Ultimately it was disappointing. The main event really didnt benefit from the curved screen as it couldve been just a regular flat screen film and had nothing interesting to visually see on the planetarium screen The lady who did the constellation sight seeing utilized the immersive screen correctly and really delivered a worth while show. The final event was this strange Rollercoaster marble film with the most out of place song Ive heared in a planetarium There were also physical issues. Dead pixels dotted the screen although not enough to completely ruine the view. The screen itself was also not aligned correctly so you could tell where the seams were. The actual films they showed were so visually outdated that they reminded me of when my teacher would roll in the TV to watch a badly 3D animated movie about science. Kinda want my money back.

First visit got off to a rocky start: Was hard to find general public parking; The parking lot sign said we could pay at some toll station that we could never find; The receptionist / cashier wasn t available at 12:30 PM opening time, so maybe we were supposed to go to the main office in Room 364 as the sign said? Nope, we couldn t even make it to any Room 364. Was about to write a bad review but the young lady named Bailey (sp?) redeemed the visit because she 1. told us to come to the later show because we were too old to appreciate Big Bird 2. hosted the presentation with enthusiasm, even showing humor when the projectors glitched and froze a few times 3. helped my son with his homework after the show was over. Full stars to Bailey. Will bump this review to five stars if they do better for our next visit.

The planetarium is very nice. The seats are very nice and recline back quite a bit and are comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the show we watched (the northern lights) seemed like it was out of focus the whole time. I dont know if it was a resolution issue or not. We watched the dark side of the moon and the visuals were better, but the volume needed to be turned up about 300%. If the visuals are going to surround you then the sound should surround you as well. Overall, worth the price and would be excellent with a couple of adjustments.

This is nonsense and a waste of time. Science needs more visibility than 20 year old shuttle images and an introduction to astrology. Shame on you. Your hooks failed-

The only reason why I didnt give it 5 stars is because of the technical issues the dome was having, other than that, I enjoyed what they offer. The $8 admittance fee is adequate. Word from one of the guides is that new shows as well as the necessary adjustments are on the way. Looking forward to seeing these changes come to fruition.

Went today to the Spacepark 360 show. It was unprofessional and one of the most nauseating experiences I ve ever had. I love rollercoasters and I couldn t stomach this. Me, my cousins, and my mom (ages 5-45) kept our eyes closed the whole time before deciding to leave early. The intro to the show was also pretty lame and I usually love shows dealing with space. Honestly found it to be kind of a ripoff.

It was worth the $6 ticket. It was very informative and I loved when we got to see ALL the stars and constellations. It was magical. As far as the Pink Floyd show I would ve thought there d be better visuals or even a nice sound system. It was meh and I didn t write home about it. Update the visuals at least. I got a little vertigo at times but this is purely a personal problem. Tip: if you have tickets to multiple shows STAY PUT. Otherwise, you ll have to stand in a long line even though you were just in there. Tip: show up on time. Every time someone shows up they turn on the red lights by the wall totally disrupting the mood. Not cool Zeus. Not cool. Parking garage meter sucks because you have to be careful to adjust the time while paying, otherwise you re screwed. Overall, we had a nice time but it s not everything I dreamed it would be.

Snoooozefest. They didnt talk about the constellations or asteroid belt. Nothing about the North Star or how to find it. Nothing about any normal constellations, star clusters, only old world constellations that no one sees. The video they put on was all about the Earth. Yawwwwn. What is this Earth Science? You want to marvel kids? Show them how to find stars, what position they may be at during the seasons, etc. This was a school field trip too. I had to fight staying awake. The roller coaster ride is to show off the domes nice capabilities. How about more info on stars and planets. And also, try not to criticize kids so much.

Time I cant get back... 1. Refund my $12. 2. Buy a 4K projector, I know the university can afford it. 3. Why a new projector? Entire showing of Pink Floyds The Wall was poor-illuminated and tainted by either peripheral lighting or (more likely) a burned-in image of the universitys main entrance (used as a wallpaper in between shows; consider using a looped video). 4. Tonights host spoke WAY too fast and failed to project his voice into the microphone (most patrons first/only interaction/opinion of the university.). 5. The early 90s called; they want their lame imagery back. If David Gilmour / Roger Waters were in attendance, a stream of British-accented cursing would have ensued. The poor quality of the low-res imagery was an insult to music that has helped define a generation. 5. Clean (maybe replace) the carpet and seats; turn on a blacklight in there and the staining would look like a crime scene photo from the Manson murders. 6. The stars I provided were earned for the music content, though not the sound system quality, the 90s also asked you return that as well; Im sure someone like Mackie Audio or QSC Audio would spot you an awe-inspiring sound system in exchange for plastering their marcom everywhere.
