What has happened to the Arlington location, we went in the restaurant at 7:45pm and the place was basically closed. The lights over the condiments were turned off and the serving line attendants were tuned out. My wife ordered a side salad and the lettuce was brown, my serving of green beans was slightly more than a toddler could eat. A year ago this place was 5 stars, now I will never return. Its really amazing how this restaurant could go down hill this much in such a short time, but it has.

I came in for a to go order on a Thursday and it was packed. The staff greeted me immediately, served me a comp beverage while awaiting my order, and even though they forgot to give me rolls I enjoyed my meal so much! Delicious BBQ. Sliced beef and baked potato all the way Fresh rolls every 15 minutes. So buttery and delicious. Cobbler and ice cream to top it off and complete the experience. Order at the counter. The fresh bread comes around every 10 to 15 minutes. The sauce is NOT vinegar based. It is sweet and Smokey. True Texas BBQ I live out of state but every time I am In town I have to make this one of my stops.

Arlington location whats going on... customer service has gone down the drain at this location. And quality of food. Young lady with dirty blonde hair working the register Tuesday night was extremely rude. Never paid us any mind, shouted out $46.38 ! as I am waiting for a to-go cup since the glass ones were so dirty with smudges all over them. Then she shouts it again, and I ask can I give my number for the rewards? She responds with Number?. Types it in, and asks if I would like to use one of BOGO coupons. I said yes please. She gives me the total of $25 and some change. Turns away for the 3rd time to talk to a coworker waiting to get her attention, I pay and the register opens and shes still chit chatting with her coworker and then slams it shut. She was about to throw away the receipts until I asked for it. Put an adult at the register please. This was very rude, I thought this was spring creek not McDonalds. Serving portions were terrible. Guy cutting the meat kept saying what ? as he couldnt hear us, while the other workers were chit chatting, one loading a to go plate and the other doing nothing right next to him. Ribs had no meat and were full of fat. I asked for BBQ sauce and it seemed like it was inconvenience for him to pour. However I do have some positives to say. The young man loading the to go plate was very nice and patient with giving me my sides. And the bread lady was very friendly and nice. Probably wont be back for the next few months when you get the new batch of hires when school starts.

I got sliced beef sandwich plate and got double mac and cheese and regretted it later as I could have gotten a baked potato but that was my fault not theirs. They has a nice lady that would come around every so often and offer bread. Drink refills are free you just have to get it yourself. We had coupons for free ribs and used them. Vegetarian options: My sister likes to eat healthy so she got a big salad bowl Kid-friendliness: My niece wanted to get her 3 year old a baked potato, but the only option was French fries. Otherwise, you can get smaller portions of anything else available. He got Mac and Cheese and Corn. He also has sausage and tried ribs his mom had and shared

I was having some work done on my car at discount tire. I decided to walk over for a bite to eat at Spring Creek BBQ. It was midday on a weekday and they were extremely slow. I approached and asked the gentleman for a kids meal, to which he quickly went to quoting policy and telling me I was not allowed to have it. he went on to tell me if he allows me to do it, then everyone else will too. Maybe, but if everyone else is ordering it, maybe you need to take another look at your portion sizes. I am strongly against wasting food, I am a small female with a small appetite. I m trying to spend money with you and not waste food. I simply went out the door, then came back in and placed a order to go sat down quietly to eat my food when another gentleman came over and began lecturing me telling me he was losing money. Actually, I paid $10.01 for this kids meal that I am eating quietly by myself in the corner. Without it, I would ve walked out with nothing. So I don t think you lost money, you just lost a customer due to the incredibly disrespectful and rude way I was treated in your restaurant. These people put on a weird facade of some kind of family/christian establishment, but don t be fooled. See below for a picture of my kids meal. It is more than enough food for me and all I want and still will not be able to finish it. Maybe try teaching empowerment to your leaders. Policies are simply guidelines and they should have the option to cheerfully adjust as needed for each customer. I seriously doubt very many people over the age of 12 years old even order a kids meal so I don t think this is a huge issue for spring Creek barbecue. Leaning solely on a policy is your greater issue. This experience was embarrassing and really turned me off of this place.- the cashier that took my order was the only good thing about this experience. She was friendly.

Hard to not give them a perfect rating. This location does everything right in my book. They always have impeccable service and the staff is very friendly. They quickly became a Sunday favorite of ours. You can tell that whoever manages/owns this place runs a tight ship and takes pride in the type of service they provide. The meat to highlight is the chicken. Their dessert could be improved by placing it on a bigger bowl as the ice cream melts it creates a mess that spills over the edge of the bowl.

First of all, I couldnt enjoy my meal due to the flies. As soon as we sat our food down, they jumped in our seats. The chopped beef was hard to chew. The meat was dried out. Its was more hard scraps, not chopped tender cuts. I asked to exchange it and the young lady wasnt happy. The sliced beef brisket was much better. The baked potato was very good.

Cafeteria type BBQ. Brisket and ribs were delicious. Their pulled pork is done with a mustard based sauce that tastes a little off to me. But everything else was good. They have a server that walks around with fresh rolls that are to die for. We had 5 adults and 2 kids and everyone was full when we left. We have also been to the Spring Creek Barbecue in Mansfield which is closer to where we live and just as yummy food. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly with several food options. First time here. Everyone was nice and respectful. The food was great. The pickle spears and jalapenos were fresh and crunchy and the onions too . I got the sliced brisket sandwich with pinto beans and macaroni and cheese and peach cobbler. Honey, that peach cobbler had the perfect amount of crust to peaches. A sista trying to lose weight and they want to offer peach cobbler, and its good? Dont do my like that Spring Creek Barbeque . Overall, great experience. I will be back.

I don t eat pork so it s hard to find BBQ places that sell other beef options besides brisket. I found this location that sells Beef ribs for weekends only and called to ensure they had beef ribs left. If you re looking for beef ribs, call first and make your way there! The sides: Mac & cheese, green beans (it was one tiny peace of bacon. I took it out), and potato salad is good. I love their beef ribs! It falls off the bone!! and their BBQ sauce. It s a little tangy and sweet so you get tangy in the beginning and sweet at the end. I had take out so I love that they give the little cups of BBQ sauce and then a bigger cup of sauce. That house bread whew!! Truly thank you! I will be back!!

We have loved spring creek since the 90s when I moved here. The Arlington store catered our wedding in 2004 even though we lived in mesquite! The service at this location is always great. Really great BBQ in a casual location. Food is served cafeteria style and the staff is more than willing to walk you through the process. A different kind of BBQ restaurant. Some folks like to go to the latest, trendy BBQ joint and stand in a line that goes around the block. It defines good BBQ for some. Spring Creek - Arlington is not that, so it will never be trendy. What they offer is consistently good food, a fun, clean venue with country music, awesome fresh-baked rolls and cobbler, served by a friendly well-trained staff. The BBQ is properly prepared and matches or exceeds the competition. Hours of operation are generous and consistent, and they offer a nice party room that you can reserve for events. Parking: The parking lot can be a little tight, but there are usually a few spots open. Kid-friendliness: This a family restaurant all the way.

My husband frequents this place because the BBQ had become pretty consistent. He was very disappointed in the ribs his last visit. He said they were so bad and had some sort of aftertaste. He said the rib was thin, and he thought they could be bad. He went back to let them know and was told it was some different ribs they were trying out. My husband told him that if they served that to people, they would have to shut down. They then offered him the regular ribs. They definitely should tell you if they are experimenting. An exceptional experience. The brisket we ordered was made to perfection, and I doubt if Ive tasted any better than this. The potato salad was to die for. Always nice staff! Love the energy of young adults who work there. Important to tip them also! I wish the restaurant could donate all the hot and delicious rolls that are thrown away almost daily! I only needed 1 dozen, but the baker was going to throw away all of this bread. So, I bought another dozen, and she gave me a box of 12. Although closing, I guess they have to bake whats left and then toss it away! I only wish that it could be donated to someone or an organization. Sad Besides, Sprng Creek is an outstanding place to eat. Thank you for taking the lead in demonstrating what good customer service looks like. Thanks also, for the coupons! Godspeed.

Spring Creek always has the best BBQ!!! Their fresh and hot rolls they keep passing out in baskets are the best!!!! Ordered the baby back rib dinner, it was pretty awesome!! Love going there!

Good food, friendly staff and casual atmosphere. The prices are not unreasonable for the different BBQ offerings, but cant say this would be my first choice for a cost effective family dinner. I find the sides they offer to be bland, but thats a personal preference. Given that this location frequently host fundraisers for the schools in the community, we dont mind the cost. Parking: Large lot with plenty of parking. Also had designated to-go and curbside spots. Kid-friendliness: Good food options for children such as smoked chicken or turkey, mac and cheese, baked potatoes or French fries. Plenty of dessert options and a casual atmosphere.
