with a $10 tip. Don t think we will ever be back to eat or drink there again sadly.

Love the location. Its in the heart of Texas Live area thats literally right outside the Cowboy stadium in Arlington. Definitely check this place out and pre-party or tailgate on game days. The food at Troys particularly is great. I ordered the Greens and Grains salad. Super filling for whats essentially a dish thats made for a side. The dishes are pretty pricey ($16 for my salad), but like I said, filling. Ill be back for more :)

I had the Bacon carmalized union hamburger and my girlfriend had the all beef hamburger. Both our hamburgers were dry. Dont recommend them.

Food and drinks were really good. We had to go to the bar to order drinks, had to find a server because no one came to us for over 45 minutes even when we did get a server it was impossible to even get them to come back to our table.

2/1/2020 Waitresses and hostesses were very nice but the food was subpar at best. The Spinach Artichoke Dip was ok, the chips and bread that came with it were stale. I got the Texas Heat Burger and it wasnt flavorful at all. The fries were tasty. Ive had better food for way less. Overhyped IMO.
