My wife and I just moved into the area and have been patroning this establishment a few times this week. Me being from NC, I threw them a curve ball on my hamburger order and ordered it carolina style (mustard, slaw, chili and onions). My wife looked at me and rolled her eyes and told me there was noone in Texas that likes cole slaw and laughed. I told her lets just see and sure enough they had to make the slaw from scratch and they knocked it out of the park. It was so delicious. It wasnt just a one time goof, because the second day was better than the first. I cant wait to eat there again.

Passing through and our family of 6 stopped here to eat. We ordered and received our meal very quickly, everyone really enjoyed the food they ordered. Staff were super friendly, if we lived nearby we would be regulars at this place!

I was passing through Victoria and decided to stop here for late dinner on the road. They have a drive thru. I must say, the burgers here are AMAZING! Totally worth the stop. I plan to stop here each time I pass by this place! I ordered the double burger combo with cheese and fries. I also ordered fried mushrooms, however I give those a 3 out of 5stars. Regardless, YOU MUST TRY THE BURGERS! The meat is well cooked and so juicy and flavorful! Love it, love it, love it!

Wonderful service with a smile by everyone that works there! The food is always fresh and full of flavor! I love the location as well, and the drive thru is never too busy, I always call my orders in ahead and they re usually just about ready when we get there

Got our food at the drive thru, and it was awesome, as usual! The staff is always very friendly and fast! If youre looking for good food, you cant go wrong with Country Express Parking: Park in the driveway, or if you have a trailer or boat, just pull up in the grass on the side! Kid-friendliness: Food thats kid friendly and theres room inside to corral your kiddos too.

I love this place, the food is awesome, and am a regular costumer BUT I ordered food today and they got my food wrong. I called them to let them know it was wrong, (it only had mustard and ketchup on it and was supposed to be mustard, ketchup, all the veggie s EXCEPT pickles, and cheese) and we were missing a fry and they said they couldn t fix it because they were closing. So I m like ok that s fine, maybe I could come get a new one tomorrow. The lady said yes but you ll have to bring that one back Like what..? So basically it was sorry you don t get to eat tonight but we ll fix it tomorrow if you bring the messed up one back. I m good I ll just eat my plain mustard and ketchup burger. It was still good though.

Nice enough place. The woman at the counter was pleasant. I ordered a chili dog, it was alright, seasoned fries were fresh, BUT if you like jalapeño poppers, dont order them here. I guess it was silly to expect them to be made on site, but $6 for a handful of really awful poppers was the only regret. Seriously.. awful poppers.

Been a patron since I was a kid. Lived in Vegas for 18 years, to come back and be elated to have seen nothing changed. Same great food made by the same great people. Only drawback or even remote issue, for a new customer would be, the wait. People need to understand that great things come with patience. This restaurant is exactly that.

Had lunch with friends. Decided to eat here because of location. The place gets 2 stars because the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, the food was on the lower end of acceptable. My burger and fries were cold and the taco shells were stale. Next time, we ll drive into town for lunch.

I had the fish basket . The fish was cooked perfectly. I asked for extra, extra, extra crispy fries. I also ordered a side of fried okra. They got the crispy part backwards so I had 3x crispy okra. I forgot they put seasoning on the fries . Not my favorite thing, but that was my fault.

Was there to enjoy a meal but received terrible service. My server Collette was preoccupied with her boyfriend that was there visiting her. She failed to give good or even decent service. Management should train their staff properly and forbid them to have visitors there while they are working. I will not be returning and I will also let my friends know about the service I received from this establishment. This server should be fired. Or management needs to enforce a policy where the employees boyfriend:girlfriend can not just come in just to talk.

This place IS NOT HOME COOKING!!!! It is frozen pre packaged processed food that you buy at the grocery store cheap. I will say that it was decent, and not a fast food burger joint, but a fast food diner. The diner and restrooms were clean so that was a plus. It was not bad, just definitely NOT what was expected by the reviews.

Country Express, for a small cafe, is really big on service and good, hot food cooked right. The staff is prompt and friendly, very neighborly-type ladies. They make really good hamburgers and French fries. Their gravy is good, too. I eat the chalupas often and they are priced reasonably and are very delicious, too. All in all, I recommend this cafe and thats not something I do very often. Try it, youll like it!

If you like burgers and onion rings stop in and see them. Order at the counter when you walk in then have a seat. I had the #1 with no lettuce and some onion rings. Good stuff. I recommend this place based on food, service, and price.
