If youre looking for a quirky, comfy, hole-in-the-wall bar that offers good, cheap drinks, then Caves Lounge is the place for you! Upon arriving there, (which is set behind another bar hidden in the back) it seemed a little questionable. As I entered the bar, I was struck with nostalgia from decades past. The decor was comprised of outdated furniture and carpet, and it actually felt as if I was in some sort of a cave! Lol Not that it was a bad thing, as a matter of fact, it had its unique charm and the atmosphere was very welcoming! I went on a Thursday night to do karaoke. There was a DJ beforehand and was very entertaining and played some great music. While waiting for karaoke to start, I had a couple of drinks, and I must say, for the low price, they were not watered down! The bar staff was very friendly and attentive. One small issue I did find was that the karaoke DJ was late and it took time to set up, therefore causing a delay to get started. Not that any of that hindered my overall karaoke experience! As the crowd grew and it became busier, I was still able to sing two songs before my departure. Overall, my time there was well spent, and I will frequent back in the near future.

It is a dive bar, off division. It is truly one of the best places to come and chill out. For that reason, I prefer Monday cult movie nights and Wednesday emo nights. Tuesday has trivia, and Thursday has karaoke. Friday-sunday is super crowded and loud, good if you like that, but I prefer the depth that quieter days allow. The music is great. Every album on the jukebox has some personality and bite to it. The drinks are cheap, the regulars are kind and loved, and the gossip you can hear is delicious, so treat your bartender well and keep an open mind! Theres a lot of sugar skulls and vintage Americana decor, and it reads as a little piece of Austin. Keep it weird, and theyll always have my business.

The guy checking IDs at the entrance cant do math. Im 21 but he said I was too young to get in. Refused to take a second look at my ID, even though everyone around him, total strangers walking looked at it and said yeah the id says Im 21,he refused to even glance at it a second time. Drove out an hour to see my friends band, to get turned away by someone who clearly failed math class, and couldnt even be bothered to take a second look to check himself. Aside from the terrible service, the place is ratty and falling apart, outside was disgusting. There was trash everywhere, and the handle on the door to get it was sticky. Would avoid this place at all cost, unless you are going to support a friend. Trash venue, even trashier employees.

Manager and employees get mad if you don t leave enough tip, get mad if someone you met that night starts throwing up and stop swerving everyone and kicked us out and if they have a problem they should address the person not the group and it wasn t even pack and staff was unprofessional

Ah, the worlds best dive bar, I love this arlington cozy classic, sometimes the drinks can be pricey, but really a very fun and affordable place. Be sure to come on kareoke night, thursdays! Parking: Be sure to show up before 9, parking gets hectic, the lot is gravel and full of holes in the back! Kid-friendliness: For 21 and up, no kids here!

My husband was over served and went to sign his tab. He signed it and forgot to write in a tip. When he turned around to wait for his brother the female bartenders started calling him disgusting names and yelling at him for not tipping on a bill less than $100. They were so rude and aggressive towards him and pretty much forced him to take the paper back and leave something. He was drunk and didn t really know what was going on. This place is disgusting! I have disputed the entire charge and will ensure that this place is not a stop we make ever. To many other great bars in the area. That behavior was atrocious. The sad part is the male bartender walking them out after that and apologizing that the female bar tenders were so awful.

Service is good. The bartenders are very nice and can make most of the drinks I request as well as some pretty good recommendations. The outdoors area is kind of unique and a good get away from the loud music on emo night. Music selection is good too if you are into some rock and alternative rock. Its a nice spot to kick back and have a drink with a friend.

Last night at emo night I had some drinks and water I never buy nothing from caves on Thursday night at karaoke night, but I was sitting behind my friends they were girls that they know me for a while now, I m hurt and disappointed about getting banned and the doorman s girlfriend saw me with the girl, I didn t do nothing wrong and doorman walked up to her and pull her to the side and talked to her outside of cave s Erik walked to me and tell me to get out your banned I didn t do nothing wrong I was just have great time last night,Last night I was with my cuzzo and I was hanging with 2 girls they know me for a while and cause the doorman s girl saw me sitting next to her then the bartender just banned me but I didn t anything wrong them girls were my friends me and her stay in the same place, I love cave s lounge karaoke night, emo night, y all got the best in me y all love me for who I am as a person and good people I need to stop make the guests for uncomfortable when they around me and make them like me again

Work was rain-cancelled after we all drove to Arlington, so we decided to grab a beer. First stop was someplace loud and boujie. We hopped over to Caves. I m in love! Low-key, cool comfy chairs, red lights, broken tile and other neat decor. Ultimate dive bar. Jukebox. Normal, reasonable beer prices. Fun Halloween decor. Even the ceiling is decorated. This would make a great movie set. And I hear there is an outdoor area I missed! Omg, can t wait to go back. We ll be back.

Soooo, this place was definitely for the younger crowd. I totally didnt read the app from Eventbrite. I got a couple of tickets for free, to come to Happy Hour Bingo. The ad stated there was going to be a dj and the happy hour drinks were from 7pm-9pm. So I googled the place and thought, okay...Ill go play bingo and have a couple of drinks. So I get there ready to get my bingo cards, ink bottles, etc....(bingo tools) I arrived at 7pm and it was not traditional bingo....it was MUSIC BINGO. So, I was a little disappointed...in myself for not reading the ad carefully.... I was ready to play traditional bingo. Anyhow, it turned out to be okay. I met the dj (dj cheap)...who was soooo friendly and nice. He was so patient and kind to have explained everything to me. This place is a cool little place for college kids to unwind and let loose. The bartender was nice ( josh..I think). I mentioned it was my first time there and he welcomed me and gave me a run down on the happy hour drinks. That part was great. There was a variety of drinks at really great prices. I had a beer-pint $4. The ambiance was nice outside. It was nice. I am 99.9% sure I wont be back. But I would definitely recommend it to the younger folks.
