Took my daughter to get a small chocolate shake. $5 for a small shake is crazy but I wouldn t have been bothered if it was made correctly. With as tight as money is these days it is very disappointing to spend that on a small shake that we had to throw away. It had about a 1/4 inch of choc syrup at the bottom of the cup. It was way too runny (probably from all the syrup), the ice cream wasn t mixed completely. It s sad when you can get a better choc shake from McDonald s than a DAIRY Queen. The shake tasted like a cup of straight chocolate syrup. DQ has lost a customer. That ain t what I like about Texas.

Ordered a Blizzard at the drive thru, watched the car in front of me be served a blizzard, send it back, and the recieve another. When I got to the window, I was handed my blizzard and noticed the top was melted. Figured the rest was solid, but after I drove off and finally tried to take a bite, it ended up being completely melted, like soup. Assuming I got served the rejected Blizzard from the car in front of me...

It is 2:00 in the afternoon, and 95 degrees outside (heat index 102). There is apparently no air conditioning inside this restaurant, because it is well into the 90s inside as well. What a miserable experience trying to eat in that heat. At least the wind is blowing outside.

Aug 23rd, Its been over a month now that these kids working here have been without AC. Shame on whoever is in charge. I guarantee if the AC was out at your house, it would be fixed within 24hrs. These kids are worn down, moral is low, and it shows in the service and quality of food being served. I also know health dept has told other restaurants fans are not allowed in food prep and cook areas. You know the blowing dust, dirt and germs around thing? Get it together owners.

Air conditioning not working. Hot as blazes in there. Worker says its been that way all summer, as if it was no big deal. The floors in this place are absolutely filthy ! Looks like the never been moped. There is a sewer smell eminating from somewhere not sure where. My sundae was handed to me melted. What a terrible place !!!

We received the wrong blizzards and when we told the lady at the counter she got upset and told us she is giving us what we ordered. When we looked at the receipt we could tell that we were right the whole time. They also forgot the cheese for my son s burger. While we were sitting down to eat our ice cream and burger I found ants crawling on our tray. Oh and the light above the table is broken and sharp.

order the number 7# on menu ( 3 tacos) received 1 and 1/2 tacos. One taco only had half the taco shell. Unbelievable at the prices today and only receiving half the order you paid for. Just went to get dipped ice cream cone took a few minutes to get someone to wait on us and the customer in front of us, ice cream was good as always but it was a little melted,. Was going to eat them inside but the place felt dirty to me so we chose to eat out cones outside. Place needs a really good scrubbing. Went back to have a meal and the place is still very dirty the floor looked like the mopped it with grease I made this review last year, very disappointing I use to love dairy queen I have had a lot of great memories going her with my daddy back in the day when they first was here in wylie. Also it was very hot inside as well. And looked like one of the windows was shattered. Come on Dairy Queen in wylie, Texas get your shot together so I can come and eat and recall all the times my daddy took me here.

The girl taking orders at the counter desperately needs basic training. Start with learning to welcome customers and say thank you, then go through the items you sell.. She has no clue how to find certain meal buttons on the cash register, so she keeps putting my meal order in as a sandwich and fries. Thats not the meal I ordered, and repeated to her 3 times! Every time she messes up, the young man comes out from the back, cooking, saying Ill fix it, and he does. Every single time! Getting old. Besides, I call ahead to get it done by the time I get there, because I have only a little time to eat my lunch. But once I get there, the wait doubles for having to correct my order. I let the first half of a dozen slide, but Im really getting tired of it. The guy who took my phone order, after I said hi, replied ha? Not a hello, never may I take your order, or bye from anyone. Where do you pick up these people from?! And after asking because forgotten, I received my small salad, with a piece of the plastic bag in it.

Went inside for a to-go order to avoid drive thru screw ups. When I walked in no one was at the front and I stood there waiting for someone to come.take my order. After about 5 min a gentlemen showed up took my order. Handed me two cups. I asked for a drink holder did not get one. Asked for a different cup as one of the cups was damaged. He had to go search for one as they were completely out of medium size cups up front. After getting my cup still no drink carrier I went to get ice, ice machine was out of ice. Got the two drinks, no lids for medium cups. Went back to the front asked for lids. He had to go search for them casue they were out in the front. Asked again for drink carrier as my two blizzards were ready as well. Finally another person came up and asked if I needed a drink carrier I told her I asked three times still havent gotten one. I finally got one after that. Then my orders showed up after that all in individual bags. I asked the gentlemen how I was suppose to carry everything Individually? He just looked at me, so I asked for one of the larger bags that was right behind him to put everything in. Honestly, this place used to good. People used to take a little pride in there work. Next time Ill drive the extra five minutes to Braums in Murphy. Ive given way too many chances to this place. I would suggest the same to anyone else. Its right off 544.

The chili looked absolutely disgusting and was about a tablespoon of it on the burger. My onion rings were burnt. I took 1 bite and noticed how disgusting it tasted. JORDAN the cook was best out of all FAST FOOD Restaurants I have ever had. The while time I ate my feet was dancing. I went to Dairy Queen August 5, 2023 in Wylie, Texas around 125pm that is why I gave the 4 stars. It was slow paste tables were dirty and floors was SUPERBSTICKY uuuuuuuug, and the edges outside at the door need to be trim down below the windows and the fence on patio. Bathroom had a odor like not cleaned. Jordan the cook got the 4 stars. Thank you our food was the BEST.

I got the Jalitos burger but its was Horrible, nothing like the pics, it had more bun than burger, also barely any Jalapeno in a sandwhcih thats supposed to have a lot especially according to pics, it barely had any lettuce so looked nothing like the pic. The burger was also extremely dry.. It costs freaking $8 for such a dry bland sandwich, ridiculous. I could go to McD for cheaper and much better quality.. Typical Fast food experience. We go for the frozen treats, and we always take it to go. It is not our favorite place to sit and eat, but it is okay if only there for a few minutes. Staff always seems irritated that people are dining inside, and it seems inconvenient when we ask for anything. Staff is probably just overworked, but the stress shows. The desserts are good so we come back. Id recommend using the drive through if possible.

About the only thing this place is consistently good at is, ice cream. Every time Ive tried a food project I have been really let down. I just got a premium hamburger and fries the bun was stale and hard and the french fries tasted like theyve been cooked many many hours ago. The root beer float was delicious. I placed an order online which included two drinks. I opted for delivery but when our order came, the drinks were missing. Their menu needs to be updated as the blizzard I wanted wasnt listed and should have been. The receipt was also missing from our order and when I tried to call to speak with management, their number wasnt working. This DQ needs a much needed make over and hire more mature employees. From now on, my husband and I will be going inside to order and then, we will double check it for accuracy and if that doesnt help we will be going to the DQ in Plano which received higher ratings.

My husband and I went at about 9:20 to grab some blizzards before they closed. We went through the drive thru and there was a young man taking the trash out. We pulled forward as he was walking toward the gate, to give him room to pull the trashcan through and walk through. When we got to the window, the same kid told us that we need to watch where we are going and not try to run him over. I wonder if management knows that their employees talk to customers like that. I gave it two stars because even though the kid was rude, the blizzard was good.

Went thru the drive thru today. Order came to $2.17 and we gave her $3. She dropped the change on the ground and expected us to pick it up! When I told her I wanted my full change back, she closed the window, stared at the change left in her hand, opened the window and gave it back! I guess she doesnt know how to make change without a register telling her how much.... Cones were watery but since we only paid $1 for the...or I guess $1.50 since she couldnt get the change correct, we didnt sweat it. Well just go into Plano if we want DQ again.

Peanut Buster parfait was made perfectly and the way it is supposed to be made. Just the right amount of fudge and peanuts which is rare, in particular from that location! But, the overall experience was turned upside down when I got the Bacon Club burger and it had huge thick almost stale buns with a little thin piece of meat that was dry and overcooked. It basically sucked. DQ used make nice juicy flavorful hamburgers like you might get at a bowling alley but no more! Yeah.. Wont be getting anymore burgers from DQ.. But I will be back for the PBP!

The burgers are just OK lack being put together with any standard. Four of the same burgers eat one was a little different one was dripping sauce forgot picked but one with pickles had no sauce . One had cheese on the bottom no sauce no pickle and some funky red drops with no taste. The back was more interested in jaw jacking than making food. Only saving grace was the cashier apologized for everything that doesnt happen anymore. He is the only reason I gave 4 stars

Its a drive through fast food chain with horrible service and overpriced food. Everytime I come here I order the same thing and it seems like they always make it different everything from the simple burger to the Dr.Pepper. Its always wrong, its like you get something from the person next in line or behind you. It doesnt help that the clerks at the window are very short with you and dont provide simple customer service like,Have a good day. Rather closing the window on you. Id recommend going next door to Chick FIL a or if youre in the mood for something like a blizzard, get Freddys Custard. All of these options are cheaper for multiple people and will leave you much more satisfied after you finish your meal. Yall have a good day.

Went through drive thru, Ordered #2 no onions. Had onions, Ordered Taco meal with no tomatoes. Had tomatoes. Ordered Steak Finger basket extra crispy and they werent. Also got 2 kids meals with drinks and ice cream. Order was put in right per my receipt. Line cooks just didnt deliver.

I got a small blizzard the other day and the cup was like a mini. It barely had any icecream and it was almost $5 just for that. Y all used to fill the blizzards all the way up with way cheaper prices. I would appreciate it if y all make the sizes bigger or prices cheaper.Thank you

I rarely post reviews that are negative in nature. However, I have attempted to stop by at this location at 9:40pm on 3 separate occasions only to be told they are closed. Their open hours per their own sign have them open until 10pm all week.
