Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

LeMay helped us so much!! She was wonderful and works well with us and our mother who is deaf. The restaurant was very clean as well and the food was great. We asked for it to go and received each meal in its own bag. What wonderful service!! Thank you!

The first drive-thru window says please pay here, but I actually had to pay at the second window. Wait was longer than usual. I ordered the pancake platter with bacon and a sprite. The pancakes had burnt spots on them. Bacon wSprite. And no straw for my drink, which I didnt realize until after I pulled off.

Forget it ! By the time I was able to finish ordering, my Son Called & stated, he had already eaten @ Whataburger & just as I was going to finalize the order, they deleted it, no patience @ all. That s why I stated Forget it I know he could have eaten another one with no problem. I like them quite a bit myself. Go Stros !!!

We ran in to use the restroom and grab a bite to go from this location. Nothing spectacular in either direction. There were two homeless, one sitting at the front of the location and the other walking around in the parking lot. The one walking around asked for a dip, which I didnt have for him but then he walked away. Food was as always at whataburger.

Ordered online, went through the drive thru to pick up my order. At the speaker I gave them my name, they told me to pull up. When I got to the window after waiting for about 10 minutes in line they informed me they lost my order. They treated me horrible as if it was my fault. The manager kaleb winter forced me to get out of the line and wait in the parking lot for my order after I refused. He then threatened to call the police on me just because i didn t want to pull up and wait. This has happened to many times while using the online app. So I was just tired of making it easy for them when they could care less about the customer!! Will never go back to central fwy whataburger!! Horrible customer service.

i doordash and i eat gluten-free. i do like the burger patties here, and cant remember being displeased with the service. i just dont like how crowded it gets inside the store sometimes. but overall, i like when my customers order whataburger. I m from az we have a Whataburger there. But it did not hit like it hit in TEXAS. I was staying at the hotel across the street and need some food so I walked over. It was busy inside as well as the drive thru. I ordered my food and sat down to wait. Some how with it being crazy this employee knew it was my first time and wanted to make it memorable. Before I speak about him the entire staff was great. No one missed a beat and work together like well oiled machine. Now back to Author. Through all the organized chaos he made me fill like he was my personal waiter, while he was boxing cinnamon rolls and bagging fries. He definitely went above and beyond. Like most fast food places in this town, the food was neither fast nor was it hot. I sat in the pickup spot for 45 minutes after checking in on the app. Called in and spoke to the manager, and according to her she was the only one doing anything inside the restaurant. I filled out a complaint with the receipt from my visit. We will see if things get corrected. This visit was unacceptable and the owner needs to fix the issues in their restaurants...

Editing to my old review to add that this location has gone down hill completely. They do not care to get orders correct or when asked to remake them correctly do that either. When you spend money and drive 30 minutes to your nearest location you expect things to be correct. We have learned to check before leaving the establishment but now when things are wrong the Manager has an attitude like you are being dishonest or trying to steal. We have no problem showing the receipt and bringing the incorrect food back to you. But that has not been good enough to get good service and the remake be correct. Thanks but no Thanks to this location on Central Freeway, they have ruined a good thing.

Late night stop here passing through Texas. For starters, the drive-through was probably 6 to 8 cars deep. Inside, there were about 6 people just waiting as they had ordered. We ordered, and our food took just over 30 minutes. You could tell people were agitated. The food wasnt bad, the atmosphere was a little chaotic, and there was tension in the air. It was not the greatest experience. It was Sunday night around 10:30 pm, so maybe that played a part in it all. Maybe it will be a better experience for you. Parking: Not a lot of spots, the layout is different than most places. Kid-friendliness: Kids can find meals here. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking spots and easy to maneuver around.

I came into this location - walked after my truck broke down, had it towed, got a nearby hotel - haven t eaten since breakfast. Come into this location and there s two ladies in front of me in line. Right after me an elderly man came in. It s busy. Yet - in the middle of it - a lady comes in and asked for the manager who comes out of the closet office and greets her with a hug - purposely blocking the line and letting this new lady s guy friend to order in front of us. Incredulous. As much as I love whataburger - this exact location is dead to me. This service is the worst. Came to Whataburger 1st time while on vacation from out of state, where we dont have this business. Michelle and Vanessa made our visit remarkable, fresh French fries and onion rings. Burgers and chicken sandwiches were hot as well. The sweet tea was excellent! Love their fries as well, great flavor. Staff welcomed us with a smile on their faces. Checked on us while eating. Inside was clean and well kept. Such a huge menu, so many options! If I lived here, my weight would definitely increase . If were ever back in Wichita Falls, well be back! This location seems very small and cramped. The floor was very slick and greasy. We werent offered any ketchup or sauce. The country music was very loud. Bathroom is pretty large but only for 1 person and had no changing table. I changed my toddlers diaper in the back of our car. Also seems like the bathroom is shared with employees . Wouldnt recommend bringing a group here. Staff seemed somewhat friendly. Not much parking. We parked at a hotel and walked.

Coagulated blood in drink! Stopped in while traveling. December 29th early afternoon at shift change. It was our first time in and the manager guy that took our order said welcome to the family. My friend ordered unsweetened tea. Another lady employee had to get the tea for her from behind the counter. When the helper lady finally brought her the tea, we left. Later, she looked in the cup and found bloody mucous stirring in the tea. Disgusting! Im not sure if it was a loogie or menstrual material. F YOU WHATABURGER!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! OK, I guess I have to admit it was probably not WHATABURGERs fault and likely just a bad employee, but my friend is a nurse and inspected the contaminant. Were sure it was coagulated blood even though we didnt have it analyzed by a lab. She noticed the taste was off immediately and asked me to try it. I did. Looked in the cup and then... barf. Tasted like blood. Hard to share this information because its so disgustingly embarrassing that this happened to us.

It has one bathroom and the womens line was to the door. The drink station malfunctioned so you could have either tea or tea. But they were moving with purpose. My cheese wasnt melted on my part melt

It s always debated if this is better than in n out burger - and as an adopted Californian I can say I think the Californian chain is better - the burgers here just don t do it for me!

Consistently rude at drive thru window. No communication, missing items, etc etc Food is fine but not worth the wait or the trouble dealing with employees
