I m not sure how long Shogun Hibachi and Sushi has been open, but I m really glad we found this place! The restaurant is clean, well-decorated, and the sushi was delicious. They don t have a traditional hibachi grill, but they do serve hibachi dishes that taste just as good. The staff was super friendly, and the service was fast when we visited on a Friday night. I definitely recommend trying it out!

Alright, so the Shogun was not a Hibachi I see from other Shoguns. You dont see the chef cook. The waitress constantly stood and stared at my wife and me. The fried rice was more like steamed rice. We both ordered stake and shrimp, but she wanted medium, and I wanted well done. We both got a dry flat stake, and the cuts were smaller than the bland shrimp! (Side note: At the other shogun, the shrimp and meat were about the same size and had more flavor). Also, the yum yum sauce is too watery. I dont typically like bashing a restaurant, but this experience had to be addressed.

The California rolls didn t have cream cheese in them. They were nice and the restaurant was clean but it was awkward ordering from the server and all our dishes came out at different times. I was able to finish my meal as the last dish for our table came out. It was kinda weird. We drove way out of our way for this place because the reviews but honestly the place right down the road is better food and the food comes out at the same time. Sorry guys.

This place is amazing. From the great quality of food being served. To the nice and calm atmosphere of the restaurant. Everyone has a great attitude with everyone that comes through the door. In the photo I have the 2 for 10.99 sushi(which comes with salad or soup. Both amazing). I like hot & spicy foods so I chose Spicy Crabmeat and Spicy Shrimp. It was delicious. I recommend this place 10/10. Dine in, Pick up or Delivery. Service has always been 100% perfect.

I came in by myself yesterday and really enjoyed the food. I got a bowl of hibachi soup or sometimes called clear soup. I also had the Philadelphia roll and salmon sashimi. Everything was neatly plated, fresh, and delicious! The sashimi was cold, the soup was warm. The waitress was really nice and the place was very clean. The best part was that it only cost me 18 bucks. I would come back here any time. Check it out!

The food was delicious. It has to be in my top hibachi places I ve tried since moving to the location. I ve always passed by it but never tried. Customer service was great. My only recommendation is that they provide less broccoli in the mixed veggies that comes on the hibachi dinners. Overall everything was good. I will be back.

Our chef was amazing, 2 different groups celebrating teen birthdays! He went over and beyond to entertain the table and show us a super fun time. He entertained us all with his broccoli tricks .. it s become so expensive to eat out these days but when the food and service are this outstanding it s worth it! Great family (and small child) friendly spot!! My little one is scared of the noise and commotion from the hibachi grill so this place is perfect AND the sushi is delicious. For my kid we got edamame, hibachi soup and a side of hibachi rice and she LOVED it - picky eater win. My husband and I got a few rolls - all delicious - and some sushi. The white fish and yellow tail are fresh and SO tasty. Definitely rivals a much more pricey fave of ours from our pre-child days in Dallas. The place is very clean, restroom especially, and the staff is so calm and friendly. Highly recommend!!

Wanted to try this place because of the reviews. Unfortunately having to broken legs I had to do takeout. Worst food ever. Everything was stuffed into one dish that was full of liquid. I ordered the steak and shrimp, only found 3shrimp after surching under the soggy soupy veggies. And the steak was so overcooked I was unable to chew. So it was a waste of $40. I dont like to complain but it was not eatible.

if I could I would give a 0. it was my first time here and last time. I spend over a hour it took a long time for waiter to bring salad and miso soup the drinks she didnt have to bring because my kids order the soda that was already bottle and i order a sweet tea that need sugar and I waited a long time for that. my daugter told me that she wanted water with lemon and the waiter Ignored her. so I asked her a second time and she brought it. meanwhile we kept seeing people come in and get served before us, and leave out with their orders as we waited patiently for are dinner that never came. she even brought other people refill of water and more plates of food never asking us if we would like water or refill as she kept passsing us by. we had to ask her. so I a young lady come in and order and again gets served before us. That was it for me I was done waiting. we still got charge for the miso soup and drinks with was $16.23 and the cashier lady apologies and gave us a california roll at no cost but it wasnt enough to feed all of us but the waiter was not sorry. my kids where hungry and it was late and a bad experience for us. This location actually looks bigger than what it is on the inside, BUT their kitchen is HUGE. Very clean, the customer service was exquisite. The presentation was KEY here. Its art, seriously it looks beautiful. I enjoyed my time eating here. While the fish was beautiful looking, the taste was not as appealing. 2/4 Sashimi slices were fantastic. Honestly theyre cut so thick I was not prepared for the amount of fish given! The 2 I disliked has a soapy taste. The Cali Roll was good, but I had to take out so much cucumber. While I did enjoy being here maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Im not usually on this side of town so Im not sure if I will be back to this location.

Great place, tried it last weekend. Very simple but comfortable setting if you re looking for a nice quite place to enjoy your meal. The sushi was fresh and amazing! A nicely done interior that feels like a hole-in-the-wall eatery. Quaint and quiet, room enough for a large gathering of no more than 50 assuming the restaurant is empty which it was at the time of my visit. All sushi rolls are made on the spot to order and expertly done Food: The Oceans Eleven roll is super yummy. 8 total pieces with some beautiful salmon topping the roll. The Naurto Roll is amazing and to die for The Crazy roll is a super delicious fried roll. Careful! Let it sit a bit before you eat else that roll my burn your tongue a bit (temperature wise I mean) Over all, super friendly professional mom and pop type staff. I would HIGHLY recommend. It was a good experience Small establishment. We ate at the dining room tables up front, but did not see any Habachi type tables in the place. Also, there is no sushi bar to sit at. We decided to order hot green tea, which came with a cup of hot water and tea bags... Yeah, kinda took away from the experience. To the Nagiri rolls. Chicken Tempura roll... Weird, chicken finger in a Nagiri roll, with cucumber and rice. Really fat rolls so be aware Shrimp Tempura roll was as expected, fried shrimp in with cucumber and rice , also a fat roll Spicy Salmon roll...minced salmon with a hot sauce, nice Philly roll, salmon with cream cheese and cucumber... Not my cup of tea Eel and Avocado roll, with a sweet sauce and cucumber. Very nice. Would I go back, no, there are other places in the area that will have a better atmosphere and options for seating.

This was a fantastic experience! There were many choices for non-sushi eaters, like my husband. He got the hibatchi chicken and stir-fried veggies, soup, and fried rice. He rarely raves about food, but he did about this food. I was craving sushi, so I got a delicious Hawaii roll that was fresh and delicious. The menu is huge, with food to please all ages. The service was polite and efficient. This one is on Matlock near Mansfield. The place was also very clean with server and cooks wearing masks. Please give them your business!

Shrimp tempura + Spicy crawfish roll + steak hibachi was good. Asked for medium rare and got well done. Their hibachi is not the one where you watch them cook in front of you since this is a small place. *not related to the one in Southlake*

They have a lot of selection when it comes to the sushi rolls but some rolls were very similar and most of their specialty rolls are fried. The quality of sushi is average. They also have hibachi but I didnt try it.

Theyve been here awhile, they disappeared from maps for some reason. Anyway, excellent sushi. My favorite. I like the hibachi too, but the sushi is definitely on point

This place is our new favorite takeout option! The nigiri and sushi rolls are delicious, fresh and flavorful every time. The staff consistently makes an extra effort to make sure your order is 100% correct. If you are a sushi lover in Arlington/Mansfield, you CANNOT miss this place!

Must try it!!! Recommend the hibachi entree. Try it with their special yumyum sauce. Theres a big difference with the yumyum sauce
