I need more than 5 stars. This place is awesome and definitely worth the visit. The prices are unbeatable, the sushi (according to my friends) is fresh and delicious, and the service is on point. Try the dumplings and teriyaki if you don t eat seafood like me! Owners are friendly and really take pride in what they do. Parking: Located in a shopping center next to Tom Thumb. Plenty of parking.

I don t often have sashimi early for breakfast in the morning but I was craving it and visited this nice little place. It was a cute cozy place and the ambience was relaxing. I ordered Some Sashimi and a Spicy Tuna Tower and I kid you not that was the first time I had that dish and I m so in love with it now. Presentation was great and the amount of Spicy Tuna was large. Very impressed and will definitely stop on by again when I come back to that area of Dallas again

Midori sushi is so good Ill go to whichever city I have to, to get some. I used to go the one in fort Worth and since they shut that one down I now go all the way to the Irving location. Its definitely worth the drive. Its neat, clean and cozy in all their locations. They keep the light kind of low so its a very relaxing ambiance. I give Midori 5 stars in all categories!!

Very disappointing. Asked for the chef special sushi and was served an unappetizing distasteful unidentifiable mess any TV chef would immediately dump in the garbage. Tried one bite and found it to be as bad as it looked. Was also given a teensy tiny amount of wasabi. Perhaps a teaspoonful served in a takeout cup. None of the sushi we ordered were completely rolled so the ingredients fell out when picked up. Really H.E.B. sushi as low quality it is, is better than what we were served today. Will not be back.

Nice little lunch spot. Google says they do a lunch buffet but it wasnt up when I was there so Im not sure if they only do it on certain days or if its not something they do anymore. I got two rolls, the shrimp tempura and spicy scallop. Both were good and reasonably priced. Wish they had online order options but eating in was fine.

Went here to try their Lunch special. The beef is hard like cardboard, and the portion is like kids meal, 5 thin slice of beef teriyaki taste like cardboard soo hard and the rice is not even 1 cup. The combo B lunch plate is so yummy. The sushi is so fresh it melts in your mouth. The owners prepare the food with care. You cannot get better sushi anywhere for this very reasonable price point. We just finished a day at Six Flags and stopped by Midori on our way home. It was a good restaurant to go to after a long day and had a great variety of options. There was a good number of other patrons but seating was readily available. All of our rolls were fantastic especially the Rainbow Roll. Rolls also had good portions and had a good amount of meat compared to other places we have eaten. Parking: Parking was very plentiful as you are in a shopping area. I could see there being issues on a busy day or there needing to be a bit of a walk to get to the restaurant but parking was easy.

I really appreciated my server. She was attentive and very nice. The complimentary Miso Soup was also appreciated. I enjoyed one of my rolls more than the other. That could be on me, based on my order. However, both rolls had some integrity issues. Its a small thing, but I appreciate not having to worry about my rolls falling apart when I dip them in soy sauce. That being said, that could have been a one-off thing.

The sushi was fantastic. But, the teamwork of waitstaff with (perceived) owners was something special. I had salmon poke and salmon avocado roll. Miso soup was free and I had some ce water with lemon. $22 plus tip. They were plenty attentive, but not annoying. At one point, I wanted a fork to eat the poke, and the (perceived) owners saw me trying to get the waitress attention and she was busy enough . The wife literally ran and with a smile beckoned as to what she could do for me. Although I m infinitely patient, the sense of pride and urgency was not lost on me. The poke was perfect. It was the right portion and delicious .. there was something a bit too hot for me. But it was great besides that fact so I ate without complaint. Future visits, I ll reorder and ask to leave the heat off. The salmon roll was also delightful. Everything was super fresh. I do not give five stars Willy nilly. But. I do give it upon occasion warranted.

Mediocre food, got the Salmon bento box for lunch and it was the smallest piece of salmon ever in a bento box! It has no flavor over cooked and had char marks from the grill! This is QUALITY FRESH sushi!! I had the Philly Roll & Shrimp Tempura and my belly & taste buds were oh so happy!! The salmon was so fresh it had a rich buttery texture with a nice smoky kickback! Impressive!! The shrimp tempura was super tasty as well! They greet you like a friend when you walk in. The food is always quick and hot. We order a ton of take out, and they always tell us see you in 20-25 minutes. I really REALLY like this restaurant a lot! I was driving one day and saw the the restaurant name MIDORI SUSHI mixed in among the other names in the shopping plaza. and never realized there was a sushi restaurant there. I decided to look up their reviews and saw so many people talking about how affordable it was and that it was delicious. So my daughter and I made a trip. Its been about 2 weeks since we originally saw that sign with their name and weve been back 3 times. I will admit I have to agree with one of the reviews I saw where it said the roll was a little sloppy. We did have some sushi rolls that fell apart and had rice all over the place, but even then they were still tasty. We did have a little bit of a negative experience because we ordered some tempura rolls and they were overcooked to the point that there were burnt pieces and the rice was hard to bite. However, I called to tell them about that experience and they were very quick to make it right. The only reason I took away a star is because of that one experience, but because of the professionalism and their willingness to make it right, I will continue to eat here and I definitely recommend you give them a try. I have to echo what everyone else has said. You can come here and get a delicious meal and not break the bank.

Surprising find in an unassuming shopping plaza! We finally decided to come try this place and glad we did. The portions were HUGE and there was an overly generous amount of protein in their plain rolls. One of the most reasonably priced sushi restaurants in the area and you definitely get your moneys worth in the amount of fish they serve per roll. Im so happy that Midori Las Colinas is still in business after Pandemic. Today I stopped by and even they dont have the buffet, they do have a lunch special menu with great price and enough food for lunch. Food as usual super good and always fresh and tasty. It s my favorite local sushi. If you have picky eaters their fried rice is awesome, just be aware they do like add a lot of stir fried onions. But since they are big enough that if you are not a lover you can take them out easily or just ask the staff when placing your order to skip on the onions.

Weve been going here for years. During lockdown it was one of the few places that managed to stay afloat, and the quality didnt suffer. The last 2 visits, the most recent one in particular, was the most disappointing. Borderline ignored by the wait staff. We watched everyone seated after us, who also ordered a significant time after we had placed an order for 2 rolls... receive soup, salad, AND entrees. The Firecracker and Jewish rolls are usually fresh, and plentiful. The pricing hasnt changed in the last few months, but the quality and portion size definitely has. Between the outrageously over cooked tempura roll, excessive use of jalapenos, the freezer burn undertone on the fresh salmon roll, and having to stand up while waving both arms to flag down someone... its no longer the local gem it once was. Maybe itll change again for the better, but not planning to return anytime soon after the last experience.

Celebrated my fathers 87th birthday today at one of his favorite restaurants. The servers were very efficient and the food was picture worthy and oh so tasty. Highly recommend.

Delicious rolls.We ordered the California and the Philadelphia and some salmon sushi plus the gyozas. Let s not forget their shrimp tempura that was mega delicious! Great service and awesome food.

Good pricing on the lunch menu. I ordered the salmon dish and asked for GF, which they were accommodating to. It was pretty good. However, my wife ordered a sushi dish which I also tried. The sushi was dry and lacking in flavor on its own. This is likely why they had embedded wasabi into the sushi to try and compensate. My wife is really sensitive to spicy foods, and this made it just about inedible for her. Its absolutely not ok to do this, there was no indication on the menu that that was what she was getting. So if you dont want sushi, you can give this place a shot. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

The stuff is polite but the waiting time is so long that Ive forgotten what I have ordered (50 min wait). Than the rolls were ok, not great. Philadelphia roll is good, all others are buffet quality rolls. I regret trusting google tonight and picking up this place...

I absolutely loved this place. The jalapeño roll and the cajun roll was great. I highly recommend the house salad with the ginger dressing. They even accommodated my picky wife who only likes one type of sushi from one certain restaurant. She showed them the ingredients and the picture of it. Not only did they replicate it, they made it better and cheaper than the other place. Great service also.
