Erica was a great waitress - attentive and friendly. The Aloha burger was excellent and I subbed onion rings instead of fries. Husband and nephew loved the street tacos. Started with appetizer of chips and queso - excellent fresh chips with seasoning salt. Queso not spicy (thankfully) and offered with pico de gallo for people who like a little spice. All the NFL games on, and didn t feel rushed. Parking easy, bathrooms clean.

Went here with my parents who were visiting from up north. We went earlier in the evening, which might explain why it wasnt overly packed and the service was plentiful. The food was great and the waitresses were kind and attentive. It definitely seemed like a nice place to catch a game with some good food, or just chill.

Walked in and was greeted by the waitresses, I went in to the restroom. And came back to sit at my favorite corner spot. The waitresses saw me & it doesnt take 3 waitresses to clean tables etc. I waited, waited & waited So finally I walked out and as I left, I called to complain but, Manger never got on the phone. Sadly to say it starts from the Manager and he or she are not setting a good example. Not coming back I will take my business elsewhere!

After having lived in Abilene in the 80s I was excited to go to Chelsea s again! We went for lunch and got the Machete Quesadilla and it is just as big as it is delicious! Staff is excellent and very attentive. Food was well prepared, cooked to perfection and the owner even came over to chat while our food was being made. Highly recommend, next time I m planning on trying a burger. Can t wait! Kid-friendliness: No issues with bringing the whole family to Chelsea s! This place is great and accommodating.

Our waitress was invisible. Never checked back. Had to ask other servers to help us. Then she tried charging $48 for a $40 check 6 times. Beware if you use a credit card here. Food was average or below. Typical bar fare. Cool atmosphere. To bar the serving staff is so terrible. Dietary restrictions: They had a protein salad. So keto friendly.

Our waitress was almost invisible. We had to ask two other servers to assist us with our needs during our experience. The food was good typical bar food, but we did have some healthy options. The atmosphere was awesome. The first card I tried to use as a prepaid and the server tried to scan it for eight dollars more than my bill. I m glad it was declined.

I can t deny their food was good, but nice does not cover incompetence. I was charged for items I did not order. Waited 20 min to PLACE my order that I lost patience to put in appetizers (their loss). I was going to order alcoholic drinks, appetizers and desserts. But nope. Again, our waitress was nice, but it does not excuse time management and incompetence. I appreciate the military discount, but I d rather get good and reasonable service.

Atmosphere was ok. We had never been. Wasn t sure on sitting. No one greeted us. We sat ourselves as we assumed that s what you did. Waiter was attentive enough. Food to me was ok. I got the backyard bbq burger. Nothing special about it. Meat was good. Fries were a little cold. Could ve been better. Prices were ok. Prob go else where for a hamburger. My bun was bigger than the patty. I ll go for a burger some where else bc just not the flavor I like. Mediocre. Also the guy I m assuming cooking should wear something on his facial hair. Js. Gross.

Food was Bomb! Definitely Recommend the Carne asada Fries, everything was priced right and my server Chessa was super sweet and very attentive and gave me and my wife a cute little bracelet she made to our four year old daughter that was throwing a fuss. the food and drinks were amazing, but every server besides mine seemed to be doing so well and tending to their customers ours was snappy and rude and taking badly about her other teammates and it wasn t fun for us sitting there wanting to enjoy our family time! Im easy to please when it comes to restaurants, but these chicken tenders tasted like high school lunchroom food. The same goes for the hand-battered cheese curds. I seldom rate food establishments but I cant imagine how they have good reviews. I would have returned it but someone picked it up for me and dont want to offend them.

So, I stopped in here for lunch and struck gold! It wasnt too busy, so I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered. The bartender, Liz, was amazingly fun! I also had an unexpected great time chatting with two older gentlemen who were having lunch at the bar as well. Unfortunately, I didnt get many pictures.

I live close by so I drop in time to time for a beer and some food. The place is very chill. They have several huge TVs for any type of sports you enjoy. It has plenty of seating without getting too crowded and cramped. There is a cheers type vibe that the regulars put out. The regulars range in age from 20s to 60+ its very diverse in all ways. The bartenders are very nice and great at mixing quality drinks and the food is great. I love the street tacos and the queso/guacamole and chips. Oh and lets dont forget the draft beer is ICE COLD! THAT is what keeps me going back again and again. I love beer when its got a small layer of ice forming on the foam and I gotta give them an A+ 1st prize for the COLD beer on tap. I highly and confidently recommend stopping in and trying those Street Tacos and Ice Cold Dos Equis in a Schooner! Im still loving this place. Been a while since I have made it in but I love this local watering hole!

Food is good and beer prices are better than most places. Wait stag has been hit or miss as of late. If they would step up the service and stop forgetting things like silverware, napkins and especially drinks I would rate higher. For example the last time we went in there we ordered two beers. A schooner and a pint. Can you explain y the pint didnt come out at the same time? And when mentioned to the waitress it took 25 minutes for it to come out. I am finding a hard time understanding that. I used to cut them some slack because we really liked the place but it is always something every time we go in. Its getting hard to forgive at this point.

Over $50 for two burger meals and 1 appetizer (nachos) that should ve been the first red flag I noticed. The burger meat was so nasty and unseasoned and it actually made us sick. The nacho chips were so thin and frail so of course they got soggy and inedible. 0/10 do not recommend.

I had the carne asada fries. Nice concept, but the steak was really tough. My jaw got a workout. The fries seemed a little tired. Also I am not a fan of Classic Rock and I dont think it creates the proper atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive. Terrible experience, wont be coming back. The waitresses were rude, unhelpful, and slow, and it was difficult getting service. I came here for veterans day with some friends. We were walked to our table, sat down, and the waitress said her name was Lilian I believe, it was super hard to hear her and she seemed unhappy, she asked what she could get us to drink, and we told her we heard about a veterans deal, she said ok and asked what drink we wanted, we asked what the veterans deal was and she said shell ask the manager after she brings us our drinks. It turns out there was no veterans day deal, then she just walked away before we could ask to pay for the drinks. We waited a few minutes and she never came back, we asked another waitress if she could please get us the bill and she abruptly replied Youll have to get with your waitress we said she hasnt come back and she replied with the same thing. We went to the bar tender, paid for our drinks, and walked out hungry and aggitated. 40 minutes of our time was wasted. We wasted our time and money here. My buddy went there the previously and said he spend $20 for a burger, fries, and a coke.

Food wouldnt be so bad if you actually got what you ordered.. however...the service is horrible. The waitresses stand around with their backs to the dinning room, or in groups chatting it up while customes are to seat themselves and just wait and stare....when we finally got noticed and food came out all 3 of our orders were completely wrong ordered chicken fried steak got chicken fry, ordered sweet potato fries and got regular fries, and ordered a burger and spacelifcally asked no toast guess what it was..toast everytime we tried to communicate with our waitress after she would ask if everything was OK she would start to walk off while we were talking...very unprofessional. Nit what they use to be when they were in the mall...We wont be back

09-11-23 - I have called three times to place a pick up order. 1st time I waited for about 10 min. then the line went dead. I called back a 2nd time and they asked me if I could hold before I could say yes they placed me on hold for another 8 mins. The third time I called they asked again if I could hold but I started saying sure can you tell me how long and please dont hang up on me but she didnt even give me a chance to finish before she put me on hold. So I will never try again to order from Chelseas Burgers NBrew on S. 14th St. If I am wasting their time for me to place an order that I am paying for.. then I will not waste my time also. I hope resturants owners & employees remember that WORD OF MOUTH is a strong way to lose business. You sure have lost mine.

There is nothing more frustrating than going to a restaurant and the waitresses totally ignoring you. My friend and I came in for an early dinner around 4:30. We sat down and were not greeted for 10 minutes then the bartender came over and asked what we wanted to drink. We both ordered water with lemon and she started to walk off as I asked for menus (Should not have had to ask for menus ..that s a given). A different young lady brought over our waters and we had to ask again for lemon. I thanked her and had to, once again, ask for menus. About 10 more minutes and a nice African American young man came and took our order. I told him when we were about finished with our food I wanted to place a to go order The order was prompt and awesome as their food always is but as soon as he left our salads he tired to walk off and we had no silverware. We nearly finished our salad and I ran out of my water and needed to place the to go order so started looking around for our waiter. He was sitting at a table with another of the waitress s who was eating a meal not looking around or coming to check onhis costumers, etc .. I waited another 10 minutes or so and walked over to where he was sitting and said I need to place my to go order and I should not have had to get up to come tell you that if you had been checking on your customers as is your job. He apologized and promptly turned in my order and brought me the bill. The reason I went as low as a two is because the bat tender (scantly dressed with dark hair and bun on top tattooed girl) was behind the bar using fowl language which is uncalled for in a public restaurant. This will not keep us from eating here as we love the food and come here with groups of our friends frequently but some training really needs to be done here.

I love to try out new locations when I get the opportunity and today was one such day, however I left hungry and unsatisfied. When I sat down the waitress came to my table took my drink order, came back with my drink, and after awhile came back to take my order. I was not offered napkins or silverware and was left to eat my appetizer with my hands. The burger I ordered lacked any real flavor beyond the BBQ sauce that was on it and the patty itself was dry, which is the opposite of how a burger should be. The brisket on top of the burger was over cooked, charred, and lacked the flavor one would expect out of a properly cooked brisket. So I simply stopped eating my burger, paid the insane cost, and left. The only saving grace to this meal were the hand cut fries, those were quite good, though they could have been a bit crispier, they were good. All in all id say this place is a bust and id take your patronage elsewhere and get a better experience for half the cost.

When a person calls and makes there order and asks about ranch dressing and told oh yes, ranch comes with that they just may EXPECT there would be ranch in the bag, unfortunately it was not discovered till getting back home out of Abilene and was not going to make the trip back to Abilene for some damn Ranch, and to note the person who ordered the ranch with their meal but got marinating sauce instead is allergic to the ingredients of marinating sauce and that is why they ask for the ranch

Not at all pleased with my meal. I ordered the appetizer sampler platter and the only thing I like was the taquitos and salsa. Cheese sticks were overcooked. Perhaps the grease they used was bad as the onion rings were also bad. The boneless wings - I hate half of one. Almost everyone at the table who ordered fried food experienced it overcooked. The child s meal with a corn dog was so over cooked that you could hammer it on the table and it sounded like a hammer. The waitress was nice and the beer cold. That s the best I can say.

I m sorry so many people have taken advantage of the service you provide both employees and customers here is a suggestion take an ID for the table to avoid this in the future because just the other day my girlfriend had a birthday and someone she knew went to eat and he walked out in his tab when she tried to make it right she got on blast on Facebook that s not his wife he couldn t afford to pay a tab you think he could keep the lights on. Dont know why we watched her the whole time as she was just chatting it up with the other workers. We finally get the beer. We then decided to order our food. Order chips and queso and our meal. We never received our chips and queso. She brought us our meal and I told her to cancel the chips and dip and all she said was my bad. Only came to our table once to offer my husband another beer and before I could ask for a refill she took off. Didnt even offer to refill my drink. She brought us our check didnt even bother leaving a tip. She rudely stared at my husband as she noticed there was no tip. Why we would tip whwn you cant even get our order right. Never coming here again

I used to recommend going to Chelseas to Anyone and Everyone, Not anymore. Been coming here regularly for years. Not as regularly in the last year because the Food Order Is Always Wrong. Sad part is the Girls are Amazing (most of them there are a couple i would never use as a waitress again) they know me when i come in and we all talk till I leave. The kitchen staff however seems to not be able to follow basic instructions, its like they can do what the Menu item is but Not if you ask for SIMPLE things... thank god Im not ALLERGIC to the items I Ask Not To Be On The Food, because we would have more than just wasted money for Wrong items. I loved this place but they REALLY need to Train their kitchen staff better so the food order isnt wrong 9 times out of 10. Today is the last time we are getting Chelseas for a Hot Minute.

My wife and I are new to the area and tried Chelseas for the first time tonight. Everything was top notch! Our waitress was attentive and friendly and even though they were busy our appetizer and meals came out super fast. The sampler appetizer was huge and their gigantic cheese sticks were fantastic! My wife had the Fire in the Hole burger which she loved and I had wings. The wings were big, cooked perfectly, and delicious. We also got an order of the bacon jack fries to go and they were delicious as well. 2 enthusiast thumbs up from us. We will definitely be back!

Hit the patty melt lunch special. Patty melt, fries, and a sweet tea. $10?! Thought it was a typo, but it was correct! Tasted like good home cookin. Bread was buttery and crispy with, what seemed to be, a hand pressed patty. Waitress seemed a little overwhelmed as several people walked in at the same time as us, but she remained attentive with that good ol Abilene hospitality. I work close and intend to have many a lunch special.

Was a pleasant experience. Went for lunch and had the Philly cheesesteak and fries. Was on the lunch menu for $10 total including a drink. Excellent value for lunch. Atmosphere was friendly. Had upbeat current music. Waitress was polite and timely with refills. Would recommend.

Went to Chelseas to celebrate my April 8 birthday with friends, before attending a play at Abilene Community Theatre (ACT). I was looking forward to having a frozen raspberry margarita (only place that I knew had it). Waitress informed the group that the machine for frozen drinks was broken. My friend asked if they have alcoholic cider, was told No. Looking back over the drink menu, we asked for Sangrias, and was told that they didnt have all the ingredients to make it. At this time, my friend asked, Well what do you have? The waitress pointed out the expensive drinks, but we just decided on sweet tea/soda. I ordered the 6-pc bone-in Southern wings, it came drenched in BBQ sauce (it looked like a full bottle was poured over it). So before I could eat them I had to wipe off the BBQ sauce inorder to taste the wings.
