I ve been to this location on two occasions with my mother and we both had an ok time. The customer service was great and the food came out in a timely manner. I always order the guacamole appetizer and frozen swirl margaritas. I ve noticed the frozen margaritas tend to melt down quickly but the drink is still ok. The guacamole is always great but on my last visit it seemed to be a little less fresh. The fresh salsa and ranch jalapeño dip are good and I always get that to go! For food, I ve ordered crispy shell beef tacos and on another occasion the enchiladas. I can say I didn t like the sour cream based enchilada but the traditional red sauce was ok. They only offer refried beans (no charro) and rice with your meal. My mom ordered the taco salad on one occasion and enchiladas on the next. She did enjoy her food but had the same feelings about the sour cream sauce. Overall, it s your typical Tex-Mex.

There Motto : Best Decision All Day . It should say Worst Decision All Day . Passing through staying at Motel6 so I decided to order Chuys for my mom and me . I ordered her chicken enchiladas, tea, myself beef fajitas quesadillas, and a water . Get back to the Motel no silverware , or napkins . Called Chuys and explain to the manager he should talk to the workers to double check orders . My mom is 90 and was trying to eat with her fingers . I gave her my beef quesadillas and they were too spicy for her . Finally word : Thank you chuys for letting me spend $30 .on food to waste

Chuys is awesome! I always have a great experience here. The food is always delicious (dont expect super authentic Mexican food, its more Tex-mex) and the drinks are very good too. I love the frozen blackberry lemonade which is a LTO but I hope they leave it permanently, its one of the best frozen drinks Ive every had! I would suggest having more items to choose from in the menu and make happy hour more attractive as its only $1.50 off.

I was a little disappointed that we were kind of strong armed into sitting inside. The whole reason why we came here was to sit on the patio and enjoy some drinks outside. When we got there we were quoted a 30 minute wait to sit outside or we could be sat right away inside. I understand that you want to give all the servers a fair share of customers but if someone wants to sit outside let them sit outside. We ended up sitting at the bar and thanks to Ray (I believe his name is) he recovered our experience at this location. The drinks were amazing and the food was good as well. Just staff more accordingly next time.

We used to live Chuys, but post-pandemic they have gone down hill. We thought going to one in this area of the country, which loves its Tex-Mex, would be like old times. We were disappointed to see that wasnt the case. The chips and salsa are still delicious, as is the optional jalapeno ranch. The real disappointment was the baja shrimp tacos. The quality of the shrimp was just poor. I understand prices of materials has gone up, but it would much better to increase the menu price a little and maintain quality vs offer such a sub-standard product. Also, T shirts in stock were very limited.

We rented a space at Chuys for an informal brunch. The food was presented in warmer trays amongst lovely decorations, looking very appealing and fresh. Our lovely server was warm and welcoming, pot of coffee in hand, and iced water too. Manager Shane Floyd was very helpful with our floral decorations, as was the Maitre D. The music was light & festive. The food was delicious! I highly recommend this Chuys for meetings and informal receptions! Vegetarian options: Tortillas, cheese, lots of salads & veggies. I didnt see the menu, but my sister ordered a gluten free echilada, and said it was delicious. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu Parking: Lots of free parking! My wife and I were there last Friday evening. We sat at a table in the bar area. It took about 10 minutes before a server arrived to take out drink order. Keep trying to have a good experience with this Addison location but since the pandemic they dont seem to want to improve. I ordered five take-out entrees and was getting 2 one ounce containers of salsa and a SMALL portioned bag of chips. I walked in to ask if that was really it for FIVE entrees and they gave me the 8oz that shouldve come with it and another small bag of chips. Then she says I threw in the creamy as well-um, online order system says orders comes with both. The tacos al carbon tasted like chicken with lots of pepper, no flavor. Overpriced and bad service, every time since the pandemic. Check your orders before you drive off.

The food at this location is always great. They have a nice patio that is perfect for nice weather. Chuy s makes good margaritas and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. It s a chain restaurant and pretty basic but my team enjoyed themselves and they even gave us an extra special visit as they sang happy birthday to one of my AE s. The food was good and the atmosphere was eclectic and fun. What you would expect from this chain. This location is in need of some TLC. The thermostat was broken when we went and the server was in charge of an entire room of guests plus the bar. So between cutting fruits, preparing drinks, and serving customers, you could tell she was a bit backed up. Regardless of that she still managed to make sure her guests were taken care of.

As stated in my other site, this was the first place my late wife and I came for an after work late meal and meet up with her co workers. The ambience is good and the food is priced to provide good value to the consumer. The reason for taking off a star is because I wanted enchilada without meat. I asked for one chicken filling and one cheese as a part of their 2 piece portion and chose the Tex-Mex sauce. Only after having some portion did I realize that there is meat in the sauce. It was written on the menu as con carne,which I missed as I dont read Spanish, but the server was informed my wife is a vegetarian and I wanted to have just chicken, and she still did not point out that the sauce is prepared with meat as an ingredient

Straightforward options, friendly staff, good food and prices. Some of the best nacho chips - thin, crispy and the right amount of salt. The jalapeño ranch is great as is the traditional salsa. Go to are Chuychanga, In Yo Face Burrito and a Taco Salad that warrants more hype.

Our over 30 womens soccer team had end of season lunch, drinks and lots of laughs to go around. We were on the patio so we all sit together, the food was excellent and the service was excellent.

Alphonso the manager really shouldn t make agreement to make reservations for tables I had planned a surprise for my dads 48th birthday and he couldn t even hold a table that I had came a day prior and called an hour before the day of to reserve his excuse was that they don t take reservations yet we had talked about it the day before. So unprofessional really sad that this establishment has gone down like this just terrible management. Service and food was okay. I will be contacting corporate because this is just ridiculous you come to restaurants like this to have a good time and make memories and today was just a terrible memory so thanks Alphonso for that hope your happy ruining a birthday

Enchilada sauce very thick and no flavor. Said kids like this, dont think so. Placed 2 togo orders and only got 1. Location at North DallS Tollway in Plano much better. Food

I get it this is Tex-Mex but your options for food is very limited. To be honest I was disappointed. The local is big and regardless there is alot of foot traffic. The margarita I ordered had no alcohol but the portion was still good size. The piña coladas my friends ordered were small I was like that is more like a shot I did end up returning it tho and asked to have it remade it tasted nothing like a piña colada and once again they didnt have any alcohol taste to them either. The chips were bland there was a ranch/salsa dip they give you (tasted like ranch with jalapeños blended and lime juice) it was ok. All their salsas on the menu are NOT spicy and have no kick. The food was ok but the rice had a wierd taste. I dont care what anyone says tacos are suposto be corn tortillas flour tortillas its a burrito, everything here is flour tortillas. We did stay after closing chatting and I thank them they didnt kick us out they let us be till we finished. I dont know about going back but atleast I gave the place a try. We spent +$100 on 6 drinks, 3 plates, and a side of guacamole(which really was shredded lettuce and a scoop of guac on top to make it look like it was alot). So do what you must with that info.
