Fire Slice Pizzeria is literally my favorite restaurant! We have been eating there regularly for years. The service is exceptional! Matt is extremely friendly and so service oriented! Eric and Melissa are great as well! The food is wonderful from their entrees to the pizzas. The desserts and appetizers are great as well! We highly recommend the spicy cheese curds! The out of the way atmosphere is so welcoming - it allows us to step out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life, reconnect and enjoy each others company over good food. When we ask our adult children if they want to go eat, it is their number one choice of restaurant as well. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant!

This place is filthy. Menus are covered in crust and the cheese and pepper shakers had goo all over them. Ironic because the food tastes like cleaning chemicals. Someone needs to take this place out to the country and put it out of its misery. Walk in and see if you can smell the last time they actually cleaned the place. Beyond disgusting.

Fire slice makes the best pizza in town! I am there 2-3 times a month. I love trying out the monthly specials. Also, Cody is extremely knowledgeable in wine and beer, and has a knack for teaching his patrons about all the ins and outs of pairing the tastes with his amazing pizzas! If you havent tried fire slice out, definitely give it a go, you wont be disappointed.

I stopped back in after years of honestly forgetting. This place. Fireslice is hidden off the main roads so I never think of it. The restaurant is not fancy but nice. I came at lunch and there was a whole group sitting at the small bar talking to who I guess was the owner. It s clearly a very friendly and inviting place. The menu has lots of special pizzas and Italian food. They only serve beer and wine. I chose to make my own pizza and as you can see it s gorgeous. Honestly, it may be the best crust I ve ever had on a pizza. Thin, crispy, but soft on the inside. Only beer and wine, no cocktails. $20 for a small pizza that was big enough to satisfy me for two meals.

I usually go crazy on photos, but I drove in from Tulsa and was starving and dove right in. The Goodfellas was my favorite, and while it s heavy on meat, it was so fresh and light I could have eaten the whole pizza in one setting. The wings were cooked to perfection, and there was something about the calamari that was addictive. Just perfect. The ambiance is great vibes and you just feel like family. I will definitely be back!

Just passing through town and we decided to try this spot based on its rating online. We split a small Goodfella. It was well constructed and baked to perfection. Tasty toppings and crispy outer crust giving way to a pleasant chew inside. Added ranch and hot honey and I was very surprised at how good it really was. Given the chance Id definitely come back to see what more they have to offer.

This was absolutely the worst pizza we have ever had. It wasnt finished when my husband went to pick it up so it definitely went into the box hot and our hotel was only 4 minutes away. So I give it a 1 for the food experience. My overall rating is higher because of the service. 1. When the pizza wasnt ready, the lady offered my husband a free drink while he waited. 2. I immediately sent a message through the contact us email telling them the situation and how unhappy we were. I got an immediate response and apology and an offer of a refund. There was continued correspondence about the concern through 2 other emails. We declined the refund offer and the owner ( or manager) assured us they would be looking into the situation to see what happened. Customer Service is important and I was pleased with their efforts to address our concerns so I bumped up their rating foe that reason.

I googled best pizza in Amarillo, and this is the first thing that popped up. Unfortunately, while the restaurant definitely had its strong points, the pizza wasnt one of them. The first thing that arrived was the drink. They have an interesting selection of drinks that Ive never seen in restaurants before. Then came my appetizer, which they just called cheese curds. This was the high point of the meal; the batter was zesty and well seasoned, and it complemented the hint of jalapeno in the cheese perfectly. I was stoked! What would the main course be like? But then the pizza came. I kept it simple and ordered a pepperoni pizza, and they kept it simple and gave me something that would have been an embarrassment even for the big delivery chains. I know I asked for a traditional pizza but come on, I still expected something good. What I got was mundane and honestly kind of unpleasant-looking. There were a couple of burnt-black bubbles on top, the bottom of the crust was definitely somewhat burnt, and yet the parts that werent burnt somehow gave off the impression of being undercooked. I saw nothing to redeem this poor sad pizza. In fact Im afraid I have to go to somewhat of an extreme and say the pizza was so lame that the burnt part was actually an improvement. So, this is definitely not the best pizza Ive had in Amarillo. In fact, its close to the bottom of the barrel. I may come back for those cheese curds though.

If you want something different packed with flavor that you can t find anywhere else, get the Honeybomb it is in my favorite choice. Honestly, me and my husband came to amarillo in search of something new to do. We live in lubbock and felt like venturing out, though the day was very busy and warm. We both had a craving for pizza and decided to look around and see what pizza places amarillo had to offer. We stumbled across this one and with a tiny bit of confusion to where it was located, we were NOT disappointed! This place had such a good vibe! The restaurant looks so nice and clean. When we walked in the gentleman at the front immediately sat us down and our waiter was just a doll. He was super attentive and nice! They walked around and talked to everyone, cleaned up tables right away! And the food came out quick and was so good! We got the mullet pizza and it was super delicious and worth every penny! Our only regret is that we cant come often but will definitely stop by whenever we come into town! If youre from amarillo or in amarillo, Id highly recommend coming here for good pizza and vibes!

It sucks they dont open Til 5pm. I was looking forward to wood fired pizza its usually soo good but I barely had any toppings on my pizza and the crust was not like Im used to with wood fired pizzas. Its not even close to being worth the money we spent. My husband has a pizza o en attachment for our pellet smoker that has an amazing smokiness flavor to the pizza. My mom and I just FINALLY tried this place and are sad we havent gone sooner! We werent actually sure where they were at first, but it was like a treasure hunt that was worth the effort! The food was INCREDIBLE, and the service was fantastic, Our server, Matt, made awesome suggestions and when our order came out wrong (not completely his fault because we changed part of it mid-order), he apologized and offered to bring us a free personal sized pizza of the correct type. We started with the calamari, and for pizza, Matt recommended the Honeybomb, the Americano, or the Fire Slice Combo. We ordered a half-and-half of the Americano and the FS Combo. I said Honeybomb by mistake, but changed that to Americano, so the mistake was understandable when it came out with Honeybomb on that half instead. By the time wed had the yummy calamari, a drink, and a slice each of the two kinds we ordered, we were too full to try the bonus Honeybomb. However, the other two were insanely delicious and the crust was PERFECT. And Im picky when it comes to pizza crust! We ended up with a to-go box with some of all three pizza types, so needless to say, Matt got a hefty tip, and we look forward to our leftovers! He was the perfect combination of attentive and friendly, was knowledgeable about the wine selections, and we will definitely be back!!

My friends and I had an enjoyable dinner and time at Fire Slice. I had a small Green Chile Cheeseburger pizza. Its large enough to serve two people. I enjoyed it. One friend had a personal sized pimento cheese, bacon, and jalapeño pizza. It was the special. Another friend ordered a small custom pizza: chicken and jalapeños. Everything was served fresh. Fantastic brunch menu in a unique pizza venue (only pizza joint, I know of in an alley LOL), amazing Micheladas and mimosa variations We LOVE weekend brunches and so far we ve smashed their Brego (breakfast calzone), Benedict Pie (small breakfast pizza with ham, three cheese and an over medium egg with hollandaise drizzle), Jalapeño Chicken Biscuits (a bit dry for us so request more gravy!) and Brick Oven Breakfast (unique bread and loads of flavor!) if you like savory, you can t go wrong with any of these. First pizza ordered was a Chicken Florentine. It was missing spinach and was very underdone. Crust was rubbery and hard to cut and chew. They sent another pizza and added the spinach but the crust was so black and burnt that all the toppings virtually melted and it was inedible. Also, crust was still rubbery. We had to throw the rest away. Seems to be issues from the time the dough is made all the way to the finished product.

Honestly Im pretty simple and easy going when it comes to pizza and after being told this was a good place I tried it out, turns out that was a bad choice. Wait time wasnt bad I ordered over the phone a 24 pepperoni, jalapeño cheese curds & a smores calzone. Really the only good thing where the jalapeño cheese curds. Pizza was so greasy and soggy yet the dough was very tough to chew, the underside was burnt so badly thats really the only thing you could taste. But the worst part was the calzone.. Was supposed to have marshmallows & chocolate inside, yet all it had was a couple chocolate chips half melted. I expected more especially for that price point.

Today, 12/30/22, at 6:23 PM, I ordered a 12 inch pizza on your website. The order # was 208106919. I got a confirmation email telling me the pizza would be ready at 7:23 PM. Ordered food, 2 hours later had to call and ask where our food was. They claimed to have tried to deliver to the address which was the Drury Inn, but couldnt find the address. When I explained in the notes it says Drury Inn and our room number. The manager said oh Ill send the driver back out. When the food arrived out was cold and flavorless. The delivery driver told us he just started his shift and apologized for taking so long, so the manager lied. Will never eat here again. Horrible food and horrible service by the manager!

We had our Christmas party for work here and it was AMAZING We had several kinds of pizza (all of them were delicious!)... The wings were great (and they have home made ranch dressing, yum!) Most of all I loved the tiramisu! It was probably the best Ive ever had, no joke! Plus they have all kinds of beer and wine! I had a mimosa (you can get orange juice or cranberry mimosa by the way)...

Ok so lets get this out of the way first, the pizza was excellent. The location you have to hunt for a little but it is totally worth the effort. Their menu is great, with lots of variety. Inconsistent. Sometimes its pretty good and it reminds me of New York pizza and sometimes its so disappointing that I spent so much money just to get pizza that tastes like the people in the kitchen are just going through the motions and dont even care about quality. It was okay. My calzone dough was super raw, and flat. It wasnt appetizing. The Caesar salad dressing was incredibly fishy. Like, wasnt bad, but wow they use a lot of anchovies. Can tell it was house made. The cheese bread was a bummer too. My girlfriend liked the lasagna. Would be 1 star, but I liked talking to the bartender and hearing the juicy kitchen and server gossip. They also had good beer on tap, and good can options.

We were seated and then two other tables came in after us and seated in the same area. We were completely overlooked and the other tables were asked about drinks and appetizers and we hadn t been acknowledged. We waited for a couple more minutes and still no one came to us. We had been to this place many times in the past but this will probably be our last for a long time. The service was always slow but we overlooked that, but being ignored is unacceptable. The waiter and manager seemed to know the two other tables but it still doesn t seem like you should ignore your other guests. We left after being ignored and went to another place (575 Pizzeria)that was willing to acknowledge us, I guess they value the customer more.

We stayed in Amarillo overnight on a road trip from Houston to Colorado. After reading reviews and looking through menus we found that this place had good choices for everyone in the family:. I had grilled chicken salad and it was delicious: greens were crispy and fresh, chicken juicy and flavorful. Caesar dressing seemed to be made in house and delicious. I loved sweet potato fries, and souse they were served with was really good. My daughter loved her pizza. We had a takeout order but when we came to pick it up we wished we could dine in because it looked very cozy.
