When we first arrived, we were asked if we wanted our drinks and then she said hold on and didn t bring our drinks for a while. She did not speak to us kindly she was blunt on the road side. I don t know if it s the restaurants owners child or what but she was not very nice. Didn t say thank you didn t, come to our table. Our food was not what we expected. I ordered the beef fajita For lunch and I got maybe five pieces of fajitas and a whole tomato a whole onion, a whole bell pepper and two mushrooms and I had to wait on someone to bring my tortillas. I will not go back to this place again.

I go every week! I absolutely adore the staff! The music can be loud at times but you can always catch the hottest games Now the food I really like their fajita fried avocado and the amount of food you get when you order the mixed grilled fajitas is worth the price I mean comparative to the 25 bucks you would spend at gringos for a similar dish that has less food on it all in all Cheaper than tastier than and just overall more enjoyable

I ordered enchilada sauzia very good the plate came with rice and refried beans. The beans were ok they would had been great if they didnt have the bean burnt aftertaste. The rice was very good. If they correct the bean afterburnt taste. They would be very delicious.

Martinez Restaurant is a great place to eat Mexican food. It was my first time to eat here and I was very impressed. The atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy but the only complaint I had although I didnt bring it to staffs attention was the music playing was a bit loud. Other than that, everything was good. Also, the prices were super reasonable for the variety of menu items. Parking: The parking lot which is shared by other tenants is plentiful.

Loved this place. I was welcomed in by the hostess emely and angel (very beautiful eyes by the way) smile on their face was a plus for me then greeted at the bar by servers gaby and lina wonderful people funny and lots of character I will be coming back. Thank u Martinez bar for a good time!

Martinez is a great place, and whenever I visit Alvin, it is my must go to restaurant. the service is great, the atmosphere pleasant, and the food is excellent. Parking: Its located in a strip mall so there is a lot of parking places available. Kid-friendliness: Saw families eating there, and the staff didnt seem to be bothered by the children.

First time trying this place when you walk in the vibe seems great.. actually was thinking to come back after work for a drink.. food took over 30 mins (enchiladas) it was placed in a foil tin circle container so nothing separating the beans rice or enchiladas and the chips are stale and I didn t get any utensils or napkins .. I called to let them know spoke with the manager she said the food could of slide when I got in my car and she would let the girl that packed my food know she offered to remake my food but I m at work I can t leave anymore I don t know was very disappointed in the food presentation and stale chips and I guess I have to find something to eat with on my own .. not a good first experience don t recommend for food pick up .. not sure what fine experience is like I don t know if I d want to find out after the managers response (posted a picture, I did eat some rice so you can see where it s missing but who wants to have their food all on top of everything like this)

They have the BEST Chile relleno Ive ever had anywhere - the portions are massive and service is great too. The restaraunt is clean and has a bar and they have a little stage - but Ive never been there late enough to see any performers.

I got a fajita torta and a pastor sope. The fajita was on the salty side and the sope was a mess. I got my wife the chicken soup and she enjoyed it, but we were not given limes. When my food came out the hostess was on their phone and didn t realize my food was ready until I walked up and asked.

Had an order of spinach enchiladas. Dont eat them. They taste and look like they thawed frozen spinach, drained and wrapped it in a tortilla and then served it to you with a sauce over the top, none inside after warming it in the microwave. Worst spinach enchiladas I have ever tasted. They mixed up or orders and none of the food was very impressive. My kid ordered a burrito and only took one bite of it, and that kid eats anything. The shrimp enchiladas are ok, but at least edible.

We used to love this place and the service. The last several times, the service has been terrible, and if you arent part of their in crowd the waitresses walk right past your empty drinks. Not only did that happen tonight, but we were given our check as soon as we ordered our food, about 3 hours until closing. My husband would have liked another beer. My food was cold, which I got a kids meal, so I understand they dont make them as hot, but the waitress walked past us multiple times while we tried to get her attention and our waitress was eating at the bar. She even turned and looked, but would go right back to eating. We used to eat here 2 to 3 times a week and we are about a 30% tipper. We wont be back. We keep trying and the same thing keeps happening. Brian is great, but these girls obviously would rather be somewhere else.

The portion sizes are something that takes away from your overall dining experience. Fajitas for 2 was seriously enough for one. The food was decent, Id eat it again for sure, just wish there was more. Another thing, they have signs all over the restaurant advertising a cash discount. Its not actually a discount though. The price on the menu is the cash price, but if you pay with a card, youll have a 3% surcharge. I hope they can improve. Theyre nice people.

Ordered 100$ worth of fajitas and a couple kids meals. Fajitas for two consist of raw onion and bell peppers, 6 strips of steak and 8 strips of chicken. All sauces were only filled maybe a 3rd of the way full comes with a ultra small bag of chips. Shrimp brouchette burnt , bacon disintegrating to the touch.

Customer service is ok. The food not so good. The fajitas were not fresh and not even sizzling when it was brought to our table. The beans were to spicy that my daughters couldnt eat it. Rice was old. Ive ate here in the past and the food was good but for some reason it seems like their losing there touch. Or a new cook is needed. Js

A regular haunt after golf for the past couple of years. Never disappointed. Good food, good booze, homemade flour tortillas, green and red salsa that have a serious kick. Thats coming from a Cajun. I finally got the chance to try the Menudo, today. I picked up the bowl to drain the last few drops. I looked like a pig, but didnt care. Delicious! Everyone is so friendly, too.

We had a really bad experience, service was bad, asked for 4 different drinks which they have down on the menu and the didnt have any of em, no avocado, we had to go next door to El mercadito to get our own stuff, they took forever to bring our appetizers, and to bring our food... the food is good I give them that, this was our 2nd time visiting this place, first time was bad, the waitresses had no idea what she was doing, no $100 dollar change and every time we would call them they would walk right past us, I dont think theres gonna be a 3rd time

Horrible if i could rate it a 0 i would however the Martinez Margarita was good. So they get 1 star. Our waitress didnt have a clue about any of the food or drinks for that matter now the drinks I can understand because she was young probably the youngest person in there. The problem was she didnt know the menu how anything was made. She had to go ask 3 or 4 different times. And then she brought me the wrong order and then argued with me about it. Then she had another girl with her to come take my food and try and reorder what i originally ordered. But brought it back within not even 2 min it was thrown on a plate with jalapenos all over it after i asked for none and cheese poured over the top. It was SLOP on a plate. AND even argued with me about that tried to take my plate again. And never 1 time did she offer to condensate for both screw ups that was there fault. Never apologized. My friends food order was right but she said it was not very good. Im so UPSET ABOUT THIS I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED THIS POORLY AT ANY PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN!!! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO MAKE IT RIGHT.
