I ordered breakfast, the egg tasted bad, part of the egg was served very dry, the ham sour, first time I went, I dont know how the rest of the food is, but the breakfast did not meet what I expected, the flour tortillas they have no flavor

Had not been here since they remodeled. We were missing out. We were greeted and welcomed as soon as we stepped in the door. The waitress introduced herself asked for our order. She offered the special on Margaritas. I ordered a pomegranate Margarita for 3.99! It was excellent. Then we ordered our meals. I had the enchiladas potosinas with chicken they were on point, very flavorful and fresh.this was a large meal, I had to take some home. My husband ordered the seafood soup, it was excellent as well. We will definitely be back.

Tasty food and great service. We were looking for a place to eat dinner on Christmas and stumbled upon this restaurant. We had chicken enchiladas, chicken soup, and beef soup. Everything was flavorful, I just wished the beef was a little more tender.

Very disappointed with El Tri, I placed a takeout order, one of the things was a mixed pupusa, supposedly it had cheese, chicharrón and beans..., and no matter how much I looked for it, I never found the cheese or the chicharrón, it had very little layer of beans, apparently what you order to take away has less content than when you eat there, because the times I have eaten there I have not gone through this unpleasant experience.

I inform you that now here at El TRI they adopted the system that if we pay with a Debit or Credit card we will pay an additional surcharge, which merchants must pay to their own payment system. They had already warned me but I forgot until we went again. It is better to avoid these places, in the end the most harmed are the waitresses, (which by the way to work in a Mexican food place, these new waitresses have NO idea about anything when you ask them or order the dishes! But anyway Because of this additional charge, the tip is simply minimized or nothing is given. Nowadays most people do not bring cash to pay, that is why I do not support this system and we will avoid going.

We have driven by numerous times and never noticed this restaurant. Such a gem to stumble upon! The food is amazing. Their hot sauce is very flavorful and not just burn only. A little disappointed that our server forgot our order of queso. But, that will be a next time kind of thing. We are looking forward to trying the breakfast. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. The manager stopped by and said hello to us. Everyone is super friendly!

Food wasn t great. Didn t finish my plate like normal. Half my food was cold. Order the ninfa plate. Didn t taste good. I m normally a foodie. But this time I couldn t finish it. Stuff pepper was cold and the cheese enchiladas were cold as well. Only thing warm of was the potatoes and carrots. The chorizo taco was ok. Can t say I would recommend this place. But on high note the staff is nice and attentive. They kept checking to see if I was ok. Clean inside as well. I just can t recommend them off this experience.

Large place, excessive decoration, I didnt use the bathrooms, I cant give an opinion, I dont eat meat but my husband said the meat was delicious, I ordered a chili stuffed with cheese, the egg only ruined it, it tasted strange as if they put it together made in an oil where they fry something else, the rice was passable but the beans were not, the employees were very friendly, but you have to try it to give your opinion.

I visited El Tri Restaurant in Conroe. They had great food, drinks, and ambiance. The owner seems to be obsessed with a Mexican soccer team from Mexico called Cruz Azul and has been active in soccer games with all-star players from Mexicos national soccer team. They even have a goal post inside! The prices were very reasonable, and the plates were really well-served with AUTHENTIC Mexican flavors. I ordered the Azteca burrito, and it is an Instagram-ready dish.

My husband and I placed an order for kids quesdilla, sampler platter, and enchiladas. When he got home and we unpacked the food, there was no sampler in there. My husband called and there was no answer. The second try, the lady hung up on him after he explained we didnt have the right food. He goes up there and eventually get my order. Their floutas were dried up chicken and we asked for beef, the nachos just had chips with sloppily thrown meat in there. Among the other food, the enchiladas were dry, and the kids quesadilla ended up being harder than a quesadilla should be. I love local places, but this is not one I will return to.

I ordered beef fajitas for 2 for pick up. Im not sure what kinda beef it was, but for sure, I know it wasnt beef fajitas. Definitely small portion for 2. Had friend pick it up for me. There was no chips an salsa with order. In the past, my to go orders had always come with chips and salsa. When I called the restaurant, if it was included, she said yes. When I told her she forgot, she replied oh you have to ask. I will not order from them again. For the price and being ripped off by not being what I ordered. The food is good, but the prices are high, thats the reason for 3 stars. The rice was a bit bland. We spent over $100 for a family of 5. Was not expecting that, to which I would have gone some where else honestly. The decor inside is soccer themed and was pretty awesome to look at. My 3 boys loved that part. The waitress was polite and tried her best, we are not Spanish speaking, but she got everything correct. I think they would get more business if the prices were more family friendly.

Food is pretty good. Ive had the chilaquiles Verdes and the machaca(2 separate times), bit they are both really good. I tried asking for a plate with chilaquiles and machaca, but they wont do it. The reason i am rating this a one star is because i ordered a chimichanga and the inside was so stale, little to no flavor. Even the outside looked like it had been sitting for a while. WAITRESSES LIKE TALKING RUDE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS !!! THEY CRITICIZE IF CUSTOMERS ARE BIG, LARGE BUTTS, TANK TOPS OR MUSCLE SHIRTS ON MEN !!!! I KNOW FOR A FACT, BECAUSE I ALWAYS WENT TO EAT THERE !!!!! I HAVENT BEEN OVER IN ABOUT A MONTH,..... NOR WILL I GO EAT THERE ANYMORE !!!!!!!!!

We stopped in to El Tri to check out a new Mexican Restaurant in Conroe. This Tex-Mex food was subpar at best. The tostadas that came with the ceviche were overcooked making them impossible to chew without cutting your mouth. The queso was nothing more than heated up Velveeta cheese. Our server was nowhere to be found throughout our dining experience which would have been understanding if we were not her only customers. We had to flag down another waitress for napkins and extra chips. The charge for a shared ceviche, 2 beers, and a queso was $40+. El Tri does not serve margaritas, wine, liquor and has an incredibly limited beer selection.

They take their time when you order something, it arrives after 15 minutes and I waited more than 1 hour for my dinner with my family, it was a bad experience for my first and last time.
