I love bringing my boys here. They always leave so happy. For $3.75 each ticket (under 1 year old - free), the conductor will take you on a nice 15 minute ride around the park. The train leaves at 15 and 45 minutes passed the hour. Tickets are sold at the booth but is now automated and cashless so bring card or your smartphone to use tap to pay. I look forward to seeing this place after renovations are complete. If your not too sure what fun activity to do with your Littles, I recommend coming here.

Cedar Rock doesnt follow their own schedule. They left nearly 5 minutes early, pulling away in front of us. We were early and had followed directions, believing their signs and web info. My phone said 12:10 when we were in the parking lot and 12:11 when we were standing in front of the train. After about 15 minutes we were informed the next train was a birthday train which we couldnt join. The staff had no apology, offered no solutions, and told me it was typical that the train leaves early, which was the first time Id heard it. Very much a screw you for following directions policy, which is a terrible policy to have for families. I had to ask for a refund several times. As a taxpayer in the county that owns the park, I am dissatisfied with the standard of operations and attitude towards families.

This is a great little place! Even in the summer its not terrible because there is a lot of shade, and the little train ride is a lot of fun. A nice play area for little kids and a short walk away from some nice playgrounds or open park. And if you get too hot here, the splash pad is only a few minutes away!
