Great experience, kids playground, clean restrooms, food selection not full yet, and to bad you cant choose your neighbors, we had a person who had truck running through out both movies, window down smoking like a train rolling coal on take off, hacking a lung out every now and then, hard to ignore but you have to, over all an experience

I m visiting my friend here in Amarillo and we were recommended to go to this movie theatre from our wonderful waitress at k-n drive in (check it out for some awesome service and root beer floats !) and let me tell you this theatre was one of the highlights of my trip! It s recently been reopened with new ownership we were told- and that we should come out to support its new journey and so we did for the double feature of twisters. We were greeted at the gate by the ever so friendly Mr. Bing, who told some funny jokes while our payment processed. He explained everything effieciently and was very sweet + friendly! We pulled in and got settled and turned our radio on to the station- sound worked perfectly, the screen was clear, and we just had the best time eating yummy food with blankets and pillows in the car. Such a fun time! You gotta stop in!

New owners are absolutely awesome, had a great experience this last Saturday, will be coming back. Ps. Please adopt that dog that roams around and make her the mascot! She was a very sweet dog and I know shes a stray because of your Facebook but I saw her bring so much joy to kids.

It s going to be pretty sad to know this Drive-in is closing. It s been around since the 80 s. It sat closed for a while but then opened back up. Now it looks to be closing indefinitely. I wish I had the funds to run it. A lot of memories have come from this place. Farewell Tascosa Drive-in!

Its pretty sad that this is our only drive in theater in Amarillo Texas, Im not sure what his name is but he drive up to my daughters car windows and was rude as hell with my grandbaby sitting in the car with her, she was so excited to see the new Barbie movie that they advertised all weekand was told very rudely with over 10 other cars behind her that they arent showing anything Ive been in retail my whole life and Im here to tell you that there is a way to treat customers and a way not to!! Ive heard of this happening more and more, I definitely wont be back, if you dont want our business then well give it to someone who does!!

TO your answer One I did ask the Concession stand How come there was so much static and is there a way to fix it... All they said is they didnt know!!! So yes I ASKED Thank You I saw you had a review about sound quality 2 and 4 yrs ago So maybe time for an upgrade as they recommend on those REVIEWS or better station IDK ITS not meant to put you Down we like the Drive in prefer it than Theater We come to Amarillo and this is one the attraction to make sure and go all the months we are here but I just dont have money to spend on movie and not be able to clearly hear it or at all I have nice system to get that theater sound but loud static NO THANKS It was just disappointing especially since we were not able to be in Amarillo as long as we usually are this time around

It was ok. Its like the old school drive-in. Wish the concessions options were a little better. I do like they have the fry house. It would be cool if they had more options than they have. If they could make it more like a restaurant with more options. If a food truck can do some cool stuff, so could they and get more customers in. I wish the parking area was a little better organized. I really like the double features.

Normally Id give this place a 5 star but tonight was the worst encounter with the cashier working concession stand Ive ever had. She was the taller blonde of the two working the window at about 1030pm. Tried getting some ice cream for my kids and apparently it was an issue for her that I was ordering ice cream cones not sure if they were really out of ice cream or not but the eye roll and the attitude with it was very unnecessary. I ended up opting for the pops and even that was an issue. The owner is always very nice and pleasant and to encounter someone working there and supposed to represent them and the company can really give someone a sour taste.

Great firework show. We were there an hour early and 4th in line. The cars pile up quick! My only complaint is the concession very expensive and the line was blocking the view of an entire row of cars I missed more the half of the first movie . Needed refills in the second movie but they shut down the concession stand. Just bring your own cooler with food. I would come back again just park somewhere else!!!

We had a really great time here on the 4th of July with the 2 movie along with fireworks before the movies. I love Drive in movies I miss the one in NY not proud to be from NY but they sure have a great one with from the moment you park when the gate opens around 5pm you payed for your spot then they have foods like sub shop Ice cream shop sit down restaurant game room and mini gulf. All week they have different events from country line dancing to karaoke and a once a month car show. Would love something like that here. I miss Silver lake drive in, but I dont miss NY. :)

Havent been in years, my husband and I thought wed take the kids. Everyone had fun. Kids got to play on the playground with other kids. Food and drink were super cheap. We went ahead and got the sticker for the future. The staff was awesome. We had no issues. The grounds were clean, not trash or broken bottles. Well definitely come back in the future.

Clean, friendly staff, good movie food. Has been open throughout the pandemic, which is great. Been waiting on the fry shack to open back up for like 2 years now is my only complaint. Fun old school experience. The food was totally trashy and totally tasty. The screen was big and clear and the radio audio worked perfectly, and the guy gave very clear instructions over the radio. Pity the 2 movies they put on (the tax collector & black water abyss) absolutely sucked, and I mean completely stank, but thats not their fault! If I lived in Amarillon Id go all the time

I dont have many drive in experiences, but I can say I will be going back. The concession prices were cheap and the ticket prices were not bad. There were not many people here tonight so finding a good spot was easy. The only problem we had was other car lights comming on and off throughout the movies. The friendliness of the staff was top notch also.
