i feel like i get this theater...its kind of old schooled and gives the feeling of it! i love the people who work in concession! girl with red hair and stitch plush, gives off manager vibes lol,i love it. the girl with makeup is so nice and pretty and so is her best friend! always laughing and smiling when i visit!

Plenty of parking spots, quality of the movie is good, seats are outdated, some are broken, sound quality is ok. Concessions have limited options and expensive. Arcade room is very small. Had to pay an extra $1.89 per ticket for buying online.

Compared to my hometown theater this is an enormous upgrade! The reclining seats, snack and drink options including adult beverages, and multiple bathroom locations. There was one unworking bathroom stall/toilet, but it still had 3 other stalls/toilets. Staff is friendly and helpful. The sound and screen makes it worth every cent!

Bought three tickets online to The Iron Claw and the lady at the podium was taking her minimum wage job way too seriously and told us all three of us had to show IDs. Every other theatre in town does not have that rule if at least one adult is present. Now we got a refund that won t be back into my account until a few days and I am very upset. Never coming back here again. You re taking your movie theater job way too seriously to not let an adult and two teens see a movie they already paid for.

Never go to this movie theater. If there was an option for zero stars that s what I would pick, most of the staff was very nice, besides the ticket guy JJ it s one thing to decline my business, but it s a whole another to be cussing at me infront of my siblings. I gave 3 s stars for 2 reasons. The seats were not very comfortable & the other reason is the ridiculous price for food & drink. 6 dollars for 1 tiny cup of soda. What a rip off to the public. Making a profit is more important than wanting repeat customers. When my income rises enough for me to not blink at spending $15 for 1 little tub of popcorn Ill go out to movies again.

Bought tickets for a special event Harry Potter series for me, my wife and daughter. It was supposed to show the final 2 movies. After playing the second to last movie they shut down the theatre and basically told us sucks to suck. We were very confused asking why they weren t playing the last movie and no one cared to figure it out or give us a solid answer. Also, right after the first movie ended my wife went to go purchase extra snacks and food for the next movie, they didnt refund the food or offer any help. Asked multiple people for solutions and no one seemed to care. Also the original seat we were suppose to be sitting in was broken, so we moved over and the one in front was broke and was lying backwards which made us keep running into it. Terribly uncomfortable. Will absolutely under no circumstances come back to this place.

So sad and disappointed in this place. It was the only place in town with seats available for Barbie this afternoon and I see why. The theater (#14) a/c must have been broken or off- it was so HOT in there! I thought going here would be a great nostalgia trip but it was severely uncomfortable. I was watching a movie with my girlfriend when all of a sudden the movie turned off we sat there for about 15 minutes before the movie restarted but this time there was no sound and the movie kept playing past the point when it first turned off turns out our theater wasnt the only one to experience the movie turning off everyone was getting refunds and we heard from other workers that the manager was just walking around not trying to help any of the customers some people got refunds some didnt we didnt get a refund for our food and drinks which we bought to enjoy the movie we didnt even touch the popcorn after like 10 minutes of the movie cuz it was stale same with our nachos chips were stale cheese wasnt hot the lady in the ticket window was nice though she really makes the theater look good she was the only nice and helpful employee there 6/04/23

This theater doesnt have reclining seats or very kind employees. The girls at the front desk were very short and snappy with us, and we asked to change seats because they told us that we could get out on row d, in theater 13 from the right side, and you could not. You have a bar blocking the right side, and we didnt want to walk around a bunch of other people to go to the rr. But, the lady in the ticket booth, was kind and she switched our tickets. Also, I thought the popcorn was stale tasting and the do not give refills like the other theaters, even if you pay 16$ for the metal tin !!!! That is ridiculous. The screens were good quality and the sound was nice, also the restrooms were clean, but they have signs saying they sanitize them every thirty minutes. We watched a 3 hour movie and they werent cleaned or sanitized once while we were there.

Worst seat in town is more like it. I don t understand why people would choose to watch a movie here if it s available at the other theaters in town. Unfortunately, this is the only theater that streams the Met Opera Live events. This is now the most outdated theater in Lubbock. Uncomfortable dated seating, rip-off concessions and they stopped offering the single free refills (every theater in town except Tinseltown and this one offer unlimited refills on soda/popcorn). DISGUSTING bathrooms, super strong urine smell and the trim is peeling off because there s so much urine over the walls and floors. There is only a single public restroom available for guests so it makes no sense that they can t do basic cleaning. (Other theaters have multiple guest restrooms and not a single one is as disgusting as the bathrooms at Movies 16) besides those issues, they just seem super lazy here. There is not a single auditorium that has a sign with what is currently playing. Every sign is a generic cinemark sign, and some of them aren t even properly inserted! Water fountains are dirty and are blocked off. Theater tech here is outdated as well, picture isn t very good and the sound system could use some work. Just seems like nobody cares here. If you re deciding if you want to watch a movie here, do yourself a favor and go to Premier Cinemas or Alamo. Price difference is negligible and you re likely to get better pricing elsewhere anyway because they run promotions.

Took my granddaughter to see the Mario Bros movie. Shes only 4, but she was excited to see it. Sad thing, the guy, working the counter, didnt wanna be there. His demeanor was deplorable. Cheaper tickets than other local theaters but theres a reason. On a Saturday at 1230pm went to a movie. Lobby empty and only one other group in our theater, but the place was dirty. The theater was freezing and I asked a guy if he could turn up heat, he looked at me and walked away. Temp never changed. Movie was fine no issues. Seats are meh. Cheap simple movie experience but for a few dollars more, Ill pick a more comfortable experience.

I have always gone here to see movies. The a.m. hours has the least people attend here. In the p.m. hours it is crowed. The staff were extremely friendly and profession. They carry the latest movie list. Parking is ample and wheelchair assessment is there. Prices there are reasonable and they do have specials in the food sections. It is very clean here. .

I wouldn t recommend this theater to my worst enemy. Popcorn was stale and cold. No butter was available due to shipping issues which is understandable. My biggest issue was that theater 6 was at least 85 degrees. My boyfriend went to ask them to turn the AC on and they nonchalantly said oh it doesn t work .it is 100 outside and you re selling tickets to a theater with no AC?? Make it make sense. We got our refund and left.

Went to a matinee on saturday. This price reasonably at $5 a ticket. Saw the new top gun Maverick movie. Good movie. Very pleasantly surprised! I drive up and down Marsha Sharp all the time but it looked like this place went the way of so many places... out of business. BUT!! They are just not nearly as popular as they should be! Theyve apparently changed things (remodeled?) the inside, but remain very old-school outside. Their prices are closer to what I remember in my teenage years: CHEAPER!!! And they know Exactly how much ice to put in a large, 44oz, paper cup to make the customer feel like they got their moneys worth! Great job, Cinemark!!!

Seats were very uncomfortable....reminded me of seats out of a Greyhound bus. Best part of the whole experience was the kind gentleman that took our tickets....he is the reason I gave 3 stars.
