This place is a mess. In theater dining service was chaotic. They brought us the wrong orders twice & on top of that I had a pending charge on my card for double of what my final bill was for. I reached out to guest services and I have yet to be contacted back. Will definitely not return.

I went to go see the movie Twisters at 7:45 pm 8/4/2024 with my wife in theater number 3 and it smelled like straight BOOTYHOLE in there. I mean the smell lasted the entire movie. When we got done I asked several workers why it smelled like BOOTYHOLE and no one had a legit answer accept saying people been saying it stank in there for days. Not going back anytime soon.

I love that they updated the chairs and eating tables. Service is very quick and there are always more than enough staff for each theater. Movies here sound and look great! Food is good and there are lots of choices. Will always come back to this location for my favorite showings.

I ordered cheese fries with NO BACON as I am a Muslim and cannot eat bacon and I found so much bacon at the bottom of the bowl of fries as if they put it by mistake and didn t want to take it out. This made me disgusted with the meal being served. Secondly, they charged $17 in gratuity! I could have tipped the waiter but charging $17 is absolutely absurd.

Wont return. Seats uncomfortable and seem out of date. But primarily because they automatically take gratuity (tip) from your order. 10 bucks for us. This isnt a cruise ship people! Arent tips a way for us to say thank you to the service? But when its forced, that taints the water a lot. Your welcome for the forced tip but youve lost my future patronage. The staff was polite and respectful. I would have added a tip already. And I am more generous than 10 bucks. Enjoy it.

The places isnt very clean, dont even get me started with the picture quality and apparently they think they can tip themselves. When I got my receipt , they had already added gratuity. Im all about tipping if you truly deserve a tip, but Im not going to do it because society says I have to.

Went in today with my friend to watch Maxxxine. Off the bat, Shawntiera, was unfriendly and seemed like she was in a hurry. I shrugged it off, didn t think much of it. At the end when I was about to pay, my apple pay wasn t working. I told Shawntiera that it wasn t working because it was too dark in the theater and my apple pay wasn t able to scan my face and for whatever reason would not let me insert my passcode. My friend and I could tell she was getting irritated and annoyed, but it wasn t my fault? Through the one or two minute of her trying to process my payment through apple pay she was literally HUFFING! After many failed attempts i gave her my card so she could go process it else where. When i was given my receipt i saw that the tip was given to Shawntiera and not Zach, the employee who actually took my order and the only employee who was actually nice and had good customer service. As someone who works in the service industry, i don t understand how a tip was given to someone who didn t ring in the order???

So I m a studio movie grill fan but this location is horrible. First off the movie room I went in smelled bad, then I ordered a margarita with a patron shot on the side this young man brought back a whole picture of margarita ($15 more) with a patron shot in it.. so I said whatever I d just keep the big picture . Then I proceeded to order bone in wings and they brought me boneless at this point I was over it.. now I m sitting here with nothing to wipe my hands on (no napkins). It s safe to say the employees here don t have the good sense God gave them.. go to the other location!

If I could give it no stars , trust me I would. My daughter and I got to the movies, we ordered our food and drinks. We did get our drinks , but our food didnt come in. I waited for an hour, told them bout the food and said they were busy and bring it soon. Movie ended and food never showed up. Young girl asked me if i was paying cash or credit. I wasnt going to pay. Every body else did receive there foods. While my daughter and I didnt get ours. We were hungry. WILL NOT RETURN..

0 stars if possible. For the price you pay,not worth it. 10$ for popcorn that is leaking butter all over your kids,and unfriendly servers. They answer the call server with an unfriendly vibe acting like you re bothering them simply ordering one thing. The luxury recliners cushions and headrests are unbelievably ripped and need replacing and not to mention,STUFFED with peoples crumbs,and others trash. The movie theatre itself needs so much remodeling,and cleaning. The hallways smell like vomit,with humid and hot air greeting you on your trip out the theatre. Inside the theater,stinks,and it ridiculously humid and mosquitos flying around biting you during your movie?? Do you or your family a favor,Take your money elsewhere. Studio movie grill used to be excellent,now it s trash.

movie 1000/10 experience: 6/10 theater was warm, service was friendly but not worth the tip in my opinion. i was asked if i wanted my food to come out more towards the movie, then it came out almost 25 minutes after the movie started. (i also had to push the service button to ask about it) & my friends food came before the movie started. and then they gave us the wrong tickets. i was charged for her drinks, which is weird bc when i ordered my stuff you pay right then and there. pretty sure they do checks by seat numbers so i just find that weird.

The theater itself is okay. Not as clean as it probably should be, especially when you go super early. I just feel like there hasnt even been enough traffic for it to get dirty, so that just means its not being cleaned. My table was sticky and there was popcorn and food in my seat. My main issue is that they charge 18% gratuity automatically, no matter what you order. The people bringing the food out are slow and rude and they force you to pay gratuity for horrible service and still want a tip. Heres a tip...remove the gratuity or provide better service. I placed my order before the movie started and maybe 15 minutes before the movie ended, they brought our cold food out with an attitude like we did something wrong. I will only go to this theater if I dont feel like driving to a better theater and Ill starve before I ever order food from then again.

Terrible experience here. I never received my order , and nobody came and checked up on me. When i did press the button for assistance it took them over 30 minutes to actually come and ask me if i needed help . We had a family movie night at the location this past Tuesday to see BAD BOYS. The movie was great. The service we received was fast and friendly. However, we received and extra charge the following Thursday. We came with 15 people and half of us used our cards to purchase food and drinks on that Tuesday. We were charged for the food ordered and gratuity that night. Mind you the charges had already posted to our accounts, only to receive another debit for a different amount on that following Thursday. I felt like it was weird that they took my card out of the theater after I ordered to charge, but I figured that something was wrong with his hand held device. I tried to call and ask someone about these charges and did not get anyone. If you go, make sure you watch your accounts after purchases.

Silverware is DISGUSTING has food all on it doesnt look like they cleaned it!!!! Takes over 30 mins to get food and by the time u get it your half way through the movie and the food is cold . After spending $36 for 3 tickets to see Planet of the Apes, I paid $60 for 3 chicken strip meals. And not only was the food hard and cold, but mine didnt come until halfway through the movie. They charged me for 3 dipping sauces for each order (I never ordered extras), I had to ask for napkins and silverware and they added 10% gratuity...FOR WHAT? It was just 3 of us! I have since found Cinepolis in Euless. The food there was AMAZING and so was the service! Studio Movie Grill has gone DOWN hill. That food was definitely not worth $70 and the theater was freezing. Ill start off by saying I went in the afternoon, during the week when it wasnt busy. There were only a handful of people and the staff was very nice and attentive. However, the seats were disgusting with visible piles of food crumbs in between the leg portion of the recliner. So I didnt use the recliner bc the bottom of my dress was laying on top of all of the nastiness. I got the Southwest egg rolls which tasted ok but looked like they were from the night before. My fork for my meal was dirty and when I got a replacement fork, it was also dirty. I had to use my nieces fork that she got for her cheese fries. My power bowl had mostly brown lettuce and the chicken was dry so I picked through that. I wasnt able to eat the chicken without drinking the water. My daughter also said that the lettuce and tomatoes on her burger werent fresh either but the burger itself and the fries were good. Considering they charge an 18% gratuity and the total of the food came out to around $65, I dont think the price was worth what they served me. I wont be going back.

I went to see a movie with my family. This by far was the worse experience ever. We order a brownie sundae and the utensils were dirty. Called for service and manager came and was helpful to get resolved replaced food and new utensils. Even though at this point we had started to eat before noticing dirty. Then a new round of dessert came only to find the utensils were still dirty. Pressed the button again only to get a rude server when telling her what had happen. She said do you not want the food tried to explain not the food it s the utensils. I then said just take it! Never again! People check your utensils before you eat! Not sure why the server had an attitude. I was not upset about the food. Horrible experience on top y all force gratuity! Turn on your phone and check your utensils. I did not get picture first time but I did second time!

It was 104% today with index. I was looking forward to the new mad max saga, it was a good movie. The air condition is horrible inside the movie sit down area. Out in the halls it was alot cooler! Their servers are good for the most part, we met one with a not so good attitude! But I guess they are short staff because they dont bring napkins,and ketchup when you ask for it, they bring it when your finished eating. For the $100 for two people, tickets and food I can say its not worth it! Try A.M.C in Mesquite or the new one in Red Oak.I wished I would have.Next time we will.No more Studio! I think your time is over!! This place was better pre-Covid in their defense though.

I liked that i was able to order a draft beer at the bar on my way in. I took that to my seat in the theater. The seats in the theater i was in were worn and the seats didnt recline. Nonetheless, i got a good seat to watch the movie. The staff in the theater were attentive. Even though i didnt push the button to order something. I will be back in the future whenever i want to treat myself to a movie and a beer.

Customer service friendly, food was easy to order and came out promptly although it was only warm.. The 3 stars are for the lack of cleanliness. Floors are sticky, bathrooms need attention, one of our chairs was broken, all of the chairs and table tops needed cleaning. There werent that many people there, and we were the only ones in our theater at 4:30, so I dont see why it was that dirty.

It has been at about ten years since the last time I came to this theater but I went a couple weeks ago. The chairs are not that comfortable in my opinion. I understand they add the automatic gratuity for the in theater food order but my order took an extremely long time and I was second person in the theater and ordered before the movie but was last to receive. Everytime I go here it always takes forever for everything. I ordered my food before my friend and she got hers first. 20 minutes later I got mine. Why dont you provide napkins and silverware. Super weird lady at front desk. Talked gibberish at us with face mask in Dark Vador voice! She then decided to remove mask to commute effectively. I asked where if this theatre was a tavern so I could decide to get popcorn or order inside theatre. She gave me the weirdest look as if I m the one who can t speak American. Just when we thought the strange vibes were dead..as we were wondering around attempting to find our theatre room because we were not given directions for some odd reason, even with us being the only people in lobby. Went to see Bob Marley movie today. Literally 23 people in the theater, and ALL complained that it was extremely cold in the theater. I finally asked for the manager- white, chunky, blonde hair, he states nothing he can do. I tell him I will complain to corporate, he responds do you want their information ? Totally unprofessional and shouldn t be in that position. After spending $120 I should be comfortable watching my movie.

The Supervisor and employees are rude and disrespectful. They offered poor service and expect people to pay the gratituity fee. I asked if they could substitute the veggies with the wings for fries and the response I got was ...sorry but we dont do that and against policy. The Supervisor threatened to escort me out the theater for asking about the policy. Then after the movie I asked for them to take the gratituity fee because I felt they gave me poor service and called the police on me, supervisor was unprofessional and kept interrupting me claiming her and the staff tried to work with me. Please dont come to this establishment, they dont know how to treat paying customers and are rude and disrespectful.

Staff is horrible, I wait over 30 minutes for my food and it was cold as ice. When I asked for it to be remade the boy that came look dirty and smelled like @ss if I could I would give -5 stars the building smelled like feet and the staff look like they didn t want to be there I got my food thrown at me he came a drop it down on the table. Then when I asked to speak with a manager they took forever to come the this big guy looking like the kool aid man came up to say he can t do nothing for me the next day I had food poisoning I had to miss work overall this place needs to be SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY and needs a whole remodel with better service and staff with better food will never come here again unless there is change!!!

This movie grill is not the best place to enjoy food and drinks, waiters brought my food cold and brought my ticket in the dark. I don t recommend eating cold popcorn and cold food, charged for a bucket and asked for a pitcher.

The service was fine but the food has changed for the worse since my last visit a few years ago. Also, the restrooms were not clean and only cold water to wash your hands. Bring a blanket when you come, the A/C stays on blast all year round I guess.

Went there for the first time last night. I usually tip more and prefer to tip cash so the wait staff can report it or not. I was disappointed with automatic tipping. Next time I will use my AmEx card, tip cash, cross out the automatic tipping and write CASH. I love that AmEx makes the merchant prove the charge correct with a snapshot of the receipt. I refuse to be bullied by stupid policies. If they change my receipt back I will just dispute the tip portion and never come back. The contract that the merchant signs when they take AmEx provides many more protections like this thats why small businesses dont take it. It is not the fees.

I recently visited Studio Movie Grill Highlands and felt compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, it was far from satisfactory. The house margaritas were a major letdown; they seemed to be filled with excessive simple syrup and lacked any discernible tequila. Additionally, the Crispy Chicken Tenders I ordered were disappointingly hard, almost like rocks, and to my dismay, I woke up this morning with severe stomach pain after consuming them. The only redeeming factor was the movie Wonka, which I enjoyed. However, this positive aspect couldn t outweigh the overall disappointing experience with the food and drinks. Regrettably, based on my encounter, I cannot recommend this location. I hope this feedback contributes to improvements in the future.

I went to this location and will not be returning. I saw a movie on Sunday afternoon and the theater was dirty. There was trash and food spilled in the seats. I dont think they cleaned up before the next showing with the condition it was in. I asked the waitress if my seat could be cleaned because it was sticky (possibly from a spilled drink), and she was mad. I wouldnt have minded cleaning it myself. I saw that other people were rude to her, so maybe she was having a bad day. But, from then on, it took another 30 minutes for her to come back and take my order. I didnt get my food until an hour or so into the movie and didnt get my drink until towards the end. I ordered the Roze Rita, and it looked like the bottle that was put into the drink had its wrapper ripped off, but it was still closed. Isnt it supposed to be open? (So while you drink it the cup feels up). The food tasted good, but overall I had a bad experience. I just wanted to enjoy a day out because I havent been to the movies in a long time.

This is my 3rd time going to this theater. This is the first time Ive been very very disappointed. I loved the movie but when they delivered our food (we didnt receive napkins or silverware). We communicated to the waiter that we needed 2 sets of napkins and silverware. He returned with only one set. I was with my sister so I let her have that one thinking that he would return with another set for me. HE NEVER RETURNED! After sometime passed I pushed the red button on the table. BY THE WAY THE THEATER WAS PACKED SO THE SERVICE WAS SLOW! After sometime passed a waiter showed up....I asked for napkins and silverware. GUESS WHAT????? HE NEVER CAME BACK! WE HAD CHICKEN NACHOS, JALAPENOS and GUACAMOLE. HOW WAS I SUPPOSE TO EAT??? OH AND ANOTHER THING REMODEL THE BATHROOMS BY THE FRONT DOOR.. PLEASE!

Came here with my mother and her friends, during the day ($6.00 on Tuesdays), to see the Color Purple. The tickets were self pay and we were able to walk straight to the theater. The theater was pretty packed with people but we were able to find out seats quickly. The overall look of the theater is a little run down and you have to manually push the seat back for it to recline. The workers were efficient and fast with ordering, etc. I ordered a large popcorn ($8.50, no refills) and 2 drinks ($6 a piece) and our total came out to be approximately $23-25 due to the 18% they automatically add. The temperature in the theater was fine and we overall enjoyed the movie. I doubt I ll come back to this location and only came here due to being invited. By the way, the movie was great!

This was a very bad experience on Christmas Day Studio Movie Grill Highland at the Highlands my drink was watered down all the customers are complaining about their drinks I had a strange man to come up to me with a big box of popcorn that I didnt order he looked like he needed a bath Bahamas has oil in it Im just not happy but I know this movie The Color Purple that I came to see is going to be fantastic but as far as the food is concerned it sucks I give it two thumbs down! Also the Studio Movie Grill is dirty once I got to my Seat It was filthy it has some sort of dark chocolate looking stains on it I had to call and attended to clean my seat I dont know what is going on with this place but the customer service was terrible Everyone was having trouble with their drinks and their food orders all you heard during the movie was orders being Misconstrued drinks being sent back and people waiting on their food for over and hour I will never come back here ever again if you want to go and see a movie Dont go to the studio Movie Grill in the Highlands its filthy the customer service is terrible they need to shut it down and revamp Exclamation point

The place was dirty/dingy; Im not used to that since every Studio Movie Grill Ive ever been to has been clean and well kept. My seat in the theater was dirty; there was spilled soda on my seat, armrest, and table top. There was also trash in my cup holder. The seats were uncomfortable. The restroom was dirty. The staff member who took my order in the theater was either not listening to me or was incompetent. I definitely wont return to this location. Id rather travel further to any of the better locations.

The concept is great. Sit in a theatre and have people bring you food and drinks just like a restaraunt. Unfortunately management isnt very motivated to keep this business up. Not only do they keep the lights turned up way too high under the guise of safety for their staff, but the lights were actually broken in our auditorium and they were flashing every time there was a loud noise during the movie. Needless to say it ruined the whole experience. When I inquired about the lights, staff told me they had been that way for weeks and management had no interest in fixing them. So not only were they WAY brighter than safety justified, washing out the picture during every dark scene, but they were a constant distraction due to the fact that they were broken and nobody thought it would be better to just turn them off. This place is supposed to be a theatre with food, not a restaurant with movies in the background. That should be obvious to management but apparently theyre incredibly inept at their job. The plus side is that nobody is checking tickets, so you can just walk in without paying and watch movies all day.

Service was quick, we made it on time for our movie. My only problem was they were out of a lot for a premiere weekend i.e frozen margaritas and butter. Overall not a bad experience the restrooms were clean, and a woman complained about the restrooms not being child friendly. The food was really well prepared. Make sure you show up hungry the portions side were on a larger size.

Save you time and go to flix! Dirty bathrooms, bad service, bad management, over charge you for stuff you didnt get, never delivered food, you have to hit the light multiple times to get what you need. Never got our app. Brought the wrong ICE for my son and he didnt get until I asked 3 more times. Brought me wrong food. Guess what never got that until I asked multiple times. Checked our ticket and overcharged for multiple items we didnt order. Then never got a Togo box. Not worth a the Inconvenience. Made me miss alot of the movie. Sad thing is we spend over $200/ every 2 wks here but its gone way done hill.

My friend and I got there and sat at the back and it smelled like weed we had to change our seats to get away from that smell. Later on we placed an order and it took forever. The order was later cancelled and placed again causing a huge confusion on my credit card.
