Best authentic Mexican food in Wichita Falls! Some prices abit high. $15 for lunch plate is abit high for regular people to eat a couple times a week. Tremendous authentic Mexican food. Just the best. I enjoyed the Mole Chicken enchiladas. Amazing flavor in every bite and the beans and rice are so much better than what you might be used to at a run-of-the-mill Tex-Mex place. Gutierrez is excellent and run by great people.

Really great people and great food! They have been just the greatest and have helped me in ways that mean so very much to me! If you walk in alone you will walk out as a member of a family and thats EVERYONE!! They make our city proud! This restaurant is the actual heart of the city and people.also, doesnt matter what you order whether its the mouth watering barbacoa Or birria tacos, juevos rancheros, menudo, pozole, enchilada, burritos or tamales it is just fantastic 5 isnt even high enough on the scale to scale!the greatest restaurant in Wichita falls hands down!

Super chill family owned place would come here again. Have a wide selection of good meals. Got the barbaqua burrito which was very good but too spicy for me. Their tacos looked delicious and atmosphere was what anyone who wants a chill place to sit and eat. Again loved it here but my selection for my needs was not the best. Would recommend the tacos

We re from out of town and we re looking for breakfast tacos when we realized no where in town had breakfast tacos instead they had burritos. This restaurant had some of the best ratings so we decided to give them a try. It is a small place and does get very packed, we got there just in time. The waitress was able to accommodate us by making burritos they did not have on the menu such as potato and egg or potato and chorizo. When we heard $7 for a burrito we thought that was expensive until they brought out the burritos .they are HUGE! And we got the small burritos. The food was delicious! The customer service was amazing our waitress was very patient with us and professional. If we re ever in town again we would like to come back and try other items on the menu.

They make the BEST birria tacos in the state of Texas thus far. Im also a fan of the tacos al pastor here. Service is classical. If youre gen x or a baby boomer youre going to love Gutierrez. Its an old fashioned restaurant with a homie feel and good people making your food and serving you. I love pairing my tacos with a Mexican Coke! The menu is very appealing with lots of classic Mexican fare. Yet I keep drawing myself to eating the birria. Im an addict already. Lol. I highly recommend this place. Especially if youre cross country traveling and want to find a hole in the wall or chinchorro style restaurant to eat at. The food here is great.

The food was awesome! We felt a little uncomfortable with the waitress. She seemed bothered every time we needed something. I m sorry that we didn t want to sit at a dirty table, I simply asked if she could wipe down our table. When ordering we told her we wanted potatoes not rice, yet the plate came with rice. She didn t appreciate the me telling her we didnt want rice. AND! I m sorry we like lots of ice in our tea. Slamming the glass of ice on our table wasn t necessary. We still tipped her because we know what it s like to work for. A living . We know what we like to eat and that s all we wanted. Again the food was good but we were ready to get out of there. We aren t locals we re traveling through.

Tortillas and sauce were really good, the burritos are a good size, and the staff was very nice My burrito was missing the potatos and wasnt rolled properly so it was an absolute mess when I unwrapped it. There was also wayyy too much pico, I had to take a lot off to enjoy the flavor of everything else. Im sure this place has the potential to be good. Food and service were pretty good. Got the orders right and kept on top of checking up on our tables. All of the meals had good flavor, cooked just right for the type of dishes we all picked, and portions were well worth the price. The only reason for a drop from 5 stars to 4 was the tortillas. They were dry, Maybe a quick steam bath would have freshened them up. Overall a great place to try when in town!

This was amazing busy environment. It seems quite popular for the area. The servers were friendly. We ordered the birria pizza. The size was enormous and it was so delicious!! 28$ for the pizza. This is also one of the few places I have found in Wichita Falls that serves horchata! The appetizer we ordered was a loaded hot Cheeto fries. As a delivery driver, there is always an issue. YES every single time!! With every 3rd party vendor!! JUST AVOID!! It doesnt matter if its Door Dash, Uber, or Grub hub!!!. ALWAYS AN ISSUE WITH THE PAY CARDS!! The latest issue ..Yesterday, I was driver #5....why did it even take 5 drivers to drive across town and pick up ONE order with a $20 item total! going .08 miles!?? Fix the problem!! You told me that 4 drivers ahead of me had their cards declined!! Did you think my card had magical powers and would work?? All it took WAS one call from YOU to UBER to fix that issue... BUT No you didnt fix it!! You just kept getting NEW drivers.. just to see which driver would call UBER for you... .I had an upset customer texting me before I even arrived!! She got rude with me CUZ you didnt do your job to make HER happy!! Ever hear of customer service?? That does seem to be lacking there!? Update. After you leave a review .....they will PM you on your PERSONAL SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT to tell you how WRONG you are by leaving A review....And to FIX your rating...No WAY!!! That is what reviews are for!!! So other folks can see how you operate!! You are not going to blame this driver for your mistake!! I am NOT new at this delivery stuff!! I have completed more than 10k deliveries on those 3rd party apps that you said you NEVER agreed to be on!! So, telling me it was my FAULT because my 3rd party card didnt work was not cool!! The food is super flavorful (even the beans by themselves had such good flavor, most places beans are just kind of bland) and you get a huge amount of food for the price, we were able to get full off of half and save the other half of our orders for lunch the next day.. The burritos were the size of my husbands forearm and the tortillas are just like my abuela used to make, all soft and fluffy and fresh. The salsa they make and give you is the perfect amount of mild/medium spice. We even got to watch a couple ladies making food from scratch in giant pots while we waited for our food to be served which came out super quick. The waitresses are quick and very friendly and this has very quickly become mine and my husbands new favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian it was actually very easy to get things altered to fit my needs, I ordered a Chile relleno burrito with beans and potatoes added in and a breakfast torta with no meat for a veg friendly breakfast.

Terrible service we come to visit I found this restaurant on maps. I like reading the comments. It has bad comments, but I said Im going to go because of the good comments when I entered. Good service. We ordered very friendly. I said, Lets go. But here it comes, it took them a while to bring the food, I only ordered two tacos, they were cold, one of our drinks, the glass was dirty, it had like food stuck to it we asked to change it The bathrooms are on one side of where they cook, the area where they chop the meat is dirty, they had pots of food on the floor and the floor was very dirty, you could see all that because when I went to the bathroom, you could see the kitchen, I couldnt take photos unfortunately because we are used to to leave my cell phone and my family in the car Anyway, in the end I looked at the extra charge of 1.50 I asked and they told me it was the sauce I ordered, but I asked for sauce for my tacos and they charged me for it because only the sauce for the chips is included oh God I know its not much but net they charge for that name the lady is very rude the one who is charging we only asked one question and she was very aggressive in short I will tell you my experience so that you are not only guided by the good comments you also see the bad experiences what happens we all deserve an excellent deal

Great little place with huge portions. I had one of their standard size burritos and could only eat half. Even their smaller burritos are a good size. Loved the hot red sauce on top.
