Pros: quick service, friendly staff. Standard breakfast menu. Food served hot. Biscuits and gravy excellent, chunky sausage gravy and crisp biscuits, a full meal. Bacon perfectly done. Cons: no diet Pepsi, only Pepsi Zero. Coffee very strong. Denver omelet used an unusual (spicy?) cheese, wont order that again. Very nice country atmosphere in a very old building. Bathrooms need thorough renovation.

This will be my new favorite breakfast joint. Food is amazing, the people are super friendly, inviting, and helpful. Breakfast burrito is really good and filling. All the entrée plates are big and filling. The special was brisket omelet, and was delicious Parking: A few other businesses are nearby. If its crowded, then parking may be tough.

This is my favorite breakfast place in Wylie. mom and pop place with friendly staff and solid food. If you ve never been here they give you a free pancake! I ordered chicken fried steak with hash browns eggs and toast. I ve been here twice. I love that it s right next to islamic center of Wylie. I can eat then pray.

I ve eaten here several times in the 15 years I lived in Wylie, despite some delicious dishes, the service has been disappointing on multiple occasions including this morning. We were a party of 5, we (party of 2) arrived about 5 minutes before the rest of our party (party of 3). We did have to switch tables on their arrival from a 4 person table to a booth that tightly fit three adults, one 17, and one 13 year old. Waitress confirmed our order when we placed it, and there was a reasonable time until our food came. I ordered the chorizo and avocado omelet and added queso with wells done hash browns and a cinnamon roll pancake on the side. As you can see in the picture, my omelette was indeed topped with queso, but did not have avocado despite it being in the name, and did not come with hashbrowns at all. Another person in my party ordered tacos that also came with hashbrowns but did not receive them. I did receive the avocado when I asked, but I had already eaten half because of the time it took to bring the food and then bring the avocado. My drink wasn t refilled at all. We were rushed to finish in less than 30 minutes from arrival despite the restaurant being less than half full. We paid and tipped nicely advising the waitress that we were going to chat for a few minutes. No refills on water, tea, or coffee while we were waiting for food, while we had our food, nor after we tipped. Gave four stars for atmosphere because it is as expected a small town cafe. We ve had consistently mixed experiences over the years, but this was likely our last attempt at a good meal. We ve gone back because the food is good when it s good, however, the lack of service and the food not even being served as ordered and described on the menu is it for us. Hit or miss at best. Parking: Parking is very limited. If you show up when other businesses are open or at meal time parking will be difficult.

I visited Country Club Cafe with my family for breakfast! My granddaughter loved the Minie Mouse child seat. She also enjoyed eating the Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes which I must say absolutely lived up to the hype! I ordered the Country Club breakfast with two eggs over-medium, hash browns, sausage patties and a biscuit. I also tried out the Sausage Gravy and I must say it is the best biscuit gravy around! I thoroughly enjoyed all the food, the service was great and the company was a delight of course! I will certainly be visiting this establishment more frequently from now on!

Our visit to Country Club Breakfast was on a Sunday afternoon. It took 40-50 min to get most of our food out and about another 15 for the rest. It was a Sunday, but the wait didnt seem appropriate for the number of people there. The staff were very nice and helpful. They could use new menus or laminated ones. The food was average for an establishment of this nature. My omelet was a little greasy, which was strange but didnt strongly affect the taste or experience. The pancakes and biscuits were good. It wouldnt be my first choice in the future but also wouldnt be my last.

She nailed it, because I went back today and got it again. Anita was my server today and she was amazing as well! The service was awesome! I loved the food. My mom got the chorizo and avocado omelette yesterday which was also a 10/10. I hesitate to leave this review because this is a place that could easily have a line out the door if more people know. Lol I entered feeling welcome, and left feeling fat and happy! I will be back OFTEN!

We come here every few weeks. Excellent breakfast every. single. time! Food is perfectly cooked, even with special instructions like crispy bacon and well done omelette. The cinnamon roll pancake is something we order every time we come, and it is as miraculous as it sounds. French toast with thick Texas toast was delicious. My Denver omelette had lovely sautéed onions, peppers, and ham there is a big difference in this, versus just tossing them in. The textures and flavors are just gorgeous. Biscuits are fluffy and light, like my Gigi used to make. Service is consistently great! Well worth a drive if you re not a local. Note that it s a humble diner, with checkered floor tiles and license plates on the walls, so it s not haute cuisine in a fancy location. But southern style breakfast that you ll crave all week is what you ll get if you come!

Let me begin by stating that the food here was absolutly top notch. We arrived just ahead of the morning rush and finished part of the way through it. They were short staffed on watresses only having 2, but you would have never known that. The staff was super. I mean SUPER. Every single person from the guy seating us to the person bussing the table. We were immediately seated and immediately served. I usually do not like strong coffee, but it was smooth. It had a kick but was really, really good. I ordered the big breakfast. I had scambled eggs with hashbrowns, bacon, and short stack pancakes with a side of gravey. My husband had meatlovers that came with sausage links, bacon, ham, 2 eggs, hash browns, and toast. We ordered a side of gravey just to see if it was any good or not. It was the only thing I was less than thrilled with. It was packet gravey. Listen. We absolutely devoured our food! The friendly watress stopped to check on us, and we mentioned it was our first time there. She told us they have a special kind of pancake we had to try. It was a sample, and it came complementary. It was like a pancake cinnabon. No syrup needed. Yall. Hands down the best pancakes I have had in my life. (With the exception of my grandmothers, but she is going to be hard to beat because grammies is made with love. But, these were close)! Judging by the staff, this is going to be a super place to work. The food is, like I said...great. The only thing not mentioned is the atmosphere. It looks just like a diner I grew up with. (My age is late 50s so, it is a good wholesome family restaurant). You just cant go wrong here, folks. It is a little bit of a drive for us, but we will 100% be making this a regular breakfast rotation. You really should, too.

I benchmark a good breakfast cafe by their pancakes. You make a good fluffy pancake (as they advertised) and everything else falls into place. I ordered 1 blueberry pancake two eggs and ham. When the order came out ( and took forever to fix) and I cut into the pancake, it was like cutting into a piece of leather. It was heavy, and parts of the pancake were not cooked and still had batter mixed in. I m not sure what they used for butter, but it change the whole flavor of the pancake. Worst butter ever. The young man that helped us was very nice but needed more training on how to serve a customer. We had to ask for cream and sugar, ask for utensils, and no warm up on coffee was offered. The menu on-line did not match the paper menu in the cafe. My wife wanted a turkey rueben sandwich but it was not offered when we inquired but offered on line. Also, the paper menus we received were wrinkled and had stains on the menu. Not pleasant by any means. Our 1st visit to the cafe was under whelming want be back.

Food is pretty good but they can t seem to get the service down. You get your drinks 20 min after arrival and have to ask 3 times for refills. Food takes forever to come out and the waitresses completely avoids you until the food is out. Hopefully they get it together to stand out to their potential.

Haley, our server, was a complete doll! This was our first visit (but not our last!) and she made us feel right at home. The food was served quickly and was delicious. We will definitely be returning. Kid-friendliness: This cafe is so homey and the wait staff is incredibly friendly.

Food was fresh and made to order, but took over an hour. With 3 small children this is too long for us. Everyone was super friendly and doing their best though.

Never I we ever waited this long to eat. Not sure the issue but we have now been seated for just about 1 hr and still no food. I really love this place but today they are off. I feel like our food was forgotten. Everyone in our section has been served. WE JUST WAIT...... WE ONLY ordered Oatmeal and a Denver omelet.

I love this place. But the Waiter made a mistake that ruined our experience. We are vegetarians and we did confirm with him. At first, he gave me my wifes order and I found the Meat part in it. No compassion regarding our eating habits. I think I have to become Kevin about it and make a fuss at the restaurant. But I cant do that as I am from a different minority group that doesnt have any voice.

We are new to the area, and figured we would try this place out. Starters we waited 15m to be seated, once we were seated we waited another 15 -20m and still no waitress, the hostess and waitress walked by several times. Four other couples were seated after us and they were greated and order taken.

The food is excellent. The 1st time I came here service was excellent as well. I called in an order today and was a little disappointed. I handed the young ladyba $20 bill for my order and she sat my order on yhe bench where patrons sit. She proceeded to get someone else to get my change and Im still wondering why she didnt hand my order. As Im waiting Im thinking the next person will make this right. The waitress proceeded to give me back my change and I said...my order? And she pointed to the order sitting on the bench where patrons sit. Wowww just wow!! Would I be back again? As much as I love those cinnamon swirl pancakes...probably NOT!

Service and food was meh fine. I think either server or system was newer, he wasnt efficient at taking our orders, had to repeat and correct a couple times per person/meal. Then when it came out, some was hot other parts were cold, and still didnt come out correct and was missing items.
