A Tropical Escape in the Heart of Arlington! 4 Kahunas Tiki Lounge is hands down our favorite spot whenever we re in downtown Arlington. Located at the east end of Front Street, this place nails the tropical vibe with its incredible interior design. The atmosphere is both laid-back and professional, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly plus, they re dog friendly! We went last Friday and were blown away by the Halloween decorations that set the perfect festive mood. The drink selection is as creative as it gets, with unique, flavorful concoctions that keep us coming back. If you re in the area and looking for a fun, relaxing night out, 4 Kahunas is the place to be!

My friend and visited one night and the drinks were fun and interesting. The service was really nice, and they other customers and the bartender were nice to talk too! The ambiance is very cute, I love the decorations, including the garnishes for the drinks. Plus they have a doggie there.

This was one of the weirdest encounters. 6 of us walked in and went to a group of 3 empty tables and we were greeted with a list of rules, told not to move the tables, don t block the walk way don t do this or that etc. Really rubbed us the wrong way. As we were close to finishing our drinks we were asked to move so other people could have our tables.. We literally felt like we were just in the way and not too welcome! The place is cool & drinks were good but you should make your customers feel welcome.

I met two of the bartenders (the owner and general manager). They were both great to talk to and very knowledgeable. Their drinks were amazing as well. Its worth the extra drive versus settling with what Dallas has to offer in terms of tiki cocktails. Ill definitely be back.

This was our first time visiting this bar. No greetings while walking in, took a while to get served, actually had to wave someone down. Bartenders mostly stay behind the bar and don t check up on other guests aside from the ones who are actually sitting at the bar. Definitely won t be returning.

So this place is super cute and very intimate, which is a nice way to say small! The vibes are right though so I don t mind the connection. The first time I tried coming here it was packed so I m happy I came on a weekday because that experience would not have been enjoyable. That being said the ice cream machine was off that day so I had to opt for something else. It didn t really hit the spot for a $15 drink when the taco place next door had stronger frozen margaritas for $2 however it was cute! I probably wouldn t come back but grizzly the restaurant dog (? Not a concept I m okay with) was nice. He was also sick though as overheard due to the ~intimacy~ of the location. Parking: Parking depends on what time you go and day.

Stopped by 4 Kahunas during a brief stay in the area. When I walked in, I was greeted by someone who I later learned was one of the owner - super friendly and personable guy. I ordered a mai tai which may have been one of the best I ve ever had. Wasn t too sweet and was made with fresh squeezed juice and homemade orgeat. Also, had a painkiller which was equally as good and refreshing. The ambience was pretty cool too and hit on all the tiki vibes. Wish there were more places like this!

This is fun tiki bar. You can just hang out and chill. The bartender was fantastic and she has the coolest bar dog ever. Rambo was the best part of our visit. The Kahuna Cup was hands down our favorite. Mmmmm pineapple Dole Whip!!! You can get the drinks without rum (and they are just as tasty). This is a great, low stress time!!

Not couple friendly! We sat in a booth and were told to move bc it was just my husband and I. For such complicated drinks, there were not enough bartenders and the service was seriously lacking bc of it. We had one drink and left. If we could ve stayed in the booth we would ve likely drank more. This is fine for the college crowd or groups of more than 2, but for an evening out with your husband or boyfriend alone this is not the place!

Not the best for large groups, 5 or under is best. BUT. This is THE BEST Tiki bar in DFW. The drinks are phenomenal with house made syrups and fresh squeezed juices. Tiki enthusiasts and cocktail connoisseurs this is the best bar in DFW. They make all their own syrups which make the cocktails excellent. This is a classic tiki bar that serves hard hitting Mai Tais and Zombies. When I went one of the owners was in the back cooking the speciality syrups.

My partner in crime, JR and I, have been been binging tiki bars in the DFW area for a while, and this one raised the bar considerably. Great chill vibe, GREAT drinks, and the staff is amazing, Maggie was awesome! The co-owner JP, stopped and talked tiki with us for a while, terrific guy! We will definitely be back. Me and my Fiancé decided to drive from Denton to 4Kahunas today and it was perfect the bar staff was incredibly kind and made us feel welcome and even got to converse with the owner a bit (incredibly kind and charismatic ) and near the end my fiancé was able to lean to hula dance a bit. TLDR: Co-owner shoved me. Its a small space and all the stools were taken. I stood adjacent to the bar waiting for my group to finish as I dont drink. A guy about 3x my size crashed into me, and then told me that I was blocking the threshold to the bar. Honestly, the experience broke me since I was already going through a tough time, and then a stranger hit me because he felt like it. As someone who doesnt get the privilege of not being held accountable for their actions, I refrained from reacting, but J.P. People are already going through it. Be kind.

Monday night, had my own personal bartender that killed it. Maggie, hats off, you were wonderful and knowledgeable. Pearl Diver was perfect. Tiny place that is very humid & smells like sauna. My husband and I walked in and sat in the low chairs at the end of the bar where we were invisible for 10 mins + before someone greeted us or offer us a menu. We both order drinks, mine a house drinks, his a tonic water. My husband received his drink immediately. I sat there for over 10 AGAIN, waiting for my drink. When my husband mentioned to the bartender that I hadnt received my drink she got super snappy, claiming that no one told her my order even grumped at co workers. Never even apologizing.

Aweosme tiki bar hidden in downtown Arlington! Plenty of drinks to pick from. So much fun to go to. The decor is great and the bar tenders are too. If your lucky you can pet the friendly dog. I can t believe I m writing this right now, but I m that upset it feels like I should. I went to this place today to see how the vibe was. My 4 year old daughter with joining us on a much needed day off. As I opened the door a black lab (that was beautiful) came out and took my daughter out. I tried to stop it, I didn t know who s dog this was. I said is this dog ok to run outside!? , to which everyone just shrugged. After it jumped on top of my daughter, bringing her FACE FIRST to the ground and scraping her up, I was told that it s Chris the owners Dog, and he will back tomorrow . As my daughter had to be peeled bleeding off the ground, NOT ONE person apologized, came to check on her or anything at all. In fact, the general response was well Chris isn t here, so screw it? My daughter, now crying relentlessly, with bleeding arms and us in disbelief, immediately left. No leash. No accountability. No care for the damage my daughter had. What an utter disappointment. I never leave reviews but this is unbelievable.

Just found this place last night, A fabulous place to get away and have a relaxing, calming, terrific (one of a kind) drink, every time ! Either alone or with friends. Ok, I wanted to really like this place. Aesthetically it looks great and the atmosphere is relaxing, dim lighting, subtle Hawaiian/Caribbean music playing in the background, the setting was 10/10. However, when it came to the drinks It was a completely different story. A-lot of the drinks are made with darker liquors (navy strength rum, OFTD rum, etc) I guess I wasn t used to these types of rum but it was VERY overpowering and a lot of the drinks were nauseatingly sweet. I tried a drink and two shots and they all were just almost unbearable. If you LOVE rum and LOVE sweet cocktails/shots you d really like this place. Bartenders were all really cool and attentive, and made the time spent there fun, but would I be returning? No

Awesome place. Even when its busy the people behind the bar are so friendly and make awesome tiki drinks! Cant remember his, but Ive spoken to the bar manger every time ive gone in and hes an awesome guy and one of the best/funniest bartenders ive met. One of my favorite bars Ive ever been to!

Smaller, more intimate feeling cocktail bar that is exceptionally decorated to fit the tiki theme. The cocktails themselves are works of art on top of being delicious with a heavy handed pour. Youre definitely getting your moneys worth here. Highly recommend the Headhunter.

The place is very cute. Tiki themed inside. Intimate tables, dark lighting and themed drinks. Only bad thing is how small it is. They do have 2 or 3 tables to sit outside. The location is kind of hidden in the back of where the GPS told me to go.

Definitely recommend! This is small, dark, laid-back and very causal spot. Seating is cozy choose from booths, tables, or at the bar. Take note that food isn t the offering here, but specially drinks most certainly are; the range of them is wide, and they re decorative or simple (and everything in between). Also of importance is that the staff was beyond attentive and friendly, given the divey-nature of the bar. This one is a place we ll most certainly visit again, and for anyone in the area, I recommend the same. There is ample free parking and there are numerous other establishments within easy walking distance.

4 Kahunas is wonderful Tiki Lounge right in the heart of the Arlington, Texas! The combination of amazing craft cocktails in a well designed and decorated environment gives you the feeling that you are no longer in Texas. The staff here are very kind, have outstanding recommendations, and seem to love what they do (we personally love Kass and Kris). This place has grown to be one of our favorite Bars in Arlington that just happens to serve the BEST TIKI COCKTAILS you can get in the Metroplex. I personal recommend the Kahuna Hurricane and my fiancé love the Suffering Siren. Hope to see you there one day!
