Love this place. Great seating, service was outstanding and the food was close to perfect. Queso is just ok, little bland could use a little more spice, but did pair well with the type of chip served. Brisket is def the star of the show , whether the taco or burrito its that good. Doesnt need any sauce, but hey nice change up now and then as you enjoy. Cheese enchiladas and tamale was also very good. Will return for another round soon. 4.7 overall.

First time trying out this place. I live in Kansas City Missouri we stop by on our way back home. I feel bad I was a little disappointed my first time trying this place. I had a pickup order for someone else and the manager was so friendly I figured Id come back today (7/26/24) to try something for myself. Ordered the MiCo Burrito and it was so small I took one bite and took a picture because I was pretty disappointed. I spent $15 and I feel like it wasnt very large for the price. The ingredients were actually spectacular so its unfortunate the burrito was so small.

We went to Mi Cocina to celebrate my cousin s wedding week. They were accommodating when it came to getting a table for 15 of us. However, our server, Nicholas, provided such terrible service. He seemed annoyed from the start. We all ordered drinks and there was a misunderstanding about one of the drinks. He thought one of us ordered a frozen marg instead of on the rocks. Instead of just switching it, he kept arguing saying I wrote down frozen. Someone ordered a frozen. I wrote it down even after we stated that it was fine and we d keep the frozen drink. Luckily, my cousin was able to walk to the bar, communicate that there was a misunderstanding and get the drink replaced. We ordered guacamole as an appetizer and it took over 20 mins to come out. When we casually asked the manager, he brought it out. Nicholas, again, states if I knew you wanted it earlier, I would ve brought it out. Y all didn t tell me you wanted it now . The manager was so kind, brought our guacamole, took our drinks order, and made sure our table had enough salsa. He helped lighten the mood. Nicholas seemed like he didn t want to serve us from the second we walked in and would rather just argue or make comments. Hopefully, it was just an off day for him, but it really dampened the mood. Food was great. As always, sunset enchiladas are a hit! Update: I emailed the email address that Mi Cocina provided in response and have yet to get an email back.

The Chicken fajita nachos are the best I ve ever had. We like the Pollo con hongos, all varieties of enchiladas, and Rico s salad. The drinks are pricey, but very good - I like their Mojito. The iced tea is always excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient. We especially like Kevin, Erika, Myra, Karla, Angela, and Jesus. These people will take care of you even if you are not their table.

My girlfriend & I visited this establishment and had a positive experience. The premises were neat & the food was served promptly. I ve never had such a bad tortilla soup in my life, every single piece of chicken was dry, bland, flavorless and felt like it took years off my life to chew through, it s like the chef hasn t even heard of salt before. I could make something better tasting and more appetizing than this, and I m not a good cook at all. It s appalling that something this genuinely awful was served to a paying customer, and hopefully it s taken off the menu before anyone else has to suffer through eating it.

We had an incredible experience with our server, Angelica aka Angie, as well as catching up with Baldo, the manager super busy with to go orders all evening. On Fathers Day despite an energetic crowd we were greeted warmly, served quickly, and attended to wonderfully. Each person made an incredible contribution to the team to make our night a success.
