Ive never been to Cheddars before so when I was asked out to dinner we decided to go here. There wasnt any wait time so we were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly and made our dining experience great. I wanted to take pictures but I didnt think it was appropriate to do so especially being on a date LoL. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and cream gravy and the red beans and rice. For me there was enough food for me to have the next day. There was a lot of flavor and the chicken was so juicy. The mashed potatoes and gravy was delicious but the red beans were a little salty for my taste. My friend had the grilled fish, red beans and rice and what was supposed to be corn on the cob but it (sorry) looked like canned corn. He said that the fish was very delicious and the corn was ok but he also thought the red beans were a little salty as well. The rolls with the honey butter drizzled all over it was Amazing... I probably could have eaten about 6 of them for my dinner. This is definitely on my list of places to come back to.

Booth table too small for 4 adults. Table top for 4 was just as small. Two of the 4 adults ordered appetizers which left NO room for anything else. Waitress didnt remove any of the plates that werent being used and when bill was paid, she asked if anything else was needed. I wanted to comment on the 50% melted ice cream on the cake but my children asked me not to. There were TEN, 10 glasses on the table from tea and water glasses when we left.

Went yesterday with a group of 4 and was a terrible experience from our waitress to the food. We waited 30 minutes to even be acknowledged and 20 minutes between each interaction with our waitress. Seats were dirty, and it made the food way less appetizing. I use to love Cheddars, but will absolutely not be back to this location. It was terrible!

This is the worst Cheddar s I ve ever been to. We ordered our drinks as soon as we sat down, but didn t receive them until 30 minutes later when we d already finished both of our appetizers. Our waitress basically forgot about us even though she only had three tables and the restaurant was dead. The cheese fries were covered in ballpark slop cheese and were so soggy they fell apart. Soda had no flavor and had a piece of hair in it. Asked for another one and it had no syrup in it, all carbonation. Gave up at that point and shared a drink with my friend. Food was mid. We ordered dessert. 20 minutes later we had to ask if it was ready. Waitress never put the order in. Waited another 15 minutes just for the dessert to be completely melted. Ruined my friend s birthday.

We arrived right when they opened at 11am. We were seated near the fish tank and as we looked around, we noticed the place didnt look very clean. The booth walls looked like they hadnt been wiped down and properly cleaned in months, the glass around the booth had hand prints all over them and the floors had crumbs all over as if the place hadnt been cleaned since close of the previous night. Kinda icky but we stayed to give it a chance. Food was pretty good but if the dining area looked dirty, cant imagine how the kitchen looks. We will be avoiding this location for a while

On August 12, 2024 I called to address an issue where I was erroneously charged a $30 tip on my debit card, despite having already tipped in cash. During the call, Mr. Diaz was exceedingly unprofessional and proceeded to raise his voice at me. His behavior was not only disrespectful but completely unacceptable, especially coming from someone in a management position. When I informed him that I would be contacting corporate regarding his conduct, he abruptly hung up on me. Following this, I attempted to call back three times, but my calls were not answered. This experience has been extremely disappointing, and it raises serious concerns about the management and overall practices at this location. If this is the manner in which management interacts with customers, it is understandable why employees might feel emboldened to engage in questionable actions, such as charging unauthorized tips. I strongly urge you to take immediate action regarding Mr. Diaz s conduct. My family and I met there for lunch. We were seated next to the kitchen. The staff were yelling and arguing very loudly. The chicken tenders were cold. The french fries were okay. Cheddar s food has always been great any where you go! Although when it was time to pay they took our card since the self pay device wasn t working and was gone for maybe over 10-15 minutes. Came back and said the system wasn t working and the manager was trying to swipe it. Another 5-10 minutes go by and we see our waiter looking all around the floor and around tables. He told us he misplaced the card. We requested to speak to the manager, he never came. We waited another 5-10 minutes until he finally found it and charged the card. Was pretty disappointed with this situation. Hopefully this doesn t happen to anyone else.

Went an hour before close on a Sunday with two friends. Food was quick and delicious with no errors, and the service was great! We all ordered a different drink from the bar and each one was tasty and strong. Highly recommend the painkiller and Maui margarita for adult beverages. 3 entrees, 3 adult beverages, and an appetizer for under $90 is great in my opinion. Vegetarian options: There s an entree that s 4 sides and a soup or salad which is my go-to. There are other dishes that can be adjusted to be vegetarian friendly like their pastas, large dinner salads, or some of the large appetizers that can be eaten as an entree. We ordered online or curb pickup 2- 14oz steaks Well Done plus sides. We pickup the order come home and we cut into our steak and it was rare. We wasmissing the butter cheese and bacon for our bake potatoes. We called the Cheddars to speak to the managerand we told him about the issues. We dont live close by just to keep driving back n forth. We went back up there to get our steaks cooked well done. The manager didnt offer nothing for the inconvenience only to redo the order. I told my husband to mention that to manager on the phone he offered free appetizer I didnt agree with that. I asked for discount off the receipt the manager agreed and said it would be 3-5 days to credit to our bank account. Well we have not received anything. We are not very happy customers with how everything was done.

Came in for Mothers day dinner, hubby ordered New Orleans Pasta. His came with 4 pieces of shrimp and 3 sliced sausage for 14.99 with a smidge of sauce. My daughter ordered Chicken Alfredo for 13.99, just ok. I ordered Chicken fried steak with a side of mashed potatoes and southern green beans, sent back mine because oil used was old and the green beans were too sweet . I rarely return my food ! I replaced my order with the Montecristo but they burned it too. Spinach Dip came out cold. The only food that was spot on were the Honey buttered croissants! Even with the dented bill, we will not be coming back.

Had the pasta jambalaya it had hardly any meat. Very disappointed. Wife had to send her meal back, the oil was old and tasted gross. Overall experience was horrible. Probably wont be back.

I love Cheddars as a restaurant in general. This location is just inconsistent. On my last visit, I ordered one of my favorites, the New Orleans pasta, and was very disappointed. The cream was very watery and sitting on the bottom of the container, so the noodles and the chicken had virtually no sauce and no flavor.

A roach crawled across the table while we were waiting to get the check & a to go container. I sat a water glass on top & discreetly notified our waitress. She sent the manager over & the manager acted like she wasnt even sure it was a roach & picked it up w/ a napkin. I was floored w/ her way of handling the situation & felt like I was having an out of body experience, but I think she said she was sorry & shed adjust our ticket, then walked off. Out of shock, my granddaughters still took their leftovers home where they were immediately tossed out. Our appetizer was comped.... I wont be back.

Small details make people and businesses great. On my recent visit to Cheddars in Mesquite I was able to enjoy a family atmosphere, exquisite food, promptness and diligence from the waiter Sergio, attentive, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Used to be great food. Definitely NOT made by scratch. Tastes like its nuked in a micro. Bland. Not worth the price tag. Hostesses were pretty rude, which set the stage for the nasty food The only thing that tasted good was the croissants & even that was just above average with the fake butter

The food was delicious and so was the service. We came on Sun April 21,2024as a church group. It was eight of us were from Mt. Enterprise TX. We came to Dallas for church service. And we all enjoyed our food. And if Im back in area I will eat there again.

The atmosphere is great. I like the lighting at the bar. The bar tender seemed a little distracted. I had what was quite a long wait to even be greeted and handed menu that another person, not a bar back, but perhaps a busser, apologized and gave me a menu. It was sticky. But at least I had one. Once I finally got my bar tenders attention, I didnt get so much as Im sorry to keep you waiting... Nothing. Thats fine. Didnt bring the honey glazed croissants theyre famous for, until the same time she brought appetizers. I guess thats okay... But Ill be honest those should have gone when she greeted me... Oh well. When she take my order she doesnt write it down. Got it wrong. I didnt bother telling her. Didnt want to risk getting it spit on it something. Lesson learned. Get a table. Its worth the better service.
