Came here for the first time yesterday, and came back today with the rest of the family. The food was fresh,hot and delicious. The service and staff made you feel like family or a close family friend. They were warm and welcoming. They constantly checked on us and made sure we were fully happy. The pizza was top notch and the salad was fresh,cold, crunchy and well presented. It was sooo good. We will definitely be back frequently.

This is my family s go to for take out Pizza. Great thin crust, generous toppings, and the sauce is addictive! Always on time and very friendly service. Also involved in the community and a big supporter of athletics at Lovejoy High School. Not nearly enough of these neighborhood restaurants around anymore. This place gets it right.

The gentleman who owns this place (I assume by his generous offerings on our first visit) is so kind! I thought there was a buffet for my kids and I based solely off menu pictures on here, but he said there never had been. I ordered anyway. The pizza was just as delicious as my hometown Gatti s from the 80 s. I have 4 stars on the atmosphere because it s a nice, lived in shop, but I will not hesitate to eat here again when in the area to visit celebration park and H E B. The pizza is great, give them a try. Take out or sit in ordering.

Ive been a long time Mr. Gattis fan for well over 30 years. When I moved to Lucas in the 90s, my pizza fix was not to be found. Later, I did find the store on Eldorado that finally satisfied my cravings. Now with the Allen store just down the street I have to remember to pace myself... Im not as young as I once was. Mr. Gatti s takes me back to my childhood. I m so lucky to have a location nearby and regret not having visited sooner. The thin crust pepperoni with jalapeños is amazingggg. And you cannot leave without grabbing a side of their famous ranch. Delicious! I briefly met the owner and he s a very nice man and makes the pizzas himself. He is also very aware that the Gatti s ranch is top tier, lol. We will definitely return!

I absolutely love this place. I was a loyal customer when he was in McKinney. Im still a loyal customer of his now that hes in Plano. Cant come as often, but when I do, its fantastic. His location was broken into the night before my last visit. The window was still broken out, the register emptied, and this man was still making the best pie in the city. Somehow, it tasted better than ever that day. Go show this place some love.

Ive eaten at Mr Gattis since I was in college back in the 1980s. Then they mostly disappeared. I was very sad. When they came back, most are delivery only. This location actually has some tables and booths so you can dine in! I always prefer to eat my pizza there and now I can! More important than anything else... It tastes just like I remember ... 40 years ago... gee, how old am I now? They are very friendly! They dont skimp on the toppings either. Theres no buffet, but I didnt miss that part. I missed the taste. You better bet Ill be back here again! Oh, they have lunch specials under $10 too. That should motivate ya! :D

I m not sure why this place gets bad reviews. I love the pizza and eat here often. The staff here is really nice, I ve never had any issues. My pizza is always fresh and hot when I arrive. I really like the homemade ranch. They give you Parmesan cheese and red peppers too (most other places don t). One time I wasn t feeling well and they were nice enough to bring my pizza to the car and take my payment! Idk any other pizza place that would do that for me. The place is always clean no matter the time of day. You can even see the work space from the register and it s always tidy and clean. The only time I ve even seen any food out is when they are actively making pizzas. The dining room is always clean too. I recommend this place 10/10

I had to give this place one more star because the pizza was really good and the owner went out his way to make sure any pizza we wanted was on the buffet. We checked out the pictures on Google maps before we came and were a little surprised at how small this place was. Unfortunately, there are no fountain drinks or cups for small children. The pizza is served on styrofoam plates with drinks in plastic bottles. That being said, our kids loved it and it was a nice change up to our regular pizza options in the area.

We were skeptical of the advertised buffet when we first walked in as it was very small, only room for four or possibly five items total. But the proprietor was very accommodating, making a couple of pizzas for the buffet per our request plus a couple more fresh pies, as well as a fresh cinnamon bread. Well be back. Best pizza Ive had, perhaps ever!! Whenever Im traveling, I always scope out the itinerary beforehand to see if theres a Gattis Pizza along my route. Id never visited this Allen location, where Beau makes the absolute finest Mr. Gattis pizzas! And you probably know already that Gattis pizzas are the best/beat the rest, hands down! For this visit, I had my 50th Anniversary Mr. Gattis mug AND my Mr. Gattis signature glass love cheese shaker, which Id purchased from another location during a hardup covid stretch last year- I thought that they would sell me any fixture in the store!! Well, Beau filled me up with ice, and parmesan spice cheese, and put extra sauce on my pizza as requested. Doesnt that irritate you when your simple requests are ignored or forgotten?? Well fret not! When you pick up a Gattis pizza from this location, its gonna be right!! Upon my 2nd visit in a row (on my return trip the next day), I asked Beau what it is that makes HIS Mr. Gattis pizza the best ever....Its right here, he said, placing his hand over his heart. Yep, when you value your customers, and esteem quality in all you do, your product will be superior!! Oh, did I mention that classic Gattis sauce, with perfectly crisped and delectable pepperonis hot from the oven?? Get there quick!!!

NO BUFFET! I don t know where the pics came from, but there is NO buffet at this location. And I wanted to give a bad review for being deceptive, but I ordered a pizza since I was there, and it really was good. And though the guy who seemed to be running things didn t put on a mask until after I walked in and he saw me wearing mine, he seemed pretty nice. I know the deniers in Texas like to believe we re all good and past it, but we re not, and maybe being around other people food, you should wear one regardless.

Gattis pizza is hands down the best pizza ever. this is not your usual cardboard box of sauce & cheese. The recipe gattis uses is superb, the provolone cheese is amazing, and there is nothing like it. as someone from Austin I was thrilled to find a Gattis in Allen - worth the 25+ minute drive from Princeton! The man who delivered the pizza to my car (I assume the owner) was so nice and made my day. if you havent tried Gattis pizza, I highly recommend you order! So the pizza was not BAD, but it did not WOW us either. I guess what set the tone was when we walked in to place the order, apparently whatever they use to clean the place had spoiled or something because it stunk to high heaven as my mom used to say. Something was rotten. Not sure if it was the mops or what. Whatever they use to clean the place, it needs to change. Back to the pizza, for the price, it was a little high for the size we got (two mediums for about $18 each) and they were a little small. A grown man could eat the whole thing. Will I go back?? Probably not soon but eventually, yes.

When I walked in, the man at the front counter, whom I assume is the franchisee, continued to talk on his cell phone while charging me for the buffet. He barely spoke to me because his personal conversation seemed more important. The food was ok, not great. The entire time i was there, which was about an hour, they never put out anything fresh. I made a second trip to the buffet and noticed it was the same that was there when I came in, God only knows how long it was there before I got there. The only good thing about my experience here was that it was nice and quiet since there was only 3 people in the entire restaurant, including me.

bland. tasteless. like uncooked toast. I would never buy food from here again very bland but hot and and nice to look at.

The price is ok at $10 per person, but at that price I was hoping for some better tasting fare. While the pizza wasnt cold, it wasnt savory either. Now the desert pizza was a different story. Several kinds and all yummy. Perhaps it will be different for you, but this is 2/2 for me.

Im only giving it 4 stars because the floors had food and trash on it through out the restaurant. The buffet was delicious and staff was really nice. It was also nice and quiet and was comfortable to eat and enjoy chatting with my family

My wife grew up on Mr. Gattis pizza further south in Texas. Since moving up to DFW she had been craving Mr. Gattis. We had tried some of the other locations (Richardson, and Plano) and she was excited that this was almost exactly the same as what she had remembered. Its a bit more expensive than competitors, but the quality is better in our opinion.
