This restaurant is close to work and has decent food. I love the flavored specialty drinks to quench my thirst. And who can go wrong with cheese sticks? The service is good and foodservers are responsive.

Friday September 27th, we went to Bjs for our 20th anniversary. We had our 3 children with us. Christian was our server, and let me just say.... he was PHENOMENAL! Seriously one of the best servers we have had! He has short black hair and wore black framed glasses, just so he doesnt get mixed up. He was extremely attentive to our table, brought drinks right when we needed them. Was comical and had our table laughing and having a good time! We spoke to the manager to let her know how great he was and we really enjoyed our time there and the food was also on point! He got a pretty fat tip from us because of how good he was!

What a great place to dine! I forgot how huge this place was and I love that its so spacious. The place was pretty packed, but we didnt have to wait long at all before we were seated. I love how big the boots are. The waiter we had was super nice and made sure to check in on us and provided excellent service despite how many customers were there. The food was delicious and up to my liking. I had a strawberry margarita it was delicious and not too strong. The restrooms were nice and clean. Theres a ramp to go upward to the boots which is cool and different unlike most restaurants. The only problem had was that the female hostess did not acknowledge or greet my brother. She only greeted me and he was upset by that Im sure she didnt have Ill intentions, but it made him feel disrespected. Besides that I enjoyed the atmosphere here. Lots of good energy.

If you re looking for a place with a variety of dishes, BJ s is your destination. There are so many good choices, between burgers, sandwiches, pastas, steaks, salads, jambalaya, and more! I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, and the fried chicken stretched over the sides of the airy bun. All of the food is tasty, so if you re unsure what to order, just choose something: you won t be disappointed. This restaurant is clean and roomy, with lots of seating and some nice brewery paintings. For adults, there are many available beers and other beverages. The service is good as well. So, if you are ever on the fence about where to go and what to eat, come to BJ s. You will be pleasantly satisfied.

Great service awesome drinks and great food! Great quality food and drinks. They have sodas and beers made in house and a huge bar for fresh cocktails. The food selection goes from gourmet pizza, Angus burgers to avocado rolls . Beers go from ultra Stout to Pal ales and everything between.. If its your birthday they throw in a pizookie for free. Great place with a clean atmosphere.

Dont sleep on the California flatbread appetizer! I normally hate avocado and I finally found a way that I like avocado on this appetizer. Honestly I may just order it instead of an entree the next time Im there LOL. Its a little noisy so dont sit at the bar if you have sensory issues or be sure to bring your earplugs. They were pretty slammed when I was there. But the servers did check in on us. Foods good. No major errors on our order. Few minor things but no more than you would expect on a busy night. Worst thing we ended up with was a bunch of small slices on our California flatbread LOL which ended up working in our favor. Parking: Relatively few spots in the front and on a busy night it can be hard to navigate as the lanes between spots are not very big.

Weve been to BJs a number of times and usually enjoyed the food, but something seems to have gone south and we do not plan to return. Paid $35 for a ribeye that the kitchen somehow managed to make completely inedible. Not even seasoned with basic salt and pepper, no sear on the outside whatsoever, yet it was well past the medium temperature that we ordered. Looked and tasted like it had been pulled out of the fridge, thrown into the microwave, and then slapped on a plate. I ordered the garlic roasted vegetables, which I was excited were a menu option, but I was presented with bits of veg so dry and tasteless that I was honestly baffled how the kitchen could have ruined them so badly. I make broccoli and cauliflower all the time for myself - they are delicious foods, and its an absolute shame how this restaurant chose to treat them. The tri-tip was mediocre at best and was slathered with BBQ sauce I would wager came out of a bottle, because I dont think BJs could have come up with anything that tasty. It was insulting that we were expected to pay over $100 for a meal far inferior to what anyone with the slightest skill could have prepared far better. The only redeeming item was the honey sriracha brussels sprouts, so thank you to whoever prepared those.

Heres the order... Starters: Get kids starters - they are free; come with a fruit cup and a garlic knot. They recently switched to oyster crackers , but the Knots are better, and they should revert. Cheese sticks & Brussel Sprouts Main Course: If it is Monday, half off tavern cut pizzas, otherwise we get the regular. BJs favorite and add fresh garlic. Keep the Jeremiah Reds coming, great beer! Dessert: Pazookie - the video is the Spookie Pazookie they offer around Halloween. Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu and free kids starters.

Come here pretty regularly, unfortunately the service today was extremely slow and the food was ok. Heard the two waitresses apologize several times for forgetting things for each table, or the kitchen getting food wrong. At first they looked busy, but when we were down to three tables that was not the case. Don t recommend the tortilla soup, but over the actual bread bowl and the wings. Hope it was just a bad day, but was not super happy with the experience. :/

Perfect date night! My boyfriend and I went to BJ s brewery because he had never been before and our waitress gave us great service. From the moment we walked in everyone was kind, friendly, and knew the menu well. We had many questions about the drink options and our waitress had all the answers we were looking for. The only reason I took a star off was the mac-n-cheese is not a noodle you would think it would be also like grits and the texture was not something we were expecting, but everything else we ordered was cooked great. Parking: The parking lot was full, but there were still plenty of spots to park and still be somewhat close to the door.

My son s graduation dinner was ruined! I reserved a table for 27 guests for my son s graduation dinner. We arrived and were seated at 10:15pm on Saturday. By 11:30pm, we had received nothing but drinks. My son, the graduate, had to leave before his food arrived in order to get to a school event for seniors only by midnight. Both he and I were extremely disappointed. There was only one server assigned to our entire party and he was not moving quickly at all. He was even seen standing at a distance talking with other employees while we were waiting for him to take our food orders. 80% of my family ended up leaving after just paying for their drinks and those who were fortunate enough to receive food, simply asked for it to-go. I have never had such a horrible experience. And this was my sons s high school graduation night which we can never do again.

The restaurants prices seem disproportionately high given the overall experience, For instance, charging a $3 premium for sweet potato fries instead of regular ones feels excessive. My review is based on two key aspects: price and quality. Unfortunately, the cost of the meal far exceeds what I would expect for a casual dining experience. Despite visiting during a typically busy time, the restaurant was surprisingly empty on a Saturday lunch. Even with a family gift card, I found it difficult to justify the steep prices for what essentially amounted to fried foods. The food quality was exceptional; each dish was not only visually appealing but also a delight to the taste buds. The battered fries added a unique flair, and the sweet BBQ sauce on the steak was perfectly balanced, enhancing the overall experience of the meal. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The shrimp scampi, although bathed in an exceptional sauce, still had tails attached, requiring us to dip our fingers into the sauce to extract the shrimp. Additionally, the tri-tip sirloin steak was unfortunately tough to cut and chew, suggesting that alternative cooking methods could have rendered it more tender and enjoyable.

I absolutely love going to BJ s Restaurant & Brewhouse. Their menu is so large! They have a little bit of everything, so it s perfect for those moments when the family can t decide what to get. I always get their Brewhouse Bowls, it is so good! Their pizzookies are so good as well. It satisfies that sweet craving every time. It comes in a variety of sizes too! I totally recommend this place, as it is one of my go to eateries!

We were. Not greeted when we entered once the hostess arrived she asked if we wanted a table or a booth I said could we have a booth close to the front door please? After that, she proceeded to walk from the front door all the way past the first set of booths, the second set of booths, and took us almost to the bar seating area.. the waitress was very friendly and came right over and took our drink order and the appetizer,the pretzel was undercooked, the fried cheese was cold, the chips were fine. The guacamole tasted very fresh.. The two guys each enjoyed their sandwiches and burgers my chicken bacon ranch pizza had very little chicken and it was dropped right in the center of the pizza and nowhere else. First time I ordered this and won t recommend it.the beer was cold and my wine was a good pairing with the almost Mediocre pizza. If you enjoy a decent red wine, I would recommend the one that I had called 14 hands ,,enough of this let s move on!!

Didn t get pictures of food. I came here for lunch. I sat in the bar area and service was phenomenal. The bar tender whose name i believe is Courtney was very busy however i witnessed the manger step up and be of help. The service was great and consistent to every customer. Food was great as well. As far as I can tell the place was great I got help right away and food was great nice people and very friendly. I m having a pizookie. it s 10:20 and it didn t take long to come out. Around 3-4 minutes. My only problem. No suggestion is that they butter the pan more or that they ll plate the cookie, then dress it up. After all it s still a dining restaurant. And I ll love to have a beautiful dressed dessert (Reason why) I believe a dessert should be able to be enjoyed with one hand. 1. afrodisiaco that s enjoyed most by a couple. (Can t keeps and off each other) 2. A parent that s has there hands full (feed a child/holding a baby ) 3. A working person that can t get away from work. We went there last night after a terrible experience at Buffalo Wild Wings across the street. Total opposite experience, great service and tasty food although one of our apps was too cold, but still tasty and just had a nice time. Second time I have gone in a row and the pizza came out less than warm, like it had been sitting on a tray for half an hour. The pizzokie was cold but burnt, not hot and gooey like it is supposed to be. The waiter had the personality of a cardboard box. Also, in case anyone from the restaurant actually reads this, over half of your light bulbs along the building walls outside are burned out. Its freaking dark.

Talk about nostalgia.....last time I was here was back in 2009, and the food, the service, and the atmosphere are still top-notch! The waitress was super sweet and very attentive. We just had our first bad experience there. The prices are on the higher side, but usually, the quality of the food makes up for it. On this evening, the waitress started off well, but after the food came, she actively avoided our table. Two of us needed drink refills for the entire meal as the kitchen was slow and we had finished our first drinks. Then my wife needed ketchup for her burger, and the rest of us needed it for our fries. Which were actually cold and soggy when we got our food. But since our waitress never checked back with us, she didnt know. We finally flagged down a waitress from another table, pardoned ourselves for interrupting her time, but asked if we could get drinks and ketchup, although by that time, it really wasnt needed. Then, our waitress was finally tracked down and came to our table with a drink for my daughter at least and the jetchup. I left a bad tip and a note explaining it. Overall, it was a bad experience for my wifes birthday. We were going to stay and get dessert, but after the service, or lack of, for the meal we just paid and left.

Went there around 3 on a Friday with my husband and in-laws. The queso was really good, but my burger was mediocre and ended up giving me bad indigestion the other 3 orders in my party came out incorrect. Absolutely horrible service. Sat for 10 min without as much as a hello. 2 different waitresses just passed right by us. Floor manager was just standing around joking with staff. Wanted to enjoy a meal here but this is the 3rd experience here like this.

Ordered the blackened shrimp tacos the tacos with avocado ranch dip and red salsa is always a great light dish but they could still lest add more shrimp. Yep or three small shrimp is a little skimpy. Overall I would recommend people to try it out. The black beans didnt have hardly any juice and lack of seasoning

I unrolled my cloth napkin to get my silverware and wow it was gross to see previous food spills all over it stuck on the napkin, very gross,reason why I always ask for paper napkins, folks dont ever wipe your mouth on those cloth napkin!!!!update( july2023)food was much better,better menu,great staff,and this time napkins were clean,but I always ask for paper napkins!

I have given this place multiple chances. Bj s used to be a fabulous restaurant and now it seems the quality of food and service has gone down. Every item we ordered was cold and seemed as if it was sitting in the window for a long time before it hit the table. The fish and chips were soggy and gross the smokehouse burger was cold and dry and the Mac and cheese bites were completely cold. I seriously would have preferred a TV dinner over eating at BJ s. Over 120$ after tip and drinks for DISGUSTING FROZEN FOOD. the sad part is I didn t even get to enjoy my dinner and still had to pay for this garbage. I have no idea how people can pay for this sub par quality .

I would rate it a zero if I could. Waited 15 min for tea. Came out wrong. Server Cruz H was beyond rude and lazy! Never asked for refill nothing!!! We come every week and never have a problem. Hostess are worthless as well. Just stand there and do not greet properly.Hire people who care. Sad could be a nice to eat but service is beyond ridiculous bad! Finally brings the tab and it was totally wrong. He needs to find another job. Terrible!!!!

I loved that the music wasn t too loud! The appetizers were absolutely delicious. (Spinach artichoke dip and Pretzel with beer cheese!) however when it came to service and my main meal it wasn t as good. I ordered a mini pizza without mushrooms. It had mushrooms all over it. When we asked about it she said it was the kitchens fault. That was all. Then I asked for Dr Pepper and was given coke and never got a refill. No one at my table got more than 1 refill. Then the server came and complained about her staff, the kitchen, the management, and it made the evening not enjoyable.

They exceeded my expectations. My daughter wanted her 17th bday here. Its been years since Ive been to BJs. Service was up to par for a party of 18. I had the prime rib, delicious . Au Jus was okay. Advice, the deep dish pizza is not a Chicago style deep dish. Its just added bread from what I saw and someone in my party. I tried to tell her what the reviews say lol. But overall it was a great experience overall for everyone.

I love BJs. Been coming here for decades. Love the house brews and all the daily specials and whatnot. Its like the worlds best chain brewpub, I think this bay area location is the best one around. I wish the world had more brew pub type restaurants. There are a lot of good ones in the hill country area but Houston needs more. BJs pretty much started that whole thing. At least well always have BJs. This place rocks. God Bless yall. And oh yeah, pizookies! If you dont know you better ask somebody Kid-friendliness: My kids love BJs, lots of great kids meal options and they really really love the pizookies.

Since the pandemic the food portions have gotten TINY and more pricey. Its always been a little higher priced which is fine the quality is usually worth it but its kinda out of control these days. I get everything has gone up but they are just taking advantage of it at this point. Mixed drinks have always been weak so pregame or go to a real bar if you want drinks other than beer or wine with dinner. Waiter service can be hit or miss sometimes. Theres a couple really good ones and a few pretty lousy who will bring you one round of drinks your food and thats it. They do at least have a pretty diverse menu so anyone can find something they like and pretty good gluten free options but in my opinion you can find better close by or a short drive away. Cant say Ill be visiting again, I would just rather spend my money elsewhere. Not worth taking the chance or occasionally the wait.

We ordered a Good Friday catered work lunch and the food was enjoyed by all!!! Baked Ziti, Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli, Garlic Knots, and Caesar Salad left our team of 9 fully satisfied with a good amount of leftovers. The meal included plates, utensils and serving spoons/forks so we were well taken care of. Pick up curbside was smooth as I text the restaurant I was present and the server brought out our bags promptly. Great experience and well definitely use BJs for future work lunches.

Although our service with Angelique was good, the sliders had no flavor. The french fries were decent, but the only thing that gave the patties flavor were the pickle and ketchup. I noticed that we had just missed the happy hour specials by five minutes, its a shame because they seem like they were pretty good deals, but not sure if I want to go back to be disappointed again.

I regret getting carryout. If they mess up an order, it ll be during carry out when you ve already tipped, miles away, and less likely to complain. This is no where near a deep dish, not even close. The fact that the cook thought it was ok to serve this makes me start to open delivery and drive through order I get. If I had gotten served this at the restaurant, I would have returned it and expected them to tip me for wasting my time. Don t waste yours, go elsewhere for deep dish pizza to go.

Really nice salad. It was fresh and tasty. I was pleased since they allowed us to stay with our dog. Personnel was very attentive and brought our plates very quickly. The only aspect we did not like was the table next to us remained dirty all the time. No one came outside to the terrace where we seated to clean it up... Kind of a bummer for an otherwise great experience.

We dined around 8:30pm on a Sunday. The positive is that our food came out fast in fact too fast. Our meals were very forgettable. My wife had the shrimp tacos with black beans. The tacos ($14) were average at best with the black beans having no flavor but tons of salt. My son had a cheeseburger ($13) which he stated it was unremarkable. I had the chicken parmesan ($21) with a side of spaghetti. It looked and tasted as if it was microwaved from a frozen dinner then plated. I was very disappointed.

There was an issue with the food, the manager and bartender were super apologetic and comped both our meals even though only one was messed up. We appreciated them trying to make things right and would give them a chance in the future, we both understand things happen and sometimes quality control issues slip through the cracks. Quality of service gets a 5 stars, the bartender was really knowledgeable about beers and very friendly. He looked to be pretty busy and still made the effort to answer questions we had about beers.
