Love this location!! Carlos, Misty, & Sherryl helped me out so much!! Carlos made sure my resume was together and said everything that I ve done the right way, Misty helped me with my child care and Schooling, Sherryl helped me with my Worksite when I say I probably was the most annoying person they ve but they ALWAYS REMAINED PATIENT, they listened to me and I what I wanted and they did everything to make sure I worked somewhere that I wanted they re like family!!!

I scheduled an appointment for my special needs son back in May. On the day of the appointment I received a call from someones loud mouth assistant who was screaming in my ear stating, the appointment needed to be canceled and someone will call me to reschedule. No one ever called to reschedule. After calling around for weeks and sending e-mails. I received a response and was able to scheduled his appointment for August. Yes it took that long but persistence pays off. The day before the appointment my son had a medical issue so I sent an e-mail to Brandi, the lady I had been communicating with via phone and e-mail informing her of what occurred and that I needed to reschedule. Brandi never responded. So I had to start calling around and sending more e-mails and Brandi finally responded. I received a response via Brandi e-mail informing me of the next available appointment date. I responded I was available and then received another e-mail asking what time 10 or 11. I responded 10a. The day of the appointment I show up with documents in hand and Im told Brandi I had been communicating with did not have me on her schedule. So multiple people came to talk to me, I showed them the e-mails Brandi sent and they all looked confused (like really confused, it made me even more concerned). Then they told me the e-mail response was AI generated and that Brandi really didnt respond (WTH). Brandi who I had been communicating with, finally walked out of her office to speak with me, and I could barely understand what she was saying because she was whispering. She looked unsure of herself and her role. I became frustrated because of the whispering and her looking just as confused as the others. After the back and forth, and tired of looking at confused individuals who were supposed to be assisting my son with services. I no longer felt Brandi and the other staff were competent enough to help my son. So I decided not to move forward and walked out of the appointment in disbelief and disappointed. Im truly disgusted with the mediocrity of people who claim they are there to help and drop the ball everytime! Yall have to do better, because its sad and nasty work! Take my word if you have an adult special needs child that need services through Workforce Solutions in Pearland, try to find another location. Because that location is

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Tresell, Jennifer and David. They were absolutely helpful and flexible in working with me to find employment, and also receive assistance regarding scholarships for school. I recently set up an appointment for today to meet with an advisor at 4 PM. When I went in for the appointment it was cancelled. I had not cancelled my appointment for my virtual session so I called their Pearland phone number and the operator was difficult to deal with. First she took forever to pull up my information and kept randomly placing me on hold. Then she states an email was sent on 6/11 stating the appointment was cancelled due to time constraints of the advisor. This was not true as I received no form of communication on this from workforce solutions and this was randomly cancelled. The operator then offered to book a new appointment then states she can t all of a sudden. I ll be looking at another location for help as this location was not helpful and I was honestly surprised as I ve worked with the Alief location in the past and not had this issue with Workforce Solutions.

My previous experience with this program were people who actually wanted to assist. Upon walking in hopeful, we were met with joke of security. A total embarrassment to the security officers who take pride in uniform. Her hair was in a ponytail, hanging down past her collar. Duty belt, not buckled, gun hanging off her side, hands in her pocket. She says you cant bring that drink in here! I advised her that it was water(closed and secured) and I am disabled. She looks at me as if a disabled person is supposed to look deformed, looks me up and down and says oh youre disabled? I just ignored her at this point. She glared at me the entire time we were there. A woman wearing a hijab attempted to assist us, she asked two of her coworkers to assist us to which the lazy chick at the desk made it clear she was not available, while helping others. And to the loud and obnoxious male she asked, he stated he was not available, he was at lunch. He then proceeded to talk to others while in our face. The male and the female literally bickering about who is going to help us, it was so offensive and discouraging. He finally walks over and made it known to us that he is only there to give us advice because the lady at the desk demanded that he help us instead of her. But she made it her business to come from the desk to tell me to sit my water on the floor. So you cant do your job, but you and security are having a total meltdown behind water ok. So my husband tried to salvage the 20 minute ride and let the loud, unprofessional, obnoxious male give him information. Now the whole time people were in and out, the lazy chick at the desk made sure to tell them have a nice day as we were walking out, nothing. Its to the point where people really need help finding jobs, training, and assistance and apparently if they dont like you, they dont help you. It was an awful experience. I wish I knew a complaint number to call on them as well as that joke of a security guard, I definitely would complain. The disdain she had for me was nuts because I dont know this woman, and she kept staring at me like she wanted to do me something. Workforce use to be a great place for resources, assistance. But by the word of the loud, unprofessional, obnoxious male. People took advantage of the workforce so they arent helping, they dont care. I wish there were better human beings.

I am in a class where everyone uses this program. I am the only one using this location and they are sub par. Go to the Clear Lake location to get quick service. These people have delayed every step of the process for gathering services. The people who answer the phone are rude and I ve gotten multiple contradictory statements from these people. Don t waste your time here

I highly recommend this location. Ms.Rudd went over the top in customer service helping me completely understand what needed to be done to fulfil my needs. This location provides hiring events, programs to help receive tech devices, job placement, and recourses to go back to school. The office is very clean and welcoming. After being turned away from another location, this is my MOST recommended location for anyone seeking to improve their life path in whichever way desired.

Workforce Solutions is the BOMB yall, I aint kiddin. They are some really good people there. They definitely take care of us veterans. They make sure that veterans like myself and my Fiance are very much given the red carpet treatment. So listen, if any of yall are veterans and you need ANY kind of assistance, they will make sure to help connect you to the right people and resourceS, and, they will guide you every step of the way. If you need some help, especially if youre homeless and/ or a veteran, youre golden, they got your back, just go on up there, dont hesitate, dont put off til tomorrow what can be done today. According to the contact information, the office opened at 8 a.m. I was on the premises at 8:05, lights are on. I was so happy thinking I was going to get help! I was surprised the security guard open the door ,just enough to politely let me know that I would have to call the center. I thought if I just called I was going to get an appointment right then, since there was only three cars in the lot. No! you call repeatedly and you get the robo contact which was very frustrating. To my delight the Westheimer office was not only able to see me that day but they were absolutely helpful in assisting me in face to face and resolved my problem and stress, I commend them!!

The place is not open to the public, and the staff member who came out to speak to people who were there was not helpful, but he was polite. People are still required to do job searches each week for unemployment benefits, yet they will not you use this facility!

Very clean. The employees are very personable and knowledgable. Get there early if you want to sit at a computer. But the stand up work stations are fine I only wish the monitors were higher up at the standing stations so you wouldnt have to look down but the screen is adjustable. Internet is fast and the printer. They have a copy machine with email capabilities and two fax machines. There are even pens and pencils available and best of all its all free. The atmosphere could be described as hopeful. Even though most people there are unemployed it feels like you are on the right path by being there. Thank you to all that work there and make us feel welcome!

I have been participating in the youth internship program for about 4weeks and it amazing. The amount of skills and access to networking here is outstanding. I have learned useful skills such as data entry, accounting, phone outreach, filing, and expanding my skills in costumer services. The people I work with are the most helpful of them all and it s been a great experience so far.

Beautiful new office full of new staff [and thats not a good thing]. There doesnt seem to be any tenured staff. Ive seen confidential documents lying on a staffs desk, calls/emails go unreturned, most staff seem lost in completing tasks, and supervisor, Angela Williams, seems to care less when problems are reported.

The Texas Workforce Commission has had a facelift and restructuring to bring it up to modern times, finally! Now named Workforce Solutions, their offices are a plethora of business solutions, from computer time for job searches to resume writing and printing. The office itself feels more positive and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Check them out if youre between jobs. You dont have to be on unemployment to use their services, just a Texan.
