Such a great tour! My aunt and I got to join one recently it was full of knowledge of the city and Lake Austin and fun. Vehicle was amazing to watch on land and water. Duck tour was a great way to learn some history about Austin! I was thankful that we went on the earliest tour, 10am. It did get hot, but not unbearable. The tour guide was hilarious. A lot of fun! If you collect pennies, bring 51 cents. They have a penny flatten machine with multiple logos on them. Super cheap souvenir!

We enjoyed the tour so much! Both, our almost 3 year old son and our 12 year old son sat through it without complaining. The tour guide was funny, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was a super nice way to learn about Austin while sitting and resting. They offered us cold water bottles, had a sprinkler system that would spray everyone to keep us cool in 110°F weather, and they gave us a duck quacker to keep. The experience was really neat. Very family friendly!

There is too much to type!.... We had a blast. Family friendly and definitely recommend. My pictures and videos are a small part, and they speak for themselves, but the history of the city and river plus our driver Bob made it memorable. This is a must do tour if youre in Austin. Tour was super-fun. Our tour guide was engaging and fun, and the part where the bus turns into a party barge was a fun change of pace. The guide did a good job of taking ua to see all kinds of historic and unique places of downtown, many of which we missed when we drove around downtown ourselves. It ended up being my kids favorite part of our vacation to Austin, definitely recommend.

Our tour guide Bob was funny and interactive with both parents and kids. He was informative on Austins history whilst throwing jokes in between. Aquatic Bus has fans with mist, which helped with the afternoon heat but would recommend bringing cold drinks. Highly recommend to start with this tour when first arriving to Austin and catching an earlier morning tour.

The family and I were in Austin over the Memorial Day holiday weekend and thought the Austin Duck tour would be a perfect way to spend the morning! The tour meets at the Austin Visitors Center, and the best place to park is the Austin Convention Center parking garage (600 E 5th St). Once you check in at the Visitors Center, you will be instructed to line up on Red River Street. Boarding will begin about 15 minutes before your departure time. Be there early to avoid one of the bad seats! Upon boarding, youll be given a yellow duck quacker. Come prepared to use it! We quacked at everyone and everything for the entire 75-minute tour! The looks we got from some people were priceless. After about 30 minutes of touring downtown (including the Capitol and 6th Street), we headed west to Colorado River, where we spent another 30 minutes learning about the history of Austin and enjoying the beautiful homes on the water. The last 15 minutes were spent driving back to the Visitors Center, where we deboarded and were on our way. Special shout out to our tour guide, Robert O (Captain Bob), who was easily one of the funniest, quick witted and knowledgeable guides I have ever met. 5 stars all around!

Wonderful experience!!! We are Austinites who were celebrating a birthday and decided we wanted to try out one of the tours that we always saw driving around downtown. It was such a BLAST - and I don t want to ruin any surprises - but I ll say that we found some great new places to get a drink, to eat at, and to explore even though we ve been in the city for several years. CAPTAIN BOB was EXCELLENT. He was jovial, well informed, super quick-witted, kind, and he inspired many laughs, cool facts about the city, and a memorable birthday. It was so fun! I forgot the hosts name, but a Hispanic man, thin mustache. I know it s not captain Miguel, because of a joke he made. Regardless our captain was incredible. Shout out to him! It was a reallly fun and informative tour. Sometimes a little fast, but we re on the road, so it makes sense. The diving into the water part was hella fun and cool. 10/10 worth the cost. Also get a ton of recommendations of what to eat while driving which was important.

Ive tried to review this on three different sites, they wont allow me. If youre Tall dont go, your knees are squished from the seat ahead of you like airlines, and if youre short the sides are too high, you cant see out. Its not worth the money if youre uncomfortable and you cannot see.

Ive been an Austinite for 15 years but I recently decided to take this tour with my 3 year old daughter. It was awesome! John and the driver Kurt were great guides. They made the trip so enjoyable and memorable. Our favorite part of the journey was transitioning from land to water, which my daughter really got a kick out of. I even learned some stuff about Austin that I did not know. In summary, it was a very nice, fun, relaxing, and informative tour of downtown Austin that I would recommend to anyone. Amazing experience!! This was our favorite thing to do in Austin. I m disappointed that this was the last thing we did because we were shown a lot of cool spots that we now know to go check out! Definitely something to do at the beginning of the trip. The little quack noise makers made the tour so much fun! I loved that we did a thorough tour of the city before we went into the water. Going into the lake was very enjoyable - even though I was a little nervous at first! The tour continued on in the water with information about the houses on the lake, which celebs had houses here, what movies were filmed on the lake, information about surrounding geography, etc. We even had a trivia challenge and the winner got to drive the boat in the water! The tour was 90 minutes and the whole time we were thoroughly entertained!!

We went on a duck tour for the first time and Im so glad we did! Our tour was led by Captain Miguel who was entertaining and taught us lots of fun facts about Austin (we have lived here 6 years and he still told us a lot we didnt know). Our 7 year old son was engaged the whole time between the music, the tour and the quakers they provide for interaction with people we passed on the street. Would highly recommend this tour with or without your kids.

The Austin duck Adventures have always been a staple of the Austin area. Growing up my grandparents brought me on this tour and I was extremely excited to be able to share this experience with my children now. It really is fun for all ages and you to see Austin in a fun and entertaining way. Are tour guide Bob was exceptional and we actually ended up picking up another tour guide who was off that day I dont remember his name but he was yodeling and together they made it a wonderful tour. The was a nice little tour that doesn t require walking. It s about 75 minutes and it covers quite a bit. It s not very detailed, but is good for pointing out key spots to see in Austin. The Austin Duck Adventures was totally awesome! What fun to tour and learn the history of Austin plus to cruise Lake Austin. Our guide, Julian , was full of stories that added laughter and interesting tibets to our knowledge of the capital of Texas.

It s pretty good for family and kids, not suitable for young couples and energetic buddies as the trip gives you lots of Austin history (which is quite boring if you are not into arts or history). Kudos to the Captain and the Tour guide. The fun moments are when the bus becomes a boat and back to the bus when landing. We can see million dollar lake houses. Other than that, just enjoy the breeze.

We had an amazing time! Miguel was the driver/guide and his knowledge about the Austin and Texas history is outstanding. Not only he gave valuable information about every building and point of interests in the area, but I had so much fun definitely an entertaining experience. You cannot visit Austin without riding the Duck Adventure! You won t regret it.

A lot of paid parking around the block. Staff and guide were very nice and helpful. You can reserve in person or online. It was very interesting and fun tour. Duck bus does get in the water.
