The service is terrible. The waitstaff kept touching my food and still charging. I will never come here again. I have been overcharged by $23 worth of food that has been touched and not eaten. I demand my money back. Complete bulls****. RECAP, the corporate office got a hold of me and only gave me a free ice tea, the $23 of touched uneaten food hadn t been reimbursed. This was roughly a month and a half of emails. A bunch of thieves. Still hadn t seen this money.

The experience was cool. The quality of the sushi was not worth the over all bill. It s cut super thin and since it s only one conveyor belt direction, make sure you sit at the beginning so you get first dips. If you don t, you d end up seeing a lot of empty plates.

This is my kid s favorite spot to go. They love grabbing the sushi they want and ordering on the conveyor belt. Tonight, we came in and the manager, Sean, went above and beyond for my family. My kids lit up when Sean brought one of the prize eggs to their table along with an item that recently went off the menu (due to popularity of other items). It s hard to find great service these days, but Sean is the employee every business wishes they had. I will continue driving 20 minutes to this spot specifically because of how great Sean was tonight. Thank you!

Best Kura location by far! Been to the Carrollton one and this one is the best by a long shot. The fish and food here is super fresh and delicious. Great staff and quick wait times! The service is great. Kitchen does a great job, even when the entire place is packed. Update: Came here 8/19 for dinner and had the best service ever. Johnathan was our server and he was super attentive! Another person came by too in a sushi chef uniform with glasses and he is always eager to make sure everything is tasting awesome, so shout out to that guy as well! It always makes for a great dining experience when you can tell the staff love their jobs.

With a restaurant called revolving sushi I expect there to be sushi revolving, however after several rounds it was completely empty and there wasn t anything to grab, the screen to order was glitched and didn t allow us to order the items we wanted and our server was non existent to help, After 20 minutes and only getting 4 plates along with being frustrated, I didn t want to wait anymore. If you like a conveyor belt type of service you will probably like this place. Its a unique type of service. The food was very average. I spent $53 for 2 people to eat. I dont feel like I got much value for my money. Ive had so much better sushi at other restaurants for that price. There are several of these locations in the dfw area, so evidently, some people like it more than I did. Personally, I wont go back again.

Whats not to love about great tasting sushi that is delivered to your table on a conveyor belt track that runs throughout the whole restaurant! When youre done with your small plate, you slide it down the slot at the edge of the table. Its part airport luggage claim and miniature train world. After 15 plates returned, you get a free prize. A digital display shows you your dining progress. Our whole family really enjoyed our experience. The restroom toilets are electronically enhanced with a remote control that operates the bedet. There is no auto shutoff. You need to turn off the bedet on the remote. Instructions arent very clear. You need to guess based on the symbols on the remote.

Its okay when you want sushi in a hurry without the wait. Its a hit and miss on freshness of the seafood. Some were if good quality and some were subpar. Being from Hawaii I could have some bias because sushi in Hawaii is the freshest no matter what restaurant you choose most times. Understandable being DFW is miles from any coastline. Id have gave an extra star if my favorites like tuna and octopus were just a little less dry. The Nigiri was a little small for portions to price. Id have to say Im sure there are better places in DFW.

Went on a Thursday at 4:30 and there were 5 tables being served. It was our first time, so they took the time to explain everything to us. Loved having the robot bring us our water. Many of the choices on the conveyer belt were empty, but we simply ordered from the kiosk, and our spicy tuna roll arrived 4 minutes later on the upper belt. I enjoyed the atmosphere and especially the cleanliness. We will definitely return.

Food was delicious liked the theme. That being said I left my phone on accident came back twice they told me they didnt have it. After walking the entire area back and forth to 5below with multiple Bluetooth devices. We finally got our smart things app to locate and set off the ringer no luck. So I decided to use the app to lock down everything with a warning that the device had been lost or stolen then it magically appears in front of there store by the sign smh! Keep an eye on your belongings if you plan on going there. I spent $195 on our meal and left a $50 tip generous given the meals and drinks were all brought to us by machines.

This place is the worst do not trust any of these employees. We ate at this place last night on july 6th and my husband lost his phone. And when we tracked his phone it said it was in the back of the restaurant in side. When we told the employees about it they said they dont have it. Which was a freaked lie!!! They tried to hack my husband phone to get into it so on my phone i locked his phone. And when we came back they put his phone outside!!! I hope this place shuts down they need to own up to what they did!!! They are disrespectful and will try to steal what people accidentally leave there. This is where they left my husband phone at and that was on the way opposite side of where we parked and we looked there so many times and it just showed up randomly!!!

Updated review : the past few times we have went to Kura the service has been really poor. My husband and I went today and one of the first plates I got was a smoked salmon plate and it had an eye lash or something in it. We waited for our waiter and they didn t come. We requested basic items like straws, plates and stuff and they wouldn t come back or we would have to wait forever!! The restaurant was VERY dirty. When I went to the restroom (you have to walk by the kitchen ) I saw several made sushi plates that were ready to be put on the conveyor belt but they were just sitting out under a shelf. YUCK!! - Original review: My husband and I enjoy Kura! I love that we have one only 7 minutes away now as the drive to Carrollton was brutal. Food was fantastic! A little slower coming down the line because they were busy. That s expected. Lobby was really really small but they do have a bar you can sit at while you wait. Inside the restaurant is so beautiful and the servers were really nice. Wait time is not long even when they are packed

Receiving the wrong plates after placing an order, waiting over 20 minutes to not receive an order, never receiving my drinks, requesting a waiter and never getting help, finding beard hair in an entire plate of California rolls. It s just horrible. Not worth it anymore

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is located in Euless, TX, offering great sushi in a fun filled family environment involving a conveyor sushi bar! We came by on a Sunday during lunch time, expecting it to be a full house, but surprisingly, there were plenty of empty booths and a zero wait time. As we sat down, we quickly browsed the menu on the tablet screen to see what was all offered. We placed our drink orders of just water, and within minutes, a robot came to our table delivering water. As we sat down, we saw many dishes of plates pass us with succulent pieces of fish and rice. We waisted no time and started taking the dishes we liked from the revolving sushi bar. We took many plates, including tuna, salmon, and eel. My personal favorite was the seared salmon with mayonnaise and cream cheese. I also enjoyed the premium plates of Toro, which is the flesh from the belly of tuna. We also ordered a miso ramen, which came out and was topped off with a soft boiled egg and thin slices or pork chasu. The noodles were al dente and had a nice snap back while the broth was nutty and flavorful. We always enjoy our time at Kura when it comes to food and service. They do an excellent job inside the kitchen as well as on the service floor. I just wish I could eat 28 plates or more to get a second prize from the machine, considering it took us 14 plates to get a single prize. Im looking forward to coming back and trying different items and other styles of ramen such as the tonkotsu ramen or soy sauce ramen.

I loved the fact that the bathrooms were clean and modern, but the service and food was pretty mild. Compared to other Kuras Ive been to, the food tasted more artificial and when we ordered a sushi using the conveyor belt thing, it did not arrive until almost 30 mins later. The staff were very nice however, but one inconvenience was that if you needed to refill your water, you had to order another one instead of a refill. I like the place, but if you wanted Kura, I would recommend the Carrollton location.

After reading most of these comments I am confused if it was just a bad night because I was not impressed. We went, got sushi, we were there probably 30+ minutes, the same raw sushi was on the belt the whole time. For $3.25 a plate for 3 pieces of a roll, I expected the sushi to taste not fishy and be better. It also stressed me out that it was not cold just rotating around like that. So we left with only eaten 8 plates. I personally love the idea and the robot with the drinks was a nice touch but I will go to another sushi place to pay the same price total for a roll that the raw salmon isn t white. But that s just me! Great concept though!

Fantastic sushi Would have given higher score for service, but they we re struggling to get sushi on the belt. The majority of the plates were empty. The actual wait staff were fantastic and fast. If you haven t been before, you have to push a button to call for a waiter. Also, very fun to have a musical robot deliver drinks. If you are not a fan of sushi, they do offer a few other items that you can order and they will come on a different conveyor belt. I recommend the miso soup. Dietary restrictions: Lady next to me was allergic to avocados. They had difficulty knowing what she could eat. Custom rolls are available, but you have to purchase the entire roll, not three or four pieces.

I like the Yellow tail, Negitoro, the Toro belly, the Seared Salmon, the Seared Scallop. I m not a fan of spanish mackerel. It s too slimy. I think they should have the other not spanish mackerel? Not sure what it is called. I really liked the wasabi. It s a fresh ground type. Impressive design, quick, fun, and enjoyable. I really think you come here for the nigiri, as the rolls I did not like that much. I thought the rolls lacked much of the protein that I d expect from a sushi roll to give it more bite. The rolls are rolled too tight and the rice is too sticky for my liking. I just won t come here for rolls. The rolls aren t bad, but not my liking. I did try the Udon and really thought it was great with very good bonito flavor. Service was good.

I ordered this online because I heard about it from a coworker but couldn t actually go in person. I was super excited but was deeply disappointed. My expectations weren t that hard to meet considering the fact that I eat cheap sushi all the time. Somehow, the quality of this sushi and just the food in general was awful compared to that. I had salmon that didn t look okay to eat and the California rolls had a funky flavor. I understand seafood is going to have an acidic flavor but mannnn something was def off. I do not recommend eating here.

And the stuff that was available no one wanted. The soup arrived at table cold. Very disappointed. . Not sure I would consider returning.

We came here a few times to give them a chance knowing they just opened, hoping they would improve. It just feels unclean every time. The wait time is really short and the people working are friendly, checking on you more often than the Carrollton location does.

It is a very fun atmosphere and place to get sushi. Very kind and helpful staff. Great prices!!! The menu has a lot of selections to choose from. You can wait for the belt to come around for your selections or place specific orders at the table on a tablet that come directly to you from the kitchen. Visited later on a Thursday afternoon. It was not very busy. The selections available on the belt were very scarce. When I tried to order to the table, the options I wanted to order were not available to order on the system menu. That was disappointing. I was able to have cucumber salad, Umami Oil Salmon (x2) and Spicy Garlic Popcorn Shrimp Roll. Everything was fresh & delicious!!! I would try it out again. Maybe at dinnertime, maybe there would be more of a selection.

Absolutely awful experience having dinner here last night. We got seated and waited 10+ minutes for a server to come by to get our drink orders. I mentioned to her that I had an allergy to avocados and asked if it was possible to special order rolls. Without hesitation or going to ask anyone she said no I don t think they can do that . We even told her we were perfectly ok with purchasing a full roll and not just by the plate. I ve never once had a restaurant say they can t accommodate allergies. That waitress avoided us for the rest of our meal. Dietary restrictions: From my experience, the servers are very unwilling to accommodate any restrictions

Then they keep texting you telling you to check in with the hostess just to be told they will text you when theyre ready for you and you have to wait outside in the weather and bugs. The conveyor belt isnt that sanitary. The real crab California roll had a piece of shell in it nearly broke my tooth.

We enjoy going to Kura for the experience and the variety of options available both on the revolving bar and through the menu. This one also has a robot waiter that brings your drink orders to your table. It can add up fast as theres an animation that encourages you to continue to insert plates (15 completes the story and gives you a prize ball). I wouldnt recommend it for parties of more than 4 though. The booths seat up to four people comfortably.

The hostess is terrible. We got there and put our names on the list at the kiosk that said it would be 20-30 minutes. We got a text that said to check in. So we checked in with the hostess. She said we were 2nd in line. Which was fine. This was 30 mins after we originally put our names on the list. She came back 15 minutes later and said we were 5th. How did we go from 2nd to 5th? She said other people checked in online and they are busy and just walked away. It was the rudest interaction Ive ever had at a restaurant. We left and will not be returning.

While its not as personal as a traditional restaurant because they primarily use technology, its still a neat experience all together. Most of the sushi I tried was pretty good. Some were just not my kind of taste but good. The ginger was potent, according to my fiance, so was the Wasabi. Each plate you grab was only 3 25 unless its marked otherwise. Even with saki and a beer it was not crazy expensive. They use a robot to deliver the non alcoholic drinks. It is an excellent place for dates and foodies who live trying different things. I definitely plan on going there again. Im truly glad we tried that place. I personally suggest going here for sure.

Update- went on Monday at 7:00pm and still not better. We were at table 10 and the conveyor belt still 95% empty. We ordered food from menu and each item took 8-14 min to receive. One item we never received and when we told server just to take it off tab, it magically appeared. The sign in and check in process is still unclear and a mess! Previous - I want to start by saying I have been to a few Kura restaurants and they are amazing. I have frequently visited the one in Carrollton Texas and LA I have never experienced what I did this evening. I am hoping it s new and it s working out its kinks. First I couldn t join the waitlist from my app, the location kept saying error page. I got to restaurant signed in and it said 25-30 min wait, but then the host checked on me and told me 50min to 65 min I said no problem. Most Kura you wait. It s worth it. But after 7-8 min the host came and sat me. Weird but ok cool!!! When I sat down I ordered my drink from the screen. Started waiting to see plates I wanted and all were EMPTY. In all the times I have been to KURA I have never seen this but I just sat down so no problem. I ordered a roll from the menu and waited. I finally pinged for help for my drink when 15 minutes had passed. It took another 5-7 minutes to get my drink. Then I pinged again for a soy sauce plate. Still during this time no sushi was on the conveyor belt. I asked the lady next to me if it had been like this long and she said oh yeah at 28 minutes I got the food I had ordered from the menu. I finally asked a server walking by if I could put my name back on the list for a table . I think the counter or aka single section was at the end of the line so I was hoping a table would get me better luck. She said she would ask. A few min later a gentleman came over and asked how can I help you, I told him there has been no food on belt and I was hoping just to put my name on the list again. He said no, he couldn t do that cause the wait was too long. I said well I don t mind waiting cause at this point I am waiting and getting nothing. He said I could order from the menu, and said I know it defeats the purpose of coming in for the experience apologized and walked away. It honestly didn t seem like he cared about me. Which he may not who I am but it s important to listen and try customer service 101 anyway- During this time I ordered a few more plates from the menu they took some time, and weren t very good the lady next to me gave up and she was trying to pay but couldn t. She flagged a server down and they did nothing to help her well Except explain the pay process that this lady had already been doing for 15 minutes she tried again and no luck The lady went to the servers both next to us and they gladly took her payment when she stated she would just leave since it didn t seem they wanted her money. I then got my check and decided it was just time to go the machine promptly took my payment with no problem. I didn t have a good experience. Which is so sad!!! I love Kura and this one is closer to me! The single section seemed unimportant to this establishment. Which when you make a person feel invisible, it doesn t make them want to come back. Again I have been to very BUSY Kura restaurants with 2-4 hour waits, extremely busy and have never seen an empty conveyor belt. Maybe a selection is empty but it s full when it comes back around I didn t get to really eat what I normally eat but what I did eat was not what I have had before. Tasteless, and falling apart. Yikes!!! It was a very sad and disappointing experience. I hope they figure it out quickly so people don t miss what an amazing experience at Kura is normally like!

My fiancée and I had dinner yesterday, March 12th. It was our second time there so we were eager to enjoy a nice dinner. The overall food was good, similar to our first time at the Euless location. However, there was definitely a lack of variety on the conveyer belt throughout our visit. I understand that you can order a la carte items, but it takes away from the purpose of enjoying the novelty behind selecting items off the conveyer. 25% of the items were order a la carte, with (2) orders of the Rainbow Roll taking 28 minutes to arrive. Pictures can be provided if necessary. It was obvious that we werent the only ones looking for items on the belt considering the many heads looking and seeing if anything was coming their way. Unsure of what can be done to rectify, but itd be ideal if a larger selection food could be provided and servers could attend when prompted on the screen.

I know it s a new location and it s trying to get off the ground but I ve been 4 times since opening now and it s just not the same. The seared sushi plates are cold, the menu is not as extensive, and the past two times I ve gone all I could smell was the scent of cleaning dishes. It made eating really difficult because of the strong cleaning smell. The service from servers is fantastic and everyone is always so nice when I go! Went opening weekend and loved it. The other two times havent measured up nearly as well though, unfortunately. Keep getting seated at the very end of the line so the revolving sushi gimmick ends up being pointless since Ive had to order everything. Also had an issue where my Gyoza got delivered ice cold and barely cooked. Was promised new ones...then got forgotten about and had to flag someone down to make good on it. If you can seat closer to the front/middle of the conveyor belt youll probably enjoy it more. As for me I think Im good for now.

Ive visited this location twice since they opened. On the first visit, it was 2 of us, and we sat in a booth. Unfortunately, the conveyer belt wasnt working. So that definitely detracted from the experience. But we were able to order from the tablet, which was very fast. The food was excellent, though the ramen was quite overpriced for the small serving. On the second visit, I was alone and sat in the semi-private counter section. I love that seating option for solo dining. I ordered a drink as soon as I sat down but it never arrived. I had to call a server for that. The conveyer was working but was just 90% empty plates rolling by. So I again had to rely on the tablet to order. Its not a big deal, I guess, but disappointing considering the main draw of the restaurant is the conveyer belt system. Again, the food was great. Overall, I love this place and will be back, but there is room for improvement concerning the conveyer belt operation and availability for all seating locations. Wheelchair accessibility: The only wheelchair friendly seating option is at the counter, which is a little cramped. I would not bring my wheelchair dependent adult son here as I dont feel that there is enough space for his comfort.

Fun, entertaining sushi bar. The sushi plates are $3.25/plate. Its fun to watch the conveyor to see the offerings. It was busy when we went, so the conveyor had a lot of empty spaces.. Thats the reason for 1 star deduction. The food was fresh and delicious. There is a touchscreen order system to get items more quickly than on the conveyor. With every 15 plates, a little pon ball drops for you. My daughter and I had 22 plates, plus 3 items extra : 2 dessert and a miso soup, which comes at a bit higher price .. We spent $98 before tip. I recommend downloading the app, and join the rewards program.. With one trip, I earned a $5 reward for next visit.

My goodness, talk about Kura. We first went on their opening weekend, then yesterday (Saturday). The first time was when they opened at 11:30, the second in the early evening. When they first opened, I noticed there were dirty spots in the area we sat in, which was concerning considering they had just opened. This past visit, I know they were dealing with the evening rush, but the cleanliness was still an issue. Regardless of how busy you are, you need to focus on cleaning the spaces in which people will be dining. No, excuses. The wait... This was VERY unorganized and while being there, several people were a bit upset and had no issues with voicing it. Those who were waiting, received texts as if their tables were ready, but they were doing that to tell us the wait would be longer. I assumed that ticked a few people off, I know it ticked us off. I understand the wait time could be extended, but until someone questions it, just let us assume thats what is happening. When we were finally ready to be seated, the host told us we would need to be at the bar, and if not, wed have to wait all over again. Excuse me, how does that make sense? If the option was bar/table when adding our name to the reservation, then I could potentially make sense of that. After speaking to the manager or the person who was over the hosts, we were seated when the next table became available. To note, if you have visited the establishment before, youll see there is no bar. The bar area is a seating area for those who are waiting to be seated. Again, it made no sense. To address some of the comments about it being overpriced, I agree to a degree. You are paying $3.25 for a mini-roll and sashimi. Youd be paying more for what youre getting here, somewhere else. I do agree with the overpriced items, that are not on the three-dollar menu. For Tempura, two pieces, youre paying almost ten dollars. That also applies to a scoop-sized plate of fried rice, you can get more elsewhere for the same cost. You know what youre getting when you visit, if not, it may be best to look at their menu ahead of time. The quality of food, so far, I havent had any issues with it. Ill admit, I do a little smell test, just to make sure. The customer service last night was fantastic, they brought in a young man from Florida to help with training. His presence and customer service, made the evening a bit more bearable when it came to calming the angry. Im hoping to see some sort of improvement when I visit next; I like this little spot. Also, I will do a better job when picking a time to visit, it will NOT be in the evenings if possible (weekends).
