Went in today for the 1st session on my cover-up! This is the 3rd time Ive had CR do art for me. The parlor is always extremely clean, and he always puts cross contamination at the top of his list. He is a master of his craft, and his personality is genuine! If youre looking for all of the above, youve found the right parlor!

Alterity in Wylie has done 2 pieces for me and is currently working on a 3rd. My back is still a work in process. Very Clean and sanitary, which is important to me. CR the owner is nice to work with and very understanding. He listens well, and works to provide a quality product. Im very happy with all the work. 2 of the 3 pieces needed to be hand drawn first before work. I really enjoy visiting this place, and working with them.

My husband and I had a great experience! We went there to get memorial tattoos and Clints professionalism and care made it an incredible experience! He did amazing work on both of our tattoos. His linework is superb! From the beginning idea, to drawing the art up, to the tattooing and the way it healed, its just all amazing! It was my husbands first tattoo and Ive had several tattoos and we will both continue to go see him.

Worst tattoo experience ever. The owner completely screwed up a tattoo. Apologized profusely and told me repeatedly that he would make it right. Went back 3 times as he tried to fix it and couldnt. Strung me along for a couple of months telling me he was working on a drawing to fix it. Finally sent me an email letting me know that his wife told him he couldnt work on it any more. He didnt have the ability or time to fix it. Sorry, good luck. What a POS. It was supposed to be baseball stitching. All he had to do was trace the template. This is the result. Shameful.

A previous bad experience with another tattoo shop left me very apprehensive about getting any more work done. After experiencing what it s like at Alterity Collector s Union and working with Clynt, I now feel so confident that I can take my ideas to him and he will make them 100 times better than what I can even envision. Everyone here takes so much pride in what they do and the shop is so clean. It is a very safe and welcoming environment. I never felt intimidated or rushed. Clynt is not only a beautiful artist but he really cares about your whole experience. I am so in love with my new tattoo! I got my first tattoo ever with Devon at Alterity. What stuck out to me was the time, attention, and professionalism that Dev showed me. Being my first tattoo, I had a lot of questions to ask, mainly about recovery. Dev told me exactly what to expect and he walked me through the entire tattoo process from start to finish. Walking into a tattoo shop for the first time can be a little intimidating but I felt comfortable there and not out of place. He also took interest in my story and it was not a get in and get out appointment which put me at ease.

I could not recommend this place MORE!! Nic was my tattoo artist and he was so great. I was very nervous about getting this tattoo and he was just awesome with me. I had a really bad experience the first time I ever got one years ago and he was very kind and patient with me when we discussed me getting one. Needless to say, it was nearly painless! I couldn t believe it! This was a memorial tattoo. Just my mom s signature, so nothing major, but Nic treated me and what I wanted with as much respect as if I was there asking for a whole sleeve or back piece. Everyone at this shop is so kind and professional! Definitely go see them for your next tattoo, you won t regret the decision!

Honestly the best tattoo experience I ve ever had. I ve gotten a dozen tattoos over the years and this was by far my favorite overall experience. The tattoo itself looks fantastic, but outside of that the overall experience was exceptional. Nic and Devon are two of the best people to be around. Very friendly and professional. Made a four hour session fly by. Great conversation the entire time and never a dull moment. Shop is very clean and you can tell they take every part of the job seriously. Wow, so many amazing things to say about this place. Jordin, my artist, was incredible. She was very open about expectations and realities of what I wanted, and quoted me accurately on price. The tattoo appointment was also a home run. She was very clean, made sure I saw she was using new materials and packages. The booths or little rooms they have is open enough you don t feel shut off, but separated enough you re not in jeopardy of cross contamination. Ego was non existent. No high-and-mighty attitudes here. You ll feel welcome and among friends. What a top notch place. The staff was super friendly and the place smelled very sterile and looked extremely clean. My young daughter got her ears pierced for the first time and Dana was so wonderful with her. She took extra time to make sure my daughter was comfortable. She took extra steps to make sure the ear rings will be in the same spot and level. She was also very thorough in explaining the process and the after care. Dana is a true pro! I wish I could recommend her more than just this review. They are truly amazing and great at what they do. If you know someone who wants to get a piercing or a tattoo, this is the place.

I just got my first tattoo on Tuesday night. I was very impressed by the friendliness and cleanliness of the parlor. It is a family business and you can tell they love what they do. Clynt perfected the design I showed him and then explained the entire procedure. I went to Alternity this afternoon with my daughter for a (my first) tattoo. I will admit to being a little nervous, but anxious as well. Jordin was very knowledgeable, compassionate, and encouraging. Since I have a food allergy, she went WAY beyond what anyone would expect to be sure I would not get ill from the ink (pigments). Jordin explained everything about the equipment, the process, and the after care. She made me feel (nearly) completely relaxed and assured with my decision to get my first tattoo! Jordin did an awesome job on my tattoo. I had picked out a seemingly simple symbolic design, but she was so friendly and patient with me in order to get the tattoo placed perfectly on the side of my arm/ wrist. She spent a lot of time to make sure I was happy and would continue to be happy with this permanent decision. Seriously though, the man is a surgeon with his tools - a creative genius. The precision of the line work (containing both thin and thick lines); the vibrant colors and blending; the exceptional attention to detail; it all amazed me. Ive always wanted to get a tattoo, but I always felt nervous about whatever pain I might experience while getting one. I finally decided to suck it up and just do it and scheduled an appointment with Alterity since they were the closest tattoo parlor I knew of. Clint was my artist, and he was just overall really friendly and interactive. All of the staff were, honestly. It was just a great, chill atmosphere and they helped put my nerves at ease. Clint thought my crochet bag was cool, and asked for pictures so a replica could be made which was AWESOME... And when I said this would be my first tattoo I was told that piercings were actually worse? I already have a cartilage piercing so I know how that pain goes, but I never imagined a tattoo would be less painful than a piercing, so that was reassuring! If I can get through a piercing I can definitely get through a tattoo. Getting it was relatively quick since it was so small, and I really enjoyed the process a lot. They also sent a follow-up email to check up on how it was healing, and I thats really nice of them. I appreciate the time and dedication they have to do things the right way. I will definitely go back here for my next tattoos-they are well worth every penny!

My friend and I were looking for a tattoo on a whim. We were suggested this shop from someone who works at a reputable tattoo shop in Houston where I usually get all my work done. I am very picky about the shop and artists. I am also a creature of habit, so once I find something I like I keep going back to it. Again, coming in without an appointment, we were immediately greeted by a very kind woman at the front counter. She was very helpful and informative. She was also able to give us a roundabout quote of what we would be looking at, as well as letting us know of the availability Clynt, the tattoo artist, had that evening. I was able to meet with the artist, get a very reasonable quote, and have the work done in less than an hour. My experience was amazing. It is also extremely important to me that the shop is clean and all tools and workstations are kept sterile. Clynt walked me through the process and reassured and showed me the new tools and workstation. The experience was very pleasant and enjoyable. I am glad I have someone local now to go to for all my work, in addition to my Houston trips. Getting a tattoo is definitely very personal and meaningful, and should the whole process from start to finish should help add to the making of this memory. I definitely felt I was in good care, was given suggestions as to my placement, and never felt judged. All in all the experience was amazing and I strongly recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely love this place! I personally worked with Kristie, and she is amazing! Such a talented artist! I gave her a very vague idea of what I was wanting and she drew up a piece that blew my mind! It turned out so much better than I even dreamed and I love it! She was great to talk to and hang out with! I look forward to collaborating with her in the future! Talked to Clint over the phone, came in for consultation, met him and his wife(theyre the owners) and came back later that evening to get a simple but lovely tattoo that Ive been wanting and it was exactly what I asked for!! Came in today as a walk in. The first thing my husband and I noticed was how incredibly clean the shop was, including the bathroom. They have awesome art work everywhere. I honestly couldnt see any trace of the covered up tattoo at all and Im pretty picky when it comes to ink.
