Jodie did an amazing cover up for me. Him and his wife were good vibes at the shop. I enjoyed my time. Its a family business so I got to meet the kids. I absolutely respect their way of making the businesses family friendly. I was educated on the care for my tattoo and Jodie followed up to make sure I was following instructions.

This shop is beautiful inside. The owner is awesome. My 13 yr old came home from school with his nose pierced by a classmate. I rushed him up there to see if they could do anything and they saved the day and my sons face, lol. So if youre looking for some fresh ink or a new piercing,, (with parents permission if under 18) then definitely hit this place up. They are also super chill and funny.

He was very informative and professional I only rate it three because later on when I got my nose piercing caught on my pillow while I slept I yanked while turning blissfully unaware which was my fault and it tore a little and bled so I decided to take it out and try again some other time which is also my fault and my own choice the problem came when I was trying to take the jewelry off it was screwed on so tight no one could get it off and it had to be cut off and this next part may just be my fault because my memory sucks but we also found out I had an allergic reaction to the jewelry (I was unaware of until it was cut and taken out but I knew I had an allergy/sensitivity to specific metals) and Idk if I was unaware or forgot but the jewelry wasnt medical grade it was just coated I dont remember being offered options of what kind of jewelry which couldve been my fault once again but those are my only bad things i have to say once again he was very professional and informative and soft spoken *Edit we had a discussion about the piercing and was assure it was medical grade and he offered solutions which I declined due to just wanting to heal from when I yanked it very helpful

Cleanliness: It was clean and I got my Tragus pierced not to long ago but I love my piercings the staff was amazing and the owner himself did my piercing n the wife was also amazing and I m glad I went it was great customer service explained every thing to me and I is very nice I will be going back for my next tragus piercing!!

The customer service was absolutely amazing, Jodi really did make me feel safe and welcomed. I got my dermals taken out and they were pretty painless. Even offered to take out both for only 50 dollars. I will definitely be coming back for more piercings! The lady with him was very nice as well, didn t catch her name but I loved the overall experience here. They really do know what they re doing. 10/10

my friend and I were so scared to get our tongue pierced & they were the absolute best. Talked to us through the whole thing. Made sure we were comfortable! & the piercing turned out so cute. They even gave us cups of ice for the swelling. 10/10 recommend

Jodi and his wife Ashley s child kept coming up while I was being tattooed and grabbing the apprentices arm and they said nothing to their child. They were also trash talking customers from the previous days and how they should be better people. All in all not a professional business and Jodi himself dose have a staring problem he like to look at peoples chest and such which makes for a very uncomfortable environment. I ve also been told he has offered many apprentice to sleep with them and then when they refuse they are fired. He has also fired people over mental health which is illegal if you are looking to work for this man or get tatted by him be careful.

Jodi was 10/10 AWESOME! Super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. He did our piercings quick and very clean. The atmosphere was inviting. I had work on the back of my shoulder and my arm and it just never flowed, never was confident about it. When I got engaged in 2021 I knew I had to get it completed somehow. I found Jodi and he put my confidence sky high and just felt so much better about myself. I couldn t have asked for better he is amazing and now the only person that will tattoo me!!!!!. If you have to run your mouth on fb groups to make yourself look good youll never be good yourself. Not saying she needs to be fired but definitely needs to be informed that what you do in the public matters. Jodi has got to be one of the most arrogant self centered tattoo artist in Amarillo. Constantly talking down on other tattoo shops just to make himself feel good, up charging on simple tattoos, blasting others online when the smallest inconvenience happens. Jodi won t even take into account what you want for your tattoo, instead he would rather draw up what he thinks would look best and still over charge at that. He is very unprofessional and rude. If you stick up for yourself to Jodi he will screenshot and blast you on Facebook. Stop giving this guy your hard earned money.

After going years of no tattoos I finally made an appointment with Jodi who accommodated my hectic work schedule and got my in the very next day. I was happy to find the same upbeat personality and enjoyed hours of laughter. The shop was clean as I remembered his previous shops and the professional work did not disappoint! I have to say as a nurse I was shocked and skeptical when Jodi told me about dry healing. Considering the size I figured this would take a while to heal be messy and hard to wear clothes for a good week at least. The first picture is right after Jodi was done with it. The second is less than 24 hours later. I could sleep on this in the night. I could feel it when I moved but laying on it was fine. Less than 24 hours later no pain no bleeding at any point no weeping no scabs. I did exactly what Jodi told me to do. I ve never had it this easy with a tattoo before and this is by far my biggest. And his art work is beautiful at that. Couldn t recommend this more. You definitely get what you pay for and more. He cares about the quality of his work and the people he s working on. It s obvious to me he doesn t just want money and a few gouges in your skin later have a good day and good luck. He looks at the medical side of this art form and finds the best practices in taking care of his clients. I m a return customer who will return again.

I got a lip piercing by Jodi a week ago and he was absolutely wonderful! He was willing to answer all of my questions regarding the piercing and healing stages. After a negative experience at a different tattoo shop, I was definitely nervous but Jodi had a calm demeanor and knew exactly what he was doing. My piercing healed beautifully and way quicker than expected. I highly recommend seeing Jodi for any piercing needs. I am expecting to get a tattoo with him within the next few weeks and will update my review to include that experience after that, but I anticipate it going wonderfully as well!

I am super impressed. He was fast clean careful and nice. They unlike other shops I been to actually follow the piercings laws. They explained anything I didnt understand or know. They are definitely professionals. The Gentalman that did my nose pierceing has over a million under his belt I was obvious he knew what he was doing and it didnt even hurt. My husband and I came in late as walk-ins and Jodi was more than happy to accommodate us getting two tattoos. My husband got a cancer ribbon on his wrist and I got one on my face. I called Jodi to fix a tattoo I had done when I was 18.... Backstory: Got two tattoos on my back at age 17 and 19 that were really bad. Then, 30 years later, I had another artist, fixing my tattoos. He ended up just making them look worse. It cost more money too. So I stopped wasting time and called a pro in. Que Jodi Hollywood. He conversed with me online since I live out of town and really found out what I wanted. He agreed to help me fix the atrocities done to my back. I am so happy with the work he did!!!! I dont feel ashamed to put on a swimsuit anymore. Im not embarrassed to show my back. I also ended up with tattoos that I love for the first time. I will never go to anyone else for a tattoo again. Ive included the before and after images of both tattoos.

Got my very first facial piercings here and he was super nice and respectful, very welcoming. i love my piercings so much and glad i went to him for them. I wouldnt have anyone else to do them this is my go to from now on and hoping to get some tats here also. As a single mom i had to take my son an he was so kind an sweet to my baby did not in any way have a problem with my son being there seemed to be a big time family man. Jodi provided low quality service and made my friend and I not feel welcome to his shop. We wanted matching tattoos, something small and simple. We sent him reference pictures and told him sizes when setting the appointment for the tattoo. He agreed to understanding what we wanted. Once we arrived he had the tattoo stencils done in sizes and proportions outside of what we requested. When we provided suggestions for modifying the tattoo to fit our creative image, he did not give us the option to change it. He said that it was a tattoo shop and that he wasn t Van Gogh . When providing suggestions to meet at least somewhere in the middle, he refused and said that the tattoos wouldn t look right and that we were being too picky. He even made a comment saying that a tattoo that small would not look good with age due to wrinkling and sagging skin. He knew that s what we wanted when setting the appointment and had nothing to say then. We had already paid a non-refundable $100 to set the appointment, and ended up staying to get the tattoo only for that reason. The tattoo s were done quickly, we could tell he had a skilled hand when making them. His shop was tidy and well taken care of, and he had pictures of his previous tattoos on his walls to show his skill as a tattoo artist. I don t understand why a seasoned artist struggled on a small and simple tattoo. We unfortunately settled for the tattoo due to not wanting to lose the $100 for the deposit. Looking back, it would have been worth losing the $100 to avoid getting a tattoo that briefly resembled what we wanted and to avoid the low quality service we received. I was a little distraught and vented to a friend about what happened, only to find out she had a similar experience with him. He also took over the creative direction of her tattoo as well and gave her a tattoo she is saving money to either remove or cover up. She wanted a simple tattoo, but he decided to add a lot of shading to make it look better . With the amount of shading he used, the tattoo looked very dark and was not what she asked for. She asked him about giving her a discount since the tattoo wasn t what she asked for, but he refused. I talked to another person who got a tattoo by him and she loved the way her tattoos came out. Jodi does better when giving him general ideas and letting him take control after the fact. I wouldn t personally go back myself due to my experience, even though I know he has the ability to create beautiful tattoos. If going to him I would be hesitant about getting a specific tattoo, because chances are that he will change it to fit what he thinks looks best

The lovely ashlie messed up my friends tattoo. Do NOT go to American classics tattoo. Tattoo was done last Thursday. It was red for a good 6 days. The ink flaked up and fell off. They shrunk the tattoo size cause of her arm, HOWEVER she didnt lower the price. My friend paid $250 for a $80-$120 tattoo. They told her to keep it COMPLETELY dry. This tattoo HURT for DAYS after she got it was red, and then the ink came out. Didnt want to fix it after she paid alot for it. Claimed, she must have gotten it wet. Never in my years (and I have a tat) have I heard that from an artist to leave a tattoo completely dry. No ointment, no lotion, nothing at all on it. Even blocked my friend when asked for a refund or to fix the issue. Didnt want to work it out at all.
