First time eating at this restaurant, definitely won t be the last. Ordered medium rare steak with Heinz 57 steak sauce. Steak was so perfectly seasoned - never used the steak sauce. Side dishes of pinto beans, fried okra and fried mushrooms were off the charts. Our waitress was not only helpful and courteous but funny as well. Fantastic restaurant would be an understatement.

This is some of the best food Ive ever had. The meat is juicy and extremely tasteful. I had the ribeye and my daughter had the 1/2 baby back ribs. As we picked up the rib, the meat immediately fell off the bone. The green beans were crisp and cooked with onions and tomatoes. Those had a ton of flavor as well. If i had to complain, it would be the service. However, they were extremely busy, so its not really their fault.

Three hostess couldn t be bothered and one was just rude to me and another customer. Ordered a steak with potatoes and Mac. Steak was excellent and cooked perfectly but sides were both cold. Cheese wasn t even melted on the cold potatoes. Waitress Lily was excellent and very kind. Offered to have them remade but I was in a hurry so declined and they brought me the receipt. Ended up I just paid the full Bill and left

We went last night with a table of 5, it was a short wait, about 10 to 15 minutes not bad for Saturday night, with live music! The music was wonderful! Down side, we didnt expect it, so our dinner visit was, at times hard to hear. But, the service was impeccable, food was hot and yummy. Steak was cooked properly! The Mac and cheese definitely did not hit the mark, but everything else from the sweet tea to the brownie was on point! Cant give a price range, I didnt pick up the tab on this one! Thanks Mom and Dad! Vegetarian options: They have a veggie plate and a few salad options. Parking: Its a large parking lot but fills up kind of quickly they were pretty busy and they were about 10 spots available for parking. Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly atmosphere but the restaurant does have a bar area. Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair accessible there were a couple of people comfortably seated at tables in wheelchairs when we arrived. Staff is willing to make accommodations for easier accessibility.

Great cuts of meat at a fair price and had a great bartender. Aa far as food, the presentation is eh, but very good. y Youll eat every bite if you get the Filet. The place could use some renovations. The bar is small with only 5 seats and and stools are too short. The bar counter is almost above chest length when you sit down, making eating a stretch. Great wine selection though.

Passing through Texas, found this gem of a comfortable steak house in Wichita Falls! Walked in and sat down (no rez) to a delicious rib eye and homemade German potatoes! I have always enjoyed McBrides and have been there many times over the past five years I have lived here in Wichita Falls. My original review was that it was great service, family friendly, and a great time. This trip my server was great, the food was good but there was a drunk man with his party and they were being very loud and using very offensive language. There was a family behind them having to listen to this drunk, loud mouth swearing and carrying on. Our waitress was very apologetic, I informed her it was not her fault. I went up front and asked that the manager should take care of it. He never showed. We finally went up front to pay our bill, as we did not want to hear the foul mouth anymore. The manager never left the back room to even address the drunk or our concerns. I feel for all the other groups that had to listen to this loud mouth, but I guess his money was somehow worth more than ours. Im not sure I will go back with management like that. Sad for a family business.

The steaks were good, not great! The sides were warm at best and when they brought out hot sides they didn t taste good. Just spent $75 on a meal not even worth $40. I gave them 2 stars just because of the service and steak you can clearly see in the photos the sides were replaced. Save your time and money.

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience at McBrides Steak House! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting. This Ribeye is the real deal. I went to Texas Roadhouse and thought, this cant be right! I was right. The best place to get a REAL steak is McBrides Steakhouse. Had a chance to visit this place and some other steakhouses in the Wichita Falls area this was my favorite. The prices are more reasonable for the New York strips compared to other local steakhouses. Sides are good and portions are large. During my second visit I tried the burger. It s by far the best burger in town. You can tell the quality of the beef is top notch. Shout out to the bartender who suggest the grilled jalapeño on the side of the burger.

The best steakhouse in town! Started off with their very cheesy and crispy potato skins as an appetizer. Their New York strip was perfectly cooked and the Mac and cheese was super creamy. Was not a fan of their whipped potatoes or gravy, didn t have much flavor to them. The best entree was their burger. Loved the mesquite wood flavor and thick slices of bacon. You must try their bread pudding dessert! Not too sweet and the cinnamon sugar on the ice cream made it so much better. Can t wait to come back !

4-19-24. Back again 1 year later and they still have the best steaks in town. They are so good when my wife asked for steak sauce the server said ok but taste it first? She was right!! We had my brothers bday dinner on March 29th. For a party of 13 , we were very disappointed with the food which was surprising. Some of the partys steaks were not cooked properly, others the food was cold when brought to our table. And the food was not good. No seasoning, it was very plain. Not the usual food u that u would get from a steakhouse for sure...also the waiter had a tough time keeping up with our party. UPDATE..2/23/24...very unfortunate evening at McBrides. My daughters steak which was supposed to be cooked medium was very obviously rare to medium rare. It was taken back and a new potato was put on the new plate but had sour cream which the original one did not. It was like a struggle to get the whole plate done correctly and judging by other customers, we werent the only ones. She visits here from Denver and has always wanted McBrides her 1st night here...not sure that will be the case next time. 2019...Best steakhouse in town, bar none. Every single time my sis and brother-in-law come from Fort Worth they want to eat here.

We were seated immediately, Derek was so polite! My daughter and I shared the $38.00 steak, it was juicey and flavorful. Tha kids (12 yrs old) ordered their own food, my granddaughter was speaking low, but he never made her feel she needed to talk louder or hurried. That was our first time there and will not be our last. To night was a date night dinner for the hubby and I. We have been here a few times and the food and service is always amazing. Tonight we tried the onion rings for the first time. We have been all over town to find the perfect onion ring, a tonight we found it!!! They were so delicious battered freshly and cooked perfectly. We both ordered the burgers for the very first time as well. Let me tell you. First off sharing is caring with this one lol. It s HUGE!!! The burger is made with steak scraps and oh my goodness gracious it just melts in your mouth!!! Our new favorite burger night to go place! Also thank you Ms.Kaylee for taking such great care of us. She made sure our drinks were always refilled, asked if we were doing ok, and made sure no empty dishes were left on the table all while being pleasant and smiling.

Exceptional experience having our father s Celebration of Life in the private room. McBrides was his favorite steakhouse and rightly so! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, there was not one issue or complaint. Mathew was our server and he was excellent! He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of! I walked in to place an order to go. The girls at the front counter graciously took my to go order. One of them even remembered me from last time and remembered that I like all my sides in separate containers. I asked them a time line of when my order would be ready, they said about 25-30mins. I told them I was leaving to run a couple of errands. By the time I got back my to go order was ready waiting for me pick up. I checked my order and everything was exactly as I requested. Awesome steakhouse! Exactly what you expect from an old school establishment like McBrides. The service was good but not great. But thats my only gripe the food, cleanliness and atmosphere was all A+!

Great food, drinks, and service! We sat at the bar, our bartender was awesome! Other customers were friendly and helpful as well. We had the rib-eye steak, Cajun pasta with shrimp, and cabbage(it was amazing)! We will definitely be back!

I came in with a group of 20 people. Everyone knows how service can be potentially compromised with such a large group. They were able to accommodate us and provide our food rapidly. There was one waitress that took charge on our table. She was phenomenal at bringing in additional drinks and updating our order. The food came out rather quickly after everybody ordered. And I tell you what my ribeye was cooked perfectly.

Coming to eat here while I stay in town for work. Mmmmmm. You must stop by and eat here. That steak and ribs got really good flavor with a nice cold beer of course. No steak sauce needed, eat it as it is. Wheelchair accessibility: Very convenient no dramatic incline

I dont know how this place is 4.5 stars. For the money we spent here, we expected a lot more. Both our steaks were too salty and the sides and bread seemed frozen or pre-made. My Ribeye was too thin for choice. We dont mind spending money on a good steak dinner but this place was worst than what you expect at a chain. Not the ambiance or quality you expect for choice cuts.

We had never been to this steakhouse before. We had planned on going to the one that has Texas in its name but it was really busy and we didnt feel like waiting. We were seated right away and our waiter took our order. Within just a few minutes our food was delivered to the table. The food was great and the service was equal to the food. For the other steakhouse they are lucky that there isnt a McBrides close by in every city they are in. We travel to Wichita Falls every now and then and we will make it a habit to eat at McBrides. PS They even had live music that wasnt so loud that it blasted you out of your seats. Just a lone singer singing old country songs.
