I went to this location on Labor Day afternoon. I went to order the Dip and the person immediately got an attitude. I made sure to say please and thank you to ease the tension. When she handed it over to the other server, I asked if I could get the guacamole on the side, she catches an attitude and walks off. She comes back after asking permission puts the guacamole in a container. I started to walk out at this point but I went on and finished and paid. Got it home and the chips were full of salt and the dip was full of grease. Never had that happen before. Most horrible experience ever. Super disappointed

I ve been visiting the Wylie location for years! Since the days of $1 breakfast tacos on Saturdays when High or East won their football games. While that tacos have gotten smaller and risen in price significantly over the years, the food, I still rave over. Monday and Thursday specials are my favorites. Which is what brought us in this week. Monday evening, boom boom enchiladas are my overall favorite! Two chicken enchiladas smothered in queso with cilantro on top with refried beans and spanish rice. The dish is already pretty spicy, but I request to add jalapeños and corn on the side for some extra kick and flavor. The cups of jalapeño ranch have also gotten a lot smaller, I just ask for more, and use it to dip the chips (free!) in or eat a couple of bites of my dinner with. I also like Thursday nights stacked avocado enchiladas. Good, but not as good as Mondays . They do get a bit busy, staff changes over the years, but overall, this remains a favorite go to for the whole family. Parking: There is plenty of free parking, if the front is full, there s more in the back.

My husband and I ate lunch here on Sat, May 25. It was a little after 1. We have eaten at this location a few times before. This time, it seemed like different staff, and most of the employees were so unfriendly. They seemed to be unhappy. When we checked out, the female employee made a rude comment to us. We asked for two cups for water. She gave us one. My husband asked for another cup. She said, You can get it. Please. The food is pretty good, but it is way overpriced. On top of that .they ask for a tip (like most places do). Uggghh

Ive been a customer at Chiloso Mexican Cuisine in Wylie for some time, and while I enjoy the food, Ive consistently encountered an issue with the salsa cups. Whether I order online or pick up in person, Ive noticed that the number of salsa cups provided is consistently less than what Ive ordered and paid for. Ive brought this to the attention of the staff on multiple occasions, hoping to see an improvement, but unfortunately, the issue persists. As someone who enjoys their salsa, this has been a disappointment and has made me hesitant to order online or through delivery services. I appreciate the flavors and quality of the food at Chiloso, but I hope they can address this issue to provide a more consistent experience for their customers.

$12 bucks or something for two street Tacos. Yikes. The place down the street will sell you a better taco for $2.50. The beer was barely cold I would guess 40°. The cooked veggies were loaded with tough seeds. Maybe there was a cheeper option for Tacos but the menu is terrible. Too Fancy. I was going to give them 2 stars but the more I write the less impressed I am.

3/17/24: We stopped by to place an order to go. We ordered three bowls and an order of tacos. Victoria was working the line, and she was very pleasant and friendly. She prepared our orders with care. I also spoke with Maria (manager). She was helping finish orders and was very friendly. She made us feel like valued customers and ensured that our orders were good to go. 3/8/24: We stopped by to place an order to go. Emely D was very friendly and she prepared our dishes with care. She was super pleasant and made us feel like valued customers. This location is very convenient and easy access from the street. There is plenty of parking, and the restaurant is very clean. I wanted to recognize Eddie for the outstanding customer service he provided while preparing my nacho bowl. He took pride in preparing my order and was extremely pleasant. This was one of my best experiences at this location. Thank you so much Eddie!

Staff was very passive and rude. When I asked a question about the menu the girl just looked at me and then told me the way I was interpreting the menu was not right. Then later in line another girl corrected the previous one. Lots of confusion when trying to order. The food was bland and very over priced.

EDIT: I dont know if it was a mistake or an update based on feedback they received, but either way I commend them for acknowledging the price spike in their dishes and bringing it back down to a reasonable price. For that I am raising my review up to 4 stars. I think the main dishes are fairly priced for their quality, and the service has been good lately. I am docking 1 star because I do think their premium meats and guac extra charges are a bit overpriced. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The food is good, but not sub-$20 per dish good. They have consistently been raising prices over the past 2 years. This most recent time was the biggest yet. And you still want to charge extra for the premium meats and guac? Sorry, but your food is not worth it anymore.

My husband and I went to grab lunch and took the food home. We have never been for lunch and they have won me over!! Queso is yummy and I got spicy shredded chicken build your own burrito. I was so excited to have the options of corn that did not have onions and tomato without onion. If you go to Freebirds or Chipotle everything has onion. Seems small but is very big to me. My husband got a bowl with fajita meat and chicken and he loves the jalapeno ranch sauce. Definitely my new build your own burrito place. Service was great as well and place was clean.

Updated Review 12/7/23: The daytime staff is excellent and the food quality is top-notch, though a bit expensive. It s dinner prices. The nighttime crew, a bunch of young kids (Gen-Z), really struggles. Its eye-opening to see this new generation trying to work, shaped by quick tech fixes and easy-going Gen-X parenting. They are all on the phone swiping left, while barely knowing where they are, at least it seems that way. I ve had so many orders messed up because of the broccoli haircut kids. What a time to be alive in 2023!

Disappointed it was our 1st time this evening..nobody explained the menu to us...we had 3 bowls. $47. Steak bowl not worth 15.50. And too saltly..flavor missing..other that all was too saltly..chips couldnt eat too greasy and bags were full of grease and no salsa for chips..small little condiment cups too small to dip chips..chipotle would have been way more tasty less salty and half the price..ambiance not so bad just very disappointed we expected better. Observed a couple of flies flying around the food bar and landing on food and food contact surfaces. Horrible customer service, rude and unprofessional. A lady- who claimed to be the manager- told me she will need to charge me extra if I ask for queso on the side in a tiny plastic cup, it has to go in the bowl to be included in the price. I asked her why she said because the amount of queso on the side is larger than the amount that goes in the bowl. Then I asked her to just pour into the plastic cup the amount of queso that would have been poured into the bowl and she said no. For them customer satisfaction is a very low priority. They will ignore you. The manager and another lady were sitting at a table talking like they were customers.

I wanted to give 5 stars, but my bank account told me I couldnt afford it. The food here is AMAZING. Truly delicious, and worth the money. However, the fact that Im spending nearly $20 for a quesadilla is just too much to brush off; again worth it, but for being a basic restaurant with a serving counter reminiscent of Chipotle, its a little on the pricey side. The service is helpful, and fairly friendly, and they get my orders correct even when I ask for last minute changes. Going back to the counter for things seemed to slightly perturb the employees; maybe a one-off, cause this is often necessary and theyre used to it. Just depends on which sauces you need, or chips you didnt get, or drink you forgot. The atmosphere is very laid back, easy to sit, chill and chat, and offers a chance to unwind from the crazy world. Whether youre getting off work or just ran some errands, its a good place to kick back and reward yourself. Be careful: you will want to break the bank on this place. The portion sizes are pretty good, and Im someone who eats a lot. So you dont need to order one of everything on the menu! Save other selections for future visits with friends who share your adventurous spirit for trying new things.

I have only had experience with Chiloso catering before, recently I received a coupon for 2 free meals. This made me excited because usually I love Chiloso, but when I went there it was an awful customer service issue. Most of the staff was more concerned with socializing than serving customers in a rush. Which is fine I get it work sucks sometimes, but what really bothered me was when I was checking out with the cashier I asked for extra white sauce as I did not know what it was called. The cashier then rudely turned to coworker in front of me and mocked me laughing saying she just called it white sauce. I get it people make fun of customers in the service industry. I was just bewildered she mocked me in front of my face as if I was not there. I get it, a food service job can suck and you try to make the best of it, but this was unprecedented.

Our first time at this establishment 3 people we get tacos and pay over 50.00. Sit down to eat and the chicken is cold so they give me cold tacos. A greasy bag of chips. Not at all worth a 50.00 ticket price. For a place like this you would think they could at least provide hot safe to eat at the correct temperature food. Now, let me add this as well. My mother in law was with us she got 2 Corn tortillas with chicken and guacamole that is it. Her tacos were 9.90 each the people who own this place charged more than we pay to eat at some of our finer places. I find this practice offensive and uncalled for. They are gouging the customer and giving us cooler cold chicken that the obviously pulled out of the cooler and simple dropped into the steam table. This is why our chicken was refrigerator cold and also why I had to eat elsewhere. Granted we arrived at the breakfast to lunch switch time but the very least they could do is make sure the food is being offered at the correct temperature. Everything I m complaining about here could have been dealt with easily by any employee properly trained in food service. On the pricing however that is another issue pointing right at ownership and the obvious practice most businesses are adopting now as our food costs continue to be over inflated. Making it difficult for everyone. Something I find sad and somewhat abusive.

Food spot on as usual. He ordered food for pickup and he was ready when they said it was going to be. Living here several times in the in the restaurant and take home. Never had one complaint. Enchilada platter is phenomenal in the borracho beans are the way to go without a doubt. Eat the whole serving at once thats okay because reheat still taste fantastic a day or two after. Youll definitely be ordering from here again soon. As I am a fiend city my authentic Mexican cuisine!

This is one of those places that employees get in personal and intimate situations and they allowed them to work together, this is the type of atmosphere were languages and legal status takes a huge part of this franchise that allows management to do as personal and take advantage of the employees. I few years ago plenty of times i talk to a manager and ask for human resources and the manager kept on avoiding on taking a situation to HR. This a place that the Hispanic ladies on the back get to talk trash in Spanish language to the non speaking Spanish co workers, this is the place that managers get to make their close seblings assistant managers. This is the place that adultery takes place between employees and managers and including the owner, this is the place were lovers of a husband and wives get to work together while sharing the same PaL0 under the same work building.

Made the mistake of taking my family to the Wylie Chiloso for dinner. The price was astronomical at more than $20 per person. The rice was NOT COOKED at all. They did not give us the correct sides that we ordered. The seating area was freezing. Ive been eating at Chiloso brand restaurants for over 15 years and this was by far the absolute worst Chiloso experience Ive ever had. I will not be visiting this location ever again.

Chiloso has good food. But, get ready to pay more than stated on menu. In addition poor service is what they have to offer. And! Don t expect management to take an interest in making things better.

Tonight we decided to give this place a try for take out after hearing positive feedback from friends. We did enjoy the flavours of the chicken Taquitos & Flautas. The rice and beans we didn t care for that came with it. Rice seemed over cooked and not flavourful. Beans just aren t our thing so we just tossed them after trying a bite, which was over done. Also we ordered a steak with onions & peppers for our son. He did not like the steak at all. I tried it and see why. It was way over seasoned, and chewy. Also it had mixed chicken in it. Which we only asked for steak. We also ordered a side queso, and guacamole. The queso was too spicy for my son, but I enjoyed the spice. I was just bummed on the size of a side for the price of $5.31. It was tiny! The guacamole was also tiny size, and priced at $5.62 with no flavour. It was just plain avocado. Our over all price for this order was $68.18. The price definitely doesn t match the quality of taste.
