This restaurant is closed and advertising a for lease sign. My mother was bringing my kids and Inhere for burgers she said the people were very kind to her and the crawfish was great. Unfortunately I never got to experience. Please update this page before someone takes the long drive from Houston to come here.

Was great place. Food amazing. But they closed now unfortunately. He was trying his best, but the staff really never had clue luckily i ordered some thing so it helped. But then the prices got crazy before hurricane and now i guess they aren t going to reopen unfortunately

Update 8/1/24 I went by there today for lunch. My mind was set on the chicken salad sandwich. When I get there, the doors were locked. The note on the door read... The landlord has taken control. Im not sure what this means, just hoping they will open again. like this place! The people are so friendly. There is live music Friday and Saturday. Open Mic 1st Wednesday of each month. And, the bartender, Billy is pretty cool and very cute! The food is excellent! Parking: Lots of free parking

Well I guess I had high expectations for this place. We went on Sunday and my BF had the angel hair pasta with chicken and it looked liked that boxed spaghetti. There was tons of sauce and it just looked thrown together. The chicken wasnt grilled it looked like it was boiled. I had the shrimp tacos. They were decent but I expected medium sized shrimp and it was popcorn shrimp, the cheapest shrimp you can get.

Clancys is the best family owned restaurant in Richmond. Their food and atmosphere are great! They have private rooms if you need to host a big dinner or event. The owners are always giving back to the community. I highly recommend you check it out if you havent already.

I have been coming here off and on over the years, and I really feel like their food quality has declined. Today I ordered pulled pork sliders that came out in a puddle of grease. I also ordered shepherds pie that came out looking like soup covered with cheese, and tasted like it was microwaved. I truly hope they will be able to find their way, because this place used to be really great.

Talk about Texas size. This food was so wonderful and the staff was super awesome. For starters we had the fried cheese sticks which I was too hungry to get the pictures. So I had the 16 oz. steak and my friend had the chicken fried steak. For dessert we had the bread pudding with ice cream. Just make sure you come with a empty stomach but now you will leave with a full one. This new trip I enjoy the bacon jam burger. They also have a new dessert menu.

This is my go to spot in the area, they have burgers, shepherds pie, and pasta. They have great live music and a back area that can be open if the music gets too loud. Great beers and mixed drinks both classic and unique. The service is great and the staff are very friendly and always do their best to get whatever you need, within reason obviously.

I have eaten over the years at Clancys and have never had a bad experience whether inside the restaurant or pick-up. The food is always delicious and the portions are nice. My most recent interaction really went better than expected. My dad and stepmother were coming in town in January for a very late Christmas dinner with the family. There were 18 of us and my dad (a very picky person) wanted a place that had a party room where we could be secluded and where he could hear us (he has hearing aids). I called a few weeks in advance and discussed with Sean. He said no problem, we got this and he wasnt joking. When we showed up the party room was set up with the tables set up (2 people couldnt make it so was set up for 20). We had from ages 10 to 83. From the minute we got there the service was exceptional. Drinks were refilled or brought throughout the time we were there, appetizers came out early and the food was exceptional. Every single person had a very delicious food experience and that is difficult with a large group. We all had so much fun and if it hadnt been for Clancys, may not have been. My dad was so impressed he has called or texted me numerous times to thank me for organizing it and how much he loved the restaurant. So, this will be our go to place for any future gathering. Thanks to Clancys we had a wonderful night! Will definitely be back!!!

Went for dinner on the 21st of December after flying in from California. Food was excellent. Our waitress Amanda showed our family of 7 love. We liked her so much, we came back 5 days later and asked for her! (she wasnt there, but still got great service) We had 3 little ones with us and that can test anyones patience. We recently found this gem of a restaurant. Their menu is large any everything sounds good. Everything we had was perfect. Lots of beer on tap to choose from. The Astros playoff game was on and it was busy, but there was no lag in service. After they had live music that was a little loud for us but we had been seated right in front of the performer before we knew she would be playing. Everything was great. Definitely worth a visit.

Started off nice. Came to watch the Colorado game being that Im visiting. Closest place to my daughters house. 8 minutes left in game, commercial on, some guy walks over and turns the channel without considering the fact that someone may be watching. Now they have two TVs on with Notre Dame. Very disrespect and unprofessional to change the channel when you have a customer literally watching a game. Food was below average. I see now from a distance why he changed it because he is spending a lot of time speaking to a particular group of customers all white.

Back home in Texas and craving chicken fried steak!! The CFS at Clancy s is the bomb! Gravy has a wonderful smokehouse flavor. Green beans were cooked in onions and bacon. WOW!! This spot exceeded my expectations, can t wait to go back. The customer service from the moment I walked in was excellent. I sat at the bar and served by Billy (I think that was his name). He was friendly and attentive which made me feel comfortable because I was solo. I ordered the fried pickles, chicken fried chicken (best I ve ever had), and the pecan pie! Fantastic food and great brews. I highly recommend the fish/chips and chicken fried steak. Everything was fresh and delicious! Portion sizes where a bit large but thats ok cause it makes great leftovers! Check the hours before you go, they are closed on Mondays and open late on Tuesdays. Parking: On a bust night you may have to park in front of the neighboring businesses and walk but not too far.

I came in for my second time last night. I d love to come more but we don t live in the area. Yesterday, we came in for dinner and was greeted by a young lady with long brown hair, who sat us. Our server was young but he was attentive and the food was great, AS ALWAYS. But, leaving is what really impacted me! The same host stopped me on the way out to tell me I was beautiful! It may seemed like a simple compliment to her but she made my whole year so far! Simple kindness matters over everything! Keep it up.

I have lived in Fort Bend County for 26 years. Clancys has the best food I have ever had in all of Fort Bend County. The fish and chips are amazing and fresh. We needed a table for 7 at the last minute, and they put a couple of tables together to accommodate us. No wait. The holiday drinks were great, especially the holiday mule. The fried pickles tasted homemade with not too much batter. The pub salad was delicious, but we d been wanting fish n chips for awhile. The food and service was amazing! I was helped by Billy and the moment my wife and I walked in, he greeted with a smile and made sure we got taken care of immediately. The table wobbled a tiny bit but Billy immediately came and fixed it to stop the wobbling, without us even asking because he was paying attention to detail! I had the Dirty Bird and it was phenomenal oh my gosh! I highly recommend it because its so good. The food was so good I ordered another round of Waffles. Atmosphere is great, and i love the Irish pub vibe as it reminded be of the old Pubs back in my old neighborhood in New York. I definitely recommend eating brunch here and bringing friends and family to enjoy a good time!

Can not offer any reviews on the food but our first impression was not good. We live in the area so decided to give it a try. The hostess throw our menus on the table walked away with no eye contact and said enjoy. Now you probably saying what s the problem but you had to be there to feel the negative energy. Just lost a potential costume..

We ordered a chicken fried steak as I hv done before. This time the cook forgot about steak over cooked it and served it that way. The crust was hard and the meat was tough. They plated the sides 1st the steak late, the sides were cold. Unacceptable extremely disappointed. Took a friend for the 1st time and told them this is going to be the best and it was the worst. I looked so bad. Never again.
