Ill be honest. Everyone working at the hotel was great, the location is convenient, the rooms were decorated nicely, but ultimately its a motel with a nicer pool. And, the fact that it is just a motel makes it hard to justify the price.

Really enjoyed our stay! Rooms thoughtful have everything you need. Stayed in bar suit which was very simple to check in contact free. Excellent texting communication. Went mid September and it was very relaxing and quiet. Plenty of things to do or just hang out at the pool and grab a drink at the pool bar or main bar. All other guest were all respectful and service very accommodating. Enjoyed our stay will be back. Great eats here too!

Great hotel in Wimberly. Close to everything and walkable. Room was clean, quiet, cool and comfortable bed. Check in information sent by text with access code to get into room. Nice grounds and walking area around hotel. Easy entrace, exit and parking. Bar and restaurant on property with variety of food, wine and drink choices. Traveled alone and felt safe walking around at night. Good area to walk pets if you are craving with them. Excellent pool area. Loved eclectic vibe, cleanliness, convenient and quietness. Would recommend and stay again. Had dinner and happy hour at Inn.

I would have gone 5 star but like Wimberley it is just old school. The rooms are very clean and the setup is a very fancy motel with all the rooms on the ground level. The rooms are large, clean and very cool when the AC pumping. It is needed on a hot summer day. The cost is very reasonable! Highlights are, you never have to leave the place. There is a really cool pool, a bar that makes fancy drinks and they serve a small selection of appetizers and dinner options. More food options would be a plus.

My family came to visit for a few days here in Wimberley where I live. My living arrangement is too small for all seven of us so we expanded into the Wimberley Inn. We were all very satisfied with the accommodations as well as the any fun amenities offered. We had a fantastic time together thanks to our stay at the Wimberley Inn!

Room & bathroom were huge, clean & looked great. Property has multiple areas to walk, sit & check out the wildlife including deer. Pool is unexpectedly amazing. Wimberley Inn is so dog friendly, Alfie went into full Italian Greyhound diva mode heading into his 18th birthday. Sun lounging on the Arroyo deck after a bubble bath.

We had a fabulous stay at the Wimberley Inn! I went with a friend for a girls weekend, and it was the perfect place to stay. It is walking distance to the town square (with lots of restaurants & shopping). We spent most of the afternoon at the pool and it was absolutely beautiful. We felt like we were at a top-notch resort in the middle of the Texas hill country! The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Rooms: Beautiful rooms, well equipped with everything we needed. Nearby activities: Town Square has lots of wonderful activities, shopping & dining options. Safety: Felt very tucked away; beautiful grounds. Walkability: Easy walking distance from the Wimberley Town Square.

Comfy beds, spacious rooms, high quality accommodations, modern clean pool + bar, short walking distance to downtown shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed this vacation! Rooms: The rooms were bigger than we expected, lots of closet space, huge walk in shower, quality bathing products supplied by hotel, the beds were SO COMFORTABLE! We were so pleased. Nearby activities: The river isn t a far drive and it s shallow to where you can sit and enjoy but there are other spots where it s deep so you can swim Safety: Really enjoyed the security of the facilities. Every door had its own code to enter and so we felt very safe. Walkability: We chose to drive to downtown Wimberley because of the heat but it is just as easy to walk there too. Food and drinks: Food and drinks were excellent and fast service. Noteworthy details: Super quiet and safe for the kids to roam around and explore. There is a pool bar that is so convenient to have when you have kids in the pool

Stayed four nights.Great location and very quiet.The rooms are very spacious and the Temperpedic bed was heavenly! Lots of shade and water fountains and other secluded areas to meditate and enjoy the scenery. Hosts are very gracious and be sure to enjoy the bar for hand crafted cocktails, wine and beer the fresh food offerings prepared by a former upscale chef from Montana! Access to river as well. Highly recommend! .

We went for brunch this morning with some friends and sat outside. Two of us got the eggs benedict, one got the breakfast sando, and my fiance got the avocado toast. To drink, our friends split a carafe of oj mimosa and my fiance got the the 75 days of sunshine and I got the bloody mary (not the bloody maria on the menu). Everything was really good. I was probably most impressed with the benedict and avocado toast and the chorizo stuffed olive they used in my bloody mary was my first time having one and it was really good. The property is pretty. They have a koi pond, a fire pit, and a pool you can buy a day pass to use even if you dont stay there.

Very cool location. Great area and walked into the room and was pleasantly surprised. Overall we were very Happy Rooms: Padding on the metal frame would make my knees happier, lol. The bed was a little hard. However we like memory foam beds and that s not everyone s choice. Food and drinks: The Bar Went to the bar and the bartender was excellent and made me the best Old Fashion I have ever had. The music was great. Kelly was great to talk to also. We were surprised that we were the only ones there. There should be a sign on the road saying Live Music and Bar.

Exceptional experience - the cherry on top was the restaurant / bar. Mixologist Alyssa served fresh beverages with local ingredients and sophistication that complimented the food without faux ingredients like simple syrup. Chef Sam in the kitchen crafted dishes that stood out among the noise of convention in the area: e.g. pulled pork tacos served with micro greens that complimented the flavours of the pineapple salsa and the slow cooked meat all in a hard shell, made from scratch, that was uniquely crispy + maintained structural integrity of the taco. The rooms were spacious and the staff welcoming. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed staying at the Wimberley Inn on Christmas Eve. The Inn is decorated beautifully, the rooms are spotless and the grounds are very pretty. We didn t get to visit the cute bar, but hope to next time. The staff are most helpful. Looking forward to visiting again.

Our weekend getaway was absolutely fabulous at Wimberly Inn. The check in/checkout process was fast, and easy to communicate with the staff. The room was clean, the bar was downstairs, cute library included in the cottage. The town shops are walking distance by the Inn. Star gazing was also a plus on a cold winter night. We will definitely be back during the summer to enjoy the beautiful pool area.

Went for a mini vacay- room was clean with coffee/water set up. Got the romantic package- strawberries, rose petals and Prosecco. Spent several hours at the bar and worked our way through the drink/food menu. Staff at both the inn and bar were gracious and attentive. Perfect location to downtown Wimberly and we cant wait to come back during the summer to try out the new pool and visit the river. Food and drinks: Great small bar with craft drinks and appetizers. Our stay at the Wimberley in was fabulous! The check in process was a little strange we had to wait for someone to arrive at the office, but I think they were short staffed that day, and the girl in the office was helping housekeeping. Our room was beautiful, exactly as shown online. The room was actually huge and so quiet. The pool was gorgeous! The pool bar hadn t opened for the season yet (which I would love to experience) so we had the whole thing to ourselves! We had a drink and dessert at the other bar onsite which was nice. I would absolutely stay here again.

The people are nice, the pool is kind of cool, and the rooms interior is decent, but thats where it stops. Exterior and the grounds, looks as if it was abandoned and unkept. Like that one neighbor that stopped caring about their eyesore of a yard. There is little to no investment in the outdoor aesthetics. Better off going to a nearby Airbnb where you get the whole package you pay for and the views you want to see.

We had a fabulous time at the Wimberley Inn & Bar! The design of and decor in the room was so cute, clean, modern, and creative! All of the communication from the staff prior to and during our arrival was outstanding! They were just a text away at any time. The pool was great, too! We also loved how we could go to their sister property, 7A Ranch, for easy access to the river. Another huge bonus - you can walk to the adorable town with plenty of restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this adorable Inn when planning a vacay to Wimberley!

Andrew, I would like to take a moment to let you know how disappointed we are with your service. We asked you on 06/22/2023 over a month ago for pricing for a small wedding at your location. It has now been over a month and we still havent received a response. I dont understand why you set up a call and wasted our time if you had no intentions of letting us know what the event would cost. I thought this would be a perfect spot, but if service is like this and we can even get a return email or phone call, I dont believe this would be a good idea. I could only imagine wedding day with no communicating would be a disaster. I hope in the future you return emails and assit others who are intrested in your venue. This isnt how you do business, very disappointed.

Very cute! Loved our room, cozy but roomy! Barn door separated the beds from the bathroom area, very nice privacy as I am traveling with my young son. We could wash up and change privately. The bar is so cute! There was a great guitarist playing our first night (Thursday). The pool is heaven during the scorching weather. We walked across the street to Blue Hole Park for an evening Owl Prowl, and reserved a swim time another morning. So content.

I really wanted to like the Inn but for the following reasons it failed to live up to expectations and didnt warrant the nightly price! I would class the Inn as a motel. Firstly the towels in my room were in need of an upgrade, supposed to be white but they were grey. A carafe of water unchilled was provided and only a selection of teas and coffee, nothing else. I would have loved a microwave to heat pre-made meals. Distance from the village centre is listed as a few minutes but that must be by car, not on foot and I didnt have a car with me. Rooms are not cleaned during your stay so I had waste bins unemptied. Whilst waiting for my room to be ready on check in, the Bar area closed on me so all in all, not an entirely customer friendly experience yet I must say prior to my arrival from Australia, my dealings with the reception staff online was supremely positive and they went over and above to trace my booking. As I say, not a hugely enjoyable experience but the bed was very comfortable and the bedlinen pristine.

We just stayed in room 10 last night. Very cute place and location is great. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. My biggest complaint is that our shower wouldn t drain properly and it was kind of gross to stand in a puddle of water when showering. The tv didn t work and neither did the mini fridge. For $200 a night I expected a little better. Would look into another option next time.

We visited as a quick weekend getaway kid free. We had a great experience. The staff were hospitable and kind, efficient communication with management via text, fun and eclectic atmosphere but still charming and quaint. All needs were met and then some. The pool was a fun cool down spot, the bar offered a variety of drinks and nice brunch menu. It s located near downtown shopping area with a lot of shopping and dining options. My wife and I came here for a small getaway to celebrate our anniversary, and we loved it. The room is nothing super fancy, but it has everything you need. We got the king room, so the bed was super spacious, and the pillows that they provided were really great, which is usually not the case in hotels. The area is very quiet, so you need not worry about being woken up by anything. The staff is also very attentive to your needs, as you can text them for anything you want. Unfortunately, I cant comment on the food+bar because we were there Monday-Wednesday, and it was closed those days, so keep that in mind. Many places in Wimberley are closed Monday and Tuesday. We checked out before the bar opened on Wednesday, but we do really want to go back and see what they have to offer. The highlight of the place is the pool. Its down the hill behind the hotel, giving it a very secluded feel. The pool furniture is very comfortable. We spent lots of time just sitting there reading, and there were plenty of trees to give us shade. I already miss this place, and we are looking forward to going back.

Eclectic decor in spacious room with concrete floors, ceiling fan, and wall air conditioner unit. Bed is on the firm side and bedding is adequate but nothing special. Good shower would be even better with curved curtain rod for extra elbow room. Nice cocktail (aka water) glasses, cocktail napkins, and wine opener in room along with kettle, coffee and tea. Sorry I just dont get it. $350 a night for a fairly basic motel thats been updated, limited food service and bar-even though its part of their name. Good location for the Hill Country though, nicely furnished, but basic. Guess theres no competition for hotels/motels in the area and they can get away with these rates. Fabulous boutique hotel thats pet friendly and perfectly situated. We walked into town each evening for meals, took the dogs for walks directly from the property over to the Blue Hole Park Trails, and wineries were within 20minutes for easy day trips. We loved the decor in the rooms and the well maintained grounds. The pool area is lovely and I just wish I had more time to spend there and enjoy it more!

I booked a one night stay, then I had to cancel 3 days before arrival due to contracting Covid-19. They still charged me my full room rate. This is disappointing as I had to cancel my entire hill country vacation, and this is the only hotel that still charged me. Would you prefer I come to your hotel and get expose all of your guests?

I had just a fantastic time at the Bar side of the business. It was a brilliant January evening - not too cold, not hot. We got there just as a band was warming up. Usually a band/singer in a small place means you are going to be blown out by the acoustics. Not to bad. The place was small on the outside deck, maybe the fire pit below would even be better. They also had inside seating with a bunch of sofas, but Im too much of an introvert for that kind of awkward experience. The waiter was overloaded because it doesnt take much to pack this place, so pick your times carefully. The drinks were very, very good. The food was upscale bar food, but hey - we were in a bar! Started off with some pimento cheese & bread. Wow that was good. The chutney was the best part. I then had the pecan pesto with a skewer of chicken. It was really enough for two. Way too much pasta for me. 1 skewer of chicken was just right. We then had the special dessert which was a chocolate bourbon ball. It didnt hit for me, but they did incredible work with it. Ill try something else next time. Definitely looking to come back.

We booked the Wimberley Inn & Bar for our rehearsal dinner and wedding and it was AMAZING! The venue, the food, the drinks and the staff were all above and beyond. We loved having the whole hotel booked with our friends and family and being able to walk into Wimberley. I can not recommend the Wimberley Inn & Bar ENOUGH! While the Inn was very nice and the staff very helpful, it is not a short walk to downtown Wimberley. Also, there was no notification that the Bar on the property was not open on Sunday and Monday. The whole point of the trip was to stay on site to eat, drink and relax and we had to drive into town. Please prepare other guest about this important information when booking

Cute and chic boutique hotel. Perfect place for weekend getaway. It has modern, stylish and simple decor as well as furniture. You can tell the designer/owner did their best to bring you great quality of stay within affordable budget. My friends highly recommend their bed sheet and mattress. The mattress is relatively firm. The selection of tea, coffee and toiletries is very distinctive. They are all well-tailored to what this hotel wants to say. It would be better to have disposable slippers since it is concrete floor instead of carpet.

Love this place! A boutique style hotel. The room was VERY clean, the rooms are decorated cute. The restaurant and bar were awesome. Food was exceptional, especially the pasta! Definitely recommend the Bit of Heaven cocktail..delicious! The location set amongst trees and well shaded with walking paths. Very relaxing atmosphere. Their customer service is outstanding. I do recommend Wimberley Inn! We will definitely return and spend more time in the cute town of Wimberley. Beautiful area!

My only ask is the addition of a sitting area in the room. There were no chairs, only had the beds to sit on. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable, as were the beds, the Wi-Fi was good, attentive and friendly staff, very lovely brunch with acoustic guitarist playing, delicious food and cocktails.

Love the outside deck and view. The service was dreadful: we ordered a glass of Pinot noir and a glass of prosecco and then waited 30 minutes to get them. While the waitress was there, we ordered the Funion appetizer. After 40 minutes, we asked about our food and the waitress checked on it....Kitchen lost our order so she put another order in for us. That took almost 20 minutes. Food was very good. The wait staff was nice and friendly, just not focused or attentive. Good thing we werent in a hurry or hungry!

Nice little place close to the square and other Wimberly attractions! Room was nice, we didnt bring our pets but it was nice to know they were pet friendly. Bed was comfortable with nice linens and towels. Drinks at the bar took a long time to get and were pricey. Overall a nice 2 day getaway for my husband and I.

Wimberly Inn + Bar was so accommodating to our last minute event. We had a private event in the bar area for about 22 people. The food, drinks and service was absolutely amazing. Got to stay for 2 nights at the Wimberley inn. Really enjoyed my stay. It s in a great location very close to a lot of places to visit. The hotel is really cute, loved the boutique hotel feel.. It s dog friendly and that s a plus. My only disappointment was that the restaurant bar wasn t opened the days I stayed which was Sunday and Monday, it looked really nice in the pictures and videos I saw online and I really wanted to check it out . I ll know for next time .

The Wimberley Inn was amazing. We took a Hill Country road trip and spent two nights at Wimberley Inn. We were so impressed with the quaint feel and unique property. The setting is perfect, with lots of areas to spend outside to explore, relax and to have coffee or a cocktail. The Restaurant and Bar were awesome. We went both nights for food and drinks and both were excellent. The food was extremely tasty and the drinks were a great way to finish a day of exploring the town and zip lining. The service was very good, only a text away. The rooms are simple but cool. The entire Inn has a cool Hill Country vibe to it. Will definitely be back.

If you are planning a girls weekend in the hill country, THIS IS YOUR SPOT! The team at Wimberley Inn + Bar were so lovely, responsive, and amazing! I had a special request because the *real* reason we were having a girls weekend was a surprise engagement for my BFF. The team let us switch rooms so the happy couple could stay together (after she said yes!) and they even left champagne for her. It s a lovely spot for a romantic stay as well. Thank y all so much. We loved our room, the couple loved their room, the bar had great drinks and a trendy small town Texas vibe, all walkable to downtown Wimberley ah! I could go on. Finding the hotel was a little difficult, but its tucked behind a wall for privacy and noise control. The location is subsequently very quiet and the surroundings are beautiful. The room itself was very well decorated. They have a laid back bohemian vibe. The shower was pretty great, they have a heater in there so youre not cold when you get out. There was water in the room as well as tea and coffee. The bar on the property needs their front door fixed and it doesnt feel like a bar in there, more like a coffee shop that sells liquor. If you go during the winter, there isnt much to do but I can see there would be a lot to do during the summer. The things we did not like was the bed is more of a futon material, it is very hard (not firm, just hard), the heater in the room is the old school type so it was very loud and kicked on every few mins so we did not get much sleep. The doors are hard to close so every time someone in another room closed their door you could both hear and feel it. And finally, for what we paid for the room, we expected a little more than what we got. I understand its all about location, but we were there in the middle of the winter and we still paid more than what we would have preferred for what we got. The check in/out process was super easy and the staff was great.

The room I had was stinky. Smelled like sewage. I went to the bar the 1st night here. Poor kid behind the bar had no experience. He tried to make me a margarita but failed. He didnt even know to put a napkin under the glass when serving. I ordered the hamburger and whoever cooked the patty, put so much Worcestershire Sauce that its all I tasted. $16 for a burger? I suggest a different hotel.

Modern, clean, trendy and convenient to the Square. We loved our room, its neatly designed and the bed was very comfy with the oversized pillows. Wish the rooms had a jet tub, or a hot tub on the property. The bar is FANTASTIC!! The staff are super cool, knowledgeable about the menu but also the area. We loved every drink we tried, and the food was extremely good as well. Wish it was open a little later, but that seems to be the closing time for Wimberley overall. Zero complaints here, well be back for sure.

Our room was stylish and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated that they are dog friendly and even had little doggie stations. We slept comfortably and didn t hear the neighbors next door at all. Some outside noise does come in but it wasn t too noticeable. The location was great as well. DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL! We completed the online registration to make check-in a quicker process, however they gave our room key to another family without validating who was checking in. In addition, while restocking our bathroom amenities, the house keeper, Jessica, stole my medication that I had in my makeup bag. When confronted, all staff members denied. Ended up filing a police report. Please do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Where do I even start? The room and the property was so cute and the bed was so comfortable. I had one of the best drinks I ve had in a while at the bar. The WiFi was good and fast (which I needed since I was working remotely there during my stay.) We were literally a minute from all the shops and restaurants in Wimberley. We booked a last minute room after our original cabin rental turned out to be not as promised. The staff at 7A Ranch and the Wimberly Inn were super accommodating and informative. They quickly answered questions during the stay. The room was clean and the grounds were pretty and peaceful. Its a short walk to the downtown area, just be aware that there are no sidewalks and the roads are two-lane highways. We had a great stay!

$150, not $50 for a pet fee at this pet friendly hotel. Im including screenshots, to show they clearly dont understand their own policies. When you lie about what youre going to charge your customers for pet fees, youll quickly be mistrusted. I stay over 100 nights a year in hotels, and understood perfectly clearly that the girls I checked in with were charging $50 per stay for our pet. I wouldnt even consider staying at a place that charged that per night on a multi day trip, so I assure you, there was no confusion. They now keep saying this has been their policy for so long, and even now, the posted policy currently says $25 a night on their entry for hotels.com, so currently you can pay anywhere from $25, $50, or $75 per night and its so convoluted, Roy cant even understand it! On top of this, the head of housekeeper Roy barged in the room without knocking one morning, then to make it obvious starts loudly knocking and calling at every room after. Our vehicle, was right out front, and when confronted had the audacity to say he didnt do it. The girl at the front desk gave a disapproving look at him, like she wasnt surprised. Both of the girls were friendly and helpful, so nothing against them. This is unacceptable. Not worth the trouble, stay elsewhere.

The room was not clean - stains on the carpet and mold around the fixtures in the tub. The shower head was broken - water sprayed up to the ceiling and all over the place. No hot water - having to use the tub without a working shower, the lack of hot water was the icing on the cake. We called the number on the booking that morning to be told no one was on site and they would try to get a hold of the manager. It has been a month with no response by phone or email. The location and grounds are quaint and cute but this was overpriced at $200 for the experience.

Phones don t work in the rooms. Guests are expected to have a cell phone. No way to contact anyone if a problem occurs without one. No onsite manager or staff. Was without TV for my first night and was told because I didn t call sooner I would not be credited for that night stay. My family and I stayed at this inn for a couple of days and we had a great time. The rooms were very clean, the beds were amazingly comfortable, the staff was very nice and they made great, homemade breakfasts every morning. The first morning they made breakfast biscuits with bacon or sausage, eggs, cheese and the second morning they made frittatas with bacon or sausage, spinach eggs (I liked both meals). Fruit, yogurt, some small peach tarts were also available. There were some trails behind the inn, but we didnt get to explore them, but the grounds were a great view.

I was very fortunate to book a room here over the Labor Day weekend, and am absolutely delighted that I did. Though the rooms are obviously older, the place is well maintained and clean. The walk through the grounds to the breakfast area was wonderful first thing in the morning. And let me tell you about the breakfast!! I travel a lot and NONE of the hotels/motels I have ever stayed at have ever offered a breakfast like Wimberley Inn, (and Im looking at YOU Hilton and Marriott, you could learn a thing or two from these owners). No, it wasnt a huge buffet, it was very select offerings of the most delicious breakfast foods I have ever had. A Bacon, Caramelized Onion Frittata with thinly slice potatoes in it, YES, A-mazing. What about a scrumptious savory breakfast Bread Pudding? Never had such a thing, but sure hope to again. And seriously the most mouth-watering scones I have EVER had; lemon-rosemary (incredible), and strawberry-almond with fresh strawberries, and these literally melt in your mouth. Loved the place, loved the owners, loved the food. Thank you Wimberley Inn, you really are a hidden jewel!

We absolutely loved staying at the Wimberley Inn! The Inn offered so much especially for either couples or families. My husband and I came in mid-November to tour Texas for a week and this was our favorite place where we stayed on our journey. I wished we had planned to use the Inn as our base as we explored the area. We received the very best of care from the staff and they were very courteous and accommodating in every way. Our large queen suite was lovely and we felt as comfortable as being at home. Our room was spacious, very clean and had a fantastic view into the woods. The variety of areas to relax and enjoy nature is wonderful; with trails to explore, decks and patios to read books, or play a game in the community house. Wimberley Inn is like an intimate resort experience and we loved it! Looking forward to a time when we can visit again! One more tip, the staff recommended the Community Pizza & Beer Garden down the street great food and atmosphere for the family!
