About the Company

rating: 4.7

As a non-profit organization we are dedicated to the rescue of neglected, abused and unwanted exotic felines. It is our dream that one day there will be no need for rescue facilities, but until that day happens, we will continue to educate the public on the unique attributes and characteristics of our residents; the realities of irresponsible and/or illegal exotic wild animal ownership and captive breeding; and the need for stronger and enforceable legislation against those who abuse exotic wild animals. As part of our goal of educating the public, we offer scheduled group tours 7 days a week.

Great rescue! All cages have double fencing so never a concern of being too close to an animal. Each one has private yards most with waterfall pools. It is all gravel so something to keep in mind when walking. It is a decent amount of walking for little legs so we took the wagon with us. The only animals that are uncaged are the donkey, horse, goats, and cats. When parking you can go in the gate area and park near the yellow building which is where you buy tickets and can buy souvenirs.

Great rescue. The animals were very interactive and there were volunteers working with the animals throughout the property. We went self guided, but I think we would definitely try a guided tour the next time. The staff seemed really knowledgeable and passionate. There were a few goats on the property that were really friendly and not at all as aggressive as some petting zoos. Great experience overall.

These rescue angels are well worth the visit. One of my favorites was Kahn, a lion. He loved to roll and rub himself on pizza boxes sprayed with Aramis cologne. His mate was a white female named Sheila. Kahn passed away a few years ago, and Sheila got a new mate, but I bet she still misses that sweet boy.

All I can say is Wow! My son and I visited right around opening time this morning. You can tell that these beautiful animals are happy, loved, and very well taken care of! To quote my 16 year old son who does not get excited about a lot of things these days, was very excited about visiting he said This is one of the coolest places Ive ever been! When can we come back? This is so much cooler than a zoo! For just a $15.00 donation per adult, you can spend quality time with these beautiful animals! They also have lemurs, we are excited to meet the new Lemurs Kibbles and Bits. They have a free roaming donkey who seems pretty friendly, and goats that are very friendly as well (of course, pet ar your own risk) I highly recommend visiting!

They do an important service taking care of wild animals that need a home. They need donations for upkeep and visitors to see these wild cats up close and personal. Seeing lions and tigers in larger enclosures than most zoos provide is great. The place is huge and the cats have lots of trees to keep them out of the Texas sun. It is a great place to bring the family and you will be shocked at the size of real lions and tigers.

This place is a big cat sanctuary. They have several Tigers, multiple lions, and a few other cats. The tigers have pools to play in and hang out. The staff was friendly from the entrance to several encounters while walking around. The cats appeared to be taken care of, and their water was cleaned. If youre like big cats, there are plenty here, not just one or two like at the zoo. However, a zoo has a more variety of animals. Nice and affordable. Located in close proximity to the metroplex of Dallas, McKinney, Allen, and Plano. Please keep in mind that this is a rescue and not a for-profit organization. All workers are volunteers.

Thankfully the officer warned us about the tiger spray because it did happen, twice! lol! In Sync does important work. Go see them and support them.

You are only a few feet feet away from the cars as you explore the property. The staff was very friendly and would answer questions while explaining what task they were performing. The cats are rotated regularly to larger pens for exercise and other activities. It was great to read the different stories about where the cats came from. Definitely a great alternative to the zoo and very memorable experience.

Workers were great but the atmosphere needs an over haul. I wasnt even aware of this place and the only reason I found it was I was looking for something to do in Rockwall and this popped up. The tigers, lions were so hot and seemed very miserable. One was actually bleeding and had injuries that needed tended to. I did get some great pic; however they need to really clean up this place and put some work into the environment they live in. Over all staff was nice but animals do need space to run and play. There so much more I found to be disappointing but I know it takes a lot of time and money and patience to run a great place and I only wish them the best of luck I am still happy I went !

I took my wife to visit for her first time as yet, this was my second time being on the property. This time was highly unfortunate in regards to dealing with Brenda at the front. She was training Miss Gale who was absolutely incredible and very personable, unlike Brenda. It is unfortunate for Brenda that I do not look like the average guest who comes into In Sync, apparently based on her stares and lack of instruction on what to do next which was to fill out a waiver. Which again, I have done before but the staring was so loud she couldnt form a sentence to help speed us along. My wife went to the restroom and she told Miss Gale that I was waiting on my friend said in a condescending tone. We listened to all of the rules and regulations so we could be on our way. As we turned to leave ol Brenda again yelled at us that we didnt know the rules yet and to come back. To which we said, yes we do and weve sat here listening to them again and again, can we go now? Finally we were released. You would have thought the wild animals were not in cages and it was the wild wild west out there, but again because this wasnt my first time, I knew that wasnt the case. I hate that this was my wifes experience as her first time because now she doesnt want to return back when the Texas heat cools off and we can spend more time there. I hope Miss Gale sticks around, she really did love my Whataburger attire and their burgers too. Thank you for treating me like a normal (because I am) patron in your establishment, Miss Gale!

Idk if we just came on a bad day and due to heat all the animals were asleep or pacing back and forth in their cages but after spending 2 hours trying to revisit the animals hoping theyd eventually wake up we left. The staff were all friendly I will say that. But I wish I remained from donating until the end of the experience because it wouldve certainly made a difference in the amount I paid.

We went here on a field trip and it was so cool! We are wild cat buffs and have done a lot of research into the dark world of unethical animal encounter experiences. I really appreciate In-syncs mission and applaud their efforts. While the habitats are not as fancy as youd see at a zoo, you can tell they are well cared for and I appreciate how transparent the organization is. Unfortunately any zoo that claims to have a big cat breeding program for conservation efforts is intentionally misleading people since they are just breeding more animals to life in captivity. This is not the kind of place In-sync is and I really appreciate that and choose to support them for that reason. Would definitely volunteer with them if I lived closer.

I never thought there would be a closest place in DFW to visit so many wild cats in such a great proximity. This is, I believe, a little known to many, but is a good place to take your little kids to have a great look at the wild cats. So many reactions of lions and tigers can be watched so closely. That is a great feeling. Most importantly when all these are rescued animals.

We love going to visit the big cats and support them whenever possible. They are doing an amazing job of caring for the animals at the sanctuary. We hope to volunteer and learn more.

An awesome place to get up close with many kinds of beautiful cats, while not having to deal with the craziness of a regular zoo.

I have been a volunteer for 11 years at In-Sync and there is not a better rescue facility for exotic cats in the North Dallas area. The animals receive the best care, the facility is very well maintained and the staff are the best at caring for the animals. I highly recommend visiting. Fall is the perfect time too because the cats are more active.

Love this non-profit. They provide an awesome place for so many big cats that need a home when others no longer had a place for them. Great place to spend the day as well.
