Cold Stone Creamery is located in The Shops on Broad right off the 287 freeway, serving up delicious creamy ice cream and more such as candy apples, fudge, and chocolate pecan clusters! We came through on a weekday in the evening and waited roughly 5 minutes to be served due to the line from everyone wanting ice cream. Inside, there are tables and chairs to sit at and enjoy your dessert and also have restrooms on site as well. They have many menus posted up about their signature creations, which involve ice cream that is mixed with other ingredients such as cookies, sprinkles, and other various toppings. They also have a display case showcasing all the ice cream flavors they carry and are willing to give you any sample you would like. We went ahead and sampled the cotton candy and mint chocolate chip in which they tasted amazing but went ahead and ordered the Oreo overload, which consisted of double oreo cookies, chocolate chips and fudge in sweet cream. We also got the birthday cake remix, which was a cake batter ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, brownies, and fudge. We went ahead and got one in a waffle cone and the other in a cup. The ice cream was rich and creamy and definitely lived up to its name. It was packed with flavor, and the toppings played a tremendous role in the making. The brownie was nice and moist and complemented the cake batter, while the sprinkles gave a nice sugary taste in every bite. All of the staff and employees were super attentive and were eager to serve us. The store manager was even on site helping out getting the line moving and promoting their fabulous reward card program. Overall, it was definitely a sweet treat to have, and Im looking forward to enjoying another one soon or maybe trying some of the candy apples, caramel, and fudge they also serve.

Wish I could give 0 stars. First, the location on Google says Broad street. However, its really located on 287 Frontage Rd. After I figured out where they were located. I arrived at 9:23. The employee watched us walk to the door and pull the handle. He then mouthed through the glass that they were closed. Google, as well as the sign on the door, says 10:00pm closing. The gentlemen mouthed that they closed at 9pm. The countertops had been broken down and cleaned and they were mopping the floor at 9:23pm in a place that says they close at 10pm. Obviously, they dont care because I see several other recent reviews citing the exact same scenario. I wont waste my time again.

We purchased the $13.99 cupcakes at work on their site on 2/6/24.. it showed they were in stock so we paid and arrived at our pick up time to be told there was none in stock. (Them calling to warn us would have been nice). So we ask for a refund and are told we have to wait.... which we do. Several days go by and still no refund, so we speak to manager William who tells us to call back on 2/16/24 if it still hasnt been received, so we do only to be greeted by a big temper tantrum. The manager William yelled at us, didnt allow us to get a word in and then hung up on us. All for us asking for either a refund or for the actual cupcakes which we paid for over 10 Days ago! Ive never encountered such a childish and immature individual who thinks its okay to verbally abuse customers. If you look at the reviews on here many mention him by name so Im shocked hes still there. We will never return to this location, and if hes angry over us reporting him hell be surely unhappy to see the BBB review hes about to get. Go get manager training so youll be prepared to deal with people asking for items theyve already purchased. It is now 02/23/24 and they have still not refunded me for the $13.99 cupcakes I paid for and they didnt have in stock. NEVER buy from them from their website. They will steal your money and never give you what you paid for or refund you.

I spoke with the manager William on 2/11 about a refund for $14 for my friend because when we ordered on 2/6, the website had the cupcakes available but when I got there, they were sold out. When I spoke to him, he said the refund was processed and it takes 7-14 days but to check back with him on 2/16 if my friend didnt received yet. When I called on the 16th, he was instantly upset with me saying we filed a complaint (we didnt file anything) and that he has no control over the time the bank takes (I understand that). I could barely get a word in but asked if we could get the cupcakes today instead of the refund (since we havent got it yet) which he said no. He kept on how rude it was to file a complaint and he has no control over the timeframe then ended the call. This is unprofessional and felt like I walked into a firing squad.

The Irving location canceled my cake order last minute so I called this location and WILLIAM was sooooooo helpful. Like very very clutch. He took my order, empathized with me, didn t charge me a rush fee, AND gave me a reduced price! First time coming here, and it was amazing! The service was the first thing I noticed, and I felt welcomed. Overall extremely disappointing. The only 2 times we ve been there they didn t have the sprinkle dipped waffle cones or bowls. When I inquired, the young man advised that their machine was broken, and that when it is plugged into the outlet that it blows the breaker for the whole store. He continued to say that they run out of the waffle cones and bowls because they haven t prepared enough. I asked him if this is an ongoing issue, then why doesn t he let management or the owners know so they could be better prepared for the evening rushes that they ve been receiving daily. He told me that I was complaining when I simply asked a question as to why they didn t have these in stock for the second time that we returned. Additionally, this young man who helped us on our first visit, was so scattered and paying attention to everything else that was going on, that he left out toppings that we had requested as with the young lady who assisted us this evening. You basically have children running a business in the evenings because there is no adult presence.

I ordered and paid for a cake a week before my sons birthday. When I went to pick it up the day it was supposed to be ready, the sweet teenager behind the counter told me that my cake was not there. I told her it was okay since we had to reschedule his party because he was sick and asked her if we could take the order down to have it made for the following weekend. She said that would be fine, and she took the order. I asked her if the person that was making the cake would know that I paid for it and she said yes. The next Tuesday, I got a phone call from the manager. He asked me how the cake had turned out. I was really confused but explained to him the situation. He then got very defensive telling me that there was a discrepancy and there was a signature of someone that proves it was picked up. I told him it was not me that picked up the cake. I told him that if he was going to accuse me of something I did not do then I would make sure that my circle knew not to order from him. He then started yelling and threatening to post video and audio of me picking the cake up. I told him that it wouldnt matter because it was not me that picked the cake up. He then asked me if I still wanted the cake and I told him absolutely not and told him I wanted a refund. This could have been handled much better. Customer service is poor.

My rating has nothing to do with the cleanliness or quality of the treats. It is over the service we recieved. My husband and I came in tonight (12/2) between 8:30-8:45. We waited in the busy line happily. Ordered quickly without issue, and watched as the ice creams were prepared. My daughter has never been so she was in awe, thankfully, and distracted by the completely inappropriate conversation these teens were having behind the counter. They were shouting loudly about how one of the boys was sooo rude and how he called me (a blonde cashier with glasses) ho and another girl commented well you have had like 10 guys at this point they made eye contact with me. Not wanting to draw attention to the situation and make my daughter aware I kept my mouth shut. Had she been less captivated though I could easily be explaining what the term ho is to my 10 year old. It s highly unprofessional, even for teenagers, especially in a family establishment. Very disappointed. I hope that this review will serve to make parents aware of possible things their little could overhear and maybe help management address professionalism.

I ordered a cake on 6/28 and asked that it be ready on 7/1 at 12 pm. Called the store a little after 12pm on that day and was told that the cake was not ready. Told the associate since the cake was not needed until the next day, I will give them a few hours more. Got to the store to get to get the cake and it was not ready at 3pm on 7/1. Associate asked for 10 minutes to finish up the cake and an 1 and an half hour later was not ready. The so call manager MICHAEL stated that the Associate stated that the associate assumed that I would get the cake on 7/2 . I stated she assumed wrong and demanded a refund. The manage pretend to go to the back and stated that the owner stated no refund since it was a custom cake. He made all kind of excuses ,even saying I stated I needed the cake by 7/2/2022 and that he had recording. I asked for him to play it and he came up with all kinds of excuses. The cake was for nieces birthday that had not see in 10 year. I left the store without a cake and called my bank to dispute the charges because the cake was not ready ontime. If i could give a negative star for review I would give it to this store. They funny thing is I read the reviews before I ordered the cake and decided to give them a chance. Next time I will go with what the reviews say.

Made an online order for a custom ice cream cake and scheduled to pick it up 2 days after putting in the order. The day the cake was suppose to be ready for me to pick up, I showed up and it was as if I never made an order even when I had proof of order, had order number present and everything. Supposedly, he said their cake department person knew where it was, but it would take him an hour or more to get there. Having 3 little kids with me, I couldn t wait that long so I told them I would just come back the next day and get it. Next day comes around and again-it s as if I never existed, I never made an order and I never showed up the day before to pick it up. (My card has been charged before I even tried to pick up the cake at this point) The guy was nice and tried to get me a cake, but nothing like I ordered (I came here specifically because they do custom ice cream cakes) At the end of the day, I got a cake, it was good. Just disappointed I did not get what I paid for and had to come up there twice (and with 3 littles, which is not easy). They said they would refund me since they messed and I did not get the cake I ordered. That has yet to happen. Giving two stars only because the worker was always nice. But didn t seem to know what was going on/how to find things (not sure if that was his fault or not).

My daughter and I prefer Cold Stone over the others (mainly Baskin & Marble Slab). She loves getting their strawberry and watching them mix in the extras (hard to call them toppings since they mix them into the ice cream). I typically pick from their listed creations instead of plain ice cream and I havent had a disappointing one yet. *If youre not wanting a whole lot of ice cream, get their smallest cup. I made the mistake of getting the middle size, Love It, and its always way too much for me. They pack the cup full of ice cream.

We had such a great experience at this location! There was a long line, but the staff took the time to assure each guest that they would get to us as soon as possible. My kiddo ordered a cone and finished the scoop on top before we could even pay, so we joked that he needed a refill. The staff made him an extra scoop and brought it out to us while we ate our ice cream on the bed of the truck. So nice and we can t wait to go back!

Can obviously tell that this location has TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! The line is always long and it takes FOREVER for you to get your ice cream! Theres always only 2-3 workers who take their sweet time moving SLOW not even trying to speed up the process in order to get the line shorter. This location needs more staff and a different/better manager if they want to remain open! Youre better off driving to Arlington and getting Cold Stone out of the Highlands because this location is absolute trash and youll be in there FOREVER to the point to where you wouldnt even want ice cream any more!!!

Ice cream is average, but very expensive. Been here three times...every time only one employee is helping customers (other goes in the back rather than help with online orders or the line) and it takes 15+ minutes from getting there to leaving with the order. Very nice store. I don t know if all ColdStone stores also have the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Co, items but this one does. They offer all the goodness of both and the smell of sugar and waffle cones is delightful. The store is very clean.

What a disaster. I ordered and paid for a cake for my sons birthday party. Today when I went to pick it up at the assigned time I was told they forgot to make the cake. How dare you take orders for a child s birthday party cake and then not be responsible enough to do the job.

Customer Service is unmatched!!! This will be our first Sunday tradition! We had the non diary raspberry sherbet for the little that has a diary allergy (maybe in the future there will be more non dairy ice cream options). I love the simple cotton candy and cake batter!

Would give zero stars if I could! Just went in to pick up my daughter s 18th birthday cake , waited in line for 40 minutes just to be told they gave the cake to someone else this morning. Horrible customer service and the employee has absolutely no compassion. He said I could wait 2 hours for them to make the cake or I could leave with nothing. He got upset because I asked for a refund . I will never go to another cold stone !

The owner/manager was a complete oaf, berating and belittling his entire staff of teenagers in front of a dozen or more customers over some issue about a customer asking to charge their device in the store. Thats the kind of stuff you hold morning meetings for and handle with grace and dignity, keeping in mind the young minds you are molding into responsible workers. Not whip cracking them like peons in a work camp. It was not an enjoyable atmosphere to sit there eating ice cream and watching the staff walking on eggshells. I will not be visiting that location again.

I had a gift card that wasn t working even though it was activated and loaded with money. Manager wasn t sure why it wasn t working and went ahead and comped my order for the trouble without asking. That s just great customer service.

Awesome customer service. Recently opened and was crazy busy, but the staff was amazing. They focused on each customer, got my order perfect, and was out quickly. Plus, they have a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory here too. I will be returning regulatory!
