Very disappointed with the customer service at Charleston Lane. I spoke to Kristy last week in regards to coming in for a tour, I am from out of town and was very interested in this venue. Kristy confirmed that they had available tours this week as well at their instagram post stated they had available tours throughout this week. I arrive to Charleston Lane and the door is locked. I spoke to customer service and they stated there is no one at the venue. Wasted time and drive. 0/10.

Let me start by saying that it has been a long year road of planning our wedding. We came across Charleston Lane March of 2023 before the renovations were even done. Even then, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married at. I am an honest person that will speak my honest truth and I will say miscommunication was a big factor in the beginning. My husbands and Is trust was tried and it had became extremely difficult during the planning process. HOWEVER, I must say that the day of my wedding was completely MAGICAL. Any ill feelings I had went out the window when I walked in and saw how beautiful everything was. The staff at Charleston Lane delivered everything they promised and I could not have been more happier. Lance truly impressed my husband and I. Him and his staff were on POINT with everything. The food, decor, service, etc. everything top notch. Despite the difficulties we had, I honestly would have my wedding here over and over again. Lance was very accommodating to my husband and I throughout this whole journey and we are honestly grateful. I mean it when I say that no other venue would have brought my wedding to life like Charleston Lane would have. I admire Lance, Alex and the other staff for working so hard to make my day remarkably special. Thank you Lance and Charleston Lane for everything!

We were blown away once we entered the building during our initial visit. This is truly a hidden gem that I m glad we found to start our new adventure. What an excellent staff and venue! Lance is so thorough and helpful as my son and his fiancé work through the many details that are part of their wedding package. Alex keeps in touch with the bride, providing updates on details and improvements always happening there. From the gorgeous outdoor ceremony site overlooking the water, to the scratch kitchen on site, as well as excellent vendors, Charleston Lane is a beautiful venue with helpful, professional people. Usually I am not one to leave a bad review. ONE business day ago, we signed the contract for wedding dates in May of next year. We had NOT put down our deposit yet. Today I called to apologize and let them know that we had issues finding lodging for our wedding guests and that should have been something we looked into first before signing the contract (which we signed on Saturday and today is Tuesday after Memorial Day). Any good businessman would understand that things come up. Its a part of running a business. Lance was very rude and got loud while on the phone saying he is going to enforce the contract and take it to arbitration. On his own contract it says that a 33% deposit is required, in order to secure a date. It is the venues fault for pulling the dates without receiving the deposit. Again, it was our fault for signing it and I took responsibility. The way Lance handled the issue was extremely poor and showed poor business acumen. He threatened to send the contract breach to arbitration when the deposit wasnt even paid yet. As a businessman myself, I would not recommend doing business with this facility.

From the moment we met the owner Lance, we knew we were in good hands. Lance was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through every step of the planning process, ensuring that our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of and more. Mind you we have been planning our wedding for over a year now. The management staff at Charleston Lane, including Alex, Sabrina, and Ronal, were outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met. On the wedding day, Ronal made sure that our guests were well taken care of. Their professionalism and expertise were apparent throughout the entire process, and we cannot thank them enough for all that they did to make sure our day was special. The venue itself is simply breathtaking. The attention to detail and the beauty of the space made for a truly magical wedding. Without the help of Lance and his team, we would not have been able to make our wedding possible. They truly exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend Charleston Lane to anyone looking for a top-notch wedding venue.

The second we stepped foot into Charleston Lane & I saw the breathtaking lake view & palm trees, I was IN LOVE! This venue was beautiful AS IS even during renovations!! The good: objectively beautiful views The bad: Once you get past the view, facilities are mediocre. Desperate need of capital injection to fix dated bathrooms & entrance, buy out neighboring bar, and fix layout (one half of your guests will feel cut off from the event). We found management to be moody, micromanagerial & difficult to work with - staff suffers from decision paralysis as a result. Bottomline: Suggest thinking very critically about choosing this business for these reasons, was not a good experience for us

The place is no doubt attractive for events like weddings. Lake view, outside patio space and all that. However, if you having the event in Summer, you are in for a surprise which will not be revealed in advance. The cooling system is not enough for the hall even working at full capacity, so be prepared to sweat or leave your jacket at home. Another issue is access to the hall which from the main entrance is by stairs only. There is no elevator and older folks and on wheelchair have to route through a kitchen/loading dock area, (probably grandfathered for disability law, since no modern building would pass inspection). Their own food is not worth the price but they do allow outside vendors (with an extra fee). Read their contract carefully since they do not have any concession to forgive late payments etc and charge late fees. Their contracted or affiliated event planner (Beer Weddings) is another story and not very experienced.

The BEST wedding venue in the Houston area! It is located north of Houston and overlooks Lake Conroe. The view of the water is breathtaking especially when the sun is setting. Lance, the owner, has done incredible renovations to this venue and has a great eye for design. The venue is spacious allowing weddings the flexibility to be creative however they see fit. The separate bridal and groom suite are stunning as well! Charleston Lane s team is amazing and work cohesively to make your dreams come true. They have great customer service and do everything in their power to make your event successful. The venue offers all inclusive packages that have everything and anything you can think of from catering, alcohol, floral, decor, and so much more. Charleston Lane has it all! I have been to almost every Venue from Willis to Houston so I wouldn t get into trouble from the wife. Charleston Lane was a no-brainer. It s the only venue that has a waterfront view! The Charleston Lane team is detailed oriented and remembers who you are without having a laptop in front of them! Charleston Lane is also a one stop shop that has their own in-house florist, bar services and home to Caviar Banana! This whole process has been nothing but easy! Keep up the great work!

So Mriage at lake Conroe never told me they sold the venue! Contacted new owners and OMG THE CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE GENUIE LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING IS A BIGGGGG PLUS!!! I love this venue and will definitely be updated my review as the process goes on!!! Book this venue you would not regret it!!!
