The pork soup dumplings were awesome, and I was really impressed that they brought them straight to the table in the traditional wooden steaming basket. They also had really good Salt and Pepper Shrimp, a dish Ive had trouble finding at other Chinese restaurants.

Guys check y all glass cups I got a broken one today waitress gave me a false name saying her name was Cassie when confronted about the cup but when speaking to the manager he said her name is conny ( don t know the spelling) and I felt like she didn t take this situation seriously because she had asked me if I had drank my beverage when my beverage was clearly half way full from me drinking from it. Also John treated us poorly from the moment of us walking in, our table that he had sat us in was dirty and not stable the chair had oil that s when we requested a new table. But one thing is for sure they always ask for tips.

The service attitude of the elderly Chinese woman was extremely poor. She ordered the food in English at the beginning, but the order was not correct. The food was messed up and they were not replaced. When I was almost finished, I asked if I was Korean. In the end, I said in Chinese that I thought you spoke Korean. It was a terrible service experience. I recommend going to the Wuweiding in Plano. At least there were no incomprehensible waiters.

Moving from a small town with awesome Asian good options we were worried that we wouldnt be able to find good fried rice in our new town but Wu Wei Din exceeded our expectations. From the awesome Thai Tea, Dumplings, and egg rolls, to the Fried rice, pot stickers, and boa they have everything you could want and more! I crave this place weekly because its so delicious. Also the staff are so friendly, talk about ready, willing and able! They have the food out so fast and its always fresh and hot! The only thing Im sad about is I got to try the White Boba once since Im not a huge brown sugar Boba fan and it was awesome but theyve been out every time since, so if they got that back I would be even more obsessed with this place! I will also add that last star!

Always great food and service! Our usual dishes are Cucumber Salad, Spicy Pork Wonton, 2 orders of Pork Xiao Long Bao, and Singapore Fried Noodles. Today we added Pan-Fried Pork Buns. The other dishes I saw other people eating also looked well-prepared (fresh looking ingredients, good sized portions, not swimming in grease or over-fried) so I will definitely be back to try more dishes. There were lots of diners there too, so I must ve just found a hidden gem everyone else knew about!

Order a lot of pork during my first time at this place. I know theres another location Plano as well, planning to go there to compare. For this location, the service was pretty quick and constant. I dont feel like I was waiting around a lot. Get the Xiao long bao, its pretty juicy and the taste is good with balanced ratio of soup to meat filling. Also got the braised pork belly fried rice, a lot of flavor in this dish, 4 huge chunks of pork belly (caution its fatty pieces as is with pork belly usually, these arent lean pieces at all). This dish was shared with the table and still had some left its a big portion of food! Got spicy pork wontons and pan fried pork buns as well to share. Its a good appetizer for the table that you can take or leave. I like the pork buns better than the wonton dumplings. Overall everything dish was great and would come back again or go check out the other location.

You know that scene in Frozen where theyre singing and the one says we finish each others... and the other says ...sandwiches? Thats basically how it is with me and my wife. It usually starts out with her saying you know what I could go for? and me saying the random and semi-obscure thing she could go for because I was thinking the same thing. Anywho, the thing was soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) this time, and our mutual craving led us to finally try Wu Wei Din, which had been on our list for a while now because we had heard good things about it. And we were not disappointed! They have an extensive menu of authentic Chinese/Taiwanese cuisine (if I were smarter Id be able to tell you the specific region. I believe it comes from the *tasty* region of that part of the world), and for you normies out there theyve also got a large, and Im sure delicious, section of the menu labeled American Favorites. You get you some crab rangoons and dont let anybody yuck your yum. But I digress. First up was scallion pancake. Delicious and crispy! I found that the chili oil at the table was a great complement to it. Not your average chinese-restaurant-chili-oil. After that, we tucked into our raison-dêtre, the Xiao Long Bao (we went pork). These were fantastic! Weve had these at several places now and these were easily among the best weve ever had. From there we went to the pork-and-shrimp with leek steamed dumplings and let me tell you, the flavor and texture were outstanding! Different and very tasty dipping sauce with them. Next up, we got the Dan Dan Noodles with braised pork. Ive had these at several places as well. Sometimes theyre more on the spicy end with just a hint of peanut; sometimes theyre basically peanut butter soup noodles (ew). Here at WWD they were definitely peanut-forward but not sugary sweet (yay!) and incredibly tasty. The noodles themselves were well prepared and tender. I downed the sauce after we finished the noodles and wouldve licked the bowl if I thought I could get away with it. Last up were the spicy pork and shrimp wontons. I was pleasantly surprised that the sauce included the numb spice in them, which if you havent experienced it, make every effort to do so. Its addicting. These had a pleasant level of heat-- my wife is a bad Mexican who doesnt like spicy food and she could handle it just fine -- and the flavor was exquisite. The wonton texture itself was also some of the best Ive had in the area. The service was top notch. We got there around 5:30 on a Friday and while it was starting to fill up we never felt too rushed or neglected and we got our food quickly. Host and servers were super friendly in a genuine way. Atmosphere was pleasant. For the sheer amount of food we got the prices seemed pretty reasonable. We will absolutely be back, and soon.

(2023)First off, if you love the chain Din Tai Fung from Las Vegas. Spicy Wontons are awesome here!!!! We enjoyed the food, Id say the pork soup dumplings are lacking but havent tried other flavors. Beef noodles have beautiful and generous marbled meat. My only complaint about the whole experience is the place smells strongly of cleaner. Floor and tables need to have the cleaner wiped off, because I can smell the cleaner while eating. Same about the floor, I can smell a stale mop. Service was top point also. Wish I remembered our waiters name, he helped us order what was best, and everyone was so attentive even though it was a busy Sunday night. (2024, Feb) Wednesday 4pm, not busy they expanded the menu which is awesome. John was our waiter super helpful with explaining dishes for my friends. Food was delicious, service great. Only complaint was my Dan Dan noodles not having much meat. Next time Ill order the beef and probably get more protein. Friend got fried rice.

Very tasty authentic Taiwanese Chinese food - focus is on dumplings, noodles, and soups, with traditional Americanized favorites also available. Dan-dan noodles, scallion pancakes, three-cup chicken, steamed pork dumplings, stir-fried geen beans, and flat noodles were all excellent.

Having spent a fair amount of time at a dim sum restaurant in Richardson in the early 2000s with Chinese friends who arguably educated me properly, I was able to experience and appreciate proper Chinese food in both San Francisco and New York Chinatowns. I am extremely fortunate to have this restaurant minutes from my house. I have now been countless times. Each time more reliable than the next. The service is always so polite, fast, and efficient. The quality of the food is so on-point, they have a side of the menu for more picky palettes, but you are truly doing yourself a disservice by not feasting on the dumplings in all of their glory. We visit for special occasions, Sunday lunch or dinner, or just because. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in the finest authentic Chinese food in the DFW area.

We ordered noodles as main dishes and Xiao Long Pao as appetizer. Sesame ball as dessert. Every dish is very authentic and delicious. The noodles were exceptional! Even though I don t like the peanut sauce in the dan dan noodles that much, I still managed to finish the whole bowl.

Came alone for dinner, saw many families here so that must be testament to this establishment. Ordered Taiwanese beef noodle and a side of assorted braised items. Food was decent, although I did feel that the beef noodle s meat portion could be more generous.. Service was enthusiastic and prompt.

Ordered several plates for my family. It was going ok but they were bringing 1 dish at a time with long waits between one another. By the time each dish came out the other dish was cold. My plate was the last one (sweet and sour chicken) to come out an hour later but by that time my family had finished eating. Took my food to go since I didn t want them to have to sit there and watch me eat. They came out to verify they had forgotten my plate then brought it without a sorry or our mistake being said. I recommend to not bring your family, maybe yourself but the are not good for groups.

So this was our first time to visit Wu Wei Din, we came with a party that had been here and told us all about it. We started with the Cucumber salad which was fresh english cucumbers marinated in garlic and chili oil. They had a nice balance that wasnt too spicy for the table. One of our party ordered the Mongolian beef which is probably the best version I have tried. My partner and I ordered the chicken and rice curry, we were warned by the waitress that most Americans do not like it. It was hot, spicy, and coconuty. It is a perfect mix of vegetables and sauce, we loved it. The soup dumplings are amazing are not to be missed! The kids love the edamame which is a good thing, they are nicely seasoned. The pork bao are are fluffy and excellent. This is definitely one of the best asian fusion restaurants in the area, dont miss it!

Have driven by this place so many times and decided to try it and my experience was 10/10. The atmosphere, service and food was 10/10. I honestly didn t have high hopes for this place from the start, but after eating here I will definitely be back and recommend to many of my family members and friends to come here. I just found another restaurant to work into my rotation!!

Delicious Chinese food. Taiwanese specialties. They have a wide variety of food including vegan options. Our server was great. He had lots of suggestions when we asked and went beyond what was required to make sure we had what we needed and enjoyed our food. Vegetarian options: The option to substitute tofu for pork was offered.

Having been to the Plano location several times I was very excited to have this location open closer to my house! The restaurant is much larger which is great since there was only a minimal wait to get to the good stuff! We had the Taiwanese Chicken Nuggets which were absolutely great. So tender and tasty with just the right seasoning. We also had the Pork Buns which tasted very fresh with a crisp bottom and soft exterior. Next time I already have my eye on some of the noodle dishes. Our server was friendly and efficient and the restaurant was clean and inviting. We will definitely be back.

Wide ranging menu of dumplings, noodles and more the American favorites are humorously labeled as such. While some smaller places do this food a bit better, there s nothing like it in the Lewisville area.

Visited this place two times and both times, David our waiter has been incredibly helpful and gave the best recommendations. Dan Dan noodles are great and I enjoyed it with some if their Chilli oil. It just takes it to another level. My daughter loves the pan fried pork buns and soup dumplings. I thought the beef udon noodles were excellent. Definitely get the sesame puff balls for dessert. Those came out hot , crispy and chewy. Perfect ending to our meal.
