I loved the food and service at this restaurant. But if I have a complaint, why dont they have an EAGLES OF AMERICA chair? . I told the manager that I was going to complain in the review. I went on September 28. Everyone there was very kind, very friendly and respectful and I loved the place. Would rate 0 stars if I could, me and my husband went here about 7:45 pm on September 28th the server brought us our chips and salsa, while I was about halfway done with my salsa I notice a chunk of raw chicken in the bottom of the bowl, note: I am 27 weeks pregnant, and I am not trying to get salmonella/food poisoning, nor have my baby sick, will be filing a lawsuit. was extremely disappointed by the service and stressed out be the experience, not to mention the place has roaches EVERYWHERE and need to be inspected asap, we have already reported the incident and will not be coming back, this place needs to be shut down for sure

Food is always incredible. The people who work there are kind and great workers. However wait time for Togo Oder was 30+ minutes after I was told it would be ready. I saw families come in sit and eat while I was waiting. Place is too busy for the small location so we no longer like to eat inside. Now, we will no longer be ordering Togo. The business has outgrown its self and tbh that s amazing. Worth the drive to the one across town though. It s a good problem to have to be this busy but unfortunate for customers.

The food is so bland no seasoning I m used to Mexican and texmex food full of flavor the rice is bland in all my years I ve never seen carrots and peas in Mexican rice. The guacamole was clearly from a frozen bag. The chips and hot sauce was the only good thing. Enchiladas had no flavor. Weird fajitas and burned tortillas. Don t walk run away!

Extremely long story short. Go to the location on Central Freeway, they know how to treat people, charge them correctly and cook the food. Oh, and they have AC! You are not an after thought just because youre not their heavy drinking table and if you ask for something like a Birthday song they do it for your child (the youngest chooses this every year for her birthday and they never have refused on Central) Salsa was awful and it was so hot in there, thats all it really takes to make me happy, the rest is just a bonus.

I have eaten Fajitas in Houston, Mexico, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Oklahona this was bar- none the best I have ever had. The flour tortillas are tender, beans and rice spot on. Tea, chips and salsa wow! I also compliment my server he was awesome. I made sure to let the lady who checked me out how much I enjoyed my meal. I just wish I didnt live 6 hour away.

This place sucked. The margaritas were nasty, the service was horrible, and the atmosphere reminds me of a worn down hospital. Akward, grungy and uncomfortable. The entree was good, but for the value, no. There was hardly any protein. Id much rather give my business to Don Joses. Great servers, drinks and food. The short - Food was bland and not worth the price. The long - seating time was very short. Table was still dirty when seated was wiped down promptly. Service was o.k.. servers were not very attentive. Some stood around and talked while others were stretched thin trying to cover a wide array of tables (bad management) went far to long on an empty drink twice. Chips were stale salsa was charred and is very bland, not much in the salsa (not much added in with the tomatos) didnt want to try the overpriced made from a package gauc that I saw being served and the queso looked very very runny. The molcajete was not hot leaving the food to cool off quickly and hardly any sauce in with the food.. the steak, chicken and shrimp were all bland (the cooks afraid to season their food?) Probably would not go back here again, was very disappointed . Kid-friendliness: Kids can go and eat here. Standard kids menu available. All I can say in this post is that the food was really great, really fast service, A+ waitresses, A+ Chef, A+ atmosphere, A++ green & red sauce. Just to make a point, both sauces are for people who like and can handle the spicy and hot. I love the chips, I order a Molcajete because it is a mix of different meats. Also I went to this restaurant for the same good feedback from other people. For those who like good Mexican food, I recommend this restaurant, excellent service, super fast, the waiters deserve a good tip for their attention and speed of service. Not to mention the cook, everything was really delicious. If you like spicy sauce like I do then just ask the waiter for it and you wont regret it. My rating is high for this restaurant.

El tapatio is one of the only Mexican food experiences and Wichita falls. Thats worth your time at all. That being said, I ordered the quesadilla and Im used to being able to eat a quesadilla with my hand, but theirs is so large and filled with the brim with stuff that its more of a fork and knife ordeal. So I wouldnt recommend getting the quesadillas unless youre ready for that. But everything else my friends had and are queso all looked delicious. Whatever I had last time. I think it was a cheese enchiladas. Those are really good. So yeah its like not the best, but its definitely the best in Wichita falls. So you know you cant be picky. Anyways I recommend it. Used to come here every week and get the chips and queso and some nachos. Wow, you have multiple reviews who write the same text .. first of all they have a camera pointing at our table. Please feel Free to review the footage. Here s a real review: Salsa like tomato soup Frozen Margarita taste like a heavy dose of sweet n sour. How about lime instead the chips are 1 square inch and break into small pieces my fajitas were cold. I thought they are supposed to be sizzling hot? My friend ordered a quesadilla with a 24 long hair. the waiter studied my ID for a solid minute and was making faces like he didn t believe it was me. This place has been a favorite of the in-laws for years. I think the food is great, but it is a bit on the plain side. My wife - who favors more flavor - thinks the food is just ok. Never been here before today. Ordered online, went to pick up my food, 27min later they never cooked it but they received it and took out payment (they said that they thought it was a duplicate of someone elses order). This place is NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. We had three adults and a baby. They sat us in the party room with a large group of women who would scream at the top of their lungs every few seconds. We had to ask to move twice before being moved two tables over and their excuse was that they won t listen when told to be quieter. When we went to leave I noticed the rest of the restaurant was empty aside from that section, so we could ve easily been moved someplace else to keep the baby from being scared with every scream. There was no changing table in the restrooms and no toilet paper in the stalls. Do NOT dine here.

The food was great! I got the beef enchilada plate with an appetizer of queso Blanca. The queso is the best queso Ive had at a restaurant. Looking at the other reviews, Id say that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and this applies to food as well. We arrived for a late lunch and it was not crowded. Our server was prompt, but it took 30 minutes to get our food. The tea is so weak that you cant tell the difference between the tea and water. The chips were stale and the hot sauce is nothing to write home about. The entire meal was pretty bland. Ive eaten enchiladas for sixty years and have never experienced any this bad. In my humble opinion this is the worst Mexican restaurant in Wichita Falls!

Yuck. Not sure how you mess up enchiladas.. but the corn tortillas were raw and its topped off with canned tomato sauce. Queso was refrigerator cold.. tried to warm it up in the microwave and parts if it coagulated. UPDATE: I never did order the enchiladas again but a friend had me try the Pollo Loco and I go back often for this plate, and the green salsa. The service was fantastic, my cup was never empty food came out hot and in a reasonable amount of time. The atmosphere was exactly what Id expect for a Mexican restaurant. We got exactly what we ordered the way we ordered. That said the food was very bland. The rice was good but everything else tasted like it was prepared with the most minimal of spices, even the salsa for the chips didnt have a lot of flavor.

First time coming here and we are NOT disappointed. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere are all amazing! I got a chicken dish and the chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly. We will definitely be back soon! Vegetarian options: There is a half a page of vegetarian options on the menu.

The Quesadilla Texana is my all-time favorite dish at El Tap. But you wont go hungry with any food choice on the menu. Portions are large, and very affordable! The service has always been cheerful and attentive during our visits.
