Cheeseburger was delish. Tots and fries were good but a little warm, not hot. We pressed the button to order and about 5 minutes later they took our order. 45 minutes later the food arrived. Looked like one guy was running the food and cooking it. Idk. This was on a Saturday around 2:15 PM. If you have time, you should try. If we try again, we will go inside to order. We ordered from vehicle.

Not a burger person but these are SO GOOD, the food is fresh and tastes real( unlike most fast food places). The atmosphere very retro I LOVEE it. Knowing it s local and family owned too is just amazing. We spent $21 for two people and shared a cherry lime. Pretty affordable for good food.

Just imagine going to a burger joint in the 50s. They have an outdoor system like Sonic and you can also dine inside. The burgers are juicy and have a good flavor. It sometimes is hard to pick between the French fries and onion rings. They also have hotdogs/ chili dogs. Yes they will do chilli fries. Different options for burgers, also have a steak finger basket and your traditional shake. Dont forget to ask about the speciality Cherry limeade they make . Recommend stopping by for a burger.

Omg! Time has stood still for this mom and pop. The food was so good, I wanted to slap the people parked beside us. Thank you for staying so good! I had the cheeseburger basket. French fries were crinkle, the burger was juicy, the cheese was melted and my dr pepper was just damn good! Parking: Parking is where you would order by speaker. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly because you keep your kids in your car to order and eat.

I ordered a large bbq sandwich and tots for my lunch. It took me 45 minutes to get my lunch...I almost pulled away from the drive in when the guy finally came out with my food... The guy inside working taking orders was yelling at customers that he couldnt hear them. I was outside in my car... I also ordered before multiple people who ordered a lot more food than I did and they came after I ordered my food but somehow got there food before mine. I watched because I was paying attention just trying to find out why my small order was taking so long when I was just one guy and people were getting orders for their families... They had pulled up after and made their order while I was waiting for my food so it wasnt like they called it in...

One of my favorite burgers places in town. Every time I got I get so full of such a delicious burger. I ve had the stake finger basket to and it was absolutely delicious as well! It is an old time out dated restaurant. Still has the cigarette can on the wall. The food was okay, but not the greatest, service was mediocre at best. Parking: Not a lot of space to park (unless you fit under the canopies).

First time having Scotts Drive In and OMG it was so good! I got the Cowboy Burger with tots. The service was awesome! The guy that came to my car to deliver and take payment was so nice and friendly. I love the old timey atmosphere there. I love the way they dress too. White shirts, blue aprons, and a old timey hat(not sure what they are actually called) Definitely will be going back soon!

I was really impressed with the food and service here. They make one of the best chilli dogs Ive ever had. T he homemade chilli perfected this hotdog. I also gave their Cherry Limeade a try and it was way better than anything youd get at Sonic. They make a Limeade the way its supposed to be made.

Very disappointed to try this place after so many years. Looks tidy, clean, cooks wearing white shirt jackets and white chef hats... Burgers came out quick- too quick (which I wasnt expecting since cooked fresh) and hot BUT no flavor ... the meat was very moist, gray, no seasoning, no sear marks, ... Bun nice and crispy and good veggies. Im about to give up getting a good burger anywhere anymore. All the burger places seem to be cooking patties in advance and burgers are being served lukewarm. This one was hot but no burger aroma emitted from bag / first sign I probably was going to be disappointed. P.S. You are exactly right. You can t please everybody!

I ordered a cheeseburger with jalapeños and it was so good I wished I had ordered two. The outside of the burger had that little crisp of a smash burger but it was not dried out. The tater tots were hot and crispy, just perfect. The atmosphere is nostalgic to a time even before me but I loved it.

Walked in there 15 minutes later and they told me they hadn t even started the order. Ended up leaving and grabbing something else. Would not recommend if you are on a time crunch. Arrived around 12:20. Spent about $10 per person, but didn t get full meals. Took over 40 minutes to get 2 burgers, 2 sandwich baskets and 4 drinks. Thought we ordered all 4 meals as baskets- but apparently burgers don t come in a basket and charge extra for fries. We asked as I payed and was ignored as I was handed change for cash- at that point I said I m not waiting an hour for two orders of fries. We ate and left. Won t go back since I wasn t impressed. Kid said the Chicken fried steak sandwich was extremely dry. Burgers tasted like sonic to me. Didn t like the fries which were barely cooked.

Old fashioned drive in appeal! Huge, delicious servings and really reasonably priced! This was my 1st and last visit. My husband and I decided to give this place a try for lunch. We waited over a half hour, eating into most his lunch break, for our order only for my chicken tenders and fries to come our burned. I was disappointed. I bet the chicken and fries wouldve been good if they werent burned. I didnt complain because we had to leave, so my husband could get back to work. He wasnt really impressed with his burger either after hearing about how great the burgers are here. I understand it takes a while to cook to order, so Id order in advance if on a time crunch.

Im going to give a 2 star review, however the food is a negative star review. First point, yes I read the reviews and the replies from the owner. I anticipated a long wait, so I have no complaint on the time frame. Second point, no the employees are certainly not friendly, much less overly so, however that also is not a complaint. Id prefer they didnt stand and chat at each vehicle upon delivery of food, because that only delays every other order further. So, that also is not an issue for me. Finally, however, is the quality of food. As a classically trained private chef, I am probably more critical of food than the average consumer. There is no excuse for the food we received. We ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich basket. It says mayo, that was definitely NOT mayonnaise on the sandwich. It was Miracle Whip or a version of. The steak was about 1/8-1/4 thick and fried to a burnt crisp (see photos). The fries were horrible, no salt at all when they come from the fryer, which is when they should be seasoned. Served on toast. This was a $10.00 meal with tip.

Milkshakes taste like iced milk. gravy has the consistency of water limeade taste like water down flat sprite with cherry fries are....like just there kinda... But at least the main food is good. Really mmmaazing burgers! This is a retro diner with a long history of flavor. Despite being in a very old building, the kitchen is ridiculously clean. You can tell that this place is well taken care of by people who take pride in their work. Clean vent hoods, bathrooms, and even the roof vent hood was clean and not leaking decades of grease. Amazing burger, very much like Sonic but a million times better. I asked for extra pickles and they gave me two layers with tomato Im the middle, it was perfect.

I came in from driving from out of town and myself and our family were hungry.We decided to try this place out.We were second in line and they had 2 employees.First the guy taking my order was rude and cut me off as I was ordering on the inter com.After waiting25 minutes for 2 adult meals and 1kids meal the order was wrong.Instead of a apology I got attitude so I sent the incorrect food back and will never return.

Called in an order for me and my son. They told me 15 minutes, got there in 12 minutes. Told them on the speaker that I am there, they said ok. Thirty minutes later, my order was never made. Very disappointing. Guess they will never get my business, and this was the my first time there. Too bad.

Only live few streets down so stop in from time to time. Food is great service is ok. Wait time is terrible. If more than 3 cars there I will not stop. If you only have 30 min lunch your screwed. I think they only cook one order at time. Ive been eating Scotts for more than 40 yrs probably But seeing how the owner responds to the negative comments I think Im done eating there.

Always a good burger no complaints with quality of food. Called in an order at 7:25pm said it would be ready in 15 minutes, showed up at 7: 40pm pushed call button, no answer. Waited 5 minutes pushed button man looked at me thru window. Waited another 10 minutes no answer went in side and asked for call in order they said they had thrown it in the trash. I was there before closing and got totally ignored! The food from here is always top notch but service has fallen off!! Very disappointing. Guess you better order by 6pm and be there at 6:05 pm or it will get put in trash.

I went to scott s twice. the first time was in february. I was talking on the intercom only to be interrupted. That s fine. i order a chicken sandwhich and it wasn t the best (cold chicken) i was going to tell them if they could remake it but they were already upset that i asked for a straw to drink my milkshake with. Even tho the first experience was bad i thought i could try them again just to have the SAME experience. We pull up to the intercom to order and halfway through we re interrupted RUDELY, again. We keep ordering just to be met with i CANT HEAR YOU . It honestly ruined the experience and i just told them never mind. both times i went they were rude. not going again
