The food is always fresh and delicious! I have tried many flavors of the wings, but the last one Ive ordered was the sweet and sticky and mac and cheese. Its like a hot honey flavor. Parking: Plenty of parking in the front and the carwash. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly

Gave this spot a try after a recommendation and it lived up! I would make a stop here before ever going to Bdubs for the wings. Loved the breading and the Wang sauce was awesome! The Mac and cheese didnt exactly match what was shown on the menu online, so that was a bummer, but the wings made up for that. This will be my go-to for wings on a Football Sunday!

Went on the hunt for real barbecue not from a chain restaurant. We found a gem!!! On the fringe. Had the brisket, rib sandwich and smoked sausage sandwich. The baked beans and potato salad were awesome. Even the funnel cake rocked!!! We will be going back to hit the fried catfish and shrimp. Maybe the wings on a third visit!! So worth it!!!

So I am walking down Venice Beach looking for some good food, and my wife says to look for shrimps. My daughter and I walk up and down the beach, and most places have some 50 or more choices at all the food stands. We walk by and see this place Wangs and Thangs, and I am thinking it s probably an Asian thing and they will have seafood. Walk up to the counter, say hi to the really nice cashier and order a pound of shrimp. Now I am thinking these are probably the tiny little breaded shrimp that you just throw in the fryer and resell to customers. Nope! These are all hand breaded, real honey and garlic coated shrimp which were HUGE and fried to perfection so they came out juicy and hot. The owner who is working hard in the back comes out, greets us and tells us just try them out and gets us a sample of their made from scratch lemonade slushies (and they were excellent as well). And man, was he right. Real honey with garlic drenched shrimp were amazing! I come back to get the lemonade and ask for two straws because my two kids are like cats and dogs, so he gets me my lemonade and gets me extra lemonade in two extra cups so they don t have to fight over it. All I got to say is, I appreciate you and keep up the good work!

Really awesome, little ma and pa feel to this place. The BBQ was delicious I have a preference for the brisket. I had the 3 meat plate which had sausage link, pork ribs and brisket. Then you could choose 2 sides the bbq beans was delicious along with mozzarella sticks. Also had their wings its crispy Ill probably try a different flavor next time the hot ranch tasted really vinegaret to me but none the less cooked really good. A nice spot to check out if just passing by or looking for something new. There is no military discount.

Staff were wonderful and helpful and very friendly. First time we were there and the food we ordered was quick , hot and delicious. My daughter ordered catfish with okra, husband had ribs and I had the six combo which had three ribs, two brisket (they gave me four cause they were out of the mild smoked sausage). Baked beans were good, potato salad was good, Mac n cheese was good and okra was good. Actually not good - great. Marked them down slightly on atmosphere because I hate booths, but they went to their outside seating and grabbed a chair for me. My daughter particularly loved their hot sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant. Oh and they have a drive thru too.

Ribs are better than Rib Crib! The wings are fabulous! Brisket was so tender it almost melted in my mouth and the potato salad, cold slaw and baked beans are all delicious. And we love the banana pudding. And then add in the home style atmosphere and the service has been great. Its definitely our newest favorite place to eat.

It was my first time, saw a post on Facebook a while back and their name really stuck in my head. Finally got to go today and let me tell you everything was so good! The brisket was soooo juicy and had that good smoky flavor, the boneless wings weren t just chicken nuggets, they were big ole juicy wings. The breading was crispy and the sauce was very flavorful and coated on the chicken nicely. The sides were amazing as well. Portions were splendid as well. Free drink refills and great service as well. All around so nice, and they mentioned upcoming Karaoke nights! Such a gem! Can t wait to come back

We tried Wangs and Thangs for the first time tonight and let me tell you.... it was FREAKING AMAZING!! We have been on the hunt for crunchy, saucy wings and this was on point. I had the fried catfish with the best coating Ive tasted. The greens I dont even know what to say other than, take alllll my money seriously try them! We loved everything about this place. The vibe is something Wichita Falls is missing! Kid-friendliness: The kids menu was plenty of good and the sides options are more than any kid could ask for! The boneless wings were huge and made with real chunks of meat and not just fat.

I ordered the Buffalo honey boneless wings w/ mac n cheese & baked beans, a strawberry margarita on the rocks. Buffalo Honey catfish that came with cole slaw & French fries. I also got banana pudding. The food was spicy. I ve never known buffalo honey to be spicy. I think the food taste better the next day after it was in my fridge. The banana pudding taste like it was made with the jello pudding not from scratch. My drink was water down. The catfish plate was really good. Overall, I think the service was very good and I would recommend folks to try it out.

Go here, dont look anywhere else, Im not kidding. I had brisket, baked beans, and potato salad - tried the chopped beef and had the wang sauce wings. Everything was well above average for Wichita Falls BBQ, but the brisket will make you want to move in next door so you can eat it every day, and I just might do that.

It took is 45 mins to get our food and we LITERALLY were the only ones there. When other guests started coming put with their orders before us, we shouldve known something was up. The beans were straight pork n beans. No flavor, no seasonings, no nothing. The food wasnt hot either with a 45 min wait. We drove all the way from Oklahoma to try this place and we were very disappointed.. $45 wasted in my humble opinion. Pass them up and get something else

This place was recommended to me by a friend and LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING! Get the Buffalo honey wings I ve never had wings so crispy and juicy like these. Wingstop needs to take note because these are on point lmao they also have this margarita called the hurricane and idk who s back there in the kitchen, but they did something with that one. They have a musician outside too and he was killing it on the saxophone. He s a kind soul and definitely has great taste. The customer service is fantastic, they make you feel so welcomed and always make sure you re taken care of. Would definitely be my new place to eat at!

Great food and friendly staff. Service was a little slow, but not slow enough to knock the overall rating down from 5*. The overall quality, quantity and value was more than enough to satisfy. Overall, a great meal. On a side note, I am very spice tolerant and tried a small sample of the sauce used for the wing challenge. Honestly, I feel like I could have powered through it and overcame the challenge, but I would have definitely earned that $25 off my bill. I was still feeling the heat even 15 minutes later.

Tried them out for lunch yesterday. I got a 10 piece fries and Mac and cheese. 26 bucks. I ask to dine in and the they brought everything out in tight plastic bag and told me bye. By the time I got home everything was soggy. I double checked the menu prices online and realized they double charged me for my meal. I paid double for eh food. Horrible first experience.

Friend and I did our weekly lunch at a new old classic on MLK. Dwight Holcomb s new restaurant has the charm, friendly atmosphere and great food of the past when the Eastside was booming. With this food he just may start a trend. Catfish, wings, fried okra and sides were all great. Service was friendly and comfortable. A well spent couple of hours. We ll be back. BBQ next time. I tried Wangs and Thanks and it was a really great experience. The first time I went, the girls were very friendly and efficient. The second time I went was the same. The third time I met the owner and he took my order and rang me up. He was very friendly. The food is absolutely amazing!! Ive had the brisket, chopped beef and the wings, all fantastic!! The only complaint I have is the brisket had too much fat and not enough meat. Other than that everything else I had was delicious. I will definitely go back to try the fish plate.

I heard about this new restaurant that opened but hadnt tried it yet, I did today though. I was working several houses down from Wangs and Thangs, and I could smell that delicious BBQ from all the way down the street. Needless to say it didnt take me long to get that work finished and over to Wangs and Thangs to buy a plate of food. BTW, the prices gotta be the best in town for what you get (a lot!) The staff were friendly and had a plate of that fantastic brisket, potato salad, beans, etc fixed up in seconds. One plate and I was full and fully satisfied. I will absolutely be coming back, I gotta try those wings next! Wangs and Thangs, check em out yall! *UPDATE*: I tried all flavors of the wings, and theyre all great (hot cheeto is my favorite) Next time I try the catfish.
