It cost me $77.00 for Big6 BBQ to deliver me 1 pound Beef Tips, a BBQ Brisket Sandwich, 1 BBQ Beans and a 1 Small Potato Salad. The Beef Tips were seasoned very well but, EXTREMELY over COOKED, the tips were the SIZE of a QUARTER and an 1/2 INCH in LENGTH. My CHILDREN and I were very HUNGRY, I heard the were a nice BBQ Business and I mustve caught them on a VERY BAD DAY!! However, the customer service is OUTSTANDING but, I will never order from Big6 BBQ again paying $77.00!!

I had the 3 meat plate for $29 They have a rewards program which offers discounts for repeated customers. The brisket was tender and smoked very well, their sausage was absolutely delicious, I ve never tasted sausage that smoked and flavored!! I will definitely go back when I m the area and want some good bbq!!

I am blown away. The service was great from the moment I requested information about catering all the way to the very last bite. Everyone was very attentive and helpful with suggestions for the party I was ordering food for. I felt incredibly taken care of and comfortable taking any advice that was provided! Okay, but now the food. I might as well go ahead and say this could very well be the best BBQ in Houston. The chicken was moist but cooked well. The ribs were fantastic, I didnt even have to bother with slathering additional sauce on them. The brisket was PERFECT from the bark, to the fat, to the overall flavor. Im drooling just thinking about it again. We got smoked beans (wayyyyy better than I anticipated), potato salad, mac and cheese, and Cajun rice. I wouldve been happy with just the sides but the meat truly blew me away. If you have the opportunity to try Big 6 Bar B Que, DO. IT. Our employees wouldn t stop raving about the smell and flavor.

I just placed my first order through Uber eats. . . Bad decision. . . The food arrived beaten and drained, the packaging they used for the sauces was opened and thrown away, everything was beaten inside the bag. .. . And not to mention the pork ribs, they were dry and hard , impossible to eat, the accompanying bread is simple boxed white bread , if I had known I would have taken a few from my pantry. .. and for what I paid, I will not order here again I felt robbed.

First off I want to say that the gentleman at the counter was super friendly and courteous. As far as the food . I just got half a pound of brisket but let me tell you . It disappointed. My family member got a bad stomach ache from it and said it didn t taste right. I didn t believe him so I ate some as well. It was worse for me, I never had such a bad stomach ache and nausea/vomiting from bbq before . Suffice to say I will not be returning unfortunately . I don t know if I got a bad batch but I do not want to risk it again . Update: it is the next day and we for sure got food poisoning. Just an FYI for anyone risking to try it .

The worst bbq sandwich I have ever had. The bun was dry and damn near choked you and most of the brisket was just fat, sausage was good but other then that a giant waste of $$$..... for the price you pay you might as well go on down the road and get a decent meal elsewhere.

The sausage and brisket was good (although the brisket was not well seasoned). The chicken and ribs were overcooked. Extremely dry. The Mac and cheese was ok. Needed a bit more of cheese and butter. Peach cobbler was ok as well. The potatoe salad, beans and yams were good. We will stick to Ray s.

I first found out about Big 6 BBQ while attending the TriStar show at NRG. They were the closest food option there (Chick-Fil-A was closed already ) after walking around for hours. The staff there were friendly and quick! I had gotten the BBQ nachos (don t remember what it was called exactly), and let me say that it was THE TRUTH After looking them up online, it said they had a location close to home! So I made it a goal to check them out one day going home from work. Today was that day. I tried their BBQ Brisket Burger today and they DID NOT MISS And also, the gentleman (I believe he s the owner) who helped me was very welcoming! I am not sure why this establishment isn t more talked about! They should be on the same level as Turkey Leg Hut! I know its 2 different things, but still. As a matter of fact, I d eat here before I eat at TLH (nothing against them). We need all the Houston foodie bloggers to check this place out and help get them noticed. My new favorite BBQ spot. I will definitely be back!

Didnt have much Interaction with anyone besides when I order my food that was cool. Wanted to try something different, but unfortunately I dont think I will be going back. The rib tips were one of the two good things everything else a waste of my 24 dollars. The ribs were smoked but dry, the mac and cheese were noodles and seasoning I tasted not one thing of cheese didnt see any cheese. The smoked beans were my other favorite thing. If I had to choose one. But your visit may be different from mines. Not worth me wanting to try for a different experience.

Ordered the two plate at the truck outside of the auto show. Probably one of the worst BBQ places I have ever been. The brisket was dry and hard, the sausage was disgusting, cold and dry. I grew up in a household where my parents bbq every weekend on our little Old Smokey. So I know bbq and I don t eat just any bbq. It has to be smoked, seasoned well, and not smothered in bbq sauce. This place was everything I wanted and more. The jalapeño sausage were so flavorful. The guy at the front told me they were homemade. The smoked chicken breast was so juicy and full of flavor. The wait time was a little longer then desired but I know good food takes time. I ll be back next week. I may call ahead next time.

I gave this place more than one chance to keep me as a customer. Ive been to this place about five times. I travel for good brisket. About twenty miles one way. The brisket was great had flavor and a smoke ring. The second visit the brisket wasnt nowhere near bbq. Looked liked it was cooked in a oven. I spent over twenty dollars on this food. I didnt want to leave a bad review. I gave the owner a chance to fix it. He did just that giving me a gift card. Finally, I returned after a few weeks and had a great conversation with the owner. I ordered the 1/2 pound of brisket. There was no need to check my food. I received it from the owner . Well, after my twenty minute drive home... to my disappointment This oven cooked brisket found its way back in my life Sorry to say that I wont be returning.

We attended a neighborhood event that Big 6 catered. Were glad we went because Big 6 was very good and we got to meet a lot of our neighbors, very nice people. The brisket was very tender and oh so tasty, the sausage and the chicken drum stick was just as good, the beans and tater salad were very good. I never understood the hype about Texas Bbq because it was always smothered in sauce or no sauce, tough and bland. Their brisket taste like a freakin smoked marbled rib eye. Plus the sauce is on the side, which sometimes I dont even need, but its still good. I get a smoked potato with marbled brisket on the side, then head home and add a nice glass of wine. Its like my quick steak dinner without the huge price. #winning My kids love the crackmac and big6burger.

DO NOT HESITATE to order any (or all) of this heavenly BBQ!!!! We just ordered a bit of almost everything and LOVED every single bite ! This is now my go to for BBQ...forever. Great portion sizes, excellent sides, and perfect ratio of lean to fat on the brisket. Dont forget to add the sauce and finish with a lovely peach cobbler. Never got to experience the food. The location was not where Gooogle Maps say the facility is. And it is NOT a facility. It is a ROACH COACH, which was CLOSED when we got there SATURDAY 01/04/2020 @ 3pm. Nothing against Roach Coaches just wish it was opened when it said it would be. Just bought the Big 6 Nachos and it was worth every penny!! Big portions of chips cheese and they didnt skip on the chopped brisket. Dont forget to ask for jalepenos and onions on top. I will definitely be coming back once a week to try different combinations..

Too $$ expensive here for return trip. $43 for 2 persons to eat without drinks. Wont be back. Friendly staff. Meat quantities were finitly measured. Rib pieces served with too much grisel that is like soft bone. For what we paid, there should have been more meat.

The wife and i ordered 3 lbs of meat; the brisket was marbled and juice, the ribs were smoky and amazing, the deer sausage was to die for. Unfortunately, 3 hours after consumption we were violently throwing up and had terrible stomach pains. Im not certain why we got so sick...maybe the meat was old or left out a bit too long. Its very unfortunate because the flavor was great. Now Im too scared to try again

I will have to 2nd Marcos review about the Big6BBQ Nachos as I just picked up my first order from B6BBQ and there was maybe 2 or 3 ounces of chopped brisket on nacho chips with very limited cheese. To give you an idea of the size of the 10 dollar nachos, they where served in smaller hamburger to go box. The bbq sauce and jalapenos are served on the side and the overall taste quality of the nachos was good and they will get a second order from me soon trying thier BBQ meats and I will update.

so i work on hway 6 and i always pass by thought i giv it a try i order big6nachos and am a bit disappointed that on the photo they advertise on the truck the plate has lots of meat and cheese and jalapenos when i get to open the box to eat there was very little meat and cheese had no choice but to eat because i was in lunch for $10 nachos is not worth it didnt even finish the nachos because there was very little meat i wouldnt go back for that

Ordered a 3 meat plate. While the brisket was cooked to the right tenderness..it lacked smoke flavor. Almost pot roasty. (Wood was used, as you can visibly see it burning on the firebox on the side of the trailer). Ribs were also tender, however lacked smokiness as well + the rub was too strong. The (homemade..) sausage was the one gleam of light. Had a nice texture and was on the border of being dry..but wasnt. Had a decent moistness. Bbq sauce too sweet for my taste, but to each his own when it comes to sauce, as I prefer my bbq without it. Potato salad was good. Beans were also good. I cannot speak on the remainder of the meat (chicken, etc), as I ordered brisket, ribs & sausage. When I arrived..I ordered through a dirty screen that i couldnt see through. The person continued to take my order like this. Wouldve been nice to put a face with the person taking my order. He opened it once it was time to take payment. Also, it took almost 10 minutes to put my order together. This is a bit too long, considering I was the only customer. Nonetheless, the young man taking my order was very courteous & respectful. I wouldve given a higher rating..however the total lack of smoky flavor did it for me. Afterall, when I lay down my hard earned money for a craft such as smoked meat..I expect smoky flavor.

I had a chance to sample this BBQ at an event. It was the absolute best chicken, sausage, sauce, brisket, yams, and potatoe salad Id ever had. A week later, I visited the location on Hwy. 6. It was a totally different experience.

Ordered 3lbs of sausage, rib and rib tips one pound each. The tab is over $40, only the sausage is worth one pound the ribs and tips are probably 1/2lb each, if you were gonna lie, at least make all of them weigh the same so it will more sense. Dishonesty is the end to a biz no matter how good is your food Ill never go back again.

Im not a native of Texas so Im having trouble finding good bbq, I was born and raised in Louisiana which is totally different that the stuff they call bbq here in Texas, Ok first I disliked the fact that this one man in the trailer was closed up preparing my food we could not see what he was doing red flag, next the brisket was dry and unseasoned, the ribs had big bones in it which adds to the weight when you purchase by the pound which means you get less for your buck, the sausage I would say was the best part however it was slightly salty, we purchased the 3 meat for $15.75, now be aware that you can purchase the 3 meat with potato salad and beans for $15.25, when we asked what the difference in the $0.25 we were told you get more meat since you didnt want the sides in your meal, when we got our package with our food the package was less than half the size of a full plate but we paid for a full plate of meat, we will not be visiting this place again, lastly there is a snow cone stand right next door to the big 6 bbq trailer, these guys sell excellent snow cones you will be better served buying a snow cone than spending good money on bbq you can do at home yourself. being from Louisiana I cook a better bbq than these guys, if you like bland food please stop at big 6 bbq, but if you love well seasoned bbq cooked right, find yourself a true Louisiana resident living in your area,

I just want people to know how good Big 6 B Que really is great, My family have been eating there far about 3 years and everything have been great. The meet is always fresh and tender. The food is Smoked so well it like standing in the B Que Pit. I have bought a Smoked Turkey and a Fried Turkey during the Holiday Season and the food was Fantastic a Feast for a King and Queen. All I can say as Long as Big 6 is there I will keep coming Back!!!!
