We ordered takeout tonight mainly because I was really in the mood for queso fries, but they also make really good burgers! We both ordered the Rudy burger which comes with jalapeños, grilled onions, and mushrooms. They were perfect and just what I d been craving! The burgers are cooked about medium, but not overdone. But I absolutely love the queso fries. The queso is queso-y and the fries are not too thin and not too thick, some are a bit undercooked but for the most part cooked perfectly. I ve only eaten here in person once because it s not the most inviting dining area, but for takeout, this is 10/10. I ve seen some of the reviews regarding the cheesesteaks and I d just say that you re ordering cheesesteaks in downtown Wylie, TX. You get what you get. The burgers and the queso fries are delicious Never had to wait more than 20 minutes from the time the order was placed. I always pickup togo myself and don t rely on delivery services. First time visiting location Atmosphere is not great, bathroom was extremely dirty , too bad I ordered my lunch b4 using their facilities, other wise I would have left, cashier was friendly for the most part , kept everything short , food wise cheesesteak was mid , fries basic , wasnt impressed, there are many cheesesteak chaines way better. Maybe Ill try different location , this could be a miss or hit, whos knows idk

Sent my husband up for dinner as we love cheesesteaks and never had an issue. Spent $50, tipped well, just to come home and see a underwhelming $9-$10 sandwich. Called and spoke to someone. They said this is the same amount of meat they always use. Offered to make more meat if I wanted to drive back there. Ive never been able to see through the bottom of my sandwich or close it like a peanut butter sandwich flush. In this economy, Ill take myself to subway which I dont even like because theyd fill a sandwich up. Unfortunate to lose customers but our family wont be spending money there anymore. Im supposed to tip on the screen when I pay before I even know if the service is good or food is right.

I ve been coming to this place for over three years and this is the very first time I d have to say they did terrible. There was barely any meat on my sandwich, if I wanted to eat bread I would have ordered pizza. When I called to see if there could be a solution no one helped. I m currently on the way back to get a refund. This is a bad look because I WAS a repeat customer. Good luck.

Came here around Feb 18th 2024 and it was phenomenal. Good sized sandwiches and for two people two drinks it was over $30. Came back March 6th 2024 and there is maybe half the amount of meat on the cheesesteak. Not sure why it was so cheap the second time we came. I was the first out of my 2 friends to order. Not only did I wait like 15-20 min AFTER my friends got their food, but I also watched everyone else in the restaurant (like 8 people, not much) get their food too even though they came WAY later. I asked the dude at the counter if my food was still coming and he said huh? uhh give me a second, and Im like No problem man and go back to the table and wait. After waiting another 10 - 15 minutes I spot them (from my seat, I wasnt trying to be nosy) in the kitchen not doing anything whatsoever. I go back and the guy is like Nah I definitely put your order on the table. Im like Uhhhh? Because I witnessed my two friends get their orders, but the guy never came back for mine. Now hes saying this as if I an entire peppered cheesesteak and side of queso fries was hiding under my napkin. Im not gonna go into too much detail of what happened but apparently he just accidently gave my order to my buddy instead of me (we ordered *almost* the same thing). This obviously means that is was his order missing, not mine What makes this so bad is that they were obviously bothered and visibly didnt believe me like I was trying to run a scam on them for free food, but here me out: Everything about my and my friends order was the same, except I also got some queso (I didnt find this out until WAY after) but either way, a whole order is missing and I want what I paid $20 for, man... then they were like I guess well make another one. (By another one I mean an order of a peppered cheesesteak and a side of queso fries) So Im like Thanks, I appreciate yall (they ignore me and walk off) and I go back to my table. Keep in mind my friends have been done with their meals for a while now (no big deal, we had time to kill). Later he comes out with the sorriest looking, meat-lacking (when I say meat-lacking, I mean you can see the BOTTOM OF THE BREAD), lackluster sandwich I had seen in years. I wanna be clear and say Ive been here multiple times and the sandwiches are never a problem. In fact, I always love them. This time it was clear that I annoyed these guys by just wanting to eat something THAT I PAID FOR. That wasnt even the worst part. The MGR (I think, not sure) walked out with some fries (they werent queso fries, they were regular fries, I repeat REGULAR FRIES...this means no queso AND SMALLER) and said, Youre quesos right there, and pointed to my friends plate and left........keep in mind that I really dont care about sharing queso with my friend, but by the time I FINALLY got my food, this queso that he pointed to was already half gone, room temp. and solidified...any fry that I tried to dip in there just crumbled like it was being pushed against a wall. I could tell these guys didnt wanna talk to me anymore so I just left it at that and ate my food, but holy...for me to pay like $20 with a tip and then wait that long only to end up with the sorriest meal ever...I already know in their eyes Im probably just another annoying customer who seemingly just wants free food. I would say Im not coming back again but usually my experience here is good. This was just an unfortunate situation but it really says numbers on how theyll deal with stuff like this.

We went to the parade in downtown Wylie last night had never had a cheesesteak sandwich here... Was it wondering if it would be good...OMG absolutely positively loved it... I added mushrooms to mine... They had many choices of sauces to put on it if you wanted to... I chose this special sauce made with ketchup, mustard, barbecue sauce and banana pepper juice... I just put a little on my sandwich to try it first... Took a bite... It was so good I covered my whole sandwich in it... The sauce was yummy the sandwich was yummy... I havent ate a whole lot of Philly cheese steak sandwiches and my life but this one was the best one I ever had so yummy!!!

Husband worked late and me and the kids went out. He was craving wings or chicken. Neither golden chic or KFC would drop chickem at 930 because they close at 10. And both were out of dark meat the only thing he likes. Husband suggested I see if Cheesesteak House was still open. I drove by and they were but only another 15 min. They were more than happy to make 12 buffalo wings for him. So very thankful for their always great customer service. Traveled to Wylie for two different events and both times ended up here because we like cheesesteaks, I would definitely eat here if I m in the area and craving the sandwich but I wouldn t go all out of my way to drive the 30 miles again. The size of the meal is good, the bread is toasted and soft, plenty of fries, except that the onion rings portion is kinda small, would be nice to get a few more for the price. The service is good, the cashier even brings it to your table and gives you 5 bottles of sauce. Plenty of paper towel on the table. The taste of the food is good however I am not a fan of the wings, I like them more juicy and not as dry but the wings were a good size. Free refills on the drinks is cool. The place is neat, not the newest looking but it is a cheesesteak spot. I would give it a 3.5 if I could but the rating system won t let me, if your in the area and like cheesesteaks give this place a try. The taste is consistent, large sandwich, lots of different add ons, friendly staff and quick hot service.

I saw good reviews on this place so I decided to give it a try but I am disappointed on the quality of the food. I ordered a large cheese steak with fries and a drink. It was just a mess. The sauce was everywhere. Inside and outside of the wrapper. All over the underside of the bread that made it impossible to eat without getting your hands covered in sauce. Its not a true philly cheese steak as the beef they used was ground beef or a chopped up burger patty unlike the traditional philly cheese steak that is made with thinly sliced beef.. Also on the salty side with all the sauce on it. The fries had good seasoning but it was beyond soggy. No type of crisp to it whatsoever. Extra 4% charge if youre not using cash. Not impressed and disappointed.

Honestly. Just no. Its a good try but I would not recommend it. Ive had real Philly cheese steaks and this was not it. Dry meat, lacking cheese, lacking the onions and peppers. The queso was super runny. Like they added water to make more of it. Pro tip: just get yourself some canned Rico brand cheese . Best cheese hands down. The fries were eh. Just normal fries. The chicken nuggets for my kids were overcooked and hard to eat. My 1 year old had a tough time with them. The salsa was a little too salty. The total for this meal was a little over 43 dollars. Absolutely not worth the price. We had leftovers we did not take with us.. Ill stick to the cheese steak place in Allen from now on. Also, editing: they have no baby changing table in the womens bathroom. So I had to change my infant in my car.

Wondrously delicious. Im pretty particular when it comes to cheese steaks and this place absolutely passed the bar. While I am from no means from Philadelphia, I still know a good cheese steak when I eat one! I cant speak for the rest of their menu but hello, its called the cheese steak house for a reason. I recommend this place and will be coming back.

Came back to this place today with the thought of a second chance. Everbody has a bad day. And as i figured i was mistaken. This place is small wich is ok. Football playing on two of three screens. Wich is also ok with me. I come in place had 4 employees in the back. And three people in the lobby. I ordered a beef philly with onion peppers mushrooms. Extra beef and xtra cheese. Had to pay xtra for the peppers mushrooms xtra beef and xtra cheese. It made me excited knowing they used Amarosas bread. But as i got it home I opened the sandwich. There was vey minimul veg and no sight of any cheese any where to be seen. I went into the establishment with the hopes of redemption. Boy was I WRONG. It was only after paying an addtional charge for grilled jalapenos taking it home and then adding Lowerys season all and tony sacheries did i find it edible enough to eat In my opinion the worst philly in Wylie texas. And rates right up there with one of the worst in texas. I will not ever go back to this place or any of there other two establishments

Second time I ve ordered food delivery through YELP and Grub Hub and did not get my full order. The combo meals force us to add fries and a drink. But seems drinks don t get delivered. Delivery person ignored my text. Grub Hub got my money back and told me to reorder. Not convinced that would work since this has happened on my last 2 orders from this restaurant . I will not order from this restaurant again. I think Yelp and Grub Hub need to be replaced as well. Too many people in between and no one wants to take responsibility. Force me to buy drink and fries but doesn t deliver

Cheese steaks are pretty good, got the special which is a buffalo chicken, thing was a little wet but thats probably my unrefined cheese steak preferences talking. A little light on the meat bit thats probably just me.
