It was originally a restaurant that I thought was the most delicious in Dallas. It looks like you changed the noodles you use for Jjajangmyeon. They really seem to use the same romaine noodles that Chinese restaurants use, but the texture is not very good. It really feels like Im eating undercooked noodles. At first, I thought it was undercooked, but the owners reaction was that she checked it several times and said it wasnt undercooked... I told her as someone who works in the food business with me, but she kept saying no. Its okay if I dont go, but its too bad that I can see the customers leaving.

I always like eating here. Its made on order pretty much. Its a small business. It is what it is. No idea the other comments. You get what you pay for. Small place in a strip mall. For the money, its perfect. Give the guy a break. This isnt PF Changs. Its a guy cooking when you order, what you order.

It looks like the bad reviews are from those who had American-Chinese food. Try their Korean- Chinese food like jajangmyeon (black bean noodle) $13, tangsuyuk (Kor-Chi version of sweet and sour pork) $20 for small, kanpoong saewoo (chilli shrimp) $41, and etc. Unfortunately, these menus are only written in Korean and its expensive. But if youre not on a tight budget, try them. The service is slow since the male owner is the only chef and the female owner serves the food.

Surprised to find they have a Chinese-Korean food menu. This is not just a Chinese takeout restaurant but it offers Chinese-Korean style food like jjampong and jajangmyeon and Chinese-Korean style sweet and sour pork. We order the 3 most popular Chinese-Korean dishes and the food was good. Glad there is a good Chinese Korean style restaurant in Allen.

My co-worker paid for our food, however, my co-worker never got the food they paid for, and the woman who was working behind the counter refused to acknowledge the order that my co-worker made, and refused to issue a refund. The gentleman apparently never rang up my co-workers order, and then he left shortly after bringing my food. Food was delicious, service was deplorable. There are plenty of better Chinese food options.

I had Vegetable Lo mein and Orange Chicken. Its so salty. It s too salty so I use it If you have a strong liver, you will get used to it, but I cant get over this order. The zucchini and cabbage in the lo mein looked fresh on the outside, but I couldnt eat them because they were so bitter. Still, the fried orange chicken was very good because it was crispy, probably because it was fried with glutinous rice. It was nice because it was neither soggy nor hard, just crunchy. Its just that I couldnt eat it because it was too salty... I failed the last time I had sweet and sour pork, but today the fried food was really good. There were a lot of good reviews so we tried it again, but Im not sure if we were just unlucky. May you prosper.

If you are looking for Guobaorou , the sweet and sour pork is not really what you are looking for because the sauce is not the same, but Id like to say that the pork itself has the wonderful texture with crispy outside and tender inside! Its definitely one of the best you can find in DFW area. Id come back to get the pork and make my own sauce on it, and it can be the most authentic Guobaorou

For the Korean Chinese food, I would give it 5/5. I got the jjajangmyeon, which is black bean noodles. For the non-Korean Chinese food, we got chicken chow mein, which we assumed would come with noodles... it didnt. It was chicken with vegetables, no noodles. My husband didnt care for it so I gave him some of my noodles, which made it taste ok. I will definitely be back for the Korean Chinese food, but I dont think my husband will be.

We had chicken chow mein, mongolian beef and bbq ribs. Pros: the ribs were tasty, the portions were very big (so big we couldnt eat it all). The staff were very friendly and the food was cooked on time for collection. Cons: not much choice on the menu. Both dishes were mainly fried onion and hardly any meat (probably why the portions are so big). The fried rice that came with the beef was just a block of stodge. The egg rolls that came with the chow mein had nothing in them. Personally I would rather have a smaller portion of food with more meat.

Absolutely horrible. As being a small business owner I dont like to give bad reviews to any kinda small business. This place used to have the absolute best orange chicken. I dont know if its new owners or what but the normally orange chicken was like re fried ten day old kung pao. The egg rolls were all breading no cabbage and we had 6 of them so it wasnt just one. The fried rice tasted like boil in the bag brown rice. The wife got broccoli beef and needless to say the beef didnt taste like beef the sauce tasted like beef bullion from a can. To finish off the meal the fortune cookies were stale. Ive had Chinese food from all kinds of places but I can actually say this is the first time Ive actually gotten disgusting food from a Chinese restaurant. I do not recommended anyone eat there unless drastic changes are made. If I could give less then one star I would.

Colored bubble wrap covering the front window to block the setting sun. 10 foot aluminum ladder and industrial box of soup bowls that should be in storage conveniently kept in the open. Entrance floor mats look like rodents have been snacking on the edges. Fast and friendly. Needs work. Too many good restaurants around to be so subpar.

The original MaBo was wonderful with the best Egg Rolls around, but each new owner runs it further into the ground. I just had the lunch Broccoli Chicken and it was quite bad. The fried rice is a sludgy mess, the gravy ruins the vegetables (which looked to be decent, but destroyed by the gravy), and the Egg Roll was a meatless tiny spring roll. They have Spring Rolls and Egg Rolls on the menu, but the lunch special is listed as Egg Roll. This was the last visit for me. Too bad...
