Really fun place but new changes arent doing it any justice and still a lot of broken games. This could be another case of growing too fast but the recent changes have made us change our plans. The new food options are over priced compared to the serving and quality. They dont have chicken tenders on the kids menu anymore so I had to order them off the main menu for my daughter. Normally this isnt a problem but when I got them they were really just two fried chicken breast that you would find in a typical sandwich and at $13 you would expect something a little closer to the description. The kids and normally quesadilla were just down right awful. The kids has some kind of peppers in it and for those of us who have kids......if you know you know. Proportions were small compared to the price you will find at similar establishments. The upside is that the staff is great at the bar. Most of the other staff is too but the last couple of trips we ran into some rather know it all employees with omnipotence gleaming through. For example, we visit once to two times a month. We normally buy the $100.00 package and then split it up into 4 cards with uneven amounts depending on who plays more and who plays less. This last visit, an employee told me thats not possible, that it must be an even split. After some debate, she finally said fine but then I have to do it the hard way. Whoa, not the hard way ...it took all of 3 min to complete the transaction.

HUGE Shout Out to Devin! Ive been coming to this location for the past 3 years now and Ive seen a lot of faces come through this place (employee wise) there have been good ones and bad ones. Devin at the front is by far one of the best that Ive met :) Shes so cool, SO helpful and patient! Pinballz do right by her and dont lose people like Devin!

Weve been coming here for years, have certainly spent $1000s. Its become so expensive lately be prepared to spend big money. Claw machine? $2.5 per drop. $25 value toy off amazon? Thatll cost you 20,000 tickets here. Good luck. Most of the pinball machines we play are broken. Really unacceptable for a pinball place - and thats not new, half the machines weve played the last few years have broken paddles or just dont work properly. At least those are only $1 to play. The food is ok but $17 for a plain chicken quesadilla with no sides is crazy. Ask for the $4 beer can specials. Thats the best part of this place these days, unfortunately.

This place used to be good. They dont take care of their games as much anymore. I asked if someone at the bar if they could get somene to fix a machine but no one showed up. Street Fighter 3 Third Strike was covered in something sticky and affected several buttons. Viper Phase 1 just takes your tokens. The screens colors are also messed up. Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting also had sticky and buttons & stick issues as well. I understand its hard to keep up a barcade, but asking for someone to fix a machine around 2:30pm when theres not a lot of people there and never getting help is saddening.

Pinballz Lake Creek is a fun place to burn some time if you are alright with occasionally catastrophic customer service. I visited on a Sunday evening and stayed until close with some friends from MT on our first time there. We were playing and drinking from about 8:30 pm until close at 11. We each spent about $50+ on each of our cards (5 of us total), not including the drinks. The closing hour is a little early, to me, and only had a chance to do one attraction , but it was thoroughly enjoyable! The staff who helped with drinks and a couple of red shirts who I talked with were great help and friendly. Unfortunately, we managed to miss the intercom calls of when it was last chance to redeem tickets and when it closed. As the place began to close, one of the people in my group asked to redeem some tickets after it had just ended redemptions and was treated terribly by the staff member. Even in the wrong, there was zero professionalism in the way the situation was handled. There was eye-rolling, arguing, and other condescending remarks. My friend was very nice about requesting help redeeming if it were at all possible to still have the chance to get some things since they wouldn t be able to come back tomorrow due to flying out the next morning early. One man walked in after close and the manager working the ticket redemptions yelled to him, Dude, we re closed, can t you see that? Then, upon leaving and the lights beginning to turn off, there were about 3 red shirt employees walking towards us, near the exit. One of the girls began shouting things like, kick them out! and get them out of here as we were already headed on our way out anyway. Not a great thing to hear as a well-paying customer. Overall, having worked in customer service for years, I usually expect a bit more from places when it comes to customer service, but the last few people we worked with were embarrassing and abyssal to experience. The venue is amazing and we all had an amazing time spending money and creating memories, but unfortunately, it didn t have that cherry on top. Plenty of variety and games for anyone to enjoy! Great time to spend the night, just don t hang around until near closing time or be prepared to get barked at and treated like trash otherwise.

3 stars seems generous. IMO- theyve spread themselves too thin. The entire place seems unclean. A SOLID third of the games dont work or simply take your money without starting. Every time a game doesnt start, you have to walk all the way to the front and stand in line to get the credits back on your card. What is it worth to walk up front? $2, $3, $4 each game, you blow it off a couple of times at first. But it starts happening so frequently, you cant just let it go. You have to keep going back and forth from the games back to the front desk. Its like getting in your daily steps trying to avoid being ripped off.

Love Pinballs. Started going to them on the research store. $4.00 for a fountain drink . Come on. The drinks literally cost less than $.50. Getting the kids fountain drinks while playing games, and yes we adults are drinking the adult Bevs. $4 for my kids fountain drink. Laughable and stupid. Be reasonable yall. Dont follow suit with the movie theaters. Its tough enough for families to take the kids out and have a good time and be able to afford it.

My family visited this establishment a couple of weeks ago for my grandson s 10th birthday. Such a cool place to hang out at especially on a hot day. Well, my grandson and his two buddies enjoyed themselves very much so as did us adults. The staff there was amazing and the head chef/ kitchen manager Jake was very professional, genuine, and just overall a pleasure to interact with. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were all enjoying ourselves, and that everything we ordered was to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this place to anyone of any age because you no doubt would have a blast here. Big kudos to Jake and he definitely deserves a raise!

If i could i would have give it a zero star - in one of their rides omni arena they did not fastened my belt (which only they control) and when the ride started i fell down on my face and hurted my knee and elbows. And it happened today only on aug 3rd 2024. So irresponsible of them to not take care of their customers and hurting them.

I cannot believe the audacity of the employee and the manager standing right next to him in this picture/video below at PinBallz LakeCreek location. Took my daughter to pinballs for the first time and when we got there, she was bleeding from a scratch on her arm that she had picked . I simply asked for Band-Aid from the gentleman in the picture and this seemed like the biggest ask in the world. Facial expression, mannerism, and attitude towards me and my daughter were extreamly awful while she was actively bleeding from her arm onto the floor. Then pointed and said no Band-Aids but there s a restroom behind you as if I knew they were there. My daughter went to the restroom to get a paper towel. I asked if there was a manager I could speak to that could help me find a Band-Aid in this entertainment facility that I would assume has a first aid kit just in case anyone got hurt, especially on maybe a go kart or cut themselves on an axe. After I started telling the manager about the employee s attitude. Said employee began to defend himself in front of children and other people around the entrances. Keep in mind we had just arrived. He was being aggressive so I had to take a picture to remember this guy later because I was with my daughter and wanted her to have a good time and move on. When I took a picture the first time he was upset and so I had to take the second one because he was showing me great hospitality as shown in the pic. The Manager still left him there and did absolutely nothing and there were a ton of kids around. I don t know about everyone else, but I would not like my children around with someone throwing profanity signs all around, especially in an establishment that I am paying for the entertainment. Against my best decisions, I decided to move on and purchase over $100 worth of play cards for me and the kiddo to have fun . After the first game she played, the manager approached me and inform me we had to leave because of the interaction . never in my life have I been treated like this when I was disrespected in front of my own kid as well as others around her while the establishment has done nothing. In order to refund me; Curtis the manager brought me to the front desk, right where the interaction happened with the employees still up at the front. He had again decided to show great hospitality while I was getting refunded and continue to throw derogatory gestures while still in front of kids. Wild. I am posting to spread awareness and will not be returning to any pinballz locations unfortunately. If I was in the wrong, I ll own about it, but I do not think I was in the wrong at all for asking for a Band-Aid and apparently bothering this employee while my child was bleeding on their floor. Update: I went a second time with some friends, and besides my original comment about the kids play area needing work (which makes sense, kids can be really rough on the equipment), the rest of Pinballz is really fun. The food is surprisingly great, the staff are all really nice and willing to help out, and the more adult games are well maintained.

I remember the original location being reasonably priced, but youre looking at a dollar or more on 1 play of Pinball, which immediately leaves a getting ripped off taste in your mouth. Drinks are expensive too. For arcades, I think well stick to Cidercade or the OG Pinballz for the much better prices. BYOL.

Came here with 3 year old daughter on Fathers Day as they had a scavenger hunt. It was themed for Bluey, which is great as my daughter loves the show. Bluey and Bingo characters were there, which she loved. Unfortunately, the scavenger hunt was a huge letdown. The age group was 3-5. There were way too many kids in the room, and they even let bigger kids with wrong colored wristbands in which looked to be bigger siblings. They dominated the scavenger hunt and walked away with a bag FILLED with eggs. My daughter walked away with the bare minimum of 1 coloring book, which was guaranteed upon entry. Thankfully, my 3 year old wasnt upset. However, there were several other younger kids that were crying their eyes out because they didnt get a single thing. The Pinballz venue itself is pretty neat, but we will NOT be coming back here again. *update - I was asked to email them directly, which I did, I have yet to get a response back.

I recently used Pinballz Lake Creek as the reception venue for a wedding I planned this past spring. Let me tell you, they were INCREDIBLE to work with. They were super accommodating, very helpful onsite, and really went above and beyond on the night of. The bar team was on point and I had a lovely time interacting with venue managers. The management at this place , was very unprofessional and very non chalant. Me , my mother and my siblings, who are all minors , were in a go cart race with 2 other adult males , that had been drinking , and the staff knew they were intoxicated. They rammed into my 3 sisters and my mom and my brother , being competitive and under the influence. They were way out of line, even an employee had to warn them twice to stop what they were doing but none of the staff or management , cared to try to assess the situation. This is unacceptable, per your posting , it is PINBALLZ responsibility to keep an eye of individuals who are under the influence and to refrain them from operating rides that could cause bodily harm to others . You all did not do that. My mom has a bruise on her leg from where they rammed into her with their go cart. UNACCEPTABLE. Then the manager just brushed it off as if it wasnt a big deal ? Dont make me go to corporate and make sure yalls policies get redirected. If it was your family member, you would see it through someone is held accountable.

Specifically both the VR games and the miniball bowling. But the everyone was very nice and helpful. We got a refund for the VR game that didnt work. All in all, it was a great time.

This place is awesome, very big arcade with a ton of other things to do! We did laser tag and go karts and I thought they were pretty fairly priced some go-karts want to charge an arm and a leg, 13 a person doesnt feel too bad to me. The bartender was awesome and didnt charge me for a soda after I was super thirsty from laser tag.

I remembered why I typically avoid coming here for hangouts. I prefer Pinstack for a good value in games + activities. I have never run out of points/tokens on a Pinstack card, but I am out of funds at Pinballz within like 30 minutes We paid for axe throwing to try an activity and they legit walkied our assistant to leave us in the middle of our game that was a timed experience. I would say the activities are the better option than the games because the games are way too expensive.

Edit: This place isnt as fun as it used to be. The coin pusher games are rigged so you cant complete a card set for a bonus. For example; Darkseid is the rare card in the DC coin pusher and it is always on top of the stack or off to the side out of play. The shooting games are terribly inaccurate. Frequently games take your money and then dont work. Old review: My family and I love coming here. My only complaint is that they wont do anything to reset the coin pusher games when they become un-winnable.

Today I visited pinballz for a routine date with my partner. While playing the Trolls game near the bar, one of the pieces (300 tickets) was caught on its side when it landed in the winning spot. When I tried to turn it upright with another piece (1000 tickets) and it failed, I called over Thomas, who was kind and quick to help us. he gave us the full amount of the tickets (1300 total). i expected assistance and received excellence. give this man a raise!

Went to Pinballz for our son s 13th birthday party and it was such an incredible experience for the whole family!!! Completely blew our kids minds better than any other arcade we ve been to in the area!!! All the staff were amazing with positive attitudes which is very rare these days I was so impressed with the amount of games they had including all the fun arcade games I use to play as a kid!! The indoor racing track was an absolute blast and the kids had so much fun!!! We even had the pleasure of meeting Chef Jacob at the Whiskey bar while he served us our dinner the food was amazing and you could tell he was very passionate about his craft!!! He took the time out of his busy schedule to converse with us and it was a very genuine and uplifting conversation that as we were walk out we thought what an awesome night and we are definitely looking forward to coming back again!!

I couldn t have asked for a better Saturday outting with my girlfriend and our 2 kids. This place was even better than I even hoped for great 3D interactive theatre, bowling, laser tag, go karts, and nostalgic arcade games of Pac-Man and Galaga. The whiskey bar was beyond impressive, and even the common menu items of pepperoni pizza and chicken quesadilla were the best I ve ever had prepared by Chef Jacob himself who even came out and greeted us and bantered with us. Absolutely recommend this for anybody looking to have a fun family day with the kids, or even have a delicious dinner and drinks at the whiskey bar and enjoy a game. 10 stars, kids thanked us repeatedly on the way out and will be definitely going back again!

We had an amazing birthday experience for our 7 year old daughter. Everything from booking to ordering food was simple and easy. Our hostess was attentive and kind. We even had a personal appearance from the chef! Chef Jacob was so sweet to our daughter who happily gave him high fives. We could tell that he was personally checking the quality of food prior to serving to us and made sure everything was up to our standards. The food was hot, fresh and cooked the way it should be. Chef Jacob was definitely the cherry on top that made us feel important and special, most importantly he made our daughter feel special on her birthday. We went to Pinballz using our Pogo Pass expecting to just do a game of laser tag, but OMG! This place is HUGE! Not only did we get our free game of laser tag but then we raced the indoor go karts, played mini bowling, did some axe throwing and played video games for the next 3 hours!! We didn t even do everything they offer. We were all pleasantly surprised. I had no idea they had so many activities all in one place. Oh and their food was good too. They have a kitchen and bar right in the middle of it all! If you re looking for a fun place to go that s air conditioned also, this is our #1 spot!

They do offer alot Ax throwing, a small Bumper Car ,Go Karts mid size,Escape Room,Mini bowling Food and a Adult Bar..Fun my visit was just OK .There is a good verity of ticket and prize machines ,coin pushers ,sket ball ,basket ball / connect 4 ..I saw lots of unique machines in that category.Arcade takes tokens a mix of card n coin odd.Pinball use a reloadable card. The Pinball well this is what I came for and 5 machines card reader not working, 2 machines malfunction lost ball walked past over and over again by staff ,2 had a defective flipper,3 had ball launch issues 1 machine doubled launched a ball at random not in multiball mode. I ran out of balls on 1 in multiball ,SO 20% of pinball needs repairs ..The name says Pinball Z and that is the least cared for games..90min drive again not anytime soon

Plenty of old school games to take you back, lots of new! They give cards to auto load with money & any tickets earned save to your card instead of having to lose the paper ones or get them stolen. Lazer tag, VR, bummer cars an go karts! Drinks & food taste awesome too! They are super busy for May the 4th due to the Greater Austin Comicon, so plan accordingly!

I like the other pinballz original location better because there are more arcade games that actually work and its cheaper to play there. The go karts were super fun, very well-kept and nice track. We purchased tickets to the laser maze but the lasers didnt even work, so it was over in one minute. I wish there had been an attendant there to help explain it too.

Dont come expecting go karts right away either you have to reserve a time slot. Came to bowl and its mini bowling. Just go someplace else. Not worth it couldnt do anything but play arcade games.

Rats Rats Rats!!! Full of rats in the kitchen. I was so disgusted.. even bringing it up to the staff they said they knew about the issue and were waiting for owners to fix it the mangers asked us to leave cause we told others eating that the kitchen and bar area had rats running through it. My family and I have been here many times and have always had a great time! The games are always running and in great shape. The food and bar is good as well. Of you want to do the go carts there is usual and hour or more wait for the weekends. But there are plenty of things to do while you wait. Our only complaint would be that they ask for a ton of tickets for simple little prizes. Otherwise its nonstop fun! We have brought our kids from ages 6 to our oldest kids in their early 20s and recommend Pinballz for anyone looking to have fun!

Creepy management harassed our group by claiming our tails were attached to us by being inserted into our bodies (I cant say the exact term they used or this review wont show up). Always a fun time at pinballs. Food is some times hit or miss depending on how busy it is or whos cooking. Bartenders are and staff are always as helpful as they can be. I do wish a bit more care to the games was taken for repairs, I dont know about anyone else but putting money in a game that isnt full working just makes me mad, I know humans are ruthless but could be improved on the quality of experience especially when I come back moths later and the same issue is occurring on a game. Original or lake creek enjoy them both. In the 80s it was a quarter in the late 90s it became 50c to 1 dollar so Id say prices are on par for the times. Sadly Pinballz seems to have dropped a long way from years ago as their expansion continues. Many of the games I tried were only partially functional and their issues seem perpetual -- Dragons Lair II has not had a functioning direction on the joystick for years, making the game 100% unplayable. Machines are reported, turned off briefly, and turned on later with the same issues remaining. Air hockey doesnt keep score correctly, mini bowlings sensors are inconsistent, and games often take money without correctly crediting a play. In the name of keeping parts original and authentic, time has broken down these machines and its hit or miss whether youll even get a proper games worth. With the new card system, game prices continue to skyrocket. $1.25 for Skeeball, $2.50 for a 5 year old shooter, $5 for a 2 player game of Connect Four thats not likely to last past three minutes. As well, extra nickels and dimes will be tacked onto machines seemingly at random -- I think $1.55 is the most bizarre price Ive ever been charged for an arcade game. There is technically a rewards system that somewhat reduces prices, but requires no joke a $1,000 investment, either at once or over time. Employees were fairly uneven service wise -- floor attendants would occasionally check in as you pass by their booths, and the bartenders were pleasant, but both game counter attendants I spoke with seemed completely checked out and unaware of someone standing directly in front of them. Overall, 2020s Pinballz gives me vibes of the worst of old Gattiland, and its difficult to recommend as anything but an idle curiosity or a one-visit time capsule. Its hard to be optimistic about change when I encounter the same issues for years.

This is.by far the superior Pinballz. We had a blast with all of the games, the race cars, the pool, the laser game, and 100% laser tag was the winner. I had the most AMAZING time at pinballz!! I ve been going here for a long time and have always enjoyed it, it s clean, it s HUGE, and everyone working there is so incredibly sweet and understanding, but today knocked it out of the park!! The staff was really kind and helpful, The games range from things for kids to games for adults which means everyone can have a great time! The only downside I experienced was a ball getting stuck in a pinball machine, which the staff gave me a refund for which is really nice of them and they took the time to fix the game then and there. Went to Pinballz on 11/11, first time going. They do have a lot of interesting games including a lot of older cabinets that are still coin operated. Unfortunately, a good quarter of the machines we used had some defect. This included the left bumper on the Dracula machine being stuck, left gun on time crisis 4 not working, Tron machine eating quarters, House of the Dead 4 audio not working, some pirate shooter s far left gun not being able to aim up or down. Few others I am forgetting that just ate quarters or didn t function. It s a shame as the place was cool, but probably wouldn t want to go back and chance it again. Having various machines end in weird denominations like 1.65$ for one play really makes spending a hassle as things aren t consistent and you ll end up with an odd amount left.

I am a frequent visitor to Pinballz, and tonight I brought my lovely wife along with me for a date night. We had an amazing time! All the pins were in great working order (we snagged some lingering free plays). The food and drinks were great. We had an issue with one machine, but a staff member, Mr. Big Al, helped us remedy the issue. The staff is amazing and accomodating, the games and pins were so much fun, and the bumper cars had me smiling until my face hurt. I definitely didnt lose to my wife at mostly every competitive game. I will definitely be returning the next time my wife and I have a night out. Pinballz is the most fun Ive had in Austin, and I highly recommend visiting. 10/10 you gotta go.

It was ehhh I don t think I would go back again we had some fun but we had got a $20 card and we blew through it less than a hour the games were to high the only good thing we got to play a few pinball games for free.

Solid bar food, great selection of games (over priced as almost all arcades are but reasonable for the current market), lots of extra things beyond games.
